Probably the worst Food Lion you could possibly go to in Greensboro. If youre from Greensboro, you know why, thats all I gotta say. There isnt anything wrong with the area or demographics, the store is just literally the worse, ever. They never have stock on anything, the store is always dirty, and for the most part the staff is just never having a good day and like to take it out on customers. If none of that bothers you, then go right ahead. The prices are the same as any other Food Lion, so thats about all they got going on for them.

All the staff is friendly and helpful and I liked how upon multiple visits Ive witnessed cashiers disinfect between customers. I also valued how they seem to pay attention to how many customers are in line. Theyre quick to open another register when needed.

Customer Service is great and they always have what I need in stock ( S. Holden Rd location) even during the holidays❤

The grocery store isn’t too bad, but the parking here makes it worth not ever coming. The parking lot is tiny for the amount of business they get. It’s trashy. This Food Lion sits beside of a Family Dollar which is just as busy as they are. This grocery store is in my neighborhood and there isn’t another for a few miles. I dread coming here. Sometimes I will make the drive to the Food Lion on church street just to avoid this place.

The reason why food lion is getting this 5 star rating is because of a cashier by the name of MS.DEBBIE she is a old lady and she has to work like the rest of us. Here is the thing about Debbie I always notice she never complain always say were ever you want me Ill go. She is always nice to customers so today I said I need to let the public know about ms. Debbie u cant miss here she works over with us brothers and sisters but she is a real nice older white lady. You cant judge everyone by color.

I was able to get everything needed, the store clean and organize, the parking lot was not the greatest and the parking lot was not easy to get in or out.

I like food lion stores since I dont see the nasty girl that works in the deli but I do not understand why is it a problem when sliced cheese is a problem layering it with sheets in between

I’ve always been a loyal Food Lion customer. However, I try to stay away from this location. I don’t feel safe due to the different crimes that have taken place here. I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

2 Registers open with long lines. One other cashier comes to register 3 and decides to open the line for 2 employees who had carts full of groceries.That was unfair and unprofessional..You have 2 lines thats backed up but u open up for 2 employees in UNIFORM WITH A CARTS FULLLL OF GROCERIES and mentioned one was still on the clock.what happened to US customers 1st.ughhhh

I went in looking for a certain item. I came across am employee and he helped me to find it. When he saw that the space it was usually in was empty, he went in the back and brought out more. He was very friendly and nice. I may start shopping at this store more as the produce looked fresher than some of the sister stores!

We all know about this foodlion but for those who dont its trashed, more like a black family reunion in one place, they barely carry the grocies you need because it stays packed.

There was a manager named Deborah who provided excellent customer service after 2 other businesses had me in my feelings over the poor customer service I received... Businesses lose a lot of money nc their workers dont have the right kind of attitude... I give her a five!!!

The cashier had two different prices up. One on her screen and one on mine and when I told her I was using the food stamps she looked confused when I repeated myself and showed her she said its ok. I just walked off

I was surprised by Food Lion - just goes to show that flash doesnt necessarily mean substance. The store is clean, the staff knowlegeable, vast options including many specialty items and ranges. Food Lion carries a full selection of Duplin wines - one of NCs best vineyards. The prices are low and the quality high - you cant beat that!

Food Lion was great. The store was clean, well stocked and the staff was very friendly. They were also neat and clean. There were a lot of sales. The Manager was on top of her game. Registers were steady being opened as people approached to check out. I will be going there more often. Thank you Food Lion.

Too high. Traveled there from across town trying to get some deals and that ish was higher than where I normally go out Battleground. I think they up the prices in less prominent neighborhoods and thats really a damn shame. $2.99 for this little block of frozen Glory greens that will barely feed 2 people. Wont waste my gas ever again.

The employees who work at this location are extremely polite and all of them will assist customers with their shopping needs. The store needs improvement on stocking more paper products so all customers have an opportunity to purchase paper towels and toilet paper.

They do have some good employees that go the extra mile and present good customer service, but for the most part some are very rude and not helpful, I have purchased some products and they have either already been moldy before I even opened them or before the supposed expiration date. The lines have been ridiculous long several times. But overall like I rated, its a pretty okay place!

Never has cash back they are always out of everything. And they do not sanitize the carts very well.

I come here all the time!! Besides the 1 or 2 young ladies that are too rude to speak to customers i love this place. Clean/close to home. Just has those 2 young ladies that were terribly rude to me on multiple occasions, and atleast 4 other customers Ive seen. Saying Hello to customers goes a long way when youre the cashier.

Bought strawberries 3/$5 on Tuesday before the sale went off. By Thursday morning they were a moldy mess.

Staff could a bit more inviting, only a select few that work here smile and converse with customers.

Well stocked variety of food items. Clean store and bathrooms (E Market Street), Good customer service.Items somewhat pricey, probably due to theft and inflation.

Would have given this store 5 of those guys but Darius rubbed me the wrong way. Luckily the Manager defused the situation. I give credit to him without prejudice. Customer service is a fragile art and in this location, and customers in this present day it can be hard to locate a genuine apology. Thanks and keep up the great work.

I love Food Lion and this place has been around for a long time. It lost a lot of its luster many years ago but Im glad they made some changes so Im back to shopping here.

Pretty good variety of things in this store. Good location for the community it serves. Have sales and a free loyalty discount card. Unfortunately has unpleasant people hanging around the store all the time so you must be careful. Dont leave your car open.

I went to the food lion on east market Street I was so amazed the place was clean as hell the employees were clean professional and uniforms clean so I put them to the test I went to there bathroom to see if this was real omg they got it going on bathroom was so clean it was unreal so I asked the girl to let me speak to the manager she called him on the radio with no attitude at all this Roger pops up fast and I was so amazed go and buy your food from food lion on east market trust me cant go wrong

I hadnt been to this location in years. I went there today and bought a bag of Justins brand organic peanut butter cups. I bit into one and it was stale. I checked the bottom of the bag and they had expired a year ago. I call this poor inventory control.

This is my go to store. Great sales every week, great prices in general and Id say 9 times out of 10 the customer service is superb. Have only had 1 issue in 3 years and it was handled much better than expected.

This food lion have like 10 cash registers but only like 2 be open at a time so people always have to wait long lines and fruits are always bad
