I have used Sci-Tech Automotive for over 15 years! They are fast, honest, and reliable! Ari makes sure I understand repairs and costs. I truly believe Sci-Tech has added longevity to my 2003 Yukon XL by keeping her in tip top shape. In fact, they just replaced brakes and did some other repairs so my 18 year old son is able to rely on my 18 year old vehicle at college this fall.

Ari took great care of my car and me, told me it wouldnt be done for a while. Expected it to be not until super late in the day but they had it done in the next hour and a half. Did the work that I requested them to, filled my tires and everything. Mechanic was even super nice, after all the extra work they did and the required work which was an oil change, tire rotation, checked my brakes, filled my tires, replaced my cabin filter (which is a pain to change) all for under $100. Customer service was super nice on top of all the good work they did, highly recommend the Grandview, MO location!

I had some car issues leaving Kansas City to go back to Texas. My car was overheating come to find out I needed a thermostat and some otherb issues with overheating. I have used this business before in the past and they were always very nice and never tried to get over on me, like some be shops will do since Im a woman. Ari, is the sweetest nicest person that you could ever meet. He was helpful, the job was done quickly, he kept me up to date since Im in Texas and my car was there in Kansas City that was very very much helpful. He even requested, no he insisted that I give him a call when I make it back to Texas to ensure I made it back safely. What I paid was very reasonable for the work that was done. Did a great job. Made appointment online, Ari called to verify and go over what I needed done (oil change, some routine maintenance) He was able to find the nail in the tire that Wal-Mart missed and patched it. Car was finished exactly when he said it would be. Scitech has given us great and fair service for over 7 years now. Has helped keep my 20 year old car still running and in great condition. Also, helped us in looking over a new used car we bought last year. Ari the front desk guy is open and honest and will tell you when things are worth repairing and when its not.

We have been using them for several years. They are honest and all repairs are completed on time and in good order. We especially appreciate the fact that they let you know what must be repaired and what can wait for awhile if your finances are tight.

Our car started making strange noises when we braked or turned. We also needed a headlight and tail light changed. Scitech in Grandview got us in in a timely manner, found the suspension problem and fixed it and changed out the lights. They are very reliable. We have been going there for many years.

I have been going to Sci-Tech, and ONLY Sci-Tech, for more than 25 years now. They are friendly, knowledgeable, fast, communicative, and really know how to balance a customers budget and car function. For example, at times my budget was tight, theyd recommend fixing immediate items to get me back on the road but also let me know about other items that would need to be dealt with soon (while I saved to pay for those necessary but postpone-able repairs). Budget conversation was always respectful and flexible. While Ive recently moved back into the area near the Grandview shop, I drove over from north Johnson County to get my car fixed for 15+ years. That commute versus the excellent service was a no-brainer. Could not possibly have better things to say about this shop!

This is a great shop. Service writer Ari is friendly and reassuring, provides thorough explanations, and helps prioritize what your car really needs vs what can wait. First of all, I have rarely been at an auto care shop where a crew works so hard with you to not only document what a car needs, But help you pick in accordance of budget and experience. Secondly, the crew goes based on your time and the most thorough work possible. They take photos and give you a full printout of everything they see. The guys at Sci Tech automotive are great .I would recommend them to anyone.

On my very first visit, they showed exactly why they were highly recommended by several friends. They are fast, they provide constant communication with updates, theyre professional, helpful, and honest. I dropped my vehicle off-hours with a body issue they dont service, and they took it upon themselves to ship it up the road to a body shop that could get me what I needed. I ended it bringing it back to them the next day for some routine service Id normally have gotten elsewhere because I was so impressed with the way they handled things. Its a good bit farther from my house than where I normally get service, but I can guarantee Ill be back here for all my service needs from now on. Definitely worth the drive.

Number one shop in the whole Kansas City area. Ive never met any shop whose mechanics are as pleasant as this ones. They are very polite and very understanding about the situation I was in with my vehicle, and I tell you my vehicle wasnt very pleasant to work on. They got it done fast and kept me updated the whole way. There is no other shop Id suggest more than this one, and for that matter Ill never go to a different one.

I was told by another shop that my power steering pump was going out. I called Ari who have my a better price and dropped it off. Turns out, it didnt need to be replaced. I have been very pleased with my two visits to Sci-Tech. The first was for an inspection which went well. The second time I brought my car in was because I noticed something hanging down underneath my car, to find out that it was the strap that holds my gas tank up. I brought it in right away and they fixed it in about 15-20 minutes. When I went to pay, they said not to worry about the bill.My experience is that they have been honest and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!

I went here just to get a ballpark quote so I would know if I could even afford the repair. i was expecting the usual we dont know til we get it in response, but instead the shop told me no problem, and had an excellent attitude and customer service. I took my vehicle in for a safety inspection after a terrible experience with Jiffy Lube. They got me scheduled and promptly got the inspection done. Informed me of what needed to be done on my vehicle, as well as answered some other questions for me in regard to unrelated vehicle problems. I was given the facts on the situation and also encouraged that I could complete these repairs myself if I was so inclined. After completing the repairs I returned to Sci-Tech and they quickly updated my safety inspection to a PASS. I would definitely bring my car back to them for repairs that are not within my ability. When it comes to automotive work I dont look for the cheapest shop in town. I look for fair and competent and thats what I saw was being provided.Thanks for a great experience

I detected the smell of burnt smoke inside my car. I went to Hendrick Buick, they told me they were going to charge me $3,500 to replace my head gaskets. I decide to go to sci-tech to get a second opinion, turns out they found the problem and it only cost me $322. Ari and his team of technicians are knowledgeable, fast, professional and honest. Needless to say I was totally satisfied and I will not be going anywhere else with my automobile problems.

I have had John and his team work on many of my vehicles. From total re manufactured motor to simple oil changes. Top notch service and honest to a fault. One instance they diagnosed a bad head and let me know that if I spend the money to have the work done it would be a waste because with the high milage I would be throwing good money after bad. I got a second opinion and the other shop said I should do the head. I spent $2000 with another shop. Exactly what John said in less then two months the valves went out and my motor was trashed. John cared more about my bottom line then fleecing me for two grand. Thanks guys for all you do

Watch out for this shop! I know many people (including my own family) who went in for a State inspection with a car that worked fine and had no issues only to have their cars sabotaged by Ari. I called to find out how how quickly I would be able have an inspection done and was hounded with today, I can do it today . Then proceeded to tell me everyone needs it done rite away with a smart a** tone. Simple question, dont get mad at me.

My daughter brought her car in when she moved from California two weeks ago. The tech pointed out two lists of repair. One was a long list of items that could be addressed but not necessary to pass inspection and the second list was a burned out bulb and a leaky resonator. They offered to fix the items for $350 and thankfully she left. I replaced the bulb for $5 bucks and the leaky resonator amounted to a $30 spot weld on a car that only has 40k miles on it. Very disappointed in their attempt to extort money from my daughter and we will never go to Sci Tech again. The leak was so minuscule that I could barely find it on the stainless steel resonator. Im guessing they saw a young woman and thought they would make a quick buck.

One time one of my vehicles had to be towed to Sci-Techs shop. When I arrived there was some little problem that they were able to fix and there was no charge. No charge people! Did i say....no charge?
