If I could give 0 stars I would on how they’re handling their customer service at this location. Me and my mom were shopping at this store 9.23.2020, as soon as we walked in a Sephora employee asked us if we needed any help, I responded no not at the moment but If I do I’ll reach out. The whole time I was shopping it seemed she was after me just watching my every move. She later came up to me and my mom and told my mom rudely to put her mask covering her nose. I felt like she was trying to rush me and my mom out the store. I felt rushed and grabbed whatever and left. This is not how a customer should feel. I did not feel welcome and I don’t think I’ll come back to this location.

I give it a 4 because Storme has amazing customer service. I cant give it a 5 because while I was struggling to find make up no one came to help me. I really love it, yes its always packed and there is always a wait but they have top of the line products, i just went there to get tested out for a red lipstick, i had no knowledge of lipsticks and they really helped me the woman who worked on me was patient and listened to my needs, she also did an amazing job puting my lipstick on, and i bought the products because i love them so much. I got an amazing red lipstick and lip pencil. There products are on the pricey side but its all about quality.

This location was absolutely horrible to my husband and daughter !My daughter is 4 and is not required to wear a mask nor can she for personal/ medical reasons. The Sephora employee and manager wouldn’t let my husband in to pick up his item he bought online, she was rude and continued to badger him to FORCE my daughter to wear a mask. She also grabbed her manager and instead of letting them in they pointed to a sign !! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !Per the city of Glendale IF A PERSON is under the age of 6 or has a medical or physical disability surrounding wearing the mask they DO NOT have to wear one! THEY made my husband and daughter feel terrible and ostracized like they were diseased and could not step foot in the store, we will never shop Sephora again! And we will NEVER recommend this store!

If I could give no star, I would! I was hounded like a dog today by the assistant manager with neon pink and white hair. I already had my mask on and he started to follow me around the Arrowhead Sephora store! I felt harrased because he was hounding me like a dog around the store and spoke to me in a harrasing manner! After the second time of him rudley commanding me to put my mask on higher closer to my eyes I demanded to speak to the store head Manager. When I spoke to the store head Manager she said that Corporate as of this past Monday on August 3, 2020 the Coporation of Sephora made it mandatory that the masks be placed up past the nose near the eye socket and that since Sephora is a small and pop store, they dont have to follow the state mandated laws concerning the mask wearing, therefore the head Manager said, Anyone who cant wear the masks the way that Sephora wants one to wear it are not allowed in their store, this includes people with medical problems and the handicap. Unbelievable! They have become a discriminating store that is allowing their employees to practice this behavior that is against the Federal laws of our land. Please contact the following department if this happened to you at any Sephora store specially the Arrowhead Mall Sephora.If you think that you have been discriminated against in using such a facility, you may file a complaint with the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, or with the United States attorney in your area. You may also file suit in the U.S. district court.Do Not Shop At This Store!

I dont always shop at Sephora, but when I do, I have no issues. I am confused by the low rating. I dont wear any make up, however, I get all my skin care products here. Last time I came to shop, I found my face oil right away. I had a very kind woman ask me if I was finding everything alright. I told her I found what I needed and she responded, Great! We love hearing that! She just had a great over all attitude. The line moved quick and I was in and out in under 15 minutes :) I dont need anyone to sell me anything and I just love it when sales associates leave me be!

Jocelyn greeted me right away. She was at the register and I had Just walked in (headphones in, hat on, total give away I more Than likely wouldn’t respond). In all honesty, I’m going through a miscarriage and was just trying not to be bothered by the people in the middle of the mall running their businesses. She greeted me any way. It’s important because so often now a day’s especially in retail, people don’t greet you even if they see you walk in two feet from them. She helped me right away exchange a product and return what I had The entire time she was thoroughly listening to what I was Looking for lip product wise. She showed me a few suggestions and was eager to help. I appreciated Her immediate response to me being frustrated about not knowing what to purchase and having been on a long journey to find a lip stain/stick etc. we had small talk because I wasnt Feeling well from the process of the miscarriage and she was kind and compassionate during my visit. Really disappointed in this location specifically. Went in tonight (Monday) to buy a couple items so that I could use my $15 off $50 coupon I got sent to me through email. I was anticipating to buy more than I did but no workers were to be found on the floor, that was okay because it was really busy so I understood. Found what I needed and went to stand in line. Once we got to the register, I told the cashier it was my birthday month so she told me to choose from the options in the middle; I looked for a moment and asked her what the options were because I was not sure what the items were... she then told me again to look at the items in the middle... I then said again, I’m sorry I’m not sure what the items are... she rolled her eyes and described them to me like I was an idiot.... I’m sorry that I don’t often purchase makeup so I obviously don’t know every makeup and moisturizer in the world...then after placing my birthday gift in the bag along with my other items I was purchasing she gave me my total. I told her I was sent an email today about $15 off of $50, she then told me to pull up the code, which I did...I showed her a screenshot of the email with the code so that I wouldn’t have to sit there and sift through my emails while at the register... she then told me she needed to see the full email... totally understand that, so I went to pull it up and she then yelled the new total at me after the $15 off... I said okay great, here’s the email... she looked at me again like I was an idiot and said...”I already put the discount on there, it’s (whatever my new total was)”...Not sure why she was telling me one thing and doing another and making me feel stupid and wrong about it. She was very rude throughout my purchasing experience and will not return to this location again. MAC was a few stores down so I stopped in there to look. Although MAC was just as busy, someone greeted me right away and began helping me find the right foundation by sitting me down and making me feel important. MAC did a full face makeup tutorial for me for free. SO, I would recommend skipping the rude crew at Sephora at Arrowhead and stopping into MAC instead!!

Very Disturbing situation took place in this store today. My daughter and her 2 friends went into this location, they are all obsessed with make up! So of course this is the store they wanted to be in and take their time looking around at all the exciting stuff!Well unfortunately, the employees at the store, plus a sales rep gentleman with pink hair, decided to follow them around the store and make them feel very uncomfortable. They felt so uncomfortable they decided to leave the store, at which point the gentleman with the pink hair, who did not work for SephoraFollow them outside of the store into the mall area. Fortunately, there was another Sephora at this particular mall. The girls went into that one and were treated to free samples and felt very welcomed and safe. I did contact the store, and report this. So please just be aware and let your teenage girls know to be careful when they go in there. Or maybe they just should skip the store all together.

I don’t care if I get service or not here. I never have received it to begin with. They watch you like hawks. They’re not helpful at this location. If you need help finding makeup please research online or ask another customer. You’ll get more honest feedback, it can also save you time and money. Employees will sell you on what they like, not what will personally work for you. I went here recently and was shocked by what happened. Now, I love makeup! It’s obvious I don’t wake up with ruby red lips and a contoured face. I also have scars on my face so I don’t have the luxury of being natural. Anyways I caught an off duty employee making fun of me saying I wore too much makeup. Lol! She works here and sells it. Now where do people get off for making others feel bad? Also if you don’t like makeup or think there’s a limit please quit. There’s no use for people like you ruining potential sales by shaming others. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I made quite a few purchases here and its always hit-or-miss with getting help. Today I was there walked in looking for something and one of the workers completely ignored me. Then another one I was after to help me find a product also ignored me right to my face! I think this happens more when I go in there with my kids in the stroller... They are so unprofessional. They swear Im in there to let them run around and destroy the place! My kids dont even get out of the stroller. If anything, they should help me right away so I can get out of there. I dont have much interest in hanging out with a bunch of women wearing thick layers of caked-on makeup to cover their lack of self-confidence. Ha!

I like going to Sephora store and I like how the girls help you out specially Esmeralda she help me out in a concealer and recommend me to some setting powders but what I didnt like was how a lady just give me a sample and put it in a little bag and just send me on my way with no smile, and she continue with her work with another co-worker of hers been all smile to each other. What they need to do is show the girls that work there to be more smiles, to be happy to work there or if not to find another job they love, in the other hand the cashier was super nice and helpful.

This is a big busy Sephora. They have a huge selection of products. I usually can find what I’m looking for. I still haven’t had any luck with getting a foundation match done with the little machine they use because every time I’ve asked one of the employees just start to swatch random foundation on me instead. I try not to go in there during really busy times like during a sale or the holidays because it’s impossible to get help from an employee then. They rarely ever have points perks available. But those are minor things I suppose and they vary from visit to visit.

There were 3 employees who weren’t busy & I when went up to them to ask a certain item, the lady just said they don’t have it in stock. Went in looking for cologne with my boyfriend. Upon entering the store we were approached by a couple different associates all seeming very helpful. Further into our cologne search we came back to one of the associates, Hannah, that had introduced herself to us once already. Hannah totally knows exactly what she’s talking about when it comes to both men’s and women’s fragrances. She was very thorough in questions so she could really understand what we were looking for. She was also very knowledgeable about the science of fragrances and how they mix with an individuals body chemistry. Eventually, she helped us narrow it down to about 3 fragrances and grabbed us a couple of samples. I have always had great experiences at this Sephora but this one with Hannah was exceptional! We will certainly be back to this location soon and I will always look for help from Hannah when I’m looking at frangrances!

Employees were very rude. I went in for the first time to spend a gift card I received for Christmas and I had two employees push past my stroller without so much as an excuse me or sorry. I then decided I didn’t want to spend any money there and requested that the card me cashed out and was told they couldn’t do it. They just told me get rid of it or sell it. I won’t ever shop here and will always recommend ulta over Sephora when asked.

Every time Ive gone here Ive walked in with too high of an expectation I suppose. The first few times I went to get color matched and both times they color matched me with the wrong color.I have severe anxiety so exchanging a product is pretty darn close to the end of the world for me.I didnt mind too much because at least now I have foundation just in case I get darker.BUT today I went in with my fiance to look around, when we walked in we were greeted and informed that they were closing in 15 minutes, at the 13 minute mark its like I was counting down to midnight all over again.We had an employee come tell us every minute just to let you know were closing in 12 minutes, 11 minutes, 10 minutes.I got so fed up, this location SUCKS and I will NEVER be back. Tossing my sephora card and just ordering from the websites from now on.Thats right, Id rather pay more to order from whatever brand Im looking for than come back here ever again.

Usually I have an okay experience here but don’t go on busy days! Don’t go on the weekends if you can help it! It is always crowded and the customers are rude and the employees can’t handle it and tend to be not as helpful. My worst moment was being there on a busy day and going for a specific color. I found the tester to check that it was the correct one and bought it. Then went all the way to my car and thankfully decided to try it out in the car and it was the wrong color. I went back in and found that all the testers were mixed up badly. I let the cashier know that the testers were mixed up as I was exchanging and she was rude to me about it. I wasn’t trying to be mean, just let her know about it.

Went in to check out a new foundation so I went in barefaced. Just because I look like I do not know nothing about makeup or that I wont buy anything, it doesnt mean it is okay to ignore a customer. Not once did an employee come up to me to ask if I needed any help and I was there about 30 freaking minutes walking around. I also noticed about 3 employees grabbing the tester products and using them directly on the customers face. Extremely unsanitary. Then I can tell you that atleast 4 of the girls kept watching me as if I was going to steal something, even when I had a Sephora basket in my hand. The girl literally went from one side of the entrance to the side I was on and went back to her spot once I moved from the front displays. So rude. Definitely skipping this Sephora next time.

I suffer from rosacea and eczema as well as super sensative skin and went into Sephora today to try a few samples to determine if my skin would react positively to centain products. I was helped by three different Sephora associates and let me tell you, they were all amazing!! They not only helped me but also informed me of other products that may also help me. As anyone with my skin conditions knows its a lot of trial and error to determine what will work. I will try out these samples and definitely return to purchase these items if they react well with my skin. I have to say the customer service I recieved today was excellent and the associates are very knowledgeable about the products in store! Thank you!!!

I have sever psoriasis (an auto-immune disease that affects the skin) and have just started medication that has cleared up my thick, though skin. Before stepping into the store I was very nervous because I hadnt used make up for close to a year and was overwhelmed by the selection and trying to find something that would work with my skin without causing irritation. I came in on a very busy day and probably looked like a very anxious lost puppy. In sweeps the lovely Miss Anna who has been working for Sephora for for 7 years and also struggles with psoriasis. Not only did she point me in the right direction, she tried everything that I was willing to try on my face along a make up application. For the first time in a year, I felt more confident, and the best part was everything didnt burn like Im so used to! I did buy and pay a little too much to just spend on make up, but I walked out with more samples than I did product, some stuff we didnt try and everything we did, and the product I did purchase will last me forever! I highly recommend Sephora to everyone with any sort of skin irritation, you may pay more but its worth it. Again, shout out to Anna, she was extremely helpful!

What happened to this place I leave for nine months come back to a disaster I went with my cousin she wanted to try a new foundation and pick up a couple of samples and buy a setting powder anyways ... We walked in .... It was slightly more busy for a Tuesday ... Well anyways we were looking around she tried some swatches on her hand wanted to clean it off went over to check for a wipe and makeup remover there were none on the left side of the store she asked one of the makeup artists ... She barked at my cousin they should be there at the end cap and my cousin said no they are all out ... The employee( makeup artist ) ignored my cousin and was no help ... So it came to a point where she wanted a sample then again no one there to help so we walked to the other side of the store and a really nice girl asked if we needed help but it was on the opposite side of the store she said let me call someone on that side to help you ? So she couldnt walk two feet to help my cousin ? Im confused to why you would have employees stationed to one side espcecially since one side was extremely busy .. And the other dead .. This store must be losing money from shoplifters cause it felt like they were more concerned on catching people trying to steal or following people through out the store .. It usually takes a bit of time for someone to help me but 90% of the time they introduce me to somthing I like.On my latest to this sephora, when it wasnt very busy, it took forever for someone to offer help and the girl who helped provided the worst service Ive ever had! I asked for a gift set since my friend is still new to make up and she kept showing me contour kits. While I was trying to explain more she kept talking on her headset and completly ignored me. When I showed her a picrure of a set I saw online she said oh yeah! And took me to a completely different set at the front and told me to keep looking in that area. So ridiculous.

Bought a giftcard for my girlfriend, was not informed that the gift card is only valid at Sephora in JC penny only and not free standing Sephora stores!!!! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND UPSET now i have a useless 150 gift card that i cant return!!!!!!

I usually dont have many issues with this location but today was awful. Went to pick up a new illuminator and they didnt have a tester for one and didnt have boxed product for another. It took me almost ten minutes just to locate an employee to help me. I understand it was busy but that was just ridiculous. When I finally got ahold of someone, they had no idea what they were talking about. I came in for a specific product and named it precisely and then *I* had to direct *the employee* to the product because they didnt know their own store. They then said theyd check if it was available online, came back, and told me we could order online or if we wanted, we could go to the Sephora display in JC Penny because they had the product I wanted. So, we walk to the other side of the mall and they dont have it and claim that employee never called them to confirm they had that product in stock. It was incredibly frustrating. I really like Sephora but the locations near me are so annoying to visit so I might be switching to Ulta. Definitely wont be coming back here for a while, at least.

Today I went to this sephora and I finally remembered the name of the cashier that is always so friendly and polite. Charyell (I probably misspelled that and Im sorry if thats wrong) but shes the sweet girl with the braids, was in there again and everytime I come, she is super helpful and honestly the best employee, along with Timothy who color marched me and was also very professional and informative! Seriously THE best sephora in arizona because of those two.

People here dont help youu they just stand around they never ask if we needed help specially when u go with a clear no make up face not knowing i can slay my make up better then all those girls working at sephora not to brag! I rather 100 times go to ulta or order online then going in .

At first my experience was good then all of a sudden it was rude customers who wouldnt move out the way, so i couldnt reach for a product that i was recommended by the helpful sephora employees. Maybe Ill just stick to the Sephora inside of JCPenney.
