My headlight went out this morning - I realized I needed a new bulb so I purchased one thinking I would juzt do it myself..then realized I didnt know enough about the vehicle I had borrowed so I dropped into Pep boys and explained my reticence to Landon who promptly walked me out to my car and changed the bulb in less than 5 minutes. Landon is awesome and I really appreciate his friendliness and confidence!! I will go there again.

I purchased the battery in April 2020 and it’s completely dead now, they acknowledge that I am a frequent customer but have absolutely no record of the battery purchase. I asked if it was worth losing a customer and they were perfectly happy with that.

I was a life long discount tire customer until today. Pepboys put four new tires on my truck today quicker than ever. I was missing the socket for my anti theft lug nuts. They had one that worked. They also got me a new one to go with me. I am headed on a long road trip and didnt really have time to track one down. Did I mention that the four tires were $500.00 dollars cheaper than the last 4 I bought at discount. The customer service at this location is top notch.
Amazing customer service. Landon was the first employee I interacted with and he answered all my questions and walk me through every situation. I asked to see the tires and he allowed me to see and actually feel the tire. All other employees got me situated and honored their quotes. Truly blessed to work with them. Definitely will come back in the future.

Honestly some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I brought my car in for service because it overheated. They charged me $800 and 2 weeks later overheated again. I brought it back because there was a 90 day warranty. They said nothing happened to their warranty products. So I told them I wanted my car towed to another garage. The attendant Bruce never gave the tow truck my keys so they left.They sat there for an hour while Bruce was doing “other things”. Obviously Bruce was bitter I was taking my car elsewhere. Bruce was horrible to talk to on the phone and has no customer service whatsoever. This place is very shady and don’t recommend them to anyone. A very bad experience I hope no one else has to deal with them with this warning. There are much better mechanic shops around town
I was in the shop today and had my tires and alignment done. I was in a hurry to pick up my kid from school. Gentleman names Bobby helped me with everything quickly. He was very professional and nice. He and the whole team worked fast and great to make sure everything was done on time. Thank you very much. I am recommending their shop to all my friends and family members.
We had stupidly run out of gas and they had a couple of gallons to give us so that we could get going again it didnt have to wait an hour and a half for AAA! What a blessing!
I love car parts stores. The place is closing so go get what they still have left at somewhat of a discount. Not much you can do. I rarely give 5 stars just because there is always room for improvement. Great store but the only way you or anyone is getting 5 stars is if you have topless girls serving cold beer behind the counter! 😂 😉
Have been here a few times, when the retail side was open. Customer service was great. Price matching and discounts were great as well. Today my strut compressor tool took a turn for the worst. Called around to have a shop do it for me and what do you know pep boys came through and had the best price and right equipment to do it. Picked them up 1 hour later . Great job thank you. P.S. I am a mechanic my shop was closed today glad to have pep boys as my neighbors.
Great service. Tim was very professional and Haley did a textbook flat repair. Would have given them 5 stars but the shop was pretty dirty and cluttered. Sign of a busy shop but...I definitely will come back.
Had a flat this 4th of July, and my usual tire place was closed. Came across Big o Tires on 61st and Bell Ave and stopped to have it fixed. Marcelo and his team were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Definitely recommend their services and I’ll be coming back for further services!
I keep going back to Pep Boys with loyalty because they always do the most for me! Their service stands out as above and beyond, pleasant, and honest. Ive had someone stay late to get my oil changed same day, help me find the right batteries for my key fob AND help me change them and make sure they work(thanks, Bobby!!), then yesterday I took it in for my check engine light - they not only arranged a Lyft to get me to work on time, but they waived the diagnostic fee because I need to take it to a dealership. Landon kept me posted all day and was so nice. I love you guys! Thank you for making a difference in the auto shop industry!
I was at Pep Boys last week to have my two front tires changed. There had been a lot of recent rain and I was worried about my car safety. Bobby Helms was incredibly diligent and thorough to make sure that he found a great tire for me and my car. He was also able to deliver a fantastic price and exceptional customer service. I was extremely grateful for his attention to detail. I also added an oil change and Im pleased that all of my cars needs have been fully addressed. I will be working with Bobby for now on for my car needs :)
They told me it was gonna be 2 hrs to get my wheel alignment done and it was done within 40 min! This guys are fast and a awesome place!! Would highly recommend coming here!

Absolutely the BEST experience I have ever had at a car shop!!! A guy named Bobby provided me with EXCELLENT customer service and knowledge and the manager John was also friendly and engaging and the 2 of them together made the best team! The place was clean, big, with a great selection. I already have recommended them to my friends and family.

Apparently if you call an oil change is 20$ but if you send an 18 year old girl in to get the work done it’s 56$ because she brought in her own oil filter. These people up sold her immediately after talking to me and lack integrity. I have them the opportunity to make it right and can even understand a small price jump but this is unacceptable.
Bobby has helped me twice now and is excellent. I got my truck towed in the second time an hour before closing and Bobby jumped in and helped the mechanic so that my car wouldnt have to wait over night. Just hands down excellent service. Will keep coming back for these reasons. Highly recommend. Also Chris the technician stayed late just to do my car. Amazin .
Very kind people and reasonable price on oil change...
Seemed to do good work but also seemed very pricey. Took a long time. Im pretty sure they forgot about me. I expected it to be a bit, but I saw my car go in the bay, up on the lift, and then down again. After about another 45 min of hearing nothing I went back to the front to ask how much longer it might be. The guy then turned and saw my paperwork, and said, oh, its just about done. It had been sitting in the parking lot for probably 30 minutes, and they werent busy. As far as price, $87 was the price for a full synthetic oil change after a $20 discount. Maybe its just that more expensive in this area, but where I just moved from, WA state, I paid $40 for the full synthetic... oh well. Like I said, they were nice and did good work, but I will be shopping around to see if I can find anything better.
I purchased tires for my 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible the technician was absolutely amazing the cashier or the person who was write writing up the service ticket went into great detail on the best price and fit for my car and the time of me driving it, also help me get my credit card with pop boys. I was going in for an oil change and then told it could not be done because the hood didnt open and may need to be repaired. I went home and called my dealership to have it fixed. When I lifted the latch release for the hood it popped open without any struggle. So not sure what latch was being pulled at the shop. I was simply told they couldnt lift the hood and I would need to schedule an appt to have my oil change done.
I was a little disappointed. On Google store hours are 9am Sundays. When I pulled up they wete closed. Several people had the same idea and left. I found an employee waiting outside and told me the store opened at 10 🤨.
Customer service was incredible. They didnt have what I needed in stock but went above and beyond to help me find a location that had what I needed

First off, I went here because I have insurance that covers repairs here.Brought my car in twice for stalling issues, which to me is a pretty serious issue! Couldn’t drive anywhere, didn’t feel comfortable driving to work or driving anywhere with my three kids in the car, so has been extremely stressful issue for me trying to figure out how to get around.First time I went in, seemed nice and told me they would try and figure it out. Left my car there almost all day, hearing nothing, finally called and got “well, car didn’t stall for us, so you can pick it up”Second time I went in trying to explain everything I could and exactly what was happening, felt blown off really... didn’t seem to care what I had to say.Received exact same response, but he actually called me back after a few hours... oh, but my check engine light was on and they “didn’t have a machine that read these codes my car was giving “So... picked it up, took it right in to another company. Found it was the fuel pump! Glad to have this other company figure it out, so I can soon get back to driving to where I need to go safely!Only positive thing I can say is that, because they could t figure anything out, I was never charged.

Tried to sell me $1200 in repairs I didnt need. Told me I needed a new CV axle among them. Went to get a second opinion and New mechanic said I didnt need anything. 3000 miles later no issues. Theyll either dont know what their talking about or trying to rob you

Great service! I have been coming to this location for 2 years. Bob is the front man there and has always told me the truth in what my car needed and honest by not overpricing everything, like almost every other car shop I have been to. I trust Bob, and so that is why when my car needs a check-up, I go to this Pep Boys location! They actually Fix the problem that I came for with my car, no temporary fix games that other places end up doing. I also feel that as a woman with no knowledge of cars, they are still respectful and show that they care and want to help.Dwayne was the expert technician that ended up doing the service on my car and I havent had any problems since. Im sure all of the mechanic technicians there are great as well. I will be back when I need to. Thanks for great service!
Took my rusty old f150 in for brakes. I was really impressed with the service! Tim went above and beyond my expectations, he let me know about any other issues with the truck, was willing to answer any questions i had and he did all the work in no time! I will definitely be coming back for any other services!
Horrible!! Had oil handprints all over my door, window, hood and front grill. My hood wasnt fully closed and oil dipstick said add in parking lot at Pep Boys and Walmart where I stopped to get another quart. Paid 56.88 which is about 20 dollars more than what I pay to do it myself and I dont get cheap stuff. Definitely wont be back to Pep Boys and I highly dont recommend anyone else to either!!
All I can say is WOW! Landon & the boys took tremendous care of us. Not only were we in & out in a flash; but they were nice enough to fit us in just before closing time when most other people would have turned us away. Was not a Pep Boys fan until today.Excellent job, excellent customer service!

Not sure what to say about this visit. I took my car in for a 11 oclock appointment I made online and describe the symptoms that I was having with the car. They said they would start with a engine Diagnostics and go from there he asked me for a number that you could reach me at and I turned over my keys. I didnt receive a call all day and I ended up calling them around 3 to get an update and they said they were still working on it and would call me once they found something out I waited the rest of the day and nobody called me and it stayed there overnight without then letting me know that it would. I wave the next day until I got off of work at 3 and then still had to call them to find out what was going on. The gentleman I spoke with said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it nor could they repeat the symptoms that I described him and I could pick it up. So I took the bus up to Pep Boys to pick up the car and then they couldnt find the keys after finding the keys the gentleman brought them to me and said he pulled the car to the front so I grabbed my keys and thank them and ask him for any advice and he said he didnt know what he could tell me because he was not the one that worked on it. so I left and went to my car and it wouldnt crank over at all so I went back in and the two gentlemen that were there said that they would put the booster to it to get it jump-started so they proceeded to do that for me and found out the battery was dead. When I took the car in the battery was okay I had no problems cranking over the engine so in part I had to buy a brand new battery they told me or the car would just sit there. So I bought a battery. It started right up so I went in and paid came back out and started heading home didnt get more than 1/2 mile down the road and it did the exact same thing to me that it did when I took it in. So why werent they able to find the problem when it did it right aways. Not happy with this visit
Fast and friendly service!I was overdue for an oil change and needed something same day. I called and spoke with Bobby and he stated it was a rather busy day as it was the weekend. Although he couldnt guarantee service same day he was very helpful and provided me with multiple other options to ensure I was still taken care of. He even advised that I come in and see if I could get squeezed in.I took his advice and luckily was able to get in and out rather quickly! I never really had any experience with PepBoys until now, I used to always go to Firestone. I would definitely recommend PepBoys and this location!
Ill be honest I had done to AutoZone the day before but their staff is so rude and condescending that I ended up leaving. My brother recommended you guys and he was right. Marcello was not only polite but incredibly professional and honest. He never charged me for the service because he said that he couldnt find the leak. Now if thats an honest I dont know what is. I picked up a chunk of metal in my tire just before they closed. Charlie was gracious enough to stay open long enough to patch my tire. It turned out the metal was so large the patch would not hold so I had to buy a new tire they stayed open long enough to help me get that done. Thank you Charlie for making that call. You have to make an effort to big this big of a Jerk. I carefully pulled in with a flat tire which started to come off the rim. They were going to try and pull it in the bay and when I told them no just jack it up there, they said they didnt have a jack. Really? I was right outside there bay. I told them forget it Ill do it myself. We took the tire off and took it to Discount where all they do is take care of their customers.I cant believe anyone can operate a business like this and be so rude.Even inside the store the guy gets a call and the person on the other line wanted a price on lug nuts. The nuts were right behind him with large bold prices, simple right? He kicked it back to the other department. I knew then I was in trouble. Id fire that manager in a heart beat.
Having friends and family have horrible experiences with Pep Boys in New York State, I was hesitant to go but I was in a pinch and needed new tires badly and I was waaay overdue for an oil change. I was able to get in same day (late afternoon) for 2 new tires and an oil change. The vehicle was ready faster than I could imagine. Two great new tires and the oil change done quick and I was able to get on with the rest of my day. The car drives so much smoother. Very friendly staff. Fair pricing. Thank you for a better impression than the stores back east.
My car was pulling hard to the right and I thought I needed an alignment. Turned out my 7 year old tires had seperated and needed to be replaced. The service clerk figured out how to get me the best price. They gave me $80 off each tire with my road hazard warranty (also 7 year old). Then to boot, he also have me $20 off the alignment. John the service manager even gave my daughter a kinder joy (a toy and chocolate egg) for being so patient! This is why I keep coming back to this Pep Boys.

Great selection of auto parts. Very friendly staff. I called in the morning and asked for golf course cart batteries. They only had 2 on the shelf. They ordered more for me and said it would be there by 2:30. Sure enough, at 2, I received a phone call, and all the batteries were there. Excellent service!!!!

This is the dirtiest chain store I have been in for a while even came close to most seven elevens, not to my surprise but with filth comes bugs. There are spiders everywhere, which brings spider webs which attracts dust. While waiting in the service waiting area I counted 4 spiders just on the window customers have to watch their car being serviced. Then I look down and there is a cockroach on the ground. At least the customer service here was very good and the employees were very professional thanks for that!
I wanted to learn how to change the oil myself in my car. I went in and they were very helpful in telling me the steps I would need to take and the supplies I would need. I had a difficult time getting the oil plug loosened so I went back and the whole team went out of their way to help me find what would work in getting the job done and walked me through the challenges I had, step by step. Because of their help and guidance, I was successful in changing the oil and I am confident I can do it again! I appreciate all of your help!
This place has the worst customer service. My mother was interested in getting new shocks for her vehicle and they were just rude. Barely answered reasonable questions. And the guy working at the register acted like he was on heroin the night before or even when we were standing there, he was falling asleep just looking at his computer, then he directed my mother to someone who acted like he was too busy to help us. There is nothing Peppy about this place.
Brought the car in as it didnt feel and handle as usual. Mechanic checked on only 1 thing and told me that nothing else was amiss yet I already knew that my windshield wiper fluid pump was bad and at least 1 motor mount was broke. When I questioned the pump he quickly fumbled his words and said oh yes yes its needing replacement as well Ill have to give you a separate quote on that one. He never did tell me why the couldnt be on the same estimate. I asked as well to check my suspension. Alignment and CV joints by visual and driving it even if its for 50ft in the parking lot and he refused saying he did this job every day and he knows for a fact that that is all that was wrong. I picked my car up and brought it to someone else and found that not 1 motor mount but all five were broken and needing replaced, as well as the wiper pump. But Also I was severely out of alignment, needed new shocks and needed a new CV joint and there were 2 tires with threads showing that they completely overlooked and its not at all hard to miss. The second mechanic shoo noticed the tires within 5 seconds of the car pulling in! I am so let down by Pep Boys customer service because up until now Ive never had anything bad to say about them and was always advocating and referring people for various repairs there. Looks like those days are now behind us as I cannot risk sending a friend or loved one to them in good faith and trust that Pep Boys is fulfilling there duty to keep the families that drive their business safe from the consequences of normal wear and tear and various repair cycles that vehicles require, most especially their own work being a direct threat or savior on the vehicle these families are entrusting to their car! I cant have my name associated with that should my referral end up dead because they failed to bring the issue to someones attention!

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. My wife and I scheduled a simple oil change and received all of the confirmation notifications to make sure we would be there. My wife arrived 17 minutes EARLY just to make sure it would be done. The gentleman working turned my wife away because they didnt have technicians to work on cars that werent already here. If that is the case, call your customer and let them know. Send an email or text like you did for the confirmation an hour before she had got there. Was all poorly done and hope no one else has to go through such a crappy experience.

Tried to get my mom for $1,800 for new compressor. I looked at it and it end up only needing a new belt. They refuse to refund the money for bad Diagnosis of A/c . Its been over a year now. A/c blows ice cold still.
I only gave this 1 star because it wouldnt allow me to give it no star. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you are a girl, dont go here with out a man. Because apparently they live in the 50s and completely take advantage of women. I will NEVER return and discourage anyone from doing business there.

Great service, and I was in and out of there in the allotted time they told me I would be. I did not give them 5 stars because after multiple attempts they could not reset my oil gauge. I wound up going to my usual mechanic and they were able to reset it for me

I went to pep boys on Bell Rd after being turned away from several others to get my brakes done .the manager Bobby was able to get me in and get my car back on the road Ive now returned to the same pepe boys after being turned down from other locations and London was able to get me in for my oil change on Xmas Eve they are so wonderful here .
After 3 times going there and being lied to, I decided to go elsewhere to get my car serviced. The first time I went I needed and oil change and transmission flush, I was told their transmission flush machine was broken and to come back in a bit for that. Second time I called in a week and a half later to make sure I could get it, the mechanic said he would need at least and hour to do the flush,so I needed to come in on the following Monday. The third time I went in at around 2pm the following week on Thursday and was told by someone in the shop that they did not even have a transmission flush machine, and that the person that works on transmissions had left for the day. Dont have pricing for services you dont provide on your website, and dont lie to customers so that they wait a month with low trans fluid, thats bad business.

Charged me $35 each to smoke test front and rear of truck, totally fair. I call, am told same thing, I get here and now its $89 to look at before smoking it. no thanks. So now instead of an easy $70 you get nothing.Maybe you should update your people in your pricing.
Literally called to ask if does free tire pressure check and was advised yea and there is a hose with a gauge where you can do it yourself between these bays in the shop....if I was going to do it myself would just go to a gas station thats why I called but ok
As a young person with little money to spend fixing my car, and a delivery driver that needs their car to work, Ive tried on multiple occasions to use pep boys as a nearby repair place. The first time, they told me that, despite their many POWER tools and such, they couldnt change my oil because they couldnt get the oil pan nut off. My boyfriend did it the next day, by hand. How this makes sense, i will never know, but this was nothing compared to the next visit i had. My car was overheating, because there was air in the coolant line, and that blew my old bleeder valve off. So, i bought the part, and called pep boys for a quote on a coolant bleeder valve and the transfer tube thingy and was greeted with a mere $90 labor price. Awesome! So the next day i towed my car there, and showed them the part and, its going to be $600. Excuse me? I told them what i was quoted and asked to speak to a manager, who took 10 minutes to even come to the counter. He just told me this is what it is, sorry for the inconvenience. I towed my car elsewhere, and was told $200, which was fine. I complained on their website and the manager called me to apologize (i am sure it was forced) and then stated Women can get emotional when they get something wrong, and its in their nature to not know what car parts theyre talking about. So, not only due to their lack of service, but now sexism is on their list of reasons to avoid this place like the plague
We went in for tires and were quoted a price. We took 5 minutes deciding if we wanted to go that route. Went back to the tire counter and a different guy told us they were $100 more!! We asked why and the guy was very rude as if our question was an affront to him personally. We asked to talk to the person who just 5 minutes prior quoted us and he told us the guy was gone. I think he just didn’t want to do the job or saw my friend had a wad of cash and thought he could pocket the extra $100 if we didn’t leave. It was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. I have never been to Pep Boys before and I don’t think I will go back. Seemed really shady.
I went in for an oil change. The price wasnt too bad once you include the coupon. The issue is, as I was driving home, I noticed oily fingerprints on the steering wheel. As I got out of the car at home, I see more oily fingerprints on the inside of the drivers door. I then inspected the rest of the car and found more prints on the casing of my side mirror and on the drivers door handle. Further inspection revealed drips of oil on the front of the car and on the passenger side front fender. Ive had tons of oil changes done over the years, and have NEVER had any oil spots anywhere on or in my car afterward. I baby my cars, so going back to this establishment for service is highly doubtful!!!

Went for an oil change. They came out with a 2 page sheet of things that needed to be done on the car, including needing a new battery.....if they had looked they would have seen the battery was less than 2 months old. They said it didnt matter, it still needed replaced. I asked for their read out to be copied so I could take it and they said they couldnt give it to me. I asked them to check it basin and they did, but machine quit working. They decided they had another machine they could check on, but it showed the battery was so bad I would have to let them charge it before they could even test it. I took my car to 2 different places within 30 minutes of leaving here without battery charging and both found battery to be fine. They also said engine had terrible leak....never saw anything in garage or lost fluids. Said tires needed replaced....they couldnt find that I bought from them and had warranty....said it was probably because they discontinued. Things that make you go hmmmm.
