They were professional, explained the problem in detail, and told me what my options were. I waited about 2 weeks to post this review after the work was done. I have to say Im ecstatic about the repair and the work they did. They went above and beyond to find a part that was difficult to find and I have had no problems with the repair. If I could give10 Stars I would ....thanks again Natalie great job!!!
They simply arent truthful and lack any real knowledge of vehicles. i asked them to check 3 things on my truck and give me an opinion, they said it would be 100 bucks. instead they charged me 150 PER HOUR, which they completely left out when i dropped off truck. then they said they couldnt get the computer to tell them what was wrong so they didnt know what to do and it would likely end up costing me 600 for them to figure it out. at end it was a complete waste and all they did was hook it up to a computer which is something AutoZone does for free. dont go to these dishonest and incompetent joke of mechanics.
My first-time experience was almost a good one up until it I picked up my car. I requested an alignment check. It was done but Natalie forgot to tell me that its a billable charge. I wasnt too happy when I had an unexpected $80 added to my invoice. So when you ask for service, make sure you ask if its billable.
They repaired a timing chain on my vehicle and when I went back to get it fixed no one was willing to look at it. Make sure you find out you have a warranty before you pay them. They are not honest about the things they fix and do. I have to bring my vehicle somewhere else now. They claim that theyre so busy that they dont have time to take back my vehicle to look at it or try to repair it.She asked me to bring the vehicle back in to assist me but she had a bad attitude. I cam back to get the truck the next day and I was still having problems. I went to other mechanics and they said that how they repaired it actually made my vehicle worse. I would suggest that you go somewhere else to conduct your business because these people have a very poor attitude.
AAA sends my truck to places to get the work I need on my dodge trucks and my discount
On June 8th I had my car towed to Express Tech AutomotiveSo they can tell me why it wouldnt start .They had my car for a whole week and couldnt tell me why it wouldnt start. I explained to them again that my car was running fine when I parked. I pulled the three plugs on the transmission one was giving me problems to unplug, after I cleaned and dried them put them back together my car wouldnt start. I told Mr.Bob I talked to another mechanic friend and he told me that the plug I had problems with I have to take it off and line it up well I didnt know what he meant so I explained that to Mr. Bob and an hour later he called me and said thats what is wrong my Neutral safety switch is bad it needs to be changed .I had a hand-tooled wallet in my consoleIt was missingI know it is just the other day my gold ring and watch is also missingI went back the next day because my car wouldnt startThe plug was unhooked so I had to put it back together so I could start it and get to Express tech and let them know my car wouldnt start and my wallet was missing from my car. I had a hand tooled wallet made with my kid and grandchild birthdays on it. But it was gone and I just noticed my watch and ring was missing also so that was my experience 781dollars worth. When it was supposed to be 75 for the tow and 109 for them to tell why it wouldnt start when everything was new and it was running when I parked until I pulled and cleaned the three plugs on the transmission.
I brought my car in to express tech in Jan 2021 for a coolant leak. They promised the car would be repaired the next day. Express Tech was diagnosed as having a leak from the timing gasket. I agreed to let them change the timing belt also. Before I agreed to repairs, I asked if there were any other issues seen with the engine/cooling system. She said that they had everything taken apart& didn’t see anything else to worry about. Because if there were, I wouldn’t have gotten the repair. It was already a lot to spend on an older car.A one day repair turned into 4 days total. From the beginning I had issues, I drove off still smelling coolant burning& dripping. I went back. The tech stated that he needed to replace the heater hose connector & water Pump gasket, as they were broke during the repair. I had to drop the car off& Uber back& forth. I went back to the shop a few times for the completion of these items. This was very inconvenient. The car wasn’t driving as well as it was before after all the issues were “supposedly” cleared. On the next visit, The tech then recalibrated the camshaft. It helped a little. I still felt the car wasn’t driving as it did before. The car has been maintained by my regular mechanic, unfortunately I couldnt go to them because the owners son had covid & had to close the shop for 14 days.Over a period of 6 weeks i was back & forth to them. In February, I went in again for a weird noise. The dealership then goes on to state that the vehicle has more issues. Instead of checking my engine, They pointed out other items that were already repaired & Which I had no issues with after those repairs by my regular mechanic. I have receipts to show each of these repairs they mentioned were already repaired. There was a small leak in the power steering hose, which I was aware & was notified by my regular mechanic prior. This doesn’t affect the engine at all. overall, They tried to point out other stuff not related to the engine cooling system. They also tried to charge me a diagnostic fee for this visit. All of these trips back to their shop, can be verified by my Uber receipts.Around February/ March, I noticed the coolant started bubbling out of the reservoir. Which the car was doing when I brought it in the 1st time. So of course I’m alarmed. I went into the shop soon after. The owner Bob stated that as long as the thermostat isn’t rising don’t worry. So I continue on driving. In beginning of may,I was noticed a sound. I opened the hood the next morning & The coolant was near empty in the reservoir. This is after cooling off over night. I bring the car back a day or so later. They give me a diagnosis of needing a radiator. They say it’s cracked. The radiator is at the front of the car. The leak was in The middle of car. I could see it where I parked. Which makes no sense. I decline the work because at this point, I don’t trust that they’re telling the truth after all these trips back to the their shop.I had my regular mechanic takeover & give me a proper diagnosis. It was the thermostat bypass pipe leaking coolant. I have pictures & videos of exactly where the leak was. And I did not need a radiator. My radiator was flushed at 50k miles & thermostat changed, so why would I need this service again so soon? It was all a lie. I paid $884 for the first coolant leak repair, which was unsuccessful. Even added on extra items(timing chain) to make sure the car was running good& still ended up getting cheated.I’m demanding a refund from express tech. I’ve already done a dispute with my bank, but express tech will probably try to block my dispute. They need to do what’s right &give me a refund.
The staff was very respectful and helpful. Id recommend this place to everyone.
I was very pleased with their service they were very honest they did very good work and I would recommend them to anybody and everybody they did not rip me off and overcharged for anything which I really appreciated and they were very knowledgeable in explaining what was wrong with the car and what had to be done and they explained everything down to the last detail and the price was very reasonable definitely worth going to
They fitted me in.. had me out quickly in time to go to work, the price was very reasonable.
Shop was too busy to handle all customers business
Very patient with me when I needed a break tag
Not professional, didnt fix my car made it worsened when it was at first
Such nice people with excellent service. This is the place you can trust.
My co worker recommended I take my car here. Glad I did. The guy at the front desk greeted me as soon as I walked in. The service was fast with good customer service. The guy Jean let me know what was going on with my car and by the next day I was picking up my car. Also, the price was reasonable. They have gained a customer forever.
Fixed my problems quickly and efficiently. Decently priced, but they make up for it with quality work and excellent customer service. Thanks to Natalie, Gene, and Steve!
Good repair shop, good prices, timely work. Coronavirus safe.
I would never go there again or would I recommend anyone to go there they are a rip off.
Be very careful dealing with this guy. They do good mechanic work but if you cant pay your bill really fast they will claim that your car is abandoned and take it from you and sell it. I had my bill down from $1200 to $400 and they took it. I am on disability and they knew that. I was communicating with them every month yet they used a law for abandoned vehicles and took my car. I have a stack of papers 1 thick of efforts trying to keep my car. When he finally took possession of it, he told me Dont act surprised. Theres nothing you can do about it. and hung up on me. The owners names are Bob and Jo Stark. They are VERY UNSCRUPULOUS. He commented that he was glad there were laws to protect small business men from people like me - people on disability I guess. And after doing several price comparisons and asking questions around the West bank after this happened, I found that his prices are any where from 2 to 3 times higher than most other repair shops. BUYER BE VERY AWARE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE FOR REPAIRS.
All around great mechanic. Gene is the owner and he was there to help me with the issue I had on a couple different vehicles. He fixed what needed to be fixed and didnt try to upsell me anyting
This is a great group of people so intunedto their customers. Will take my vehicle back here again
My husband and I have been trusting Express Tech with ALL of our vehicles since 2005. Trustworthy professionals. We would never take our vehicles anywhere else.
Kind of pricey but the service is great. Once they Repair your car its guaranteed and you dont have to keep coming back for the same problem.
To few times do we take the time to say something good about someone or a business we have dealt with.I have had several occasions to bring my Chevy truck to them for work.- Brake job- Transmission flush- Plugs & wires replaced- Many oil changes- Headlights fixedThere 2 times I asked them to keep the bad parts so I could see them, which they were happy to do. I have not been disappointed with either the quality of their work or the pricing. The prices are less than places like Firestone and on par with other shops I have used in the past. The work has always been done within the time frame they said it would be and the one time it was going to take longer, they did call me and let me know.I am a satisfied customer and I believe you will be also.
Wonderful owners! Reputable place. Honest place. Wonderful workers!
Attentive. From the counter person, you can sense there is no B.S. Not the cheapest, but I happy to pay the premium for the trust and peace of mind.
Very good. They took care of my car problem and I was out within record time. Very courteous and kind.
Ive used the automotive shop for 10+ years and cant even imagine going anywhere else. The service, quality and speed of work completed is truly amazing!
Very helpful professional and personal
THIS PLACE IS AWSOME.I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ALL MY FREINDS!
Spent over $450 for work and car still shows some of the same problems a few months later. Engine light on and car vibrates when started and kills sometimes. Now paying $150 for someonelse for someone to clean injectors, etc.
Came in slightly over the estimate but still several hundred dollars cheaper than dealership.
Went there for brake tag, but received assistance with brake, reverse lighs
Very professional
Always honest and fair, I dont take my truck anywhere else unless I must.
Never ever taking any of my cars there I understand charging someone a fee for the diagnostic test if the customer dont have the money to fix the car But if the shop dont have the right tools n program for the job why do the customer still have to pay for the diagnostic test in that case if I was the shop owner I will take in every car and tell them afterwards that I cant fix it n charge them a fee BAD BAD BUSINESS
They do good work
Awesome staff!
Honest and clean
Just ok
Ehh
