Easily ordered online for in store pickup. It says it could take up to two hours for order fulfillment but I received an email that my order was ready for pickup in only 15 minutes! This experience was so much better than flagging down an associate at a big box store to mix your paint...who typically have no idea what they are doing. I have also had an in person order experience at this SW back in the spring and the associate that helped me was very knowledgeable by asking me certain questions like what I was painting, which was cabinets at the time so she showed me exactly what I needed!

They can color match oil-based enamel. Nobody else can. If thats what you want, this is the place to go.

Got to the store and the sign said closed but taking phone orders. Called them to give my order. Went back and forth to the front locked door several times. I said how can I get my stuff? Guy said now you have to call back and give your credit card information. Are you serious? Bunch of incompetent people. Needless to say I just drove over to Home Depot.

I recommend Sherwin-Williams in Gurnee sometimes you might would want to order some tools and stuff sometimes they dont have everything but the best thing to do is if you have a job coming up its always good to order or make sure that they have it before you go and get it and if you have any questions about what youre doing they will always give you the right answers you can count on Sherwin-Williams for products and management assistance

I came to this store to get some custom mixed oil based paint and stain.The stain was for the stair treads and had to mach the color of the laminate flooring.I was very concerned, but Tyler did an excellent job and the color turned out to be an exact mach. Im very happy with the result of the stain and the paint. The store is clean, organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
