Basic Handgun course was very good, instructors are patient and provide very good tips on how proper handling of handgun, position when firing, and how to more accurately hit your target. I would definitely take a class again.

Been at this range a few times with my grandson and one of my adult daughters. Store and range our clean and maintained. Selection of firearms and related items is good. The waiting area is a nice bonus. The staff has always been friendly and easy to communicate with.The stalls for the range our decent size. I think the range is 20 yards. I booked this class for my daughter. She and I took the class together. Good use of rime in classroom and range. Well worth the money. Rob did a great job and staff is always friendly!!! Going to take the CC class next.

I’ve transferred 2 firearms to this location in 2020 ….both purchased separately..always a delay in my background check……no problem….I get it in 3 to 7 days……I did a transfer October 12, 2021….. got delayed as usual ….paid transfer fee of $75…waited seven days …didn’t hear back from the store…SO I CALLED…THEY SAID THE BRADY ACT IS NO LONGER A LAW…so I went to the store….to retrieve my shotgun….to find out…. now they have a store policy …that is verbal…..nothing on paper …on there website …..that they can’t release my shotgun till they get a proceed from the NICS……AND THEY NO LONGER HONOR THE BRADY BILL R BRADY ACT…..THESE PEOPLE R VIOLATING MY RIGHTS AS A LEGAL GUN OWNER ….AND IM LICENSED TO CARRY in the state of INDIANA…as well…..I read some of the negative comments about this store in GREENWOOD INDIANA…. AND THEY MIGHT B RIGHT IF U NOT A MEMBER …U GET TREATED DIFFERENT….ITS BEEN 17 DAYS …STILL NO CALL TO PICK UP MY FIREARM…..WILL NEVER TRANSFER R PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN !!!.....UPDATE about Greenwood Shoot point blank....They responded with MORE.....inaccurate information..according to Kyle the store manager at the Greenwood location...SAID...the person who responded to my review.... was not the owner....and that the reply he gave was the....law in OHIO....IT GETS BETTER...I requested to have the shotgun sent to a neighbouring fire arms dealer......cause I was tired of the wait...and changing info I was getting from KYLE JAVEN and JAMES....all Greenwood shoot point blank employees.....So they said no problem.....this was on 11/02/2021.....they said they would ship it to them....so I asked will I get my $75 back...I paid when I initially filled out the background form...for the transfer FEE....James said NO..it will go towards the the shipping of the shotgun...I said Cool....so will I get the remaining balance back...cause I know it doesnt cost $75 to ship a package....James said NO....So now we have a PROBLEM...AGAIN.....I hung up.....So James calls back a couple minutes later....saying we are not going to ship it back to my requested arms dealer...we r going to ship it back to the arms dealer ..the shotgun originally came from....which is in Terre Haute Indiana...I said no u r not....u r going to ship it too the arms dealer I requested...especially if u using my money to ship it...James said its our money.....SHOCKER HUH!!!!....so I tell James...if thats.. his real name... we r going to have a field day with u all.....James said r u threatening me?.....I said....ull see what I mean in COURT...and hung up.....so I called again on...11/05/2021..to see if they shipped the package ....JAVEN...said YES.....I asked to where?....he said to the firearms dealer I had requested.....so I asked...if he had a tracking# ....he said NO.....so i asked....what carrier did u send it with....Javen....said FEDEX....I said....THANK U ..and hung up...NOW the place I originally purchased the firearm in Terre Haute Indiana...emailed me my purchase receipt ($1,568.98)..($17.48) was the shipping cost...and a email with the tracking # before they shipped it to shoot point blank in Greenwood.......IM posting this to show the customer service ISSUES that I have had with this store...in hopes to ...lead other Citizens ...to another Firearms Dealer...cause this behaviour is ridiculous ...and it may b because Im not a member of this ...WORTHLESS BUSINESS...THE END....HOPEFULLY

Extremely enjoyed my basic handgun class I have shot before but it has been buchu’s of years I felt my instructor was on point he knew what he was talking about and it doesn’t hurt that his history included being a marine I encourage anyone to take his class he won’t regret it

The class was extremely helpful. The instructor was knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and provide practical real life examples that applied in every case! Highly recommended!

Excellent. As a person who had never touched a gun before, Dave was an outstanding instructor.

Called ahead to make sure they had a specific gun, they said they had what we wanted and ready for us today. We asked them to put it aside and we’ll be there in 2 hours, they agreed, we hung up, drove 2 hours, only to then be told the gun was on layaway with 5 people waiting for it and we couldn’t buy it. Drove 4 hours today for nothing because they didn’t check what they had available.

This was my first, and last time purchasing a firearm from this store. The “new” firearm I purchased was NOT new. I brought the gun to my local gunsmith to have different grips and a new front sight installed. That is when I found out that the firearm had been previously worked on, or taken apart, quite a bit. The tell tale signs were the numerous scratches on the internal locator pin (due to frequent removal), and the undeniable fact that the included push tool that comes inside the grip was missing. I watched the grips being removed with my own eyes so I know the gunsmith didn’t simply drop it or misplace it.Buyer beware! They already got me. Don’t let this happen to you. It’s your decision wether or not to heed my advice. With that said….I would definitely shop around.

Its a nice gun range. The people are friendly and they have a reasonable selection of stuff. Im not sure how knowledgeable all the employees are of the actual firearms that they sell but seem to have a general knowledge. They dont let you go over a single minute on the shooting range though. They should be a little more relaxed with the gun range time. Especially if theyre still quite a few lanes open.

Staff is great, all of them really have a passion for what they do. Prices are fair and the range is well maintained. Through all this pandemic they still have many of the top firearms for sale, and their prices have stayed the same. Just a well run, well managed business.

Super nice shooting range and store! The range is climate-controlled and kept very clean; very little noise can be heard outside the range doors. It was pretty quick and painless signing up to use the range for an hour. The store is also clean and well-organized.

Great experience buying my wife a handgun. She has arthritis and he’s a hard time pulling the trigger. We test shot two selections and settled on the smaller caliber. She loves it. I love having a convenient range to go to.

Came here for the first time, never been to a shooting range before. Staff was very helpful abd friendly and gave us a proper induction on firearms because we had no shooting experience before.

We did our share of shopping around before deciding to purchase from Shoot Point Blank. They had a large selection and the prices were very reasonable. Also, they allowed us to take our time and look around without hounding us.

The staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help. The range officers are the best I’ve encountered. They give great advice and do a great job at making sure everyone follows the safety rules. I’ve purchased many firearms from SPB and will continue to come back.

Recently purchased a firearm from this location, a few weeks back. I end up receiving the wrong firearm that I thought I was purchasing. I emailed the store manager explaining my issue and that I did not receive what I had paid for. James told me not to worry, and to come into the store to exchange the firearm. I did just that, exchanged the firearm I had for the one I wanted. Overall great experience and outstanding customer service. Will be purchasing more firearms from this store, and sending people here for their firearm needs.

Good place to shoot your firearms, range is nice. However, I will always buy my guns, accessories and ammo elsewhere. Been there several times to shoot at range without complaint. Just made a quick stop into store and tried to buy some hunting rifle ammo and couple magazines from SPB and was denied purchase due to not having a membership??? Didnt have the time to go through the process and didnt want to give my personal info and get a bunch of solicitations in email, so walked out without purchasing the merchandise. Good news is my money was good at the local Rural King who had the same items at a better price.

Instructor (Mr. Rudd (sp??)) was a great teacher, very informative, funny, engaging. My wife both learned a great deal and we could not believe how fast the 4 hours went! Were already looking to come back to take another class and spend time at the range. Thank you Shoot Point Blank for making it easy.

I have always found the store helpful and most of the time they have what I need. The ranges are set up well and most of the time they have slots available . The last year has seen a big drop in availability of ammo but I do not hold that against them. More people buy guns and we all want ammo. Supply and demand. Happy hunting this fall.

I just want to say that the staff at the Greenwood location was beyond amazing and its very clean and friendly. I brought my son here for his 17th birthday and had no idea how to shoot a gun. The staff made sure they made us extremely comfortable and showed us everything we need to know and gave him a birthday experience that he will never forget. My 8 year old daughter even got a chance to shoot. We will definitely be back.

Overall very nice establishment, the employees working not so much. It’s almost like if you aren’t a member or a regular you don’t matter! Not to mention the rude older gentleman that works in the back. He does his best to make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Thanks it worked we won’t be returning

Staff has always been courteous and knowledgeable with a good eye for safety. Store is kept clean and well organized. Have always had a good experience shopping or using the range facilities.

I bought my first firearm here after shopping many places due to the staff being more friendly than other places. I became a premium member so I could purchase more ammo due to the shortage, but they ended up rarely having any ammo stock, and when they did it was way over priced. Today was $25 for a box of 50 practice. Canceled my membership until prices come back down because it’s just not worth the monthly fee if you can’t shoot. The other member benefits do not make up for the lack of ammo. Maybe one day people will realize they are not coming for your guns and you don’t need to hoard all the ammo giving the gun and ammo manufactures all the more reason to raise their prices as is done with any supply and demand issue.I did deduct a star due to multiple times I stood in the member line and others coming up after me were helped first

The class was very informative and our instructor did a great job of working with each person as needed. I definitely want to recommend this class.

Shoot at this location regularly. Range is always clean/well maintained. The range officers contribute to the feeling of safety. Ordered several items and the delivery & service are always prompt & friendly.

This is heaven for anyone into firearms. The staff is knowledgeable and there are lots of options to choose from. The ran is ran with safety as the top priority.

Would normally rate this place 4 or 5 stars. Employees usually helpful and friendly. Couldnt get any assistance tonight. No one showing anything in the cases. Eventually left the stuff I picked up to buy from the floor on the case I wanted to see in. Got tired of chasing the pack of employees around for assistance. Lost a pretty big sale tonight!

Great gun shop and range. I bought my AR15 from them and they took their time and not once did I feel rushed while I was asking questions and they were explaining what to look for in a decent rifle. I have been in there several times just to see what they have in stock and ended up just talking to them about different guns and bouncing ideas off them for upgrades etc. I have also become a range member and it has paid off in time spent checking in, and in money saved on range fees. Would highly suggest shoot point blank in Greenwood, and in fact I have to several of my friends.

I’ve been looking for ammo .45acp and a Springfield Range Officer 1911 for weeks. Went to SPB and not only did they have both, they had more firearms than anyone else. Purchased the weapon and a membership. Pistol is a tack driver. Two clicks on elevation and we were on spot. Two hundred rounds the first day and not one malfunction. Range is clean and orderly. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great 20-lane range with excellent lumination. Well-kept store with a nice selection. Middle-of-the-road pricing. Variety of classes (paid and free available). Arrived @ 11 on a Sunday and had a relatively smooth check-in. Upon exiting the range at noon, the lines had grown substantially.

Nice guns but my wife and I couldnt get anyone to help us at the counter they just went rite past us because she was in a wheelchair. Even asked only to be ignored not cool guys

I just wish it was closer. During the winter months I frequent SPB-Greenwood because its warm, friendly, and most of all professionally operated and safe. Im there at least once a week, sometimes twice a week, and will continue this frequency until its warmer outside.

Went to shoot at the range. There were two of us and we shared a lane. Everything is priced singly. Eye/eat protection, gun rental, waiver, ammo. They will automatically ring you up for the more expensive ammo, so watch that if youre trying to save your pennies. That being said, you can change out your way as often as you would like. The waiver is good for a year. If you have your own eye/ear protection and/or weapon, its much cheaper. The staff is knowledgeable, its clean and professional. Its tons of fun and totally worth the price. If you plan on going often, definitely look into the memberships. 5 stars and Ill be going back.

Dont honor the pricing listed on the firearms. Sorry labeled wrong, it is a 100 more!!! So follow up on this tried to reach out to the store manager twice with no response. He did send me an email to contact him and he would make it right, but still no call back. I must say this is why I will continue to shop at a LOCALLY owned and operated shop. Not a chain store for weapons!!!

Rented a gun and bought a box of bullets. Gun jamed at least 9 times oiu of 50 shots. Told girl at counter about it and said might need cleaning. Was hoping maybe get to try a different gun. She just said o.k. and put it back in showcase to rent again.

I went to this store and had bought a brand new p365XL and after purchasing the gun I notice a large deep scratch down the side of the gun, my paperwork for the gun was also wet as if someone dumped water on it. They have also raised their prices to almost 50% above the original price during a pandemic, who does that? I will NOT be going back to this store,

They are putting high prices on what ammo they have. I would guess they have the ammo but are told not to sell in bulk. That is BS. You should close your store until you have enough ammo. The high prices you have on your guns you should not sell a gun unless you have the ammo for it.

I’ve been coming here for a while and decided I’d have a firearm transferred here that I was buying online. I’m spacing on his name, but he explained to me the fee was pretty steep and suggested other shops. Even though I didn’t have my firearm transferred there that’s still taking damn good care of your customers.

If I could give zero stars and still leave a review I would I attempted to call before going to the Greenwood location and it rang to voicemail so I went to the location for the convenience of where I purchased my new firearm when I arrive they are ignoring the phone and tell me that they dont have any ammunition I need and that if I would have called before I came they would have told me that and during the process of them saying this they ignored two more phone calls while they had four staff members not doing anything but chit chatting

Fun experience for avid shooters and novices alike. Good for adults but kids are welcome as well. They can be as young as 7. The staff is very knowledgeable and can recommend the right firearm for any shooter. Ive never had to wait for a lane and its a fun time.

My boyfriend brought me here on New Year’s Day 2020. It was my first time at a shooting range. A pretty scary emergency took place on this day and the employees handled the situation with quick response and grace. I appreciated how the situation was handled and how customers were treated and accommodated during the aftermath.

Sold me a lemon. The springs in the clips are all rusted and the gun keeps jamming. I didnt know they were selling me the floor model until the paperwork was finished. Basically the gun is useless to me and i have to buy another one because its unreliable and I only need it in case of an emergency.

Misty is fantastic! It was my first time to a shooting range and Misty really made me feel comfortable! She walked me through the process of renting a handgun, what to look for when purchasing a handgun....she was great! I highly recommend asking for Misty the next time you visit!

Love this range, very clean, organized, reasonable prices, state of the art equipment to keep track of times at lanes, courteous and professionally trained staff that treat customers above and beyond. Good selections on newer weapons and healthy stock of a variety of supplies that you may need for your own guns, like magazines, holsters, ammo, cleaning suppies. Overall is a one stop shop comparable to the bigger retailers plus a range and buy/sell/rent advantages. Recommended for sure, great atmosphere for sure!

Being new to owning and carrying a firearm I was very comfortable at point blank from the start. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Never once did I feel belittled or talked down to for being new to guns (Ive heard this happens other places) the staff answered all my questions, showed me several weapons, and helped me pick out a holster right for me. The team at point blank is 1st class and I reccomend them to anyone looking to purchase a gun. Prices were very fair also!

First time fireing a weapon. The Staff did a fantastic job on instructing of the loading & handling. They also helped me determine which gun to purchase.

The absolute best gun range and shop in Indiana. I will never go anywhere else again I promise.. You wont either once you get inside and all of the great people that know what theyre talking about U service you as well as their great range and range safety. They also have classes with well known instructors. The absolute Top notch range here beside the outdoor, private Marion County Fish And Game. (Full range) and still point blank Id go to. They are open on Sundays as well until 7 or 8. No other range is like this I promise

Staff is awesome, very friendly and respectful to everyone, but I felt even more respected when giving proof of military service for the veteran, police, and first responder appreciation range day on Thursdays. They know their guns. The only down side is that the range can accommodate for up to a .308, but all lanes are standing lanes so it makes zeroing a new scope extremely difficult. Overall though, the range is well kept, very clean, and a blast to practice one.

This store has great flow. Wide selection of gun surplus. Friendly staff & knowledgeable. Clean. This was my first time at a firing range with my new gun. They made me fell at ease, guided my though every step. Can’t wait until I go back. It’s a must do at lest one time.

The staff was excellent, easy discussions for beginner shooters. We had a small group of 6 out there at 11 a.m. . On a Saturday, we were in and out for an hour range time pretty efficiently. They have a nice small group special that they can schedule in advance. It was nice to have someone on the Range immediately step in if we were having difficulties with a lodged bullet.They run some pretty good specials on guns as well, Im pretty happy with my 9mm!

My free range time for me and a guest cost me $22. They started the clock before I even got my receipt, and than my son and my self where repeatedly harassed by the Barney Fife want-a-be working the range. Way to expensive, and way to much trouble. Safe your money and go to a better shooting range!

Staff are friendly and welcoming. They were not head-strong, opinionated, and did not dominate the conversations like many other places. They helped guide me through some options for my wife and adapted to what she wanted, not their sales goals or personal brand loyalty. They also have classes to make new shooters feel welcomed and safe. In my opinion, this is the best place in the Greenwood area to go to find buy, rent and shoot at the range. Prices are very reasonable.

Have been going here for a little over a year now and cannot say one bad thing about this company. Constant Sales, knowledgeable personnel, great atmosphere. I have several other ranges in my area at less then half the distance but I choose to go here for all my firearms needs.

Good prices, friendly staff very willing to help. Never shot before, the girl at the counter was very helpful with recommendations for what pistol to go with as a beginner and went over handling and loading procedures. Ill definitely be back again.

Great facility. Very clean and helpful staff. I felt the range operation was efficient and safe. Only feedback was the price. A little higher than most places. But again, the range is clean, lit, functional and circulation worked well.

Tried to buy 44 mag to hunt with wouldnot sell it to me if I was not using there range so will never go there again
