Worst Mazda Service Center in LA!!!Over the past year Ive taken my Mazda here to get routine service done because the place I previously took it to shutdown during the pandemic. My first impression was not a very warm one. Ive dealt with quite a few people here already and they arent friendly, not very knowledgeable and set either low or false expectations. It feels like they only care about their own agenda and not the agenda of things you need done; which is the whole reason why youve taken your vehicle here to get serviced in the first place!!!My last trip I needed very basic routine service done; oil change, air filter, tire rotation etc. I also was having issues with my key fob not allowing me to unlock the car or even start it at times. After a 2-3hr wait I finally got my vehicle back with some very convenient recommended services that left me with a way higher bill than expected (2/3 of that being from labor!). Long story short they did not fix my key fob which I did not find out until later when It took me 10 minutes to start my car.. This is not the first time Ive had to come back to address an issue that was not resolved the first time! When I called them to let them know this issue was not addressed in my last appointment, instead of seeing me right away they made me their earliest appointment which was 4 days out when all I needed was a key fob battery!!!This place is so frustrating! Please Dont Waste Your Time!!! They are a rip off in labor cost, there are ridiculously long wait times & they forget to address the issues youve come there to get fixed.
Well I was going to go here because Mazda wants me to get my driver assist checked as soon as possible. After seeing the owners replies to comments and opinions left by people who have the sole right to do so, Ill pass. Seems like an adolescent is replying to these reviews. Im notifying Mazda about this and asking for another reference.
Staff are nice, polite, and do a great job. They do take a long time to handle tasks and it would be nice if they informed you of something taking longer than expected. The location is old, there are not clear signs of amenities like the restroom.
Good dealer for complete novices! They start pulling their dealership tricks from the very first moment you get there, and if they sense youre too smart to fleece, theyll just send you for a run-around! Keep away unless you dont mind being taken advantage of!Update 1: It is abundantly clear that this dealership should be avoided at all costs! Simply look at their responses to negative reviews: they never say they are sorry about the bad experiences they were 100% responsible for, and even worse, they gaslight you to deny the kind of horrible experience that took place!! Do you need any clearer signs, people?
I cant thank enough Star Mazda service centre people and especially Louis who was the service consultant and who helped us in quick car inspection.We were driving from LA to SF and my husband by mistake hit the curb,we wanted to be sure everything is fine before we start our long drive from LA to SF,we called Star Mazda and requested them for quick inspection. The service centre customer care person was so polite and friendly,he listened to my situation and gave me appointment immediately after 30 mins.Thank you guys🙂
Our experience working with one of the salesmen here was exactly the stuff car dealership horror stories are made of.Our salesman, Israel, was uninformed on basic terms like what cap cost represented and had to be corrected by his manager on it. Worse yet, Israel had the gall to communicate in a manner that assumed we had little clue what we were talking about when it came to discussing the numbers. Quite the contrary; wed done our homework. Numerous times we asked to discuss the price of the vehicle before deciding between a lease and finance options. Twice he came back with every figure but a vehicle price quote. The runaround and all the dealership games you hear about? Showcased in full hereThings made much more sense when we met with the manager, who clearly sets the tone for the dealership. Predatory approach, overly long explanations and excuses as to why they cant budge, and the insistence that this is the best deal wed find because of the chip shortages and limited supply.If youre coming here for your business, I insist you look elsewhere. Your time and your sense of respect are VALUABLE. We called another dealership (Oxnard Mazda) from Star Mazdas parking lot after walking out on the negotiations. Within the afternoon, we drove out to Oxnard and came home with a new CX-5 at a far lower figure than Star Mazda said was possible right now. Its a far drive, but the time youll spend getting there wont matter when you make it up in an efficient, respectful transaction.Personally shocked by the 4.2 overall review rating, but its clearly padded by the one piece that seems to work here: the service department. If you need sales, seriously... go elsewhere. The location convenience is offset entirely by their approach.

Sometimes a dealer is necessary for things other than a vehicle. Like parts. Friendly, helpful folks in the parts dept. Ill come back to this review after I ask them for a fair deal on glass for a Miata hardtop. ;)
I am NEVER going back to Star Mazda. I have taken my car there for over a year and I have always been up to date on maintenance for my 2016 CX-5. I took my car in for an oil change this past November and they noticed a leak in the transmission. I brought the car back in to complete the repair and everything seemed fine. I drove the car less than 100 miles between November to January. They called to check how it was going and I told them everything seemed fine. I drove this car up to Portland, OR in January and have been here the past month. Suddenly my car was lurching and the transmission malfunction light came on. I immediately took it in to a local Mazda dealer. I called Jerry at Star Mazda and left a message to alert him of the problem. I never received a call back. The local Mazda dealer discovered that there was less than half the amount of fluid needed in the transmission. They checked for leaks and there were none, everything was dry and there was no evidence of a leak. The local Mazda dealer said that Star Mazda had preformed the repair on the transmission but never refilled the transmission fluid, so it basically burnt itself out. This mistake could have so easily been avoided. The local dealer had to order a new transmission and repair it, causing a huge inconvenience for me. Luckily the local dealer went above and beyond for me and got Mazda to cover the cost of the new transmission. Had they not, I would have been stuck paying $5,200 for a new transmission that was the fault of Star Mazda. I’m so disappointed with the service I received and how I never even received a call back from Jerry who conducted the repair. I will be going elsewhere in the future
I love taking my Mazda here for service. Jerry and Craig are always very friendly and helpful. There is also good seating if you decide to wait and free wifi.
The visit started off on a bad note. The day before, I visited at South Bay Mazda. I drove an hour after they told me to come see a car I wanted but then sold it while I was on my way and sat down at a desk. As I was driving back home frustrated, I called Star Mazda to see if they had the CX 5 I wanted. Israel let me know they had the specific one I was looking for and assured me it’ll be available for me to look at the next morning.Fast forward to the next morning, I arrived at Star Mazda with the car I specifically asked about parked on the lot with a huge “SOLD” tag on it. Not a great start. We moved to another similar CX 5 and went inside to discuss.I’ll preface this by saying that we quickly knew we wanted to leave this dealership after only 20 mins.1) they priced the car ~$1.5k over MSRP and kept saying it was nonnegotiable because of the “current climate”. Now of course I know certain external factors are affecting the car market, but a nonnegotiable sticker price for a 2021 CX 5…?2) We made it clear we weren’t decided on a lease or finance option but that is all they cared to discuss. Extremely pushy and stereotypical.3) After some back and forth tense conversation with Israel about how we are wanting to at least match other dealerships’ offers, we got offered speak to the manager directly. The manager let us know that “we should buy from another dealership” because the price we wanted is impossible. He also insisted that the dealership we brought up is only able to offer that great of a deal because of hidden fees. So we took his “grand” advice and left to the other dealership, Oxnard Mazda. We called Oxnard Mazda from Star Mazda’s parking lot and it’s a miracle we did.End of the story is we drove an hour and a half to Oxnard Mazda to get the exact CX 5 I want at an even better price than I what was discussed over the phone. Looks like the Star Mazda manager was right, we shouldn’t buy from them and go to Oxnard instead 💯👍🏽
The sales and service departments are excellent. They treat the customers well...have a nice waiting area with good amenities. The personnel have a very nice and respectful demeanor.

Went in due to vibration in steering. I was guessing balance and/or allotment. Fast (as any maintenence can be) and courteous. If anything just had to do the typical waiting (couple of hours). But, it really wasnt horrendous if youre understanding of that type of thing. Good prices too for new tire, balance and alignment.

Bought a car here. I got five star service. Also, I got a great deal! Francisco (sales) was honest, upfront, and accommodating. John (manager) was fair, friendly, and professional. John (finance) is a very reasonable person. All the staff that I talked to (I didnt get all their names) were friendly, courteous, and helpful from start to end. In times of this pandemic, everyone was wearing a mask, but you could still see them smiling behind their face coverings. I recommend this dealership.

Went there in Nov 2020 to check my 2015 Mazda 6. They indeed did a mechanic check for me, but the process was not pleasing. First, the guy who was responsible for my car was nowhere to find during the process. Then, after the check, they recommended me to do some unnecessary “fix” of my car. I went to another mechanic shop for a second opinion, and they suggested not to do something that works some fine. Not recommend this place.

I received my parts when they said I would. I found a part cheaper here than what the local autozone and oreilly had it. So shop around, you never know who will have it cheaper. This is not to say all their parts cost less but its a start.

Glendale Mazda is very clean, organized and efficient! They have COLD soda vending machines which come in handy when waiting!! Team member Refugio (RC) Casas, in the Parts Department was very knowledgeable about the Mazda Parts & Accessories & offered excellent service! This was my 1st time visiting, since my local Alhambra Mazda closed due to Pandemic and I will visit Star Mazda again!
Was car shopping a couple of days ago as a graduation gift to myself seeing as I graduate in 2 weeks and after months of research I was deciding between a Mazda 2020 and a Toyota 2020. After the great customer experience at the Toyota dealership I was really excited to swing by and check out the Mazda Ive been eyeing, just to be turned away. I was told by an older gentleman at the dealer I couldnt go out for a test drive because I needed full insurance. Even though I had full insurance he stated it didnt cover a Mazda and that my insurance was cheap. He also told me it was necessary since he would not be accompanying me in a test drive (all of which I found extremely weird). To top it off, when settling to just ask questions about the car; I asked if they had any discounts available for the 2020 model. He declined to tell me about their student discount and new year loyalty program. Only let me know of military and essential worker discounts. He promptly apologized and dismissed me. The whole time he also spoke while having his mask under his face. This experience made me not want to purchase from this dealership anymore, which is a waste because I was leaning more towards the Mazda. Just needed a test drive to solidify my choice.
We drive both our cars across town to have them serviced at Star Mazda. Theyre honest and thorough - Ive never left there feeling taken advantage of or like my time was wasted. Craig Chan - special shout out to you for taking extra special care of us today!
I have leased 3 cars in a row from this place. Ive never felt taken advantage of and always felt like I got a good deal. The sales staff arent pushy like some spots and Mazdas are pretty rad cars anyway.
The service is super friendly. However, the last time I got an oil change they didn’t top off my fluids and I ran out of windshield wiper fluid in the middle of a trip to the desert. They also did a tire rotation and put the nut onto the bolt crooked which resulted in the bolt breaking off and costing me $140 to fix.
I was hoping this would be where we would get our mazda serviced from now on but theres no customer service. It was a strange experience and I wont be going back.

I usually dont post. However, I have to publicly commend the Parts and Service department of STAR Mazda. About 6 months ago, the shifting cable of my Mazda 2012 323 began to wear, making it difficult for me to shift. The part was not available through my personal mechanic. I called Star Mazda and the Parts department including Genaro and Mike went well out of their way to locate the part. They called the corporate offices, after market sources, other dealers. The part was not available and there were supply chain issues. In the meanwhile, the service department staff, in particular, Nathon, was incredibly understanding and went out of their way to try to help. I was granted a loaner car until the car could be repaired. I have been in a loaner car for 6 months! Finally, the part has come in and I picked up the car today -- yay!The effort of all members of this dealership to help with this problem cannot be overstated. They were understanding and gracious. Although the situation was inconvenient, their ability to resolve the problem and the service offered throughout were extraordinary. Thank you!

This place is a rip-off. Theyre charging 4 percent for. using a credit card ! What? Youre expected to pay for auto service with cash ? Such sleezeballs ! And the didnt even wash my.car. Only came back here because Alhambra closed down. I could write a book on the miserable experiences I have had at Star over last 15 years.
Where do I start with my experience at Star Mazda in Glendale. As a first time car buyer, I was very new to the ins and outs of what it meant to shop, test drive, and negotiate for the car I wanted. After searching many other brands and dealerships on the Brand Auto Strip, I found a car at Star Mazda that I thought fit me well. The Salesman at Star Mazda, Francisco, worked with me to get the exact model I preferred while providing genuine and honest feedback about the car and other cars that he was aware of on the market, regardless of if it helped his case. This completely relieved the fear that I was being SOLD to rather than buying the car I wanted.We continued through the Sales process, where I worked with the Sales Manager, John, to arrive at a mutually beneficial deal for both sides. The negation was straight forward and professional making me feel relaxed and confident that once again I was not being SOLD to but rather buying the car I wanted.Lastly, Star Mazda did something that will stick with me for the rest of my life. After finally purchasing my car with Star Mazda on Sunday, I was diagnosed with an illness that changed the course of my life on Tuesday. I reached out to Star and let them know my situation as the illness would be removing my ability to drive/use a vehicle. Star Mazda showed the utmost empathy and understanding for my situation and reversed the deal, allowing me to return the car and receive a full refund. Rather than worrying about money or profit they genuinely understood what it meant to do the right thing in an incredibly stressful time for my family and I.I really cannot say enough about this dealership and its staff. My used car search took me through a few different cars, dealerships, and options. Kyle Groom at Star Mazda was consistently impressive with his knowledge of all the vehicles and did not bombard me with continuous calls or messages about coming back. He was easy to work with and along with the rest of the team made my car buying experience quite easy.
I purchased my car here back in April of 2019. Though that experience was neither good nor bad. Subsequent interactions with the dealership have been extremely poor. The GM of the dealership, someone who at the end of the day should have the power to make things right in the interest of the customer, failed to step up to the plate. This action in and of itself should speak to any potential new customers. You get what you pay for. Dont ever expect this dealership to have your best interests at heart. If I were you I would look elsewhere to purchase or service your vehicle.

I come in every 6 months for service, and its always been a pleasant experience. They tell me how long it will take, and I usually walk off to the Americana shopping area while I wait. They give me a text when to come back, and when I do, I get a very thorough, easy to understand report on my cars status - and my car washed as well.
Bought the prepaid service and every single time I am here, i wait for 3h or more for it to be done. Their car service also is exclusive to this place only, so if you plan to buy a car here but live far, dont do it. They will take forever.
After purchasing my car here 8 years ago, I have returned for every service. The friendly employees always treat me with respect and do their best to address my concerns. This past service was an issue with a warning light that appeared for me but that would not stay on when being tested, so no code could be pulled and no repair could be performed. David Gomez and also the Service Manager Roy Wells, listened to my concerns and didnt stop until the problem was diagnosed and I felt confident in my car once again. My experience at this dealership has always been above my expectations and I highly recommend Star Mazda for either car sales or service.

I have always been a Honda/Acura driver. However, this time around I was a first time buyer and I was keeping my options open. Even so, I had started off at Norm Reeves expecting to end up with a Honda. However, I did not find what I needed- service and product wise. So as I ventured out to explore my options I ended up at Star Mazda with no real expectations, but just a willingness to explore. To my pleasant surprise Francisco and Star Mazda made this visit into one that did not disappoint. In fact, immediately I knew this was where I’d be making my purchase. Both professional and accommodating, Francisco was patient and thoroughly informative in assisting me to choose the perfect car for me. He continued to follow up on any information that was needed until the day of purchase. The entire process could have been difficult and unpleasant, but Francisco made sure to make this a memorable and great experience, causing me to want to return and refer other customers as well. The overall environment of this establishment was inviting and friendly unlike most, if not all car dealerships. I’m grateful to have found this dealership and even more grateful to have ended up with Francisco as my sales associate.
Mazda was not first on our list, but after more research a test driving several vehicles we found the CX-5 to be best for us. It is comfortable, technology advanced with a good safety review and it is a fun car. Ron our sales associate was very helpful, was not pushy and answered all of our questions. He also helped us get the best deal possible. If your are looking at Mazda, I recommend asking for Ron at Star Mazda in Glendale.
I was in the market for a new Mazda3, and had been researching prices and models available at various dealerships. Star Mazda had the one that I wanted, and it took just a few emails and phone calls with Sophia to work out a deal. She was super nice and accommodating, the whole process was efficient and transparent. Everything just worked out well and I’m glad I chose this dealership for my new car.

Found the car I wanted on their site, called Nick, filled out the paperwork online and drove away with my new car in no time. It was a pleasure dealing with the rest of the staff, as well. I was in a not-at-fault car accident that left me unexpectedly car-less before an upcoming vacation. The accident left me panicked about my next step until I called Edita. Edita not only welcomed me in like a supportive family member, she made the entire process comfortable and fun. I never felt pressured. She listened and understood exactly what I was looking for and came through with the perfect car for me. We even ended with a dance party to celebrate my purchase and test out the awesome Bose speakers. Don in Finance was also very helpful and walked me through the paperwork and answered all of my questions. Best car shopping experience ever!!
Ahead of leaving for a cross-country drive, I had a number of issues with my tire pressure and the tire pressure alarm of my Mazda 3 car, owing to the fact I had been out of town and had not driven it for an extended period. I took it by Star Mazda, where I was greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic member of the maintenance team (didnt catch his name but this was 4:30pm on Nov 16, 2018). He was very polite and thorough in his explanation of how he could help, and soon had the issue resolved, recapping his process and educating me on the related car systems. Really impressed by how helpful this gentleman and the whole team are. Thanks!

Star Mazda was awesome. I needed to be dropped off and picked up from work which can be interesting if you are relying on any regular dealership, but at Star everything went perfectly. I got everywhere I needed to be on time, oil change, tire rotation, alignment check and filters replacement were all finished in plenty of time before I needed to leave, and my car was squeaky clean inside and out.
Knowing what I wanted, I walked in to the dealership and dealt with some pretty awesome people. From the sales department, to the finance, to be hard-working guy that prepped my car to take off the lot – everyone was so friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of at all, like I did at a previous dealership.
Absolutely such a delight with these people. John was my sales rep. Use him hes honest and real. I can see why everyone here is honest and genuine. The sales manger Steve is a real gem. I bought a brand new Mazda 3. So happy

Went in for a 50,000 Mile Service. Love how helpful they were! I went in for an oil change and Craig was super helpful, was not pushy, and extremely knowledgable. I have gone to other dealerships before and they try to push additional services that I know I dont need on me, and its overwhelming - however Craig walked me through the service package he felt was best for my car and answered all my questions, giving me the opportunity to talk through what services I actually needed (of course backed with his professional opinion). Craig even arranged for me to be taken back to work and picked up from work when my car was finished. This made the whole experience even better since I was able to leave my car and go about my day. I received updates on my vehicle via text while I was working, and picked it up when I was ready! Amazing service.

I recently ordered a Miata and worked with Kyle on a direct order to the factory in order to get the trim level, options, etc. I wanted. He was great to work with! There was a few months wait due to ordering from overseas which was normal and no problem for me (its my dream car, I can hang in there!), and then with COVID a bit of a delay for the car getting to the dealership. Kyle kept me up to date so I never had to worry, and I wasnt in a hurry since I wasnt exactly driving much. When I came in to take delivery of the Miata everything was straightforward, I got a great deal on the car and financing, and he even drove it home for me since Im re-adjusting to driving stick and had a bit of a distance to go. They also left the plastic on per my request so I could detail my new baby myself. I really appreciated those extra touches that made me feel like they care about my business. The only thing Id say is that the finance dept will try and sell you the extras (warranty, prepaid service, etc.) which any dealer will of course, but its a pretty soft sell at Star, they break it all down for you, and theyll work with you if you want a particular amount of years on things. Personally, I did go with some of the extras and I feel good about it to keep the car in great shape and my own peace of mind. Overall, a better experience than Ive had at any other dealership. I am so overjoyed with my new car as I get better and better at driving it! Do yourself a favor and test drive a Miata next time youre there ;)PS - In light of COVID-19 the dealership is having everyone wear masks, they seemed to be sanitizing regularly from what I saw, theres hand sanitizer available as well as outdoor seating, and they dont come with you for test drives. Lots of good measures being taken, and I felt the risk of being around others at the dealership was mitigated as best they could.
Came to Glendale to buy a Toyota and left with a Mazda CX-5 Touring! After dealing with so many different salespeople at different car dealerships, Ron was the most personable and down-to-earth. He made the car buying process effortless and pleasant and even comedic! I recommend this dealership, and especially Ron as the salesman. There are many reasons I came back to the Mazda brand a couple years ago. Kyle Groom drew me in with his superlative salesmanship, and the service department keeps me coming only to Star Mazda to keep my 3 humming along. Nathon was my service rep this time around and definitely lived up to my expectations!
From the moment we stepped into the dealership we were treated very well by all the staff, and after dealing in other dealerships with other sales people that day, our Mazda Sales guy was a breath of fresh air. Israel, took the time to answer all our questions, was very professional, not pushy, definitely not your typical sales person We got a car that day! Mazda CX-5, and we LOVE it! Our highest recommendation goes to Star Mazda in Glendale and specially to our sales guy Israel! If you can, make sure you do business with him, you wont regret it.
I could have bought a car anywhere but after leasing my last CX5 through Star Mazda, I decided to come back and get another one when my lease was up. Mazda is a great brand and Ive found the quality to be fantastic. This decision to come back to Star was due to the great customer service. Kyle G. helped make the lease process on both my first, and now my second CX5, painless. Ryan S., the Finance Manager was great to work with as well. I get all my service checks at Star and the service dept. staff is top notch. Very friendly and courteous. I would recommend Star Mazda to anyone.
Friendly, responded to my circumstances, accommodated my changing decision and went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted, all with no pressure, just honest information. They made it very easy. An overall great buying experience.
First time visiting here.I came here for parts--which is located right at the service department drive-in area.Had no confusion purchasing the part I needed for my car.Just tell the guy at the counter what part you need and your cars year and model, take the invoice paper her gives you to the payment counter right next to it(female) and pay for it.

I have been going to Star Mazda for over two years, since I moved to Pasadena and started leasing a car with them. My experiences there have always been positive -- I feel taken seriously, and treated fairly. I would recommend them (and have!) to friends and family. David Gomez in particular has always made me feel taken care of; I really trust him to get the job done right, and quickly.
If you want a place where they are not practicing safety during this pandemic, this is your place! Went to test drive, the vehicle was not clean/sanitized and the salesman didnt now how to wear a mask. Then he told me Covid-19 was a conspiracy. - !The car smelled like burnt rubber when i started driving and got worse until it smelled like a fire .The salesman told me it was just new car smell! Unreal. Stay away!
I purchased my Mazda at a different dealer in the LA area. I grew tired of the poor service so I decided to go to Star Mazda. The very first visit I was impressed. They kept me updated about the status. I love the fact that they use an SMS system to send updates as well.
To be clear I had a wonderful experience with the salesman Brian Kim but had issue with Ryan in financing and the general manager John. Ryan in financing tried to add $3000 for gap insurance. I declined and was told I could get a lower APR if I add gap insurance at just a dollar more a month but the price of car will not change. It didn’t make sense, I asked again no additional cost of price given for the car. I go to sign and there is $998 additional cost to car for the gap coverage. I again decline and said I asked you a couple of times about the cost not changing. He says his mistake I will take it off. Then I was given 5 days when signing agreement that I can go with their loan or my banks. I wanted my banks loan. Ryan in financing was not sending correct information on buyers contract. Was taking 3 days to try to get info to bank. Finally spoke with general manager John and he tries to upsell me the car by $1,147 saying I would have a lower APR. This dealership is a nightmare! Worst experience I have ever had buying a car.
Theyre very friendly, of course. Theyre good and keeping you up to date on the progress of the work via text. They also provided car service to and from home. I bought a service and maintenance contract so thats probably a factor in the latter consideration. The quoted price of about $80 seems very reasonable for an oil change and a variety of inspections. Also, they always wash the car.But, the best thing about the dealer is that they sell Miatas.

Lets be honest, the car buying experience is usually miserable. But this was by far the best experience Ive ever had purchasing a new vehicle! Kyle was a real pleasure to work with, we arrived at a fair price VERY quickly (no back and forth with managers or the usual stalling Ive experienced at every other dealership through the years), and he made the process very smooth. Financing desk with Ryan was an equally pleasant experience - I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes.This is my first Mazda after having a string of Kias, Hyundais and Ford vehicles, and will absolutely be a Mazda fan for a long time. Not only do you get an insane amount of features for the money, but this particular dealership was a treat to do business with - everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming.
Loved the service! Eddie, my sales person, did an outstanding job getting me a good deal! He even helped wash my new car so I can enjoy the rest of my weekend! I was unsure of which car to choose and he went over all the options with me. We are very happy with my new Mazda 3!

I worked with Kyle when buying my brand new 2019 CX-5. When working with Kyle I didn’t feel like I was working with someone who was trying to sell me a car, but rather assist me in finding the correct car that fit my needs and budget. He explained every piece of paperwork that I had to sign during the buying process. Rather than trying to find ways to benefit his sale, Kyle actually find a way to lower the overall cost of the car! When everything was signed and I had the keys in my hand, Kyle voiced that if I had any questions at all to email, text, call him at anytime.

This dealership has always worked above and beyond to assists us with the cars and assistance with the car loan and offered all kinds of discounts and also with all our car service from oil change and other services. Edward is our go to guy for oil change and tire rotation. Star Mazda the friendliest for both dealership and service.

He gave me the exact break down of the numbers over email and the final payment amount was the same when I went to the dealership; no trickery, no hidden agenda! He showed me all the available cars and was very patient in explaining all the minute details. The accountant and the manager were very friendly and worked within my budget for a car. I had my Red Mazda 3 checked for the car heater, wiper change and key batteries replaced. I would like to commend my service advisor David Rooke who took time to help me and educate me regarding my car. Ive had cars of every make/model over the years. Dealer service has always been terrible until dealing with Star Mazda in Glendale, CA. Roger Dominguez has managed my account/service the last 3 years and has been great to work with. He deserves all the praise and accolades and any performance based incentives that are available. If Roger was to go to another dealership, Id probably end up buying a car from them.
I have only gone here once to take care of a factory recall repair but the service was excellent. They explained the work needed and answered all my questions. The online reservation system needs work. If you make a reservation confirm by phone as i got emails with wrong day.
I am the happiest person. I came here all the way from Palm Springs and it was so worth it. My sales men Pablo Vazquez was amazing and super friendly. This place has the best team ever. Even tho some where busy with their own customer everyone still talked to offered you drinks and TV for the little ones. Time flew by as I got the car that I went for. Ive been coming to Star Mazda in Glendale since I moved to California six years ago. I have always received the best and most friendliest service every time. The staff here have really gone above and beyond for me on several occasions and I am truly grateful. Nathon is amazing and hes my go to guy when I visit the shop! I also enjoy getting rides to the mall with José who is extremely attentive. I really look forward to getting my car serviced here every six months and as needed.
My husband and I stopped in to check out the new Mazda 3 and take it for a test drive, we were unfortunately paired with Matteo as our sales representative. He rushed us into a test drive, wouldnt tell us basic features of the car, and then pressured us to purchase a car immediately after finishing our test drive. He didnt let us look at any of the features of the car while it was on, and while we were test driving the car he insisted that it was too complicated to tell us how to use basic functions on the car, such as the adaptive cruise control, so he set them for my husband. I absolutely will not be returning, nor will we be purchasing our car through this dealership.
Nathon Madison, service advisor was incredible. The location is clean and efficient but the customer service received was phenomenal from Nathon and probably the single reason regardless, why I’ll be coming back to get my Mazda worked on here.
