He’s all about his customers an giving them a good deal. Like any growing shop you will have techs come an go but I’ve seen the same face since he was doing this out off a flea market. So for those that are putting bad reviews make sure you talk to mo he will get you right because his priorities are the customer..with that being said this place is my go to..

Haven’t had my system long and I been having problems since I went up there with them charging me to much and not doin the work right also they gave me a used amp …. I was told on Friday after brining my truck by to get a quote that they were first come first serve and that they dont accept appointments. So I showed up Monday morning at 9:00 when their hours said they would be open. Waited until 9:25 and left when nobody showed up or answered the door. Went to another shop that said they couldnt do the work so I went back to AS at 10:30. I was first in line and there were no other cars. The promised my car would be done same day. I called at 4:20 and they told me it would be ready in an hour. I came at 5:45 and my car was not ready and they told me they had to pull their guy off my job to do another one because sometimes you gotta take a guy off the $500 job for the $5000 job but we cant and shouldnt really tell customers that. I waited in the shop for 2 hours until the work was completed. The installer couldnt figure out how to install the brackets for a stock replacement head unit (that are clear as day in the instruction manual) so my head unit is just floating around in the enclosure. He also installed an on/off switch in the glovebox without consulting me or the manual (the unit has its own on/off switch so it isnt always drawing power from the battery). Just an absolutely embarrassing experience all around. I told them I would just figure it out myself because I wanted to leave after waiting so long after the time they told me to come. They couldnt find my quote paperwork which I had luckily (with foresight) taken a photo of. Paid at 7:25, left, and will never return. Avoid this fake Fast and the Furious shop. TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS

I take my new F450 to get a stereo upgrade they damage all the dash on my brand new truck. They say the new stereo won’t fit Broke the clips and scratch the center consoleI make the mistake to pay before I check the truck so end up with a $2300 bill from ford to replace all de partsIf you own a new car don’t let this people even touch it. At the time that I went to get some quotes for my car I wanted to buy some items for my own radio install, I asked for an maestro identalink and they would not sale my one because they wanted to charge me for the installation they said that they would not sale the unit if they did not flash it, and that if they sold me the unit and identalink found out of the un flash sale they would no longer be able to sale those products there, all a big lie if you like car audio and no bs DONT GO THERE

This so called establishment is a disgrace to the Latino community!!!! My husband took my car to have them re-tint my drivers side window that they did a poor job on. When I got my vehicle back there was a burn mark on my door panel. When my husband addressed Moses, the guy who worked on the tint, he told us that we had to prove that he burned the door panel. He was extremely condescending and had a smirk on his face the entire time. He basically said that we were lying. Now to be completely honest my drivers seat and arm rest has some tears and that is from wear and tear over the 10 years I’ve owned the vehicle. We became extremely upset because he made the comment that my interior had some tears and so the burn mark must have already been on the door panel. He then threatened to call the police and told us to vacate the property. The seat and armrest has no bearing on the drivers door panel whatsoever! The issue with Moses is that he did not accept accountability for what he did! His handling of the situation was completely unacceptable! He displayed the poorest level of customer service that I have EVER witnessed!!!! If they had done the job correctly the first time this review would not even have to be written. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND Active Sound to ANYONE!!!!¡Este llamado establecimiento es una desgracia para la comunidad latina! Mi esposo tomó mi automóvil para que volvieran a teñir la ventana lateral de mis conductores en la que hicieron un mal trabajo. Luego amenazó con llamar a la policía y nos dijo que desalojáramos la propiedad. ¡El asiento y el reposabrazos no tienen relación alguna con el panel de la puerta del conductor! ¡El problema con Moisés es que él no aceptó la responsabilidad por lo que hizo! ¡Su manejo de la situación era completamente inaceptable! ¡Mostró el nivel más bajo de servicio al cliente que he presenciado! Took our car the get amp mounted and side door speakers installed. Worse $675.00 mistake ever!! First thing I noticed was when the car was off the amp was still on the speakers sounded distorted. Ended up getting our son to disconnect the wire so the amp would cool off it was extremely hot. We took our car somewhere else and count ourselves lucky because there were broken wires and wires that weren’t connected. We have pictures that we took and will be in touch with BBB and other agencies about this business. Seems pretty underhanded to tell your customers you want cash because you don’t want to pay the fees. So be warned this place is extremely shady.

This places prices are ridiculous

Took my 2003 4runner to get new speakers and a sub... $1100 later and in 1 week they stop working.. took it back, they stopped working again in less than a month. I am beyond disappointed and am taking my business elsewhere.

They did my tints, pretty decent job so I went back and got my rims. Price was great but when I came to pick up my car, they werent the rims I requested. Chris claimed the ones he gave me were a better deal, because of his customer service, I took his word for it. So, when I got a flat tire, I came back to get my tire replaced. They had my car for almost two weeks. They said I had no key BUT the key was in the car when I dropped it off. He proceeds to tell us how he doesnt fool with locks on his rims cause theyre too much trouble but you didnt say that when YOU put the locks on. He said no worries. I wont charge you for the key. I type this as I stand here in the parking lot waiting for them to give me the key they are now trying to charge me 25 dollars for...I guess they forgot theyve had my car for a tire change for two weeks...

PLEASE READ BEFORE SHOPPING HERE: A couple years ago I went in to buy speakers for my car . Honestly, great deal. They offered to install it for a reasonable price, and I accepted. After they were done I was on my way home and I turned the music on and It did not sound that clear that usually those speakers have to offer. I went to check my self, since I am a mechanic, and I realized they installed speakers that were not the ones I purchased . Worst thing was they did not even install it correctly . They only put one screw and tie wraps to secure it!!! WHAT !!!!! Never going back again.

They are a joke, place is filthy. Big fans blowing debris all over causing tint to come out bad.

I got a JBP box installed in my Jeep Wrangker in September. After several attempts to get it mounted correctly, I decided that because the guys were so nice, I wouldnt leave a bad review. Well, here I am, loving in Florida, with my Jeep, that I havent been able to drive because the battery has been dead. After a trip to the dealership and a $300.00 diagnostic bill and a $200.00 battery, who would have guessed it would be something as simple as the wiring fir my speaker box was done incorrectly!!!!!! Ill never recommend this spot to anybody, ever.

Called Active sounds because I needed help on installing my aftermarket radio dash kit, the manager assisted me as much as possible and I was able to install the kit with no problem. Good vibes anybody else would have charged you for just the advise 😂

Great Tint Job also cracked both door panels the 2nd time cause the guy was rushing after having me wait for 3 hrs . was tryin to wait on the guy to replace for me but you know how that went

I bought a complete system from Active Sounds yesterday and it sounds great for hundreds less than the other car stereo shops on High Point Rd. The salesmen were very knowledgeable and the installers were top notch. When I got my car back I could not believe how good of a job they did. I would definitely recommend.

I had a GREAT experience with these guys!Went in to get a tire stretched one of my rims & I was out in less than an hour ready to roll. That was dismounting the old tire and getting the new one on! They dont just do audio, guys!

Bought a Dual pop out screen September 17. They installed my stereo nicely. A few months later my dual had a malfunction and had to be sent to the factory. Ive been checking up on my stereo every month since then. Active sounds promised to replace my stereo with another flip screen since its almost been a year since my first stereo was sent to factory. Ive now moved out of state and was promised new stereo would be sent in the mail. Nothing has been sent and now Im down 300$ and upset. Worst CUSTOMER service ever. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

The subwoofer in my car stop working and I couldnt figure out why. I took my car in and they diagnosed the problem and fixed it for me in almost no time at all. I had a lot of concerns and difficulties on my part, but they worked with me and we were able to work things out. That was two months ago and everything is still working fine. They may be even better than before.

Pretty good, didnt get any work done but the staff was very knowledgeable. Got alot of great advise and will do business with them in the future.

Today I took my car to have the windows tinted at their Winston Salem location at Cooks Flea Market and they did a great job and he also gave me a great price. I have a lifetime warranty and he told me that if anything happened to my tint they would fix it for me. I would recommend them to other people in the Winston Salem Area.

MAN THIS PLACE!! I came on the date of 8/16/18; I ask them to put a radio in instead they cracked my dashboard and broke it and radio didn’t even get put in; waste of time! Never going to them again!

Never again, it took them 6hra to change an hid bulb and tint two front windows, my car door was scraped w the paint from their garage still on it, my lights are some cheap lights they had laying around because they didn’t have hids and they didn’t call and ask if i wanted another option they gave me what they had and the install was very sloppy parts missing from my vehicle, watch out for Mo or Moses depends on how he’s gonna scam you, a friend of mines told me he took a part of of his car while doin an install smh, i wouldn’t trust this place!
