I went in to get my battery tested and Deon was rude and seemed bothered when I asked. He stated it was the alternator when he checked the battery. With that being said I took it to the dealership in which they said my battery was bad not my alternator. My car does have 2 batteries in it which the dealer did replace the other but they did not replace the 1 I had originally got at autozone a couple of years back. I went back to Auto zone to get that auto zone battery replaced since the dealership said it was no good. Unfortunately I was not able to find the warranty with auto zone on this battery. When I again went back after the dealership to replace the battery to auto zone I again encountered Deon. I asked about replacing it. He took his battery tester to my car and again stated it was my alternator. He made no suggestions or anything so I made a couple of calls while he went inside without saying anything. I went back inside and spoke with Dylan which had great customer service and helped me out. Since we couldnt find the warranty I decided to go ahead and purchase a new battery. He was great, replaced the battery gave me suggestions on the battery and which 1 would best work. I asked Dylan if I can keep my old battery since Deon said the battery was good and I wanted to take it to the dealer to get bench tested. Dylan put the battery on the battery tester again and he showed me that the battery that Deon had originally tested and argued it was good now showed it was a dead battery and no good. I did thank Dylan for helping me out and showing me and I did mention to him that maybe Deon could be taught more on using and ready the tester. My 2 stars are for Dylan. As for Deon very bad customer service and poor skills to be working at auto zone as he cant even help with a simple battery reading. He seemed bothered to even be asked a question.

I just left AutoZone I have a 1997 and the guy did not know how to work with it and all I needed was advice on fuel treatment I believe they should put people that are experienced or teach them about what they are putting with but in certain shifts at the store that do not care about whats going on with your vehicle and thats sad to say because my family are mechanics and I see no passion

43rd Ave between Dunlap & Northern great location. 4 registers open, in and out in 10 minutes. 35th Ave South of Glendale SUCKS! Rude employees with only 2 registers open. Well worth leaving and driving a couple extra miles.

DONT SHOP HERE. These guys do not know parts at all. 2 trips 2 different vehicles both times they sold me the wrong oil filter wrench causing me a lot of time and frustration on 2 separate occasions. Incompetence! And the manager just wants to sell you stuff even if you CLEARLY do not want it. I couldnt give 0 stars but I wish I could. Now I still have to deal with them again for a refund. ☹

Okay but staff is not helpful when finding parts they just say there is another one in this area and they do not have the part so Im just on a wild goose chase for a parts

Employees need to be aware of their customers and help where help is needed no one acknowledged us or even care that we were standing there in line with no 1 else on the another register besides 1 person that was too busy answering phones

Great Customer Service! My Father in law was stranded, I drove to rescue him as he is disable. I removed battery, drove to AutoZone (8800 n 43RD Ave Glendale,AZ.) as are known for quality batteries among other items. Store was knee deep in customers, we waited patiently as did others. I was amazed at the attentiveness by employee known as MaryJane. Once it was our time at counter she offered suggestions as to what was best for his vehicle, reminded us to purchase installation kit too. MaryJane was very knowledgeable and Ultra professional. Many thanks for hiring a winner in our book!

I had the best experience this past weekend at AutoZone. Derek is the man. He went above and beyond his call of duty. Instead picking the car part out, he actually transformed AutoZone to his personal garage. He fixed my car right there on the spot, and I am forever grateful.

This Auto Zone is filled with helpful people who can find a part or check your battery. Sometimes they will even help you find where your new part needs to go. The location is conveniently located. I will go to their location even though there is one next to me.

The manager installed my battery, she could not get the positive terminal to sit flush. So now the terminal is halfway on. I mentioned that the terminal needed to be pried apart she said she couldnt do it because there was juice running.

The customer service here is horrible. Everytime I go here, not even the manager knows what he is talking about. No not because I am a woman they have done it to my husband too. Almost gave me the wrong brakes after telling me I never purchased front brakes. He told me front and rear brakes start with so and so letters. While both us are staring at the screen with those in my account he says I dont have warranties on them . Its amazing how they have a job.

I had called seven different Auto Zones around me and they all had terrible phone customer service, except for this one! Ken was very polite and helped me right away. When I went it to pick up what I needed, Paul helped me and he as well was very polite and had great customer service. Basically I went to a location out if my way just because the employees were very customer friendly, because it does make a difference! Great job guys!

Those gentlemen were very helpful. I wasnt really sure about what I was going to do with my car but the young man was very helpful and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need.Then on my second trip the young man was very helpful and prompt. He changed out my battery and got me on my way.

I went to the store around 8pm. Asked a bearded guy at the counter. He checked the part in the computer then told me the numbers and where to find it. (I was expecting him to just grab the piece and check me out at the counter like what I always experience in stores like auto zone.) So, I went and tried my best to find the piece but, I couldnt find it. So, I told him that I cannot find it. He looked mad and went to the isle and grabbed the piece. I am the only customer at that time and he was just there standing. Dont hire lazy staff!

Line was too long

Went in looking for rotors for 2013 altima lady was not attentive she kept leaving me at the counter they had plenty of help. When she finally decides to help me she finds a pair in the system bt not in store she did suggest to call another store which at this point I decline and decide to go to orally instead. They took care of me right away and where very attentive

If I could give them negative stars I would. I stood in line for a good 15 to 20 mins and a line grew behind us, so after they were done checking out and helping the people in front of us and it was our turned to be helped getting our battery checked the associate told us we had to wait 10 more mins for them to work on the line behind us. What I don’t understand is how it is fair to make us wait more so that the people behind us who got there after us don’t have to wait as much as me. Horrendous customer serviceReply: I dont have a problem with waiting for my turn to be served but when you cast me aside to help the people behind me in line that when I have a problem

The staff is usually pretty good here, conveniently locatedand open 24 hours.

AutoZone staff were very helpful in diagnosing what my check engine light meant, and then very helpful in cancelling my special order when I realized I was in over my head with that repair project. I wish I had gotten the names of the staff who helped me so I could give them a shoutout. It was after 9 on 8/3/18 if that helps.

I came here to get my battery replaced and the person who helped us, Ken, was very helpful and patient. It took about 10-15 minutes. Overall, the customer service was excellent!

Ive been shopping at AutoZone for decades with the occasional adventure elsewhere when required. They offer top notch aftermarket new, remanufactured and rebuilt parts. Ive found that when needed they stand behind their products and have always honored their warranty. I also appreciate being able to return parts at a store other than the one an item was purchased at. I know some of the managers and even some owners. These folks around here are knowledgeable and honorable. And most of the time their prices are right.

I usually go to this auto zone. Its a good location. Neighborhood isnt that great but the guys in here are pretty awesome! The manager drove to my House to bring me a fan wrench When a employee gave me the wrong size and i couldnt drive there to get the correct size.

They have curbside delivery too if you order online

Very clean store, knowledgeable staff. Only downside I found was that there werent enough staff members to handle the long, slow-moving line. Of course, the slow pace in line was likely the result of each customer getting individualized personal attention, so it was tough for me to be upset. Regrettably, I had a schedule to follow, so I ended up going to a different AutoZone.

The store manager lacks customer service skills and appears to have little mans disease. He couldnt answer a question without givening attitude. He also didnt even acknowledge me when I said good morning to him. Autozone just lost a customer.

When I got to this store, I let them know I needed a new battery and at first, they refused to change it because, apparently, I parked in the wrong area of the parking lot? They refused because they didnt want to go into the sun to change it and that is supposedly a policy. Seriously? The sun moves across the sky during the day, so at some point, the entire parking lot would be in the sunlight. Do you refuse to change the battery at that time of the day if someone comes in? So then they tell me I will have to wait up to 2 hours to get this fixed. Really? So, after I told them I would wait in the store, he then goes out and changes the battery within 5 minutes. I was also told that I would get a $25 credit if I gave them my old battery, which I did. Did I get that credit? No. I sure didnt. So, I would not recommend going to this AutoZone. Actually, because of this AutoZone, I will be going to OReillys from now on. I will also be suggesting to all of my friends and family to stop going to AutoZone as well.

Im in and out of this location constantly. Love the fact that it is 24 hour, and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the lines are usually fairly long.
