The walk-in refrigerator at our food pantry was found to be wet and warming after hours on a Friday evening. The Mark IV emergency line was called and our message was responded to promptly. A plan was agreed upon and the technician arrived early Saturday morning to check things out. The issue was resolved quickly and our walk-in was cooling off within the hour.

AC should be like background scenery: reliably and unobtrusively there, doing its thing, out of sight and out of mind. But every summer something goes haywire with our AC system--which was installed and maintained by Mark IV--and we end up calling them to fix it. We feel like were getting nickel-and-dimed on service calls.Mark IV installed the AC system in our commercial building years before I purchased it. One of the two units has never effectively cooled its half of the building. After multiple service calls we were finally told The duct system was designed incorrectly. Thats why that area never cools effectively. And it will cost ~$10,000 to put in a properly designed duct system. But we paid for two or three inconclusive service calls before they sent a tech with enough know-how to find the problem.Last summer one of the AC units that Mark IV installed broke. They were able to track down the problem, but then had to order a part to fix it. We waited. It was the wrong part, so they had to reorder it. We waited again. Finally after 3 weeks of suffering through 90-degree weather they got the right part and got it installed.Its been a frustrating relationship. They do eventually get things working again, but I dont think a properly installed AC system should require $1000 or $2000 of maintenance/repair every summer.

Rented soft serve ice cream machine for sons graduation party. They were helpful when placing order and machine and paperwork were ready when we picked it up. Machine worked great. They responded quickly over the weekend when we had a question when setting up. Would definitely use again.,

This would have been a 5 star rating had the first call for which I was charged netted at least a diagnosis (other than I don’t know).The tech who normally services our equipment came after my next call to the office for help. Steve was very thorough in diagnosing.the problem, found the culprit part failure and a day later after getting the part he efficiently recovered the refrigerant, installed the part, tested, evacuated and refilled the system. It works like a champ now!Steve was very efficient, courteous and informative.My suggestion to management is if you are going to charge for a service call, make sure a service is performed. Not knowing the answer is not a chargable call in my mind.

My husband and I called Mark IV to do a preventative check up on our heating system before winter arrives. Steve the service representative arrived wearing a protective face mask and shoe covers before entering our house. He checked and cleaned the system thoroughly inside and out. He recorded the output readings for the heating elements to insure they will perform well and made sure the blower motor is in good working order. He also checked our return air duct and recommended they be cleaned. He was here just over an hour and went over his report with us. Steve was very pleasant to talk to and he was courteous and professional. Were feeling confident our older system is going to be fine for the next season. Thank you Steve and thank you Mark IV. Had an emergency with our heating. We had never used Mark IV but we will for now on! A tech showed up, checked our furnace, and had us back with heat! We were told it was a maintenance issue. This just goes to show you, those big HVAC companies can come out and charge big bucks to “clean” your furnace and not do such a good job. We now have a maintenance plan with Mark IV! Everyone is super friendly!

Mark IV was my second call for an estimate when our furnace went out on a 10 degree day during a snow storm. The first company I called inspected the unit, tried to get it heating again but could not, charged me for the visit and gave me a very high price quote for a new unit. Mark IV arrived within one hour of my call and had heat blowing 2 hours later and charged a reasonable price. (5 Stars!) They also advised that a new unit is on the horizon soon but I have a little more time now to plan. Mark IV installed our last HVAC unit with great service at what felt like a fair price so, Ill stick with them again. Thanks!

Sadly disappointed with the tech who installed my unit. The unit had two leaks. One was gas. When I called to have it checked, he came out and assured me that there were no leaks. However 8 months later the ordor was still present in the garage where the unit is housed. A different tech return and found the leak. The second leak was water due to a poor fitting pipe connection.From the reviews Im sure this is good company. I just hope this tech has received some additional training. Glad that I continued to call despite the installers comment about me doing so.

We’ve used Mark IV in 2 houses. Old house we replaced duct work, new furnace and new ac. They are experts and did a full heat loss and heat gain analysis. They are a reputable business and I know I’m getting experts with each visit. Fast forward in the new house they didn’t install our equipment but they have maintained it and always done great work and been fair on pricing for the level of expertise we receive. Mark has great peopleWorking for him.

Mark IV HVAC came to my home for a second opinion. They told me my heat exchanger was not cracked and I did not need a new furnace. I was very impressed with Kyle Rhodes professionalism and work ethic. So when I needed service at my wifes business I called them out to repair her hanging furnace. Unfortunately this time we did need to replace the unit and Kyle was able to order and schedule a new unit to be installed the same week. I highly recommend Mark IV HVAC.

Mark IV came out three times over the last month and a half to work on our ice machine. The first of those three times was on July 9, 2020. Kyle was the tech who performed the work. He spent nearly the entire afternoon there and took the machine completely apart. When he finished he said it was fully cleaned and even used nitro to clear the water line. He also said that a filter would help to keep it from being serviced more than every six months. The same information about using a filter was mentioned when they came out in February before the statewide shutdown due to the pandemic.We decided to get a filter installed and that was done on July 22nd.The July 9th invoice was $587.55The July 22nd invoice to install the filter was $474.95Between those two visits the invoices totaled $1,062.50 to fix the ice machine.Three weeks later the ice began coming out in blocks and needed to be chiseled to break it apart.I called Mark IV again and asked why this was happening so soon after it was just serviced.They came out again and found a large amount of lime buildup that was causing the water to flow over the top of the vents on each side making solid blocks.The bill for this service was $287.50.Its obvious to me that the service done on July 9th was poorly done. A newly serviced machine is not going to have large amounts of lime buildup in that short time.In my opinion the tech who was there on July 9th didnt fully know how to service the machine for which he spent all afternoon working on and which we were highly billed. Then, charged another $287.50 to come back and fix his work.Im not too happy to have spent $1,350 in a month and a half to service an ice not. Highly overcharged for the time and quality of work done.

We experienced an A/C issue early Friday morning before the 4th of July weekend. I placed a call before office hours and Kyle was dispatched to our home within an hour and a half. Kyle quickly diagnosed and repaired our issue in a friendly and professional manner and our A/C system was back up and running for the holiday weekend.

Our neighbors had a very positive experience and when we needed help with our air conditioning unit during the summer, we called them. Amazing service and we knew we would use them in the future. Last night our furnace stopped working. Today Jason fixed the furnace and other issues with how the system was vented. Services always is either early or exactly on time and we will utilize them for any of our heating or air conditioning needs moving forward. Extremely please with them!

We have worked with Mark IV for the past two years for our semi-annual check-ups. Recently our AC seemed to not be working effectively. We called for an appointment and Amanda scheduled us for an appointment within 48 hours which seemed very reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised to have Tim drop by the very next day to see what our issue might be. Tim tried a few solutions over the next couple of days (including a weekend day) but ultimately we needed a new part. This was ordered and arrived within a week. During that time Tim checked in with us several times to insure we were comfortable. Bottom line: great service and attention to detail. They treated us like family.

A very knowledgeable technician showed up as scheduled to do the regular maintenance on our two furnaces. When he was finished, he did a good job explaining what he had done and what was needed. Their people are always friendly and efficient.

I had an old furnace that started blowing cold air. I friend referred me to Mark IV, after being quoted an outrageous price from another company. I spoke with Amanda and explained my situation and she had Tim (Technician) to give me a call and he was able to come out on the same day! He gave me some good options and estimates which were much lower than that other company. Within a couple of days, they were able to install my new furnace with a heat pump. Found Mark IV on Groupon and after checking the reviews decided to have them come out to do a tune-up on our 5 y/o heat pump. The technician (Jason) arrived on time and was thorough with the inspection taking notes and measuring the performance. Weve never had a house with a heat pump so he answered our questions about some of the odd sounds and cycles that it runs through. Overall, Id recommend giving them a call!

A company that I dont worry is taking advantage of me. They do everything by code and the book. Period. They will take the time if needed to analyze your system and give recommendations to make it more efficient/effective. If you have problems with your home or business being to hot in the summer or to cold in the winter, they are the group to call.

Mark IV installed a new HVAC system after our 14 year old unit died. Mark personally came out and explained in detail how he assessed what size unit we needed. He was careful to make sure the system we picked would work for our house. He also helped us understand how the new unit would work more efficiently for us.The installation went quickly and the service technician took the time to explain all the work that was done and taught us how to use the new thermostat. We are so happy that we went with Mark IV! We got quotes from other companies and they wanted several thousands more for units that were bottom of the barrel. The owner himself came out and measured our home shortly after I called and then he sat down with us and broke everything down. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and really took his time explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. He made sure that we got the best units (furnace and AC) for the best price. The team who came out and completed the install was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They found mistakes that the builders had made when our home was built and made sure that everything was fixed and wired correctly. They completed the job in a few hours and the owner came to make sure we were satisfied and that everything was perfect. He then called a few hours later to make sure our house was cooling down. The second floor of our home has always been several degrees warmer than the first, and, now both floors are the same temp! My fiancé and I are ecstatic and so happy we went with Mark IV! We’ll definitely be recommending them to our family, friends and neighbors. (My fiancé was so impressed by Mark the owner that we’ll be using him when our water heater goes out)

Found heat sensor needing cleaning and replaced faulty thermostat.

Had Mark IV come out to look at our furnace due to an unfamiliar sound it was making and to have a tuneup done. Kyle found that the capacitor was going bad so the fan didnt want to start up consistently. He took the time to do everything right and explain what was needed to be done.Ive had them out a few times over the years and always feel like they do a great job. They dont try to up sell things and are very reasonable on their price. They are also very responsive and schedule appointments quickly. In this case I had called the night before and they were here first thing this morning.I know its just a matter of time before I will need a new system (this one is 16 years old) and I will have Mark IV be the company to replace it.
