I like this location but always busy. Right off I-20, and Great Southwest Pkwy. There is no slow time. I have bought tires there several times over nearly two decades. Happy with service. This recent visit was simply for air in a couple of tires. Super fast, courteous service. Pleased.

Went in to get a nail out of my tire. When they were taking off the tire they said the inside bead broke, it happens with older tires they said. Then he told me it was already that way when he took it off and it wont hold air. Well it was holding air when I brought it in except for slow leak where nail was. Talked to manager and he said he would loan me a tire until my new tire appointment on Friday, no discount for screwing up the tire I had. Needless to say I wont be keeping my Friday appointment or any other time at discount tire. They do not care at all!

I had an awful experience at this location. I would suggest going to another Discount Tire store.In short, I purchased new truck tires here and paid the full amount upfront, agreeing to come back for a scheduled appointment to have them installed. Upon showing up for my appointment, they informed me that they accidentally sold my tires and they would need to order more. After doing so, I came back for my second scheduled appointment and they treated me like I was an inconvenience. Instead, the sales associates were focused on selling more tires to potential customers. I guess they didn’t care about me since they already had my money.They didn’t offer to compensate me for my wasted time and I received a disingenuous apology from the assistant manger.I will NEVER return to this location. Save yourself the headache and spend your money somewhere else.

Staff was very helpful. Like any sales person they would rather sale you the most expensive tire, but are good with whatever you what. The staff actually explained the tread wear, which was very helpful.

It seems to me that they only care about finding ways to tell you No when it comes to fixing a tire. Ive had my vehicle in the shop before, for a fix and even then it was a hassle. This time the employee told me they couldnt fix it because of the rim size 24, mind you they fixed it the last time. Then they said they couldnt even install my spare tire which had never been used before because it was older than 10 years, the condition of the tire is NEW! All that could be done was add air to the tire. Back to back times the customer service has sucked.

Giving this place a thumbs up, they have the latest gadgets to check your tires now a days. Hunter my sales rep, was alot of help. He was able to locate me the best rate on tires and stay within my budget. It was quick and easy.

A1 Pit Crew Service, went in to get my tires rotated and balanced without an appointment on a friday afternoon and was blown away. I was out the door no lie less than 10 minutes. Fantastic job guys! This is why I choose Discount Tire.

Got some high rated Yokahoma tires at an excellent price. My dealership tried to sell le lesser quality tires for almost double the price. I suggest making an appointment online to get quicker service.

Discount Tire has to be hands down the best big company I’ve ever had the pleasure to do business with! I wish more companies, large and small would use their business model and philosophy to treat their customers. Discount Tire has always been consistently outstanding across the board from state to state and city to city, but I want to send a special shout out to my favorite and most regular location down here in Grand Prairie on I-20 off of Great Southwest. The one in Arlington on Collins across from AT&T stadium is also excellent. That is really saying a lot considering customer service is almost dead and gone most especially down here in Texas where folks routinely are no shows with no calls or explanations, argue back and forth with the customer, overcharge, misdiagnosis, …….. and every and any other poor customer service thing that you can imagine!Again my hats off to Discount Tire. They have a customer for life with the Livingston family. 👍🏿💯

Caught discount in the act of literally manipulating me into spending $140 on a tire that was covered. It was intentional. It was blatant. And if I werent intelligent, I wouldve been screwed. Discount Tire has unscrupulous business practices.

I could not be happier. Great experience. I had 1 blow out and the other type on the same side had a bubble. They were busy and told me it would be about an hour to an hour and a half, but actually ended up being about 45 minutes. After paying a good price for 2 tires I waited in the car while they put the new ones on. No stress and no hassle.

Broderick helped me by patching my tire. Staff was friendly/professional an efficient. I had to wait a bit by an oversight but I didnt mind because I knew I was in good hands!

I bought a tire from this discount tire several years ago. Its on a rarely used trailer stored inside. Today they refused to fix a slow leak because its several years old. Still is almost new tread. I bought a road hazard certificate. Apparently they are trying to dodge their warranty. Too bad, we have bought a 100 tires from them over the years & always got a road hazard certificate that has to be paid for. This isnot the 1st time. Very disappointed in my waste of money & trust. Even worse, I found they used a mfg date on the tire, rather than when I purchased it. Its a trailer tire...slow mover. How long did it sit at the distribution center before I bought it? What a rip!.

The gentleman that took care of us (the only one I saw wearing a red shirt) worked 5 times harder and 5 times faster than all the other workers combined. Once they got us actually in a bay, he had my tire off, checked, repaired, balanced and back on in about 15 minutes. Anytime he had to wait for something, he was doing other work. That sort of work ethic is priceless these days.

Had a good experience I was quoted a price because I asked for basic cheap tires was happy with it so I drove up there and then was surprised when a different gentleman showed me better tires for an even cheaper price cant beat that thank you

I was met in the parking lot by Darrius who had great customer service skills and made me feel very confident in my choice to go to this location for new tires. I feel like I got good deal, great service and they got me back on the road quickly. Definitely recommend this place.

No better place in the world to get your tires inflated or rotated or balanced or to get new tires. The service is exceptional. Many services are totally free. They have free water and coffee. The bathrooms are clean. If you have a baby on board both bathrooms have changing stations. The management and staff at this particular location are doing an amazing job.

I had a great experience at this store. Darrius was very friendly and great to talk to (and I hate talking to people). The shop finished installing my new tires after only 45 minutes when I thought the wait would be closer to 90. Im very happy with their service and believe I was treated fairly.

I had to share this commendable and honest customer service I just experienced. Without an appt, I stopped at Discount Tire because I found a nail in the tread of my tire. I am scheduled to travel out of town tomorrow and was scared to not address this nail/tire issue in fear I’d fly home and have a flat tire at the airport. The salesperson was honest with the wait time and I was appreciative for that, since they did have a lot of cars waiting before me which I’m sure all had appointments. When it was my turn the service attendant addresses my issue and advised me the bolt never punctured my tire and showed me how small it was, he went ahead and checked the pressure on my other tires and told me the service was free. Wow - he could have honestly told me anything from the tire needed a patch to needing a new tire completely. Thank you so much Discount Tire and your staff for your honesty!

My mom stopped by to have a low tire looked at on her Sante fe, she dealt with a guy named Arthur, he came out and looked told her the tires where worn out and by law could not remove the tire to look at it and put it back on. They were not even to wear bars on tires. Made her feel bad. So she left and came to my office, we took car to store on 303 and Nato, looked at tires and said he could fix tire or give credit on the tires and make her a deal on a new set. She purchased a new set. I wonder if she would of been treated the same at other store if i had been there.

I dont think I have ever been to bad discount tire. These guys are always pleasant and do really good work. They are always super busy and the waits can be a while if your not dropping off but I dont really blame them for that. Everybody else knows the secret too.

We called ahead because our 2015 Prius got a flat on the highway. They assured us that they would hold our 4 preferred tires. Unfortunately when we got there they did not have the promised tires because inventory had not been updated. They explained when 6 tires show on the computer they dont check with hands on the tires. Fortunately they had an alternative ready that happened to be 5 dollars cheaper per tire and fit well with the same brand/performance. We were in and out with 4 new tires within 30 minutes, I was very pleased overall.

I really have to thank the guys at Discount tire they are awesome. I know it takes a crew to be that fast. But I wanted to especially thank Hunter he is a very special polite young man. He was very close to closing and still help. He check and aired my tire and then put my spare on so I could drive and come back in the morning. Thank you thank you Hunter and your crew. Jonathan also did excellent work and speed to fix my tire in the morning and was out of there in minutes.

All around terrible.. showed up with a leaking tire that had a nail. Inflated it to 40psi and within a 5 min trip to this place it leaked to 26psi.. I told the guy it would be flat by the time they got to it and he said they couldnt inflate it to drive it into the work bay nor did they have any way of inflating it outside the bay which I found laughable being a tire business. so I left the car there without a choice knowing it would have to be driven on zero psi... After 3 hrs I called to see if it was done and it had been done for an hour but no phone call.. but whatever it got done never have to do it again right? Wrong!! I now have a slow leak on the same tire and have had to use my portable inflator everyday since it got done wrong 4 days ago... I will be trying a different location I would not recommend this location.. only good news is my wheel not seem to get damaged I took photos before and inspected it after.. hopefully the inside lip which isnt visible is not dmged

They did a good job fixing the flat on my Tesla Model 3. However, they didnt have the required Jack pad, but I had one in the car.

Usually have great experience with other Discount tires. This one leaves some to be desired more so than this particular one. Busy day. I’m prepared to wait. Needed to get tires balanced. Mind you I paid a $100 at discount tire to mount and balance these same exact tires. Exception. I bought new tires from discount tire in with its falls a couple years ago and kept these as they were still in good shape. Put these tires I had paid for back on the truck and wanted to get them balanced again. Having paid the $100 dollars to have them mounted and balanced already. I figured there’d be the balance fees required when you didn’t buy the tires from them originally. You could tell they were trying to discourage me getting my service done by them. As they kept talking about being busy and the wait. Then asked me what’d I’d be willing to pay. I laughed at this. Don’t you have set pricing? He came out after having discussed the fact that I had already paid $100 to get not only balanced and also mounted for these tires. After several minutes he came back saying it would be another $$100 dollars to just balance these tires. So. Please be aware. If they overcharge just to keep you from getting serviced at their facility when they think they are too busy. What kind of service are you actually getting? Is it worth the time and money spent to have someone work on a very important part of your vehicle that not only protects your ride, your life, family, children, and your ability to move around in your normal everyday life. Buyers beware.

Great tire place so fast too got two new tires and was out in like 15 min and i didnt even have an appointment!!

Terrible customer service. They tried to scam me by trying to charge me for balancing my front wheel even though I have bought the tires from them and had a warranty. One of the guys used a 17mm socket on my lugs nuts that required a specialty tool to be removed. He ended up getting the socket stuck to the lug nut and spent almost 10 min trying to hammer it apart. I would not recommend this location.

Terrible service when it comes to the free services they brag about at the time of purchase for new rims and tires. They will put you at the back of the line behind even people that came in after you. Waited for over an hour just to be told I’m still not next in line after seeing none of the vehicles that were there before me even in the lot. Bottom line don’t say you offer something if you’re going to do your best not to have to provide that service.

I’ve been to a few different locations of discount tire and I must say each one of those TAKES FOREVER . This location is amazing ! This is my 3rd time here and each time I’m in and out . Customer service is great and the guys you can tell work hard . (Literally saw them running to my car to get it back there ) . I was worried that one of my rims had gotten scratch, But he came out and looked at it with me and cleaned it and it just happen to be whatever they used to put the tires on. He cleaned the tire for me and assured me that what they used was plastic. Thank you so much for that, that to me shows that you really do care about your customers. Especially when I had a bad time at NTB *** If you’re reading this do not go there, NTB left me stranded with my two grandkids because they do a courtesy check on your battery and whoever did it, DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, they messed up my battery!! ** had to buy a new one.Thank you James & ( the kid that was helping him, sorry I did not catch your name) and especially Tony because one of the sensors was reading incorrectly and he fix that for me, and made sure that I was happy before I left. We visited the location off of I 20 in south grand prairie. My family and I have spent many hundreds of dollars at this location and the location in Cedar Hill. The stores are always clean and the employees helpful courteous and knowledgeable. I always get an estimate from Walmart before I go to discount tire. They always beat the price by 10% or more. Then have always fixed flats for my family and I 4 free, Even if we did not buy the tire from them. They also has a separate area now where people can come in just to get the tire pressure checked and adjusted. I like that very much. I highly recommend Discount tire. My family and I will continue to take our business there.

They have the best customer service of any of their competitors. What makes it so great is that its not that fake polite behavior, its genuine and it shows in how they treat you. I grew up having my tires serviced there, then due to my husbands job offering a discount at one of the competitors we went there to save a little bit. It wasnt worth it. I now ONLY go to Discount Tires for ALL my tire needs!

Everyone at this location is very professional and goes out of their way to put the customer first. I went in today 02/18/20 thinking I would have to purchase a new tire, but they were able to patch my original tire, filled my spare up with air put it back under my vehicle and all for no charge. Went in to have the pressure checked. The tires were all a bit low. When I told James I was worried about nails because they just put a new roof on the house he did a quick check for nails. That was service, over and above and I really appreciated it!We always but our tires here and they have always given us great service!

Dont waste your time with these guys unless you make sure to follow up on every little thing.I called a day ahead to make an appointment to get a tire replaced. I informed the guy on the phone that I needed a new tire and wanted to come in the next day. He proceeded to look up my vehicle and said I was down for the next day and was all good to go. I arrive the next day only to be told that they dont even have the tire in stock. He said they could order one and have it there the next day. My next question was, then why didnt the guy who made my appointment order the tire so it without be ready when I arrived.I took off work early to get it done during the day to avoid the weekend crowd and now I still get to deal with the weekend crowd. Thanks alot discount tire.If everything goes right and they have what you want in stock, theyre great. Good luck if anything is out of the ordinary. Theyre always in a huge hurry. They also messed up one of my wheel studs, but did take care of that for me. I had to go to a different shop to get it fixed, however.
