Good quality strong coffee. Wished they had more of a selection of drinks, flavors, and creamers though. Very basic, in and out kind of place

Since new ownership has taken over the quality of the product has gone down. I only get a latte when the last remaining person from old ownership is there. The old owners took the time to train the baristas, now someone starts and within days they are making watery, high priced lattes. Willing to pay the price for a quality product. You can tell the difference when you pick up your cup and that’s just sad. The beauty of the shop was the care of the product. Now sped trumps quality. Had been going to this shop daily since it opened. With new ownership, I go about once a month. I make my coffee at home now. Hope the new owners read this and take it to heart. I know I am not the only regular who now is not so regular! I would love to come back but the quality does not warrant the price! And sadly this town does not have an alternative. If I wanted a substandard latte I would be going to other independent coffee shop in town. Oh wait, the other shop bought this one.......

Not a coffee person, but their holiday specials (have to look for the menu) were so great with the pastries! My favorite were the almond and Nutella ones, it’s a must stop if you travel north for ski trip or anything. Hard to find another coffee shop with such yummy pastries on the road. Not to mention the price was super reasonable!

Wish I had never purchased anything, baristas were more interested in talking to each other and their friends. I paid $5.25 for a latte. Id get better service at Dunkin donuts.

Some of the best handled coffee around, but it can be a bit stuffy in there. I dont mean air quality, more they want the appeal of a fancy Euro Cafe, and that sometimes feels like it bleeds into a somewhat judgy atmosphere, if the barista or (more likely) other clientele assumes a lack of coffee culture awareness.I absolutely love their espresso machine though, it is a gorgeous centerpiece, and pulls consistently good shots of espresso.

Lovely, spare interior. Usually some jazz plays quietly in the background. Nice atmosphere to talk with friends, or relax or work by yourself at tables or counters. It has a good basic menu of coffee, espressos, lattes and cappuccinos. It doesnt have fancier beverages a la Starbucks. The service is typical neutral New England: not friendly, but not rude. Its one of my favorite cafes around here.

The only place that we could find a decent espresso while we were visiting from New Zealand! Thank you so much for helping us survive. Staff were fantastic!

Very friendly staff and a decent selection of sweet pastry. It is a converted space in an old building, so acoustics are not great: it can get pretty noisy. On the plus side its equipped with an industrial quality air conditioning system, so if you like to feel breeze on your face wherever you sit, this place is perfect.

Had a wonderful experience while passing thru the state this morning. This jewel of a coffee shop knows how to serve a latte straight up European style, no sugar bombs like the American chains, paired with a ham and cheese croissant. Made me feel like I was back in France... The latte art has room for improvement... But the rich espresso and smoothly frothed milk supersedes the art in this review by far! ☕️☺️

Went here to have a coffee and work outside today w a friend. Their store hours say they close at 3 PM on Apple Maps and google. When we got there the employee said they were closing at 1 PM (20 minutes after we arrived) and that we couldn’t even sit outside after that. When I told her that it says their listings say they close at 3, she said “you should call next time.” Horrible service and horrible attitude from the employee here. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very aestheticly pleasing. Wasnt happy with my order (tried something new) and the barista gave me a different drink free of charge. Great service and great coffee. I really enjoyed the espresso roast and they have plenty of space in there. Doesnt feel crowded even when a lot of people are in there.

Quiet and relaxing inside. I had a cup of their dark roast black and it was very strong but not too bitter. The almont croissant was excellent with a crisp outside and flakey but somewhat flakey on the inside. It was a nice place to take a mid- afternoon break on a cold day.

I was at Greenfield coffee today as I am just about twice or three times a week. I wanted to return so looked up the shop info to check store hours when I saw the review written today. All I can say is that I’ve always received great service and coffee here. I see people put the barristers in listening jail sometimes but that’s not their fault. It’s hard to walk away from a conversation with a customer. Especially when the customer won’t stop talking. This place is great. Please give them another try.

My wife and really enjoy it here because of the location as well as the nice coffee. While the service isnt great, whenever we get coffee its good. Theres one barista we had that was wonderful, although now we find ourselves walking up to the door waiting to see if hes there to determine whether well be getting something other than a latte. That being said, one morning I wasnt feeling coffee and ordered a matcha latte. It wasnt terrible, but it wasnt great. It was a little too much on the watery side without that touch of creaminess that make matcha lattes so good, so when I went back this morning I asked for one made with less water. What I got was, well, terrible. Firstly, I dont think the barista understood at all what I was requesting. When I asked for one with less water, she asked if I wanted only water. When I received it, it was mostly water, and some milk. I guess from now on Ill only order coffee.

I loved this place, the coffee was good and had a lot of choices, at first I was a little suprised that the only available food is a grilled cheese, but after ordering it and enjoying it so much Ive realized they dont need anything else on the menu. The sandwich is a lovely pannini style grilled cheese served with a grainy mustard sauce, tasted like it had a hint of wasabi in it! The girl who was working was very nice and had great taste in music as well, which only added to the experience

Terrible! After ordering we sat at a table and before we were even done drinking our coffee we were told we had to leave because it was 6:00 and they were now closed. Never in our travels have we ever come across such an awkward situation. If independent coffee shops want to compete they should learn a little about service! There certainly is something to be said about Starbucks and that is Greenfield needs one!.

I have not been to this shop yet. But Im giving you a five star for local coffee. Three things make a good coffee:(1) Great coffee. Usually the blend speaks well for the shop: Ethiopian Yegichffe: A very nice smooth earthy bodied flavor followed by a wonder chocolaty note finished with a nice citric kick. Or my favorite: Mexican Altura: A wonderful chocolaty note followed by a citirisy bite, finished with a nice earthy feel.2) Great atmosphere and staff, (3) Great customers to drink great coffee.
