Love this store for halal meat purchases, you can shop here knowing they are serving 100% zabiha halal meat. The kitchen items are delicious and very reasonably priced. Im obsessed with the chicken 65 and you get a huge portion for $10. Highly reccomend not only as a grocery store, but also as a place to grab a bite to eat!

Best Biryani and Halal Meat Selection in Glendale Heights Area

Last night a friend of my son brought nihari purchased from Pardesi grocery store. All I can say is that I have never tasted such a perfectly spiced Nihari. Good job Pardesi.This rating is meant for Nihari only.

Pardesi grocery does a fantastic job of providing anything a desi household needs from halal meat to spices to frozen food items. The owner knows the true meaning of providing excellent customer service.

The bread is freshly baked, vendors and stockers are always willing to discuss the suggestions.

The guy that rings you up has the worst attitude ever. He does not deserve this business. I’m the one giving him business and he is disrespectful trying to kick me out of his store. All I ordered is a food and he couldn’t even correctly give it and on top of that had a attitude. In our local community I also heard this guy has a bad attitude. Come on guys respect your customer. Next time I’m going to call better business bureau. They have expired food too.

The daily made food is good but the quantity keeps going down and the price is creeping up. They could work on customer service and politeness. Prices are okay. Have found stuff cheaper at other stores.

I called to make an order for meat at 5 pm! The guy on the phone tells me, we are too busy and packed we are not taking any more orders today and cannot take your order! So rude with a very mean voice. First of all, mind you I go to Mediterranean Market because they are nice people and good service, but I had no choice so I had to call them. The guy has the nerve to tell a customer on the phone he cannot cut a damn chicken breast? Just chicken I had to pick up and he said no call tomorrow I said no I will not be calling this store. This is very bad customer service and if anyone reads this, just know that this store owner and people have no manners or professionalism on how to speak with consumers. To be honest I do not go there because he doesnt have good meat anyways. I just had no choice because we were out of chicken. Hey Pardesi Grocers, LEARN SOME MANNERS!

Meat section is smelly & most of the grocery is expired. On the top if you tell owner he shows you attitude. I bought chicken which was rotten & throw it in garbage

I have been shopping at Perdesi for several years. 7+ to be exact. I usually got all my indo-pak grocery and meat. I hate to say this but they have many expired things that I have ended up buying. When I do bring it back, they have always exchanges gladly. That is why this review wouldve been a 3 star. Until recently, I bought a box of cookies which were expired and I brought it back to the Bloomingdale location when the person working there said that he needed the receipt. I never keep my receipt and they have never asked me for it. On the top of that he refused to return it without the receipt. I was so furious but I just took the expired cookies back. Hopefully they have some food inspection and get fined because they have expired stuff every so often.

Average Pakistani grocery store, with average groceries available. They have a kitchen there so they cook and sell home made dishes in commercial setting, owners dont speak much but service is good, sufficient parking lot but need a lot of lightening all in all its a good place.

This is an Indian grocery store with a butcher shop. They have a decent size of Indian groceries but no where near the selection Patel Bros or some other grocers carry. The problem I have is with the service. The owner doesnt greet his customers and isnt very polite. I guess thats how they treat their customers in India/Pakistan. Plus hes cheap; he always wants customers to pay with cash if its not a large amount. Not going to work here buddy! Ill take my business elsewhere.

This is a great small business. Its bigger than the average grocery store therefore has a lot more things. My one stop shop for everything desi. Includes basic things in every desi grocery store of course but also take out food, frozen food, a wall dedicated to masalas, a wide selection of certified zabiha halal meat, some vegetables, a range of mitai, and more. Also there are some things made by the locals which are also sold here like the gulab jamun right next to the counter. Absolutely delicious.The customer service is great, kind and helpful people. Good sales during Eid time.The BEST thing here for me is the take out food. Delicious and inexpensive. I would recommend the chicken 65, chicken biriyani, Harlem, and if you are there early on a weekend, the halwa puri. The halwa puri has the perfect ratio of puri, halwa, and chanay and is served fresh out of the tawa.

It is my goto place for desi groceries. Mumtaz bhai is very nice and loving person always greet you with a smile. I find mostly everything related to desi cooking here. Their cooked food is awesome specially Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65 and Frontier Chicken. Yummy
