Exactly the same thing as the one on Decatur. But NO LINE. This matters the most. I highly recommend to try it here, and maybe take a photo in front of the original shop (you’re probably going to go there anyway), if it’s your first time!

The coffee is okay. The Beignets are very good!

The donuts werent hot nor freshly made. More like reheated and then thrown into the powder sugar. It could be possibly because it was close to closing time. Customer service was ok, but could have been better. All in all its an ok place to get yourself a quick fix without having to go into the French Quarter.

I was born and raised here and have never had a bad experience at the other Cafe Du Mon locations. I dont think I could even call these beignets. They were flat and dry as cardboard. I dont know if it was the young lady who was doing the frying today or not but it was inedible. I was there around 12 noon today May 21, 2021

It was good! Not quite as good as the french quarter location... but there is not much difference. We were headed home after our weekend in New Orleans and this was alot easier to get to then the French Quarter location! I would definitely go again when Im in the area.

Very long line, even though most of the tables were available. Slowest service possible. Five employees, but only one is working. We left after 30 minutes waiting without cafe.Employee was cleaning the floor and make Beignets, same time, without washing the hands.

So I finally had a beignet for the first time. I’ve heard lots about the cafe in the French Quarter, but decided to try the mall location. Since I don’t have anything else to judge on, I’m giving it a 4 four. The location can be pretty busy on the weekends, but the staff moves fast. I even picked up a coffee cup!

The beignets were tough and chewy...thrown into a bag full pf sugar...meh. The kiddos liked it

Yes! There is a reason why cafe du monde is known in NOLA. The beignets were incredible and so affordable. I definitely recommend coming here if you want to avoid the busy streets of the French Quarter. Easy in and easy out! The worker was very kind and made sure she wiped off my pop before handing it to me. Do yourself a favor and get yourself some beignets. No, it doesnt have to be morning time, either!

Could be so much better.. The beignets at this location are alway cold. The powdered sugar is alway clumpy and hard.

If you are looking for beignets come here! The one in French Quarter is really busy and has a long line. There was no long line here and it was quiet and cool indoors.

Coffee was awful. Burnt with a weird after taste I assume was the chicory. The beignets were ok, but they were just denser funnel cake. If you like zepolis you will like beig nets, but honestly these were no better than what you would get from a stand at a carnival or fair.

Closed by 6:20 PM the last 2 times I’ve been here.

Horrible service!! I was eating there with my wife, we asked for replacement for one beignet that was hard, so we sent it back. The manager brought out the same beignet fussing with us telling us that nothing was wrong with the beignet, slam the plate on the table. It was bad the police was called out. Don’t recommend eating here. The entire staff was not helpful, especially the girl.

This was my first time eating here and I’m addicted... lol... The service was fast and accommodating and I was with a very large group. Long story short, I can’t wait to come back and have more beignets and hot chocolate!!

I brought some friends who had just driven for 12 hours and couldnt wait for beignets. We Arrived at 8:30 pm and the girl behind the counter who was looking on her phone told us they were closed. When I reminded her that the website stated they closed at 9pm she then told me they were out of beignets. .....Really?

It took entirely too long for them to take our order. It took even longer to prepare it. Maybe something broke but no one said anything. As crowded as the one on Decatur is, Id rather go there.

Terrible experience. Seated at uncleared table then waited 10 minutes for table to be cleared and order taken. Waited another 25 minutes and still no coffee sospoke to another staff member but she was rude and made derogatory comments about us in Chinese toanother staff member. We understand enough Chinese to know what she was saying. Also cash only is accepted. Have been told that Chinese have taken over the business and all the staff were Chinese and rude. We just left and would never recommend.

You have to eat beignets and coffee au lait. They were very fresh, airy, hot with plenty of powder sugar.
