I was assisted right away and they were very pleasant and knowledgeable! The prices were excellent. I expected to pay way more than the box store and actually paid less or the same. Will definitely shop here again!!

Today I needed a few items in the hunting area. It is always nice to see that this hardware store has what I need. They have Stihl chainsaws. They sell ammo for that person who likes to hunt. They sell Milwaukee Tools at a great price.

This is the friendliest hardware store in Greensboro! They have been very helpful with our community garden project that our school is trying to get off the ground and running. When we have ground provisions questions, we go to them for the answers! They will tell you exactly just what you need to make your garden grow.🪴

Fantastic store with excellent customer service! i was looking for a hard to find door knob and called the store to check to see if they had it in stock. Mark, one of the co-owners, was so incredibly helpful both on the phone and in the store. He treated me like family and ensured that I found just what I was looking for. The representative at the Stihl counter was very friendly, too. My thanks to him and to Mark for making my shopping experience at McKnight Hardware such a positive one.

This family owned business has a very knowledgeable, helpful and wonderful staff. They always have what I need, and are ready, willing and able to answer any questions. Kinda like Cheers, where everybody knows your name!

Terrific hardware store! I love this place. You can pick a hose for your ice maker, a hat to keep your head shaded, blades for your mower and get a new key made all in one place. Helpful staff too!

Went to the store as it was highly recommended from a friend of mine. Was able to get a STIHL chainsaw and even had all my questions answered to ensure I got the best one. Helped me get all the best safety equipment and fuel and lube. Was in and out all set in 15 minutes! Lots of other neat stuff too in order to get projects done.

Do not get any keys made here. I had to return 3 times to get the keys redone. Keys still did not work. They mess the original key up. And then want to charge for another cut of the key. They did not cut the first time right. Just end up costing more money and time. Im so disappointed and time wasted. Just go to Lowes.

Very friendly staff. I told them what I needed and why and they were very knowledgable about my situation and actually gave me pointers and tips and recommended a better product than what I initially went there to purchase!

I have been buying all my stihl equipment from them for about four years. Backpack blowers, weed eaters hedge trimmers,chainsaws. The service department is great! They also have just about everything you can think of. I like to look around the store.

I went in to get a key made for my car. Once the key was made I went to my car to test it out and it would not fit in my ignition. Due to the fact that the key was to bulky. So I go back in and tell the guy that made the key so he uses one of the tools to shave the black part around my key down. He then proceeds to come out to my car with me and he’s like there it fits now. I’m pretty sure that he just didn’t want to give my $74and some change back.I come back to the store and approach an older gentleman about the situation and tells me that I’m a liar. I shop in this store often and I get keys made here often. But to come in this store and blatantly be called a liar was just baffling and for this reason alone. I will never step foot in this store again.

Found exactly what I was looking for. Floor personnel were so courteous... even loaded my packages. Saw sooo many nostalgic things that reminded me of visiting my grandparents in rural eastern NC. Its crowded but seems to have an abundance of character. It was soothing listening to the elder regular customers talk with the employees. Could tell there were many connections and diversity was inclusive. Love this store.

I called down I called down there and asked if they sharpened shears the man said yes bring them on down when I got there the guy who sharpened the shears wasnt there and he wouldnt be there till Tuesday and I drove 45 minutes to get there not happy

One of the worst experience ever. I went to get copy of keys made last Wednesday. A contracted worker (remodeling the store) and 2 customers were engaging in highly offense and unprofessional conversations. I addressed staff at the front of what was happening. I was informed that the 3 persons were not employees. I returned back to the key station to find that one of the men actually was a contracted worker to help remodel McKnight Hardware. Long story short the management nor front counter persons took my concerns seriously and failed to address my legit issues. I’m hoping to find a corporate office.

1st (and last) time visiting this shop. Stopped by with high expectations because other Ace stores Ive visited are very clean and helpful.Masks not worn correctly, or at all, by much of the staff, and by many of the customers, despite the sign on the door. At this point in the coronavirus pandemic I would expect a shop to have the safety of their customers and their own staff as a priority.Ill stick with the other Ace stores that choose safety as a priority.

Went here to find a screw for my mower. I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked in the store. I was walking through the aisles and I man quickly asked what I needed and was able to call someone to the aisle that the items were on. The customer service of this place is definitely better than larger stores and refreshing.

Had purchased home improvement items for a beach house at an ACE Hardware location 325 miles away and tried to return them (unused and still in original package) to the local ACE store. Was initially told by the sales clerk that no returns were allowed at a different ACE store and when I returned to the store (after a phone call to the ACE Customer Service number where I was told that returns of items purchased at another ACE store in fact would be processed), I was told by a different clerk that items could only be returned if the local store stocked the same item (which this store did not). Lesson learned-if Im purchasing out of town I will shop at Lowes or Home Depot where I know I can return any item.

Great selection on the Stihl saw I was looking for but NO employees had face masks or registers no protective shields. If they dont think our or their employee safety is important, i would not shop there.

They will even give me a 10% Discount on full case lots of what I order through them. What a Deal! Out of about 10 employees, maybe 3 had on masks. I wont go back there any time soon. I like the business, but with that kind of disregard for their customers, Ill be staying away for the foreseeable future.

This is a locally owned hardware store like what boomers grew up with. I get my Charlies Soap products there, as well as garden plants & supplies. There are friendly folks there who will answer any questions you have to help you with your projects. Also hunting stuff.

They have more than the other hardware stores... For seed hay wood and even those things you were looking for and couldnt find... They have it here and still have that feeling like your family...
