Total rip off do not go there they are taking advantage of the high lumber prices I went to 84 lumber and saved over $5,000

I needed a price on a certain type of plywood.. guy says he can’t help unless I know what kind it is.. if I knew what kind it was I wouldn’t be there asking for it.. I said I needed to look at it to say this is it.. he say we can’t have anyone walking in the yard. That’s fine I get that, what about here are some samples which do you need.. nope didn’t even try didn’t even seem like he wanted to be there.. you can’t expect everyone that goes in there to know the name of all your products common sense ALLIANCE LUMBER..

Took over 5 weeks to quote a lumber package, then they erroneously constructed the floor trusses and claimed zero responsibility. Refused to agree to any sort of concession whatsoever. Refused to discuss over the phone only would send empty excuses via email. Clearly didnt follow the elevations on the plan set then hide behind a partial detail and disclaimer in their paperwork. Additionally, the lumber take off was inaccurate and couldnt get the missed lumber quickly so we had to go directly to their suppliers.

Very reasonably priced and great service but theyre wood quality can be sometimes hit or miss. Other than that they are a great company and have very friendly knowledgeable employees. Customer service I would give them 5 star rating. Sure beats home Depot or any other lumber yard.

My order was not very large so I was treated poorly and given many culls And would that look like dunnage when I questioned that high of a percentage of bad wood and a load I was told so what if you want to fancy lumber you have to special order when I ordered I asked for complete lumber not missing one side or split on the ends or still had bark on them I do not think I will return to alliance for anything unless I have $1 million order where I may be treated like a person

Called in and talked with David Bryant. What a nice guy took the time to listen to my needs and had my order all taken care of in a few minutes. Stopped in later that day, pay the bill and was out the door. Early the next day David gave me a call. My order was ready for pick up.

Talked to a hardware sales guy who said I could come by the counter to pick up some hardware... I called the hardware desk 30 min before close. They didnt answer, but I drive 45 min from Buckeye based on the sales rep and everything saying they close at 4pm. I got there 5-10 min before close but they left early. The rest of the employees were useless and werent willing to sell me the $100 in bolts I needed for a job in the morning. This place does not want business and does not appreciate customers. Lucky I got my truss at Truss Fab who has been awesome!! If you want good lumber and good service go across the street let these guys go out of business... Apparently that is what they want.

Just called Alliance Lumber and the gentleman that answered sounded very rushed. I asked him if he had a minute for a few questions. He paused and said, not really. Wow, not even a can I put you on hold and get back to you, or even an offer to take my number and call me back. Business must be good to turn someone away. Who wants my lumber business? It shouldnt be too hard to find someone. Wow, really?

Best Customer Service in Town!! I called in for a price they took a little bit long they provide it me with a quote...when I went in PERSON they took care of me in seconds!!!! They are very busy and always in a hurry to take care of the clients. I love their prices....next time I need a quote again I will just show up :)

Clearly a commercial/large contractor/builder only lumberyard. I am an advanced DIY woodworker. I am retired and my full time hobby is building furniture, kids’ toys and gadgets. I have found that the big box stores do not carry the lumber or types of wood I need, so I have begun a systematic exploration of lumber companies. Alliance Lumber looks like a very complete lumber yard for large scale contractors and/or builders, but clearly is not equipped for small retail customers like me. It would be zero-stars for me—this store is not meant for people like me, but could well be 5-stars to large scale operations.I did call before I went and they said over the phone that they did retail business, but that’s a stretch forsure.
