This is our go-to music store. We have rented 1 violin, purchased 2, unknown number of violin bows and the random repair here and there. Of course, music & lesson books as well. Always helpful & friendly and offers advice & suggestions that have been key to our decisions.
Customer care is amazing here. Very knowledgeable.
Great repair job on my brass instrument. Good selection and very helpful staff.
Went for some repair, service was super fast, very nice behavior, and they didnt charge me a $. simply wow!
Always great service! Thanks for helping Centennial Band!
Great place! Super helpful!
New,location is bigger and perfect!
Wonderful service from the man at the counter today when I was buying a flute for my daughter. The flute was of very high quality and the free instrument ID tag was a nice bonus. I did not however appreciate a woman, who may have been an employee, manager, or owner, who came over to the check-out counter within 6 feet of me, unmasked while I was making my purchase. Her disregard for my personal safety as a customer was not appreciated.
Never been inside, never visited, doesnt have voice-mail to leave message
Just beginners stuff and acoustic, nice staff
In response to Traci, I would like to personally appologize. The last couple of months have been somewhat difficult with the passing of our leader and I have no doubt that her experience was less than exceptional. I would like to think (hope) that we are getting better every day and continue to improve. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Very little selection
I needed my sax fixed while on tour. Roper found me a part and got me back on the road quickly. Fantastic service. Great store.
Very helpful! You can tell that everyone that works there is passionate about what they do, and they do it well. Daughter broke a string on violin and not only did they replace it, but tuned it as well with giving great tips to a new player as they were working on it.
Awesome friendly staff, answered all my questions, very knowledgeable
Mostly friendly place that serves all of my woodwind needs. wish there could be a better selection in pro instruments but most of the selection is good for a beginner-intermediate. I would not recommend this place for reeds though, very very expensive compared to most online prices and there is more brands to choose from online anyways if the wait is fine.
Theyve had everything my middle schooler and I have needed at comparable prices.
Roper Music has always been my go to place whenever I need anything musical.
Great people. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. Fast turnaround on our grandsons trombone, when repairs have been needed.
Roper is good if you’re looking for instrument repair or beginners music etudes and books. If you want instruments or instrument accessories, or more advanced music, the other music stores like JB Hart, Mesa Music, or Back Porch have more product options.
The staff here are consistently helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help us find what we need. Their rent-to-buy program is affordable and sensible, and they have different standards or instruments for rent, at appropriate prices. We are devoted customers.
Usually great service, this time took instrument in for repair, was told $85 and be ready the next day. 10 days later, after calling twice it was found. bill $95
Could not help me get the right Reed for my son and did not offer me much help on my payments! Seem way more snobby now than when I used them years ago.
Grandson has a school rental trombone. Mouth piece was sticking and the poor horn looked as if it was very tired. The staff at Ropers gave it a good cleaning and resolved the problem with the mouth piece. I swear the trombone sounds better. Happy kid and happy horn.
The gentlemanw spoketo is very friendly and very helpful. He was able to answer all my questions, since I do not know much about trumpets, and get me set up to rent a trumpet for my daughter. She is very pleased with it. Thank you so much Roper Music!
Love Roper Music, best place in town for your kids school instruments, they are very knowledgeable and always willing to help, plus they fix broken strings and other Maintenance and keep up
I went to get an instrument appraised and the owner could not give me the time of day to even look at it. He opened the case for 2 seconds and closed it with out even looking at the condition of the instrument (which is excellent). Offered me a low ball for what it is worth. Very rude and poor service.
Just rented a trumpet from Roper. They were fast friendly, and the instrument is beautiful!
They have an excellent selection of instruments and supplies and a knowledgable and helpful staff. They also have a large inventory of sheet music. They appear to be the go-to store for local schools and bands.
Best guys for band stuff in Western Colorado or.Eastern Utah
Good customer service and selection.Previous band teachers of the grand valley recommend it but sometimes it takes a while to orders to come in.
Good friendly service and selection of musical supplies
Amazing service!
Well informed, helpful staff with affordable equipment rentals.
Good service. And veru friendly and knowledgeable.
Best music store in the western slope.
Profession and quick estimate for time and affordable reasonable price to fix my cello bridge.
Very helpful fast and easy we rented a school instrument, great rental prices
Friendly help and fast service. Came here to get a piece on a violin reapired.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
Good customer services and friendly staff.
Great service great prices
Great local music and instrument repair store
Knowledgeable staff, very friendly and helpful
I play the viola and they tended to all my needs with no Hassel
Strange vibe. Poor customer service, high overpriced.
Nice little music store
Amazing staff, super helpful. Go to these guys!!
Bad customer service! They gave me the wrong pay off on my rental and then charged a late fee a month later. They wouldnt waive it and stated that they know they have bad customer service. Wow!Also, good luck having someone call you back if you leave a message (most times the voice mailbox is full so you cant even leave one). Not once did I get a call back.
Nice people but not the best selection of basic music equipment (for example, no slides for guitar).
My kids are second generation Roper customers...love this place!
Has all instrumental needs.
Rip off - their lack of patience with me has cost me a few hundred dollars, but it will cost them my business for life and perhaps others as well. Get your instruments elsewhere.
Nice place, knowledgeable staff!!
Wanted to rent for a couple months before I purchased an instrument but was told that service only available to students.
Exceptional service thanks
Terrible customer service. I will never return.
Super friendly staff
Great music shop
They helped me with what i needed
