I’ve bought several “items” from Powers over the past several years, they are always very knowledgeable and eager to assist, and will have a great conversation with you. There is no pressure to buy anything, and they will certainly take time to explain everything and help. Please check them out and support the “mom and pop” shop before going to a big store. Prices are competitive and you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent service!!! We consigned 14 guns with Powers Firearms. They inspected and researched each gun to determine realistic sales prices. They took the time to explain things. They advertised the items on their Facebook page. Most of the guns sold within 3 weeks -- much quicker than expected! Highly recommend.

Powers firearms is by far my favorite local gun shop. They have great customer service and a decent selection. Ive almost aways found their prices to be competitive, even when they are a little high, (which is rare) their prices are still within the ball park.Im not sure where some of the bad reviews are coming from. Ive been going to powers for 10 years and Ive never had a bad experience. Try it for yourself and make your own opinion, Im 100% confident you wont disappointed.

An excellent place to purchase firearms. A family owned business that’s very up to date on all aspects of firearms. Unlike big box stores Rick and his family will take time to assist customers with picking up the right firearm that would suit their needs. I have purchased firearms from Powers along with putting several up for sale under consignment. All transactions were smooth and provided a personal touch. The prices there are very competitive for both new and used firearms. They also have “blue label “ pricing for law enforcement on select firearms. Additionally, there is a really good gunsmith available there twice a week.

I always do my research before I buy and Powers consistently maintains the fairest pricing. Powers also consistently offers great service after the sale, as with everything there are sometimes issues that arise that are beyond the retailers control and Powers has always gone above and beyond to make sure that any issue is resolved quickly. Wonderful first experience in a gun shop felt welcomed

I have purchased firearms from these folks in the past. My experiences were great and I have found their prices to be very good for a brick and mortar store. I purchased a CZ from them that had a number of issues and it was a nightmare situation for me. CZ refused to fix the gun even though it was new but Powers Firearms stepped into the situation with the manufacturer and was able to get me a new replacement gun. You will not find a big box or online gun shop that will do this for you!

This family owned business provided me outstanding service. I can honestly say they value your business, they value veterans, they value law enforcement and they value the everyday homeowner. I am not sure what experiences some of the others have had, but at no time did I feel like I was I being profiled being a person of color. I have actually had great conversations with all the personnel who worked at this location. Lets be truly frank and open, now a days you have to be somewhat selective as to whom you sell firearms to, look at the everyday news and the heartbreaking stories which are unfolding due to mismanagement of firearms. I can honestly say what I enjoyed about this location is, eventhough this store is small and doesnt carry the overhead of corporate stores, they take the time out to research what you are looking for and offer to get it for you. In corporate America, there is not an organization who doesnt make money off of you, bigger entities give bigger breaks, but if we believe they are not making major money off of us in other aspects, then we are fooling ourselves.

The people that work here are extremely rude and uneducated in the area of DOJ and ATF rules and regulations. DO NOT have your firearms shipped from out of state to this place.. They charge triple what everyone else charges.. I highly recommend that you choose a different firearms establishment to do your business with.

Good people great guns new and used at good prices

Was profiled as soon as i walked into the door.. The lady that works there is EXTREMELY rude unless you are an older white gentleman (I am Caucasian myself).. They sell firearms for double and triple what their value is.. $1200 for a butchered Lee Enfield should explain things.. 20 years of going to gun stores and ive never experienced the rudeness and shear disrespect these ppl showed.. I highly reccomend against this place..

I went in looking for a front sight adjustment tool for my AR-15 that I had just built. Not being familiar with the AR the guys at Powers told me I could use a 5.56 round to adjust the post. A few months later I went in for some handgun ammunition and asked for a good defensive round for the .380. I bought what they recommended and went home to do an internet search for that particular brand. They sold me one of the highest rated rounds and at a price that was only a few dollars (less than five) more than the online ammunition dealer I normally go through. They have a wide variety of accessories and I will definitely be going back for more. Top notch operation all the way.
