Great bunch of guys, cannot say enough good things about them and the service.Was having issue with my M4 LRBHO not functioning properly but still cycled great. Really weird. Took it in to have them take a look and after a bit of looking was able to find the problem. Somehow the inside of the buffer tube had a ledge dug in that was impinging the buffer from going back far enough to engage the bolt catch.Unfortunately, they didnt have individual buffer tubes in stock that werent part of bundle/kit. Instead of charging me full kit price, they just took one of the tubes out and charges me just for the individual part and no labor! They absolutely did not have to do that but they did.Amazing customer service and will absolutely be back again.

We bought our 1st gun (a S&W M&P 9mm) from U.S. Defense and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience we had here. I had so many questions and Chad was extremely helpful and professional in answering everything. Chad knows his stuff and took his time showing us different guns and explaining the different features/styles/etc. We left there feeling very comfortable and knowledgeable about the gun we purchased. Now Im ready to go back and purchase our 1st rifle.

Dont bother with these people, they cant have a simple civil conversation and take constructive criticism. A lot of gun stores have an intimidating feel when walking in. Not this place. All the people working here made me feel comfortable right when I walked in the door. I talked two of the owners and they were so nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Been here a few times on visits to home while on leave. A great place with great people. Every time I visited the store I was treated with respect and kindness. The Company even donated/sent me and my squad custom dust covers for our rifles while I was deployed in Afghanistan back in 2013 when my Father visited and asked about having one made for me. This was before I had even personally been to the store. Stand up people run this place.

Ive been going to the guys at US Defense Solutions for a few years now, wont go anywhere else. Their knowldege and expertise are second to none. They always treat you like they want you there and not just a dollar sign walking through the door. If you go anywhere else, youre doing yourself a disservice.

First time gun buyer, had a great experience! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly! On a side note, we went to Shoot Point Blank and the Indy Gun Bunker the same day shopping around, and although USDS was a much smaller shop, we felt they were able to help us more, as the other facilities were out of a lot and were so busy it was really uncomfortable. Plus USDS had an online catalog! Purchased a Sig Sauer P320-x and a AR-15 lower for self assembly.. all around great experience! Fired 400+ rounds out of the P320 so far, great firearm! Its no surprise why its the US armys sidearm of choice.

They have excellent store brand lower receivers, and even occasionally a hard to find gem of a pistol. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.

This is by far the best gun shop I have ever been too. They provide the best customer service and are more than willing to go above and beyond to help a customer out. Another aspect I like about USDS, is they are open 7 days a week and I can’t find any place that has cheaper transfer fees.

US Defense Solutions is the best firearms store around. The employees are down to earth, knowledgeable, and respectful. I have been in many times and its a great place to purchase firearms/accessories, or just hang out. I have never witnessed any of the allegations that the negative reviews on here refer to. I imagine they were written by Clinton supporters or had a bad attitude going in. There are gun shops I will not spend money in or even visit due to the attitude of the staff and how they treat people, this store is not one of those.

Theyve always been helpful with me. They even installed a sling mount on my Rifle for me, which was helpful. There can be a lot of regulars in there that just want to talk, and sometimes it can lead to you having to wait a little longer to get help. Overall, I like the shop and its close to my house. I like the idea of giving back to small businesses, so I will continue to give them my business.

I picked up a transfer from Chad today. $15 cash for a transfer is as good as it gets. Very nice, clean shop and Chad was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Unlike some folks, I did not deliberately feign ignorance about a very rare, unknown weapon to try and catch these guys in some sort of twisted trap proving they dont know every nuance of every firearm ever built. Good lord - some people....I did, however, come in to browse and have done some transfers from onlines sales as well. Ive been met with professional, knowledgeable staff and will return frequently.

I loved this place. But the last few times I have been there they have had an awful attitude. I was going to spend money there but they were too busy talking to their regulars about nonsense. I wont shop here again. I have been a customer since the day they opened (heck I even walked in there before they even opened because I didnt know they were still setting the store up). But the last few times I have gone in they have had awful attitudes and they want to treat you like you are an idiot. I used to send them a bunch of business but I wont send people to places that are rude to their customers.I want to give an update. Chad did reach out and try to fix the issue and I do applaud him for that. That is why I took away the 1 star.

Chad, Mike and Jacob all know their facts for the most part when it comes to firearms and what they dont know they will happily find time to find out for you. Plus they are all very nice guys. They helped me out through a hard time when I had to move and my father was dying. Dont go into the store with an attitude and you wont get one. Any bad reviews must have been when they caught a worker in a bad mood. It happens to everyone, nobody is peaches and cream everyday all day. Suck it up.

I am new to the AR-15 platform and firearms (aside from shotguns) in general. The guys as USDS never made me feel like they were talking down to me or thought less of me because I did not know as much about guns and the AR-15 platform specifically. They then built a 300 BLK for me, which has been absolutely stellar. I highly recommend the shop to anyone I talk to.

This is the best gun store in Indiana, hands down. Whether youre a regular or a complete stranger, youll be greeted as you come through the door and treated with respect. USDS, as the name suggests is a self defense oriented store, with a large focus on the AR platform. Theres a fantastic spectrum of AR components available, and priced competitively. If you arent comfortable installing something yourself, or lack the proper tools, theyll install most things you buy from them free of charge. They also have a great selection of sporting firearms as well. Prices are exceptional, and if they dont have what you need, they can order it and have it in a matter of days. The knowledge base of the staff is unbeatable. Whether you have a question about carry guns, competition, or a new AR build, these guys have the competency to give you a real answer, not just regurgitate something they read on the internet. Some of the less positive reviews sound more like a customer issue than anything else. To the guy with a backpack: thanks for your life story, but going into a shop with a backpack on is odd. And Id wager that Mike simply asked you what was in it because he thought you had something to show them, because what weirdo goes into a small shop with a backpack? Sounds like the rest of your experience was clouded by your attitude in response to your question. Ive yet to see Mike, Chad or Jake not go above and beyond for their customers in any instance. If you havent been to USDS yet, make a visit, youre sure to find something you cant live without.
