I spoke too soon, so Im changing my review.. They wont call me back after telling them I needed different wheels on the office chair I bought. Ive called multiple times, and when they tell Michelle who it is, suddenly she cant talk. I even talked to Ken and told him what I needed, text him the pictures he requested, and never heard back. They were very friendly and accommodating to get the sale. Too bad. I would have been a repeat customer and told others to go there.

Simply a WONDERFUL shopping experience! Arrived at Gate City Emporium after seeing their Ad displayed on Facebook Marketplace, was wonderfully greeted by Ken. It was a pleasant experience working with Ken to find an office chair for my partner, that we returned a couple of weeks later to give them our business again. Ken made the experience great with his attentive customer service. Never lets you leave without feeling important and feeling like a valued customer! He is the epitome of GREAT customer service. Will continue to return to Gate City Emporium for my and my familys furniture needs!

They have the same exact products which you can buy online, for MUCH cheaper rates. I got an office chair for my home office from here and it was about 30 dollars cheaper + it was assembled! Friendly staff who helped me navigate through the store and also guided me on my choices. Highly recommended!

No masks on any employee. The man I spoke with continued to walk close to me after I backed up from him multiple times. NC is the 10th worst state in the country for the virus, and we are currently under a mask mandate. Made me beyond uncomfortable and angry for the safety of employees. Also they basically only stock office chairs?
