I dont normally write reviews but I have to let others know not to waste their time at this place. I gave it 2 stars because I really like the selection of glasses they have but thats it.The staff has become rude, they dont care about the customers and the level of service is horrible. Go somewhere else!
Love this place very polite and very through.. never will I go back to Summerville what a joke..
I recently had to get some glasses after my stroke . I went to the vision center . I was very impressed with the selection and the help offered. She was very patient with me . I would recommend them anytime.
Steve was beyond unprofessional. i came in to order some contacts for me and my sister after i spoke with him over the phone. He said that i could come in. when i came in he was rude. He started cursing me because my sister said she would have to cancel her contacts and how he should have never allowed me to come in to order contacts. i have never had someone talk to me in such a manner. After he saw me so upset he continued to talk down to me. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Had our whole family waiting three and a half hours for an 80 dollar pair of contacts that werent even the right prescription. Didnt even show him how to put them in before rushing us out so they could close. We got there at at 3pm. They close at 6. Will NEVER come back.
I am giving this office a three. This is because the first time I went with my daughter, we were greeted, our appointment was on time, the Dr. was knowledgeable and we were able to use our insurance with no hassles. Today, however, was a different experience. Again, we had an appointment, arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and make sure the insurance was still accepted. The office was filled with people waiting for appointments and some walk-ins. There was not enough seating for all and many were left standing. Forty minutes after our appointment, I approached the desk and asked how much longer the wait would be. We were told we would be seen soon. Another ten minutes and a lady from behind the desk helped my 4 year old son through the prelim exam and then we were just left. So we sat down. We saw people who had come after us breeze through the pre-exams and were now seeing drs (of which there were two). I went to the desk, as we had now been waiting over an hour past our appointment and were told that they were backed up but we would see the Dr. soon. I explained how people who had come in after us had filled out paperwork and were seen before us, had already finished and left, maybe the Dr. could call us with the results?. There was no answer other than the Dr. overhearing us and stating that she would see us now. I went in, but my eldest daughter, who is 20 and was sitting in the waiting room, overheard one of the receptionist/optometry assistants say She is sure impatient. (Actually, I was told the words were more harsh but I will not repeat them here). I have two problems with this. My time is just as important as anyone else, hence why I make appointments. When I have to wait over an hour to see a Dr., it is irksome to have others walk in, fill out paperwork and then get seen. I am a paying customer and this is not for free. Yes, I had a small child needing an exam, but to see the Dr. walk back his file to the front and see another person, made me a bit concerned. I am allowed to ask why I have to wait an hour, and another adult patient only 20 minutes, without the staff remarking about my concern to the front desk and to all in the waiting room. This experience was so different from my first, that they should be happy that this was not my first as I would then never use them again. However, all can have bad days, all can have too many people walk in and clog the system. I get that, but to have staff talk badly about a client when the client is in the room, that is beyond the pale. So be glad, Walmart Vision and Glasses that I am giving you a three and not a two. Maybe work a bit on customer service and expectation management of wait times would be my high recommendation.
Friendly, accommodating, and connected. Thank you for looking out for those who serve and have served.
Great experience friendly people and overall it’s a great place
Hey guys. Next time a customer calls and asks you to fax a prescription to another store, instead of writing the information down and agreeing to do so, politely let the customer know that, technically, doing that is not your job and you would have to transfer them to the eye doctor or walk the information over. That way, when the customer calls back the next day wondering why the prescription was never faxed, they dont hear the that isnt our job spiel. Too bad I like the optometrist, or I wouldnt ever step near the vision center.
I was highly satisfied with Dr. Diane she was great!!! Ms.Linda was great also. Very friendly staff.
The doctor was friendly and easy to talk with. I highly recommend going here.
This place is a joke!! How do you only have one person working when theres 10 people needing help!!! You shouldnt call someone and tell them their glasses are ready to be picked up if you dont have enough staff to even grab them!!
Dr. Diane took her time and was overall professional. She listened and made me feel comfortable.
