My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting the Inskeep Ford team when we catastrophically broke down in Greenfield. The compassion and sympathy to our situation was heartfelt and appreciated. Tim Lee, Ali the Finance Lady, Dustin our Technician and the General Manager took the time to make sure all our needs were addressed. Full access to tools and technician help made the situation better. The Inskeep team got my wife and I into a beautiful Ford Pickup so we could continue our trip home. Nobody wants to break down on the road, Im just glad I did it in Greenfield. I usually take I64 from the east coast to Kansas to see my family. Now I will take I 70 so I can see my extended Inskeep Ford family more often.
Found the new truck we were looking for, so the dealership in my hometown made a deal with this Inskeep dealership Saturday to do a dealer trade and said on Email also it was done deal. We were to pick up the truck today (Monday) mind you we already signed all the paperwork and just had to pick it up upon arrival. We get a call that this Inskeep dealership sold the truck this morning, which by reading others reviews seems to be a trend for them. This place is very dishonest. If you find a truck on their lot you better buy it through them at that location ( which I wouldn’t just because I won’t deal with dishonest people if I don’t have too ). And FYI if your looking for a new Ford go to hubler!! 200k mile warranty!!! and those guys know how to treat you and take care of you. Hope this helps others. Have a great day!!!!

Called and talked to sales rep Josh about my totaled vehicle and wanting to repurchase like new ford Ranger lariat they had .I was told to just wait for my insurance to figure it out.Called back next day first thing in morning 930 am talked to a Pat Dunn owner. Super nice and said to fill out application online and no need to come into the dealership until that paperwork was done.Stated his daughter Ali the finance manager would handle everything. 3:15 pm comes and not a word. Josh sends me a txt asking how my insurance was coming. I stated I already talked to the owner and filled out application for the Ford Lariat.Josh states that some guy is there to test drive the truck and would let me know if he bought it or not.Seriously? I then contact and talk to Ali whom shows care about the issue and wanted to talk to her dad. No phone call for over an hour and a half. Owner calls to apologize that they sold the car out from under me. If there wasnt such a shortage on vehicles Id not have cared and for them to tell me everything would be handled. Obviously I didnt matter .Dont fill out online apps if you want a vehicle from here. I should have not listened to the owner and showed up in person .Id have my new truck, and now not back on the hunt for a new vehicle,nor wrote this review.Probably a blessing in disguise.

There are Ford dealerships more convenient for me but I drive out of my way to have my car serviced here. They take time to explain what needs to be replaced or repaired and when to expect to need to make those replacements or repairs. Theyre honest and never pressure you.

Technicians would not update software in the computer system while they had it in for a repair all day and neglected to PUT THE RADIO ANTENNA ON THE TRUCK before they sold it to us! Then they had nothing to say about it to make it right.
My 2003 F150 broke down on me during my Thanksgiving trip to Indiana. I couldnt return home with it so I dropped it off and dealt with Rick in Service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I wasnt price gouged for the service done. Which I thought would cost so much more. Thanks again to all involved.

The service department does quality work! They always get it right the first time so there is no need to worry about returning it for additional repairs. They have my complete trust. If they say something needs repairs they mean it and are not trying to do more than necessary. Inskeep Ford does all of my vehicle maintenance and repairs. Great service writers and technicians!
Very unimpressed with the service department, which is a first for me with Inskeep. My car was finished yesterday and when I picked it up after almost $1,000 in repairs it was still not fully put back together. Parts on the interior were still apart, with wiring exposed, and other parts strewn about my back seat. I had to slap everything back together myself. Then today I go to use my keyless entry pad only to find that the code had been reset. I wasnt given a new code at time of payment and was told I had to come back by the shop after work today to get the code. My family and I have been Ford buyers for as long as I can remember, and have highly recommended Inskeep in the past. Going forward I will be looking for a new Ford dealership that is a little more thorough in their final run throughs before returning the vehicle to the customer.

Was told our battery needed replaced. Little they knew it was only a few years old. They wanted to make up for giving us a discount that they at first didnt want to honor from what there ad was sharing. Not a honest place to visit.

He made me feel at ease and relaxed and was very informative of my Lincoln MKX that I ended up purchasing on April 24th 2018. If I would ever need another vehicle in the future or even talk to this gentleman by visit I would count it a privilege. I was on Inskeep web site and saw a 2004 Ford Ranger for sale. I was very interested in it because it had 120,000 miles and had a flare bed. I was communicating through text messages with Greg. He sent me pics of the truck and an inspection sheet. Everything looked great. The front bumper had a little rust but they said they was going to install a new one. Mind you I live 2 hours away. So I took a day off with an appointment to see the truck. We had already agreed on an out the door price if all was good. When I got there and inspected the bed it was rotted out. It was covered up by rhino liner but you couldnt haul anything in it. I asked why they didnt tell me about it before I drove 2 hours and said he didnt know about the bed. I ask if they would replace or lower the price. He said he had to ask his boss. He then came back after a few minutes and said No. I was really upset because taking the day off and the drive and they didnt care at all. They didnt seem too surprised of just finding out about the bed. People like that I cant and wont deal with. I hope this helps. I felt this should be said.
After coming in for a routine oil change, I also informed them of my low back tire. After the process was completed the dealership called me to say my tire had a nail in it and asked if I wanted it fixed for $20. Keep in mind my car was bought new from this dealership and my tires only have 34,000miles on them still within tire warranty. Figuring that it would have been a complimentary service considering.. but it was not so I said no I will take it to Discount Tire that offers this service free.Once I got my car I noticed that the tire pressure was still as low as I brought it to them. I may have not decided to have them fix the flat but they should have at least filled air back in my tires. So much for paying for the 35point inspection done by this dealership. I would say management needs to run a tighter ship letting customers leave without a service they pay for.

I went in for a recalled part to be replaced. I arrived just before my appointment time. They took the car right to the back. I went and sat in their nice customer lounge. 45 minutes later they called my name as the car was done. Good service!

I was traveling down south pulling my trailer and had the truck go into limp mode. Parked for the night dropped the trailer. Took a car that I was about to purchase in for a pre-purchase inspection. Was told numerous things were wrong with the car. Most notably though, I was told the left and right inner tie rod ends were bad enough that soon they would separate and id be without steering control. Additionally I was told the rear struts were going out but that there was no real safety threat. Well a few days later after purchase I take it in to Big O to get those inner tie rod ends replaced, and Im told nothing is wrong with the tie rods, however not only were the rear struts failing... the right rear spring was broken (I had noticed a little noise coming from the rear when I would drive the car). I told him to only replace the right rear strut and spring, and that I would do all the others myself in a few months. After getting the car back the noise was completely gone, so its not likely that the spring broke during the few days between inspections. Its likely that it was broken and unnoticed the first time. Also, super weird that he would tell me both front tie rods are failing when they were totally fine. Those are a huge safety concern so I took the car in for a 3rd opinion on the tie rods...nope, nothing wrong. So that cost me an additional $50 for another small inspection just for peace of mind because I was told the tie rods were bad when they werent. Not sure if that was a weird attempt at a money grab, but thats a relatively cheap fix, so Im not sure what led the mechanic to that conclusion. Outer tie rod ends tend to fail first anyway, and there were no obvious signs of that. Anyway...a couple of pretty big strikes there. Depends on the mechanic you get Im sure and I dont remember his name, but I wouldnt trust anything these guys in the service department say without a second opinion. So a pretty pointless waste of money if you ask me. You risk being told information about your vehicle thats just straight up wrong.

My father recently had a minor accident in a Chevy vehicle. The local Chevy dealer would not do the work. They sent the vehicle to Inskeep to have both the body and mechanical work done. Gary in the body shop was awesome to work with! They were more than happy to do the work on the Chevy. Gary did an awesome job kepping us updated on what was happening. The end result is that my father is going to start bring his Chevy to the Ford dealer to be serviced!
Was recently visiting Indianapolis from Ontario Canada and a check engine light came on in my 2016 Ford F350. Called Inskeep Ford that night and spoke with Erick Faust. Despite being very busy the next day, Erick was able to fit me in to get my truck looked at. Their technician diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and even got it covered under warranty. The rest of the trip went on as planned. Thank you for all your help Erick...it was sincerely appreciated.
Everyone we worked with was fantastic! After driving a new Explorer, we realized it wasnt quite what we were looking for. Within 6 hours they had found the one we wanted, brought it in, had it prepped & paperwork done. Even had it washed while we were wrapping everything up. Brought in my F350 truck for maintenance, mainly a oil change and change the fuel filter. While I was there I decided to test the coolant.While I was inside the waiting room they suggested that I changed my air filter. While I knew that it had been changed 10 months ago I thought, I should do it since we would be on the road for another four months.I didn’t have an issue with the oil change or the fuel filter, but I did have a problem having to pay $20 for coolant check (which normally is for free) and the price of the air filter. The air filter was $22, the price to install it was $80.While we travel throughout the US, this is one dealer we won’t be visiting again.
I love Inskeep, shortly after I got my Mustang I brought it in for an oil change and left for lunch expecting it to be a long drawn out ordeal like most places (I was used to spending 2 hours at a dealership while they tried to figure out how to replace a plate light) but halfway through my sandwich I got a call saying my car was done, in only about 35 minutes, and it was great work as well. Even more impressive was when I had Inskeep put my Roush exhaust on and they did great work and charged my way lower than anywhere else had quoted me and got it done fast and exactly when they said they would. Not only are all the staff super cool (I spent a good ten minutes chatting with a lady about mustangs at my recent oil change) Jeff Inskeep is also a super cool person who not only is professional at the dealership but outside of it, When he came into the retail store I worked at and I asked if he was in fact the owner of Inskeep, he asked for my name and was extremely polite and it shows that he has set this example/expectation of everyone that works at Inskeep. This business exemplifies what customer service should be and if you have a ford this is the place you should trust.
My husband and I spoke with Alan King last year when we stopped to look at a used car that was on the lot. He was very personable and easy to work with. We decided to keep our car at that time. As our car got another year older and the miles climbed, we started thinking about getting a newer car again. Alan contacted us and asked if we were ready. We were, and 2 days later we have a new car that we love! I am always anxious and stressed about major purchases and buying a new car ranks as major to me. Alan made the process easy and stress-free and I am grateful for that. Mark, the used car manager, got us a great deal on our trade-in too!I have been to other dealerships and have often been treated as if I wasnt worth the time. Unfortunately, that seems to be the trend. That is not the experience I had at Inskeep. I would recommend the dealership and especially Alan to anyone. I actually researched for 11/2 years and she recalled emails from me from that long ago... Sure enough she looked it up and they were there! Amazing since we never even met face to face. I contacted over 7 dealerships over that period and Im happy to say that Inskeep Ford was the best decision Ive ever made to choose to buy my vehicle from!!!

I took my car in to have an estimate done because it was making a strange noise, when I went to pick it up the estimate was very high. They said the transmission was needing repair, I didnt believe them seeing how its been doing it for 6 months and stops once it warms up. Then to my surprise they told me that I owed them for doing the estimate. They should have told me before that they were charging me to look at it. Wont be going back to that Dealership. But the guys in their parts dept. are good.

We have multiple drivers, like the Ford line of cars, and are very practical buyers. Tim respects all of those things and never pressures us into buying anything just to make a sale. DO NOT USE INSKEEP FORDS SERVICE DEPT! They misdiagnosed a ticking sound coming from my Ford Expeditions engine. Then 6 days later caused catastrophic damage to the engine. They then wanted to charge me $8000 to repair it! They definitely dismissed my concerns of a ticking sound due to me being a widow woman. They also wanted to charge me $160 for a new battery when just 1 week earlier they told me my battery was fine during the oil change! I had my vehicle towed out of there very quickly because something fishy was going on there! Just terrible to take advantage of a woman who had put her trust in them.
The staff at Inskeep Ford was so helpful, courteous, and welcoming. They knew their products, and they were able to get me the car I wanted for within $5/month of what I wanted to pay. Special thanks to Pat and Mark for their exceptional service.
This place is awesome. I went there thinking I had a transmission problem, the transmission guy got into my vehicle we went for a ride and he determined it was not a transmission rather it was motor mounts. They took my vehicle in gave me a ride home put in motor mounts didnt charge me for an examination fees and I got my vehicle back fast. The service writer was extremely friendly the transmission guy was extremely friendly and the price was right dont go to Capital Ford. They seem like to me theyre overpriced and will rip you off I do not trust them in my opinion
Pat Dunn was easy to work with and very courteous. He kept me informed throughout the process, I had him searching several dealers for the exact car we wanted. He walked us through the lease process and I will be leasing from them again in the near future. I also worked with Tom Roudebush and had a similar experience with Tom. Both of them were courteous and professional and not high pressure at all. I appreciated the experience as Ive had several experiences with dealerships in the past that were very frustrating, so much so my wife wont car shop any more.
I traveled from over 2,000 miles away to trade in my F-250 on a new Raptor. All the dealers on the West Coast are marking them up $15-20K, but Inskeep was willing to sell me one of their allocations at MSRP. Not only did I get the exact truck I wanted for $20K less than my local dealer, but they also offered me a very reasonable amount on my trade-in.Now, thats good enough for a 5-star rating, but they went even further and met me at the dealership on Independence Day to accommodate my busy schedule. The entire transaction was smooth and enjoyable! The crew there are very friendly and really made the whole experience wonderful.I just wish they werent so far away!
I went into Inskeep thinking I wanted a Ford Fusion and wasnt completely sold but my salesman, Alan King, ended up getting me to test drive a 2015 Ford Escape and I fell in love with it!! I am so happy he had me test drive it because I wasnt even thinking about getting an Escape. He was friendly and showed me all of the features of the Escape and was a huge help in getting me to take that car home! He wasnt pushy and he was willing to work with me in any way possible. I am incredibly happy with all of their staff. They all are friendly and polite, especially being a woman, I find that a lot of times when I go to the dealerships I never get much help or the salesman are rude to me, but not at Inskeep. That was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend Inskeep and their crew to anyone. I also have to say that my mom bought an Edge from Alan a couple years ago and my boyfriend bought a F-150 from Alan and they both were happy with Inskeep as well.

I will definitely NEVER purchase another expensive FORD like the Expedition. Not worth the money if the engine blows up after 88K miles and Inskeep ignored my concerns of the ticking sound. This situation was totally preventable if you had not dismissed my concerns. In the end it was very costly to me because of Inskeeps negligence.

You will not find a better experience when purchasing a vehicle. This was our second purchase with Inskeep and by far the best experience we have ever had with a car purchase. Pat Dunn, Mark Windler and Kirby Johnson were all great. We felt no pressure to purchase at all. From start to finish the process was easy and they answered every question we had. Visiting Inskeep was the best choice we have ever made.
Tim Lee, my salesman, greeted me and my wife one Saturday morning and immediately helped us with our order. I was worried that since it was an A-Plan order that the service I would get would be that reserved for discount customers. Tim, made the experience very easy to place the order and made it a very enjoyable experience. We were in and out in under 20 minutes. Tim stayed in contact with me via phone and email to keep me apprised of the order. Low and behold, the car arrived much earlier than expected and Tim called to get the paper work going. I arrived earlier than expected, just too excited to pickup the new car I guess, and Tim was ready to take care of me. Tim spent as much time as I needed to train me on syncing my phone to the car and customizing seating and mirror placement. I would definitely recommend Tim to anyone looking for a new Ford.
The supposed salesman wouldnt work with me at all. He was very unfriendly and did not apparently want to make a sale. I ended up going to obrien Toyota and got the complete opposite experience, and they got my $35,000 business
I went in to have the CD player fixed on my Ford Explorer and I started browsing the lot for trucks. I went back into the Service department and told Matt that I think I am going to buy a new truck as well.Matt introduced me to Alan and less than 24 hours later, I drove my new truck off the lot. It was a pleasure working with Alan. The purchase process with Alan was hassle and pressure free. I have recommended both Matt and Alan to my friends if they are in the market for a Ford vehicle or Ford service.And the CD player works in the Explorer again! Which makes my kids happy.

When my 10 year old car broke down in Muncie, I decided it was probably time to get a new one. I stopped by Inskeep to test drive what I thought I might want to buy and met Alan King. He was beyond helpful! He was friendly, answered all of my questions, handled the details with getting my car from Muncie to Greenfield, and found cars that fit the criteria of what I was looking for. Once I chose a car, it took far less time to complete the paperwork than it has ever taken on previous cars Ive purchased. I would highly recommend Alan King for your next vehicle purchase.

The entire staff are very pleasant to work with. The mechanics are more then willing to talk to you about your vehicle if it needs something new/changed and or tell you your vehicle doesnt need something done to it.
