Nice baklava shop a few doors down from Zankou Chicken. Although Zankou has baklava, I always come here for some bakalava dessert while they prepare my food order at Zankous.Service is always very prompt and friendly. They do a great job when I have questions about all the different baklavas. The baklava is very fresh, crisp, flaky, and very flavorful. I never go in with a specific plan, but just order about a dozen of various ones. Everything looks so good, so can never remember what I ordered the last time. I dont mind as has never been disappointed. Overall through, my favorites are the pistachio ones. They are naturally sweet, but dont have the overwhelming sweet taste.I wish I could give personal recommendations of which are the best, but I randomly pick different ones. Highly recommend trying all the different baklavas as you wont be disappointed.

I live in houston and this was my first time to visit this place and it was superb,the owner was nice and very accommodating even offered us a sample.Will definitely be back!

The baklava was pretty good (no complaints at all), but the sales lady was very rude! She flat out said don’t ask me questions and order (not that the place was busy - I was literally the only one in the shop). Dont like walnuts in your baklava? Baklava Factory has other varieties with almond, cashew, pine nuts and pistachio. Also plain baklava -- just filo dough and syrup.u2028u2028The baklava costs $11 a pound.  I got a total of 8 pieces of 4 different kinds of pastries and paid $6.00.u2028u2028In order of preference:1) Almond Baklava -- this was my favorite of the four types -- a crispy baklava roll filled with crushed almonds and sweetened with sugar syrup scented and flavored with almond extract. u2028u20282) Mini Rose -- filo dough with cashews and pine nuts in the shape of layered rose petals.  This was flaky and the filling was moist and not too sweet. u2028u20283) Ballourieh pastry -- I havent eaten a dessert so heavily scented with rose since having rose petal ice cream at Polly Anns in San Francisco years ago. The Ballourieh has ground pistachio and rose water in it.  Kataifi filo dough looks like a white version of shredded wheat cereal.  Only for the adventurous. u2028u20284) Birds nest pistachio -- I love pistachio, but this was the least favorite of the four.  The whole pistachios filling the filo pastry nest tasted slightly burnt. u2028u2028Overall, I like the baklava pastries I got here. If what I had is any indication, the walnut baklava are probably pretty good here as well.u2028u2028Other pluses:  Place is open til 9:30pm everyday unlike other bakeries; all products are clearly labeled and described which is great for newbies; they dont skimp on syrup.

Their products are fresh and great tasting. The service is impeccable and they care about customer satisfaction. Prices are fair and reasonable.

Product arrived dry and stale. Attempted to contact customer service which based off other reviews I see they are lacking in. Got no response (big surprise). Setup dispute with credit card company, got my money back. Will not order again and will be sure to trash talk these guys every opportunity I get.

Love all of their deserts. Baklavas and Kuneffes are my favorite and this is the place I come to whenever I want deserts.

Outstanding baklava but over-priced. They charge more than any other baklava places within 50 miles. I sample baklava as a hobby because its my favorite dessert. BFs is the most moist and flavorful, but occasionally inconsistent. Quality is on par with Sarkis baklava, a few items are better, a few slightly inferior to Sarkis. But BF is not so much better in any category to warrant their high prices.

Great Baklava.

I went here twice spending $60 to $100 on cookies for the holidays. I was not happy with the woman who helped me the first time and thought she was rude. I went back a second time and a different woman helped me and was equally rude. Customer service is a huge deal to me when I give any company my business or refer business. I will not be doing either. I found a great place Armenian pastry shop down the road and the quality and service far superior!

Just received a tray as a gift. I may have to place a lock on the pantry to keep my wife and myself from eating the whole thing this weekend. By far the best tasting baklava we have ever eaten. Flavor, texture consistency........all there. I will order from these folks in the future and strongly recommend for all non diabetics!

Bad service, sketchy neighborhood, extremely high priced. I could have been ripped off, no prices stated. I told the clerk three times that I was paying for my older and my friends order and she still didnt ring it up as one order. The receipt was not itemized. My friend told the clerk two times what she wanted and the clerk still gave us the wrong items. The baklava was passable.

Wow, what a name! Baklava Factory. Well its pretty much that. Id say its above average quality. Ill give them credit. Their baklava is delicious. Of course its not going to be like authentic baklava from the middle east but close enough. They do have a great selection however their prices have skyrocketed over the years. Id prefer Sarkis Pastry... even more selection there and the best bang for your buck. If you are craving sweets though you could drop by to pick up a few, but for large orders I would not go here as it gets pricey fast. Oh yeah, parking can be a pain... Theres a Zankou Chicken next door and it gets very crowded.

Great place with unique pastries, home made turkish delight is on my list to try next time, im only taking out one star because the person at the counter was too fancy to take a dollar in change for an unclear reason. Safe to say that has never happened to me anywhere else. Sure change is cheap, but its legal tender whether its 4 quarters or 4 bills. everything else was great. but when things are great you cant help but notice the one thing that throws everything off. i can mention that possibly the register didnt accept change, thats the closest explanation i got before leaving. Either way id go back next time the pastries outweigh any inconvenience.
