Such a fun new place to go! Quiet and quaint in downtown Grapevine. The staff is super friendly and very helpful when trying to order. They have so many options and I love that the coffee is all made with Oat Milk. The cornbread waffle they recommended was so good and we topped it off with the pumpkin waffle! They have a quiet space to work and you almost feel like you are in a sleepy beach town coffee shop. It was wonderful! I definitely will be back and already dreaming about having my wonderful Latte again!

Had the Fig and Brie waffle, excellent dish. Definitely pair it with your favorite coffee or tea, as their waffle texture is almost a mixture of waffle and scone? It’s awesome. Great atmosphere, and service was quick and sweet. Definitely returning.

Very cute and chic place. Great place to stop! I tried the orange and coconut waffle and it was delicious! Right by the downtown/farmers market area so it’s a good place to take a break or walk around afterward!

This is my favorite coffee shop in DFW, hands down! I’ve been going to Brew and Batter for over a year, and it is the best. The staff is so friendly and attentive, their menu is unique and delicious, and I love the calm/quiet vibe of the shop. The outdoor seating is a great addition, especially going into fall! Ask the staff for a drink recommendation next time you go in, they always have the best suggestions!

Chai Lavender latte and cinnamon honey latte were delicious, churro and vegan waffles were delicious and staff was very friendly and happy to answer any questions. I love that all drinks are made with oat milk!

Great selection of espresso drinks and waffles. We tried the breakfast waffle (savory) and the cranberry orange (seasonal). Cool spot that well definitely come back to again.

My new favorite breakfast place in grapevine! We loved the coffee drink options and waffles! Our favorite waffle was the breakfast waffle. Cornmeal batter, egg, cheese, and cilantro crema. Tied for second was the pecan and churro waffles. Super friendly and fast staff. I had a rosemary latte and cayenne mocha. Both excellent. They are not joking, the cayenne is spicy!

We had the fig jam & Brie waffle and the peaches & cream waffle - both were soooo good!

Many vegan, gluten free a dairy free options on the menu. The nitro cold brew is made locally and is really good. And generally its a nice quiet and friendly place to sit in.

Fun, local coffee shop tucked one block off of downtown Grapevine. My roommate and I got hot Apple Pie Latte and Pumpkin Spice Latte, respectively. Both were subtle, without the abundance of sugar of most lattes, which was very appreciated. The pumpkin spice latte doesnt taste like pumpkin, but definitely had the spice. Overall, great coffee. We will be back

I really enjoyed this coffee shop and can’t wait to go back. Super cute little place. They have wifi and places to work and will bring your order to you. They have both indoor and patio seating but there are no umbrellas outside so it does get warm.Parking is limited right at the shop but there is enough in the general area. Also, I appreciate that they are doing their part to be eco friendly and source sustainable products.

Unique establishment specializing in gourmet coffees and trendy breakfast foods. I tried the cornbread waffle with honey and was quite impressed. Service was provided by a friendly face. I was able to set up laptop, connect to their wifi, and work for 30 min.

Its hard to find a better coffee shop with Brew & Batters charm, staff and high quality of coffee and food... especially in this area. If youre visiting Grapevine as a tourist, or if youre a local (me) youll instantly fall in love with this place with its homey, clean comfort and kind, unpretentious staff.In its quaint space, there are areas for business meetings, working alone and a decent get together with friends. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming through town.

The interior is nice! The cortado was a bit more acidic that I would like. Masks are not used by staff or required for customers.

Cute place, coffee very smooth...young ladies, baristas very sweet...yet to taste the waffle, but sure its delicious!

Drip coffee tasted exactly like you expect a diner coffee to taste. Maybe lattes or cappuccinos are better here, but if you want the regular black drip coffee - it’s not your place.Also, their cups didn’t quite fit the lids so when you are trying to drink from a to-go cup - maybe take the lid off.

Its a cute place with some inviting, some less inviting folks behind the bar. The beverage options arent anything to write home about, but also dont make you want to spit them out. Not the best seating options, but it is what it is. I suppose what Im getting at is that it just skews a little middle of the road, for me personally.Lastly: They dont offer almond milk because of the amount of water it takes to make almond milk. Pick-and-choose altruism coming from a coffeeshop....selling beverages that literally cant be made..... without water. No hate, but if they cared so much about water consumption and use...why would they start a business almost entirely dependent on water (coffeeshop), with so many coffeeshops already in the area?

One of the best breakfasts in Grapevine. Waffles, coffee / espresso, and tea are all they have, but all are delicious! We tried All the waffles, the blueberry and the coconut orange were our favorites, but all were tasty. Of note all coffees are made with oat milk unless you request otherwise.

Good food and coffee but the staff is pretty curt, bordering on rude. Just something to be aware of.

Must say I was a bit disappointed. I had the Breakfast Waffle and drip coffee. The coffee was ordinary, which is surprising, given their name/brand; was no better than a gas station. I was most disappointed in the attitude of the young lady taking my order. I expect folks to be passionate and expressive about their menu and to take some interest in this my first experience. She was indifferent at best and could provide like guidance. The Breakfast waffle was ok. Though they only serve eggs scrambled apparently unable to make an over easy egg.I will give them one more chance before writing them off because it is a great concept and nice atmosphere.

Such a cute shop! I got Hot Chocolate and my husband got the Cayenne Mocha. He said the cayenne really brought out the richness of the chocolate and he loved it more than expected. Well definitely be back!

Stopped in before hitting the Grapevine Christmas market and their coffee was great. They use White Rock beans, and their drinks are oat milk based (finally someone gets it). Also, I thought I was a pancake girl before trying these hearty waffles. Thin, wafer-like waffles aren’t the move, sis. Be open to something new and delicious and give this place a try!

Brew & Batter is a feel-good establishment in every way. There is a lovely assortment of flavors and variations for your drink of choice and tasty meals to fill you up, like decadent waffles and savory avocado toast that are sure to hit the spot. The place is warm, cozy, thoughtful, and happy. I love the sense of community and positivity strewn about the interior. Brew & Batter is doing it right!

Such a fun concept and the ingredients are locally sourced which is great. We only tried the lattes (which are made with oatmilk). I thought the lavender honey was okay but I didnt taste much lavender and the coffee was a bit acidic for the other flavors. My husband tried the Halloween themed latte and he really enjoyed his, but he tends to like very sweet coffee drinks. Fast and friendly service, clean and the post it notes from customers with affirmations is cute. Worth trying again. They also have a cheese tray where for a $5 corkage fee you can relax with a BYOB and try out local cheese, honey and jams.

This is only my second time here but I feel like I should submit two five star reviews. Their oat milk beverages are unbelievably delicious, I first had their Halloween latte and today, an Iced Cayenne Mocha. Also with oat milk, also so delicious. Couple that with the amazing customer service - I give them all the stars!!

Amazing coffee shop. Although theyve recently raised their prices quite a bit, theyve also added outdoor seating and the food is a bit more reliable.

So the vibe here is great! The kindness notes from customers are a great idea for self talk and positive vibes.But... the heart of the business is coffee and waffles. The pumpkin spice latte had no hint of pumpkin flavor, it was mostly spice and milk. The “waffle” is not a fluffy text but as thick as a pound cake. The kids running it need more training and creativity.

This was my 2nd time in here and both times the customer service was non existent. I brought my mother and sister this time in hopes things had changed, but I was wrong. We’ve lived in Grapevine our whole lives and are always excited to support small business. We unfortunately won’t be back and do not recommend visiting.

I had a great cortado here. Very good coffee in a very pleasant atmosphere.

Coffee was okay nothing special. Should try to work on the extraction. The waffle was sadly bland. Very surprising... The only reason why I would want to eat a waffle from here again is primarily because it was a good size and decently filling.So I agree the batter was good but not exciting at all.The baristas were very nice and the location is beautiful.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the DFW. The coffee is exceptional. For being a new coffee shop, they have a super yummy coffee menu. And the waffles... SO GOOD. The staff is super sweet and make the whole experience memorable. I highly recommend!

The service was absolutely pleasant. Coffee here is carefully brewed and mixed to the customers liking. The employees are friendly and make you feel at home. One could enjoy the downtown scenery and sip on their preferred arrangement of food along with smooth, mouthwatering coffee or tea. Seating arrangements are proportionate and comfortable. The workers respect social distancing and promote cleanliness and the wellbeing of their customers. Music that is played is appropriate and soft, providing the perfect studying environment. Overall, Brew and Batter rests as a delightful, gratifying, and refreshing experience that is especially recommended.

We randomly ended up here passing through grapevine and I’m so glad we did, we ordered two coffees— a honey oat milk latte and a cortado and they were fantastic! The espresso is a bit on the acidic side but still very pleasant and not burnt tasting. the service was great as well :)

I really don’t understand how this place doesn’t have higher ratings. Such an awesome group. Every time I am there they walk whoever I bring through the menu with unlimited patience. The waffle is also delicious and even big enough to split for a nice little snack with your coffee or a business meeting. Plus their waffle ideas are so unique.

There is a quiet room in here! I got so much work done in here, I enjoy the atmosphere, its accommodating, almost like a tree house, highly recommend.

I have been in everyday since this shop has opened, and it has easily become one of my new favorite spots! The coffee is delicious, and I get the trio every time because I can never decide on just one of the waffles. The staff is very friendly and attentive, even when busy they are able to get you in and out. Love this coffee shop!

Such a cute little place with deliciously brewed coffee. Love the dairy free options and creative flavors they offer. Staff is very welcoming and patient for the newcomer, carefully explaining and walking you through the menu. Definitely will be coming back to try the waffles!

Overall a good experience. I used to work at a coffee shop so I am highly particular about coffee shop experiences. This was a nice experience. However, I visited in the middle of the afternoon and was disappointed to find there was no cold brewed iced coffee option. I was not looking for an iced latte or anything like that, I simply wanted a cold brewed iced coffee. That being said, the iced americano I ordered with oat milk was delicious. I just wanted a stronger coffee flavored drink.The milk options and substitutes were a bit on the confusing side. I asked about the oat milk and the explanation I got only made me feel more confused. Be careful about going into too much detail! All in all a good experience.

I had the blueberry match was just okay not the best not the worst, but I did think the coffee shop was good and the service was good too!

I was disappointed with the lack of vegan options on the food menu. i came to study but there wasn’t many places to sit, and the room that was called “quiet room” wasn’t quiet at all– families were sitting in there because that was the only place with large enough seating for them. also, i found the music to be very distracting and loud, they played justin beiber and other top 40 not your typical coffee shop music. i suppose that’s fine but the instagram made it seem like it was a good place for students since they have a student discount. the barista did have to go get the manager (or owner?) to come type in a password on the computer which took several minutes and she seemed short with him and did not greet me at all. the barista who rang up me though was very knowledgeable and he was super helpful when recommending vegan drinks. i felt like after i got my drink i should just go study somewhere else because of the noise and lack of seating

Tried out Batter & Brew today. Friendly helpers, expert barista and great environment. Haven’t tried a waffle yet, but my chai tea latte was stellar. I work across the street so I’ll certainly be a regular.

Okay Im going to give this place 4 stars because covid. But this place is mad bougie. Im from brooklyn, Im used to crazy prices, but $8 for a waffle, $6 for a coffee? I spent $22 on a waffle, coffee, and a bottle of water. Was it delicious? Yes. But like most bougie eateries in bklyn this joint had kid written all over it with no kid friendly stuff. No shade outside, all the juice had CBD in it, and we had to go inside to order, which is fine, just hard when you have a toddler. Good place to meet friends and brunch. Just a sign downtown grapevine is becoming a mini Austin.

Friendly staff. Mango iced tea was thick and grainy, like the powdered mix had settled to the bottom of the drink container. Avocado toast on the menu boasted tomato....no tomato showed up....and the toast just wasnt special. A thin smear of avocado sprinkled with bagel seasoning...no garnish...I felt like it was overpriced.

Oh my gosh this place is the best!! Run don’t walk to this new Gem in Grapevine. I live in Dallas but my mom lives and works in Grapevine. I visit her often and this is just what the sweet downtown area needed!! I give it 5 stars for 5 reasons!1. The menu was amazing. Simple and perfect. I loved the waffle trio. Churro was my personal favorite but my kids loved them all. Staff said they are extending their menu too so I can’t imagine the waffles they’ll come up with next... Topping and sandwiches galore.2. The coffee. I love good coffee and I’m picky...but as a Dallasite I was so excited they carry and serve white rock coffee ... it’s delicious!!!! I mean doesn’t get any better!!! The drink options, syrups, rotating specials, it’s amazing. The drip is top notch.3. Location. Basically on the Main Street. Right in the heart of it all. So easy to get to with plenty of parking.4. Ambience. Relaxed, light and bright. With an array of oils and tinctures for purchase. Also local of course. Sweet staff. Cute decor and not overdone or intimidating at all.5. The front and back areas are big enough that if you can’t get an outside table there is plenty of space to lay blankets out and picnic in the lawn. With 2 kids that was my plan anyway but it was so fun to see a few other people doing the same enjoying the yummy coffee, waffles and sunshine.I’m actually going back tomorrow!! I can’t wait!!

I am extremely picky when it comes to my coffee and typically when I try new places they do not ever get it right but THEY DID, it’s the little things that ! Not only did they nail my picky coffee preferences we ordered the waffle trio and not only did I love them but my 1 yr old and 11 yr old immediately asked for more(personal favorite was the elotes waffle)! So long story short.. we will for sure be back the next time we are in Grapevine!

Unorganized. Staff need more training. I understand this is a new place, but i witness a lady training snap at an employee about a week ago.

Bad service they were rude and seemed to have trouble working as a team. Between bad service and a clustered work environment it made my experience unpleasant they should definitely work on customer service and being a team!
