First of all I dont think this company is professional at all. They would take forever to get back at you just to tell you the obvious. The reps dont even know the brand of caps used, they lack knowledge. Full of excuses. If you want a headache and your screws stripped take it to this place like I said not professional at all. Theres others out there that would be better. Not coming back or sending customers again. VERY disappointed!!

Took my ECM for my 2006 Lexus GS 430. Where it had a hard down shift from the second to the first gear. They had poor communication took it in on a Saturday they said it would take 2 to 3 days. I had to contact them on Thursday and they stated they were behind and had not looked at it yet. They should be done by friday. So I called them on Friday and I was told that there was nothing wrong with the ecm. Of course I had to pay the $100 fee for them supposed ly looking at it. Long story short I sent my ECM to a company in California and they had it turned back to me in a day and they fixed the problem for $149sent it tues afternoon was back to me by monday of next week). This company was going to charge me like $350 tosupposedly fix it. I really dont even think that theylooked at it. what a scam stay away...

This place is comically bad at communication and promises. You basically have to keep detailed records of what they say just so they can give some information that ends up being wrong when you follow up the next day. A lot of days I end up wondering if they even still have the part. Go literally anywhere else if you can.

Worth place ever, scam organization, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Found them online, i was need another ECU programmed to my VIN code for my car, i called them and they confirmed by phone, that yes for 320$ they will program new replaced ECU for me and will ship to me, GUY SAID IT IS PLUG AND PLAY and you ready to go, i asked again, do you need my OEM ecu in order to reprogram replaced one? He said: No we just need your car VIN code thats it. After few days i have received ECU but it was not programmed, i called to them and ask, why you shipped to me just replaced ECU which is also was wrong part number, than it is not programmed???? This guy responded: We not program ECU, this is buyer responsibility to program ECU!!!!! I said whaaaaaat???????? I called you and discussed my problem and you told me that will ship to me programmed ECU, but now saying this is not your business????? Scammers. Ok, than i tried to program this unit by my cost in dealership, and they told me wrong part number and need exact same ECU with OEM part numbers in order to be programmed. So i called them and said i want to return your ECU and get full refund. This guy said ok ship it back to me we will see. So i shipped thru Fedex this ECU back to them. Sent few emails, made few calls, no any response. Than some guy picked up a phone and switching to accountant, but accountant auto answer said that she will be out of office till April 22nd, and i am calling May 1st. :)))) THIS IS JUST LOWEST LEVEL SERVICE SCAM BUSINESS, I WILL TAKE ATTORNEY ANT SUE THEM, I DO NOT CARE, WORTH WORTH PEOPLE AND SIMPLE SCAM........NEVER PLEASE NEVER GO OR DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Used to be a great place and very friendly until this Jordan guy says we don’t diagnose the computer you have to tell me what’s wrong and I’ll ONLY fix/repair what you tell me. That’s why I brought it in you guys always checked it out and repair what needs to be repaired hence the $75 dollars you charge me to check it out? We don’t know what’s wrong with it that’s why I brought it . We are not doing this now we are short on staff and don’t have the time to full repair fix diagnose then why charge us the $75? You could have been a bit more friendly we sent you at least 5-10 a month and never had an issue till today. Maybe we’ll look for someone else now

I cant speak on the other guys giving 1 star and bad reviews BUT all I know is they came through very thoroughly, no arguing when a replacement they gave me started to fail A MONTH later they replaced it no questions asked. I feel like that spoke volumes, it had been a MONTH and they gave me no non sense, fixed my pcm and my truck is on the road. I appreciate their work and all theyve done 👍✊

Great place. I really like the customer service. They were really nice and helped me with all my questions that i had. The repair service i got was fast. I got mine rebuilt. You can also purchase one if they have it available or they can get one to you even if not available by ordering it. Great company and great people. A+.

After they flashed my replacement ECM with the new Vin, I have a new code that will not clear and a check engine light. The programming doesnt seem right, and I cant use the newer ECM. Thank God, I didnt let them program my original ECM, which has worked fine. I just wanted a spare on hand. Havent taken it back to see if they can correct the issue yet, will post again when I can get back to them. But the earlier reviews are not very promising. Be cautious

Very professional at what they do. Jordan and Abel were very helpful In helping me find a very hard to find ecm for my ford lightning. They did everything they could to try and rebuild my original but unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Just when I thought I was gonna have to part out my truck, They went the extra mile to help me get my truck back on the road. I recommend this company to anyone and everyone... dont believe all the negative reviews.

I had a 20 year old vehicle at my shop and AutoECM located a computer for it and shipped it to me. It turned out to be defective, and they got another one ready and shipped it Next Day Air, no charge to me. The new one works great. I dealt with Juana and she was very helpful throughout the entire job. I will definitely use them again, and do recommend them

Highly recommend. One of the few places I have experienced that actually stand behind their warranty. In trying to get my Ford F-150 running right, I ended up taking my ECM back for them to repair four or five times, all of which ended up being the fault of mine. Yet, these guys fixed it every time at no charge to me. I would go nowhere else. Jay up front was always courteous, helpful, and friendly when I came in the shop.

I usually don’t post reviews. But this time I am because I felt rip-off por communication and waste of time to be informed that the unit I sent for repair was ok. The reality they did not do nothing and they charged me 100 dlls for nothing. I hade the some unit fixed el sweet in Los Ángeles so That proved that ECM did nothing but waist emu time and money.

I sent my ecm to this company for diagnostics. They told me the processor was bad so it could not be repaired. This was not the case at all .The vehicle had another problem diagnosed by a very good mechanic. They refuse to refund any diagnostic fee. Stay away from these guys !!!

Absolutely the worst experience ever. I am not sure these guys can even spell ECU or PCM These guys are absolutely terrible. The only thing worse than their service is their communication. I could type for hours about how ridiculous this experience was. Do yourself a favor and never ever for any reason should you ever call these guys.How they remain in business is beyond me.

Sent my computer in to them, which had been previously rebuilt. It was still under warranty. They refused to honor the warranty since I’m not the original owner. They never gave me a follow up call so I was waiting around for 2 weeks for nothing.. bad communication overall bad experience

After finding out the ECM on my 2013 Ford F-150 went out, I ordered an ECM from this company. I was told the fastest route to get my truck running was to order a new one from them, which would be pre-programmed to my truck and a locksmith with the right program would be able to get it running.This is where the first problems started. I paid for overnight shipping and the ECU didnt arrive until 6 days later. Granted, the part had to be shipped to them, flashed, then shipped to me. This should have arrivein a few business days at most, versus 5 business days. Able, the manager indicated that there was a shipping issue from their supplier. They did not refund my the overnight shipping cost.The second issue was, the ECM was not flashed to my VIN as promised. When I called them about this issue, they indicated that they were clear that the dealer would need to program it to my VIN, as they didnt have the capability to flash the ECM to the VIN. I wouldnt have ordered this part, as I could have had the ECM from my truck repaired and sent back to me much more quickly.The next issue arrived when the ECM was found to either be bad, or not able to be programmed to my truck because the part numbers did not match. Auto ECM Electronics sent me the wrong computer for my truck, as this ECM was from a 2013 Ford F-150 XLT versus the F-150 Lariat I own. The dealer indicated that the ECM was not the correct part, they couldnt program it to make the vehicle run correctly and the truck would only run on 3 cylinders due to many codes.I called them, and they indicated they would take the return if I sent them back proof that is was their part, and not my truck. I purchased a 125 dollar (versus the 370 with overnight shipping form Auto ECM) from a junkyard, which programmed fine and the truck now runs perfectly.Auto Ecm is refusing to refund me as they are saying that somehow the ECM they provided was shorted out during installation. This wouldnt make sense, as nothing had changed between installing their ECM and the Junkyard ECM that worked fine. They indicated that it had been tested before being sent out, and therefore there was no way this could have been a bad ECM even though it was installed at the dealership.Dont trust this company. There are cheaper alternatives and at least in this case, they were not honest, wasted my time and hard earned money. Youd think that being a Texas company, they would have treated a veteran with a Purple Heart with more honesty.I now understand why when I first tried purchasing this ECM from Auto ECM with a Discover Card, it was flagged for security reasons. It sounds like theyve had enough charge backs to raise flags with Discover.

THIEVES. AVOID. I wish I could give 0 stars, after over a year of them having my ECM and not returning phone calls, I finally got my computer back after they said it was unrepairable and that they would issue me a refund, but they never did. Even after some manager confirmed a check was put in the mail, it never happened. They never gave me my refund. They took $415 from me and never did the job. Stay away from these people unless you want your money stolen.

I just came here to get my ecm fixed and the girl at the counter told me that they could not fix it because it is a 2 plug and not a 4. I have specifically called here multiple times to make sure that they can fix it. I told them the year make and model that it is for and they said they CAN fix it when we were on the phone. We asked why they didnt tell me that before and all that was said was sorry. My husband and I were angry that we drove an hour away to get here just to be turned away. The girl at the front desk LAUGHED AT US while telling us that she is SORRY. She is not sorry at all. They took 0 responsibility. You dont laugh in customer faces. Reporting them to the BBB.

I buy an ecm from auto ecm that the dealership said was no good took it back an again a bad ecm.....in the end I had to buy a new ecm from the dealership lost 700 dollars from the 300 dollar ecm and had to reprogram my key twice

Never returned my $50 core deposit despite numerous calls and voicemails (waste of my time). I had to resort to filing a dispute with American Express to get my money back (it worked, do the same if have this problem). They are either highly disorganized, or scam - not good in either case.Also initially sent me the wrong ECM, argued, later conceded that it was the wrong one and said they would ship out the correct once which they had in stock. Turns out they did not have it in stock and had to order it, which took over a week, but they never let me know while my car sat at my mechanic wasting time.Overall an unpleasant experience, will avoid in the future.

Believe the bad reviews. Its funny because the last name of the manager that i have been trying to get a hold of last name is Ahmed as well. (The reveiw below) i had the same issue It has been over 4 weeks since I ordered my pcm and still havent received it. I ask for a tracking number and they cant give it to me. I ask to speak to other people and they say they will call back but they dont. I would not orderanything from this company unless you are going to pick it up and deal with them directly.So now a couple months later I relies they didnt even refund me my full refund for a part I never received or anything. Dont deal with them at all.

I was handed my ECM back saying it was broken and they could not fix it. They proceeded to sell me another which took 3 tries to get the car to start and the same issue was occurring. They then proceed to tell me my car is broken not the ECU. Cant have it both ways, I refuse to do business with someone who lies to me. Its been over two weeks and over a dozen phone calls since I was promised a refund, hasnt arrived yet.

Did not get my PCM back and one of the connectors looked like it had been under water for at least a month... Light green corrosion on all the pins and several pins bent over at least 30° or more and muddy. Looked like it came out of a junk yard flood car.

Do not buy this companies product, they sell used parts as refurbished and all they do is spray paint them and put in your VIN. The unit we received indicated several DTCs stored on their own provided piece of paper. When asked why they stated it was just because the car was not connected when testing it, that is a lie, its because it is a used and defective part. Then when you return the next day for a refund of an ECU that was never installed they will refuse. They refuse to provide the owners info and Abel who says he runs the place and pretty much is the owner, the owner is retired will keep giving you the same line. He is not the owner and refuses to give the information to contact the owner. Read the detailed info below.I should have listened to the bad reviews but my customer was in a hurry and we didnt want to risk delaying their travel across the US another day unnecessarily so we bought the ECU while diagnosis was still being done by my technician. While gone my technician found that the cars issue was a grounded harness wire that had rubbed through causing the fault code. I went to pick up an ECU from them for a 2006 Ford Five Hundred. Pulling up I saw a guy in the shop spray painting ECUs but didnt think anything of it because many parts I get are repainted. I had been speaking to Juana about the ECU and cost would be $275.00 plus a $50.00 core charge. Ok no issue on par cost wise with an A1 Cardone rebuilt unit from Oreilly except available locally. I buy the unit after questioning them about the paperwork they have showing stored DTCs. They stated the DTCs were due to testing being done off car. Ok not to hard to believe. I get the part and haul tail because I am trying to get my customer back on the road.After arriving back at my shop I find that my technician has fixed the car and the ECU is not needed. Ok not a big deal I will do a return in the morning. So I stop and inspect the part and look it over for quality so I know what I am getting if I need them in the future(I will not be buying from them ever again now). Right out of the gate I can see why they spray painted it. It is to hide that the factory sealant for the ECU is still present. Comparing it to the factory ECU you can tell that the sealant is the exact same as the factory and machine applied. When applied by a person it is nowhere near as cleanly applied and the machine to do this is far bigger than this company can afford or fit in their shop. Then I begin looking everything over and realize that the unit is a beat up junkyard unit they pulled from a used car and just reprogrammed. No refurbishing done.I took it a step further since I am now stuck with a unit we no longer need, I connected it to the car and tested it out. As they say yes it needs to be reprogrammed on car to the PATS system but thats not all. Upon inspection all the DTCs present during the test done by them are still present connected to the car. Thats right ladies and gentleman, they sold a defective unit and knew it. It even has the killer code for ECUs a B1342 faulted ECU code comes up immediately with this car. I contacted Ford engineers to verify this should not happen even with the PATS out of sync. Auto ECM sold our company a defective used part and then refused to take it back. Had they issued a refund like we requested and like any other business I deal with does(sometimes with a restocking fee) when a part is not used we would have had no issues and this would have gone undiscovered. However thanks to their shoddy business practices we have discovered they are selling used parts repainted with spray paint and refuse to provide a refund when you catch them. Do not buy anything from this company.I am contacting the BBB to help resolve the issue and I am filing a complaint with the State for Fraud.

I phoned these folks &, was told that they could fix my computer for 2005 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl 4.0.They also told me that turn around time was 3 days. I spent $50 to overnight to them because I needed asap. It was past 3 days when they contacted me &, said they could not repair it. I have asked for them to pay the overnite expense & have gotten no reply.

RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF, I HAD SENT THEM MY COMPUTER TO BE REPAIRED AND THEY SAID THE PROCESSOR IS BAD AND IT CANT BE REPAIRED, SO THEY OFFERED TO SELL ME A REBUILT ONE WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY, SO I PURCHASED IT BECAUSE MY COMPUTER CANT BE REPAIRED, I BROUGHT MY CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE NEW COMPUTER IS NOT GOOD, THEY SENT ME ANOTHER COMPUTER ALONG WITH MY ORIGINAL BAD ONE THAT THE DEALER REQUESTED AND THE 2nd NEW ONE DID NOT WORK EITHER, SO THEY PUT IN MY ORIGINAL BAD COMPUTER AND IT WORKS FINE, THIS COMPANY LIES AND CHEATS EVERYONE, THERE WARRANTY WILL TELL YOU THAT WHEN YOU READ IT, RIP OFFS !!!!!!! $345.00
