Its never an all day wait they usually get the job done in the time frame you’re given. Been trying to schedule warranty service for a month. Nobody called me back. I finally drove there to see them in person and they told me I should drive it to a different location that does their body work to get it looked at. They were helpful but said I needed to call back the repair number to schedule which I did and now they won’t return a call again. Horrible customer service

Also I wouldnt be mad if yall put more people of hue in the service department so it can be more welcoming to people of darker shades not saying the others arent nice its just you can tell theyre more welcoming to people who looks like them if you catch my drift...but my guy Antonio definitely needs a raise hes top tier and should be treated as such 😤

I came in for an oil change and change my wiper blades, after an hour and a half, I went out to see what’s taking so long. They told me then that they didn’t have the wiper blades in stock and they were on the way to the dealership. They should’ve told me when they found out. Finally the blades came and low and behold they were the wrong ones. It took two hours for this service (unacceptable). Fortunately they refunded my money for the mistake.

We were very pleased with the outcome of our Jeep purchase. We purchased our previous Jeep from a different dealership and when back thinking they would give us a good deal since we would be repeat customers. Well, they did not. (Griffin Jeep). So instead we searched around and Amato gave us the best deal. We enjoyed working with the different staff members as they were all very pleasant. The Service department is really unfriendly and impersonal. My Jeep had an issue and I was told three different things regarding the Diagnostic fee being used towards repairs if I decide to get work done.I didnt end up getting work done so I owed the diagnostic fee which was fine. The guy I dealt with in service was more interested in conversing with associates then assisting me. I needed them to switch my plates from one vehicle to another and they had me drive both my vehicles (one that had already been there getting diagnosed) into the service bay.The assoiciate I was dealing with saw the new car I got and indirectly insuated that it was a downgrade compared to.the vehicle I had them diagnosis that had a bad transmission. Going from a 2014 Cherokee with cosmetic, defects, bad trans, and a basic model to a 2018 Compass Altidue with heated seats, back up camera, beats audio...downgrade? Yeah okay. Guy with the low fro or low fade dont truly remember his looks as much as his meager service.

Russ has been the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with. Let me know I should fill out the financing ahead of time; cut down time spent at dealership. Michelle in financing was very nice and wasn’t pushy when I declined the various warranty and add-ons. Could’ve been a 5 star if the gas tank was full and a proper detail was done.. Im very disappointed in the service department of John Amato. I bought a complete set of 4 tires and the dealership threw away my spare tire which I drove in on. I tried working with Matt in the service department and he straight up ignored me even after he said he would make it right. Then I was contacted via email by Dan Nilsestuen and he asked what he could do to fix the situation. I replied, and he then ignored me. I gave him a month as of today to reply, so I would think that would be enough time.In the future Im getting my car serviced elsewhere.

My family have been loyal customers to this dealership but with the last truck purchase will stop us from going there ever again. We purchased a truck with specific options and it turned out the manager dan hid some issues from us and refused to come to a middle ground. He argued and even yelled at us saying he does not care and that our only option is to sell the truck back to him. Even when it came to light the truck had issues he said he does not care and will not touch the truck. We have even tried to contact the store owner or someone higher up than him and left countless messages but they also refuse to acknowledge any of it. Even others that work there have said that dan the manager is rude and disrespectful to paying customers because “all he cares about is his bottom dollar” and simply “doesnt care”. Never ever going back and plead with others not to either. They simply dont care about customers just their bottom dollar

I know its not a huge deal to everyone but the girl in the service department was too nonchalant about putting standard oil instead of synthetic oil in my Jeep. I had an appointment for synthetic. Now I have to come back 2000 miles earlier due to their error. That makes a big difference to someone who drives a lot. Without otherwise apologizing she threw a card at me thats good for a free tire rotation next time. Time is money. I will not be returning.The good - Its a nice newer facility.The bad - Its pretty much in the hood. Very close. Also apparently they dont pay attention to the details.

Very pleasant and polite, took time to answer all my questions thoroughly, great sense of humor as well. I just called John Amato for a deal that was waaaaaaay too good to be true, and it was, it was a typo online.BUT I was talking to Bridgette Hill, the sales woman, and shes the bees knees, the bomb.com and any other name for a person who is awesome. I just recently bought this 2013 VW Jetta SEL at this location and it was a mistake. The actual buying process was extremely tedious, dont expect to be here for less than 4 hours.I also have been having problems with the backup camera, which I called to address, only to be bounced around different voicemails for 3 days straight and then receive a call back 4 days later.I scheduled an appointment for them to diagnose my problem so they could give me a price quote for a problem that was obviously there when I bought the car and was not disclosed clearly, and was even used as a selling point despite the fine print stating otherwise. There was no verbal mention of a problem, intermittent or not. There are even inaccuracies in the paperwork such as the trunk not functioning when it does.After sitting in the dealership for over an hour, during which time no actual diagnostic was actually performed, I was informed that they cannot even tell me what the problem with the camera is because their technicians dont know the wiring layout of VWs.1/5 stars, I probably would not purchase from this location again and I warn others to be cautious if they do decide to come here.***I would also like to edit my review to reflect that I had set up an appointment with Indy despite the reply saying I had no appointment, I will attach pictures of texts proving otherwise.I would again like to reiterate that there was NO mention of a camera problem the day of the purchase, either by the manager or the sales person I worked with. Yes there was something briefly mentioned in the paperwork, but the problem in question was not disclosed verbally and I was only made aware of that stipulation in the contract after calling for 4 days.Also if it was a known problem why would I be called in to diagnose a problem you already knew of? In fact, the back up camera worked for the first 4 days I had the car. I honestly believe it was rigged to work for however long that they needed it to so they could sell the car.

From beginning to end of the process, JC was the kind salesman you hope helps you at the dealership, who goes that extra mile for customers. I really like his personality as a salesman, he was respectful to me, I felt like I got the royal treatment, even though I bought a used car. He was super flexible about letting me test drive for a few days, gased up and washed my car. I would definitely stop in to see him for my next car. At the end, I had more questions about the forever warranty and the gentleman at the front desk, helped me make figure out the maintenance schedule needed to maintain my warranty for my car, which is not a typical make for this dealership. This post is going to be a lengthy one so bare with me. From day one working with Amato it has been a headache. Towards the end of February, someone totaled my boyfriends fairly new Subaru WRX. A few weeks later, we saw an ad for Amato for an even newer WRX, with a LIFETIME powertrain warranty. The toss up for a new car was between them and another dealer in Illinois, but we chose them strictly for the WARRANTY. Fast forward to the purchase of the car, which we bought from Bridgette Hill. We went through Michelle Ziegler for financing, and it was very unprofessional. Between us and the couple behind us in line to speak with Michelle, we all agreed she is very unprofessional and flirty with the men who come into her office. Her top buttons were undone and she constantly felt the need to go out of her way to make comments regarding my boyfriends impressive tastes in cars, and even flirted with his dad. On the way home the tire pressure light went on, we noticed the detailer cut the window tint, and he even left the razor blade facing upwards on the floor! Right where I sit, how perfect. We contacted them about this, was given no response by multiple people. Let’s fast forward even more time, we tried to contact them regarding the LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY that was given to us, and they said to contact the warranty company. We did, they said given the fact that it was a Subaru, that dealer can’t help us (even though they sold it to us), and that any aftermarket parts on the car voided the warranty. At the time of purchase, Amato sold us this car with 3 aftermarket parts already on it. So they hyped up a warranty that was already voided prior to purchase. When this was brought to their attention, they basically couldn’t do anything about it due to “not having a Subaru Technician, they cannot help us with a Subaru”. So keep this in mind when buying a car from Amato, the warranty may not actually exist even if it’s advertised that it will. Not only has working with Amato been a headache, but it has caused even more stress after totaling a dream car. Never again would I choose or recommend John Amato Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Milwaukee.

Purchased a 2020 Jeep for Cash. Vehicle was shipped and arrived without Title or any original documentation. Contacted dealership several times but was given the run around by a salesman who tried to convince me I didnt need a title to register the vehicle. I called and asked to speak with JR, the general manager, but he never answered any of my calls and does not accept voice messages. I texted him and got the same results-NO RESPONSE!
