Beware of the good guy bad guy routine. I received a written offer for my pickup from Eskridge Guthrie. When it came time to close the deal, Justin Pence came in and reduced the offer by offer 10%. This after we had agreed on a price with a written offer.
I was looking to buy a truck. I had been to other dealers in OKC, MWC and Norman. The good/bad guy routine was very frustrating. Almost had a deal worked in Midwest City but found out at the last minute things changed?!? on the vehicle.I went online and found the exact truck that I wanted for a good price from Eskridge Chevy. I called to make sure they had it. The finance manager was the one who answered and said yes it was on the lot and gave me directions. When I arrived they were washing the truck. I was introduced to Bull who was going to be my salesman. 18 month update. I bought a 2011 F250 in March 2019. It was my first online vehicle purchase and was done with ease thanks to Glen Rose and the Eskridge staff. I waited this long to see if any issues were to pop up and glad to say there has not been one issue with this truck. I asked Eskridge to send this truck to the local Ford dealer for a completed inspection and they only found 3 items, one bulb burnt out, needed wipers and one error code on the 4x4 sensor. FYI, I paid for the inspection and was money well spent.They even tossed in swag items for my boys to make the experience great.There was not one thing I would change in my experience with Eskridge Chevy.
Today I was at Eskridge Chevrolet in the service department and I had the worst experience today. First my husband is a car salesman has been for the last 4 yrs.And his customers always have something positive to say about how polite and respectful he is, Anyway only one person spoke to us and his name was Bull he was very polite but everyone else was rude I know that a lot of salesman make money in the service drive it could be time for a trade in or up grade or they may know someone that may be interested.Now I’m a black woman and my husband is a black man. I do feel if I was white I would have probably been treated better but anyway I wouldn’t refer a blind man to this dealership.
This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Eskridge Chevrolet and we will continue to purchase from them. The sales reps are knowledgeable and helpful. I initially found a vehicle online at Eskridge Chevrolet and reached out to them. I was promptly contacted by Ron Clark about the truck and he answered all of my questions. Since I live 100 miles away he took information about my trade and I sent some pictures and he was able to give me a range I might expect on my trade. I decided to make the 100 mile journey over to Guthrie to give the vehicle a test drive. Ron made the deal so easy and it was honestly one of my best vehicle buying experiences. After we made the deal I met with Jerrel in Finance who also made this part of the deal painless. Everyone at the dealership was nice and they made the vehicle buying experience fun and painless. I will definitely give Eskridge Chevrolet another look when were in the market for our next vehicle.

My family and I have bought a total of 5 vehicles from Eskridge over the years and every one of them have been GREAT cars at a GREAT price. I wanted to give 5 stars but I’m holding one back because free oil changes weren’t offered with the latest car I bought. All of the other vehicles we’ve bought came with free oil changes. I guess ya can’t have it all huh?

I will say the people are extremely sweet and kind. Unfortunately, they did end up making an mistake on the paperwork and I ended up paying an extra $600 on my taxes (that I didn’t need to pay) and they said they couldn’t do anything bout it and didn’t offer to help in anyway.Plus, I am still waiting on my paint for the vehicle to fix the stretches. (Purchased my vehicle back in May)

Was sold a good used jeep but no one mentioned the little crack in the radiator. Now i have to pay for the repair. All in all still a good place to purchase a ride.
I broke down in transit between DFW and Nebraska and my car was towed here on a Sunday. I want to thank Bull for his exceptional display of humanity and kindness, he really helped me feel calm and cared for in a stressful situation and I would buy a car from him in a heartbeat. Service on the other hand.. I lost compression in cylinder 1 of my V8 LS3 engine. I was told on the phone that the piston was damaged and it punched a hole in the cylinder and I needed a new engine. Bill of service just said “excessive scoring” and piston damage. A new engine was an 11 thousand dollar repair. We towed my car to DFW and got a second opinion. It was found I had a failed valve spring and Classic Chevrolet in Texas found no evidence of damage in the cylinder or to the piston. It was a 400 dollar repair. I’m not going to speculate behind intention, but if you’re told your car is in need of serious repairs, go elsewhere and get a second opinion.

If you’re looking for customer service, it is not at Eskridge. I purchased a vehicle that took 31 days to get the financing from one company to finalize. Within the first few days my roommates & I started noticing things we thought should be fixed. Upon contacting Eskridge on three separate occasions for both the financing and the issues, we were told from Justin that when the dealership received financing the issues would be taken care of. Fast forward three weeks & my more conversations regarding paper work, the vehicle was financed. We made an appointment with Justin to have the issues with the key fob, lug nuts, and scratches fixed. We dropped of the vehicle to have the issues fixed and was given a loaner vehicle with less than a quarter of a tank of gas in the loaner. I didn’t think this would be an issue until I received a call that the lug nuts & scratches had been fixed but the key fob couldn’t be fixed & it would take a day to fix it. When I explained that we had an appointment in Wichita, we were told to use the loaner until my vehicle was ready. At this time, I decided to put $20 of gas in a Dodge Caravan since we were going to be driving it longer. A little less than 30 minutes after putting the gas in, I received a call that we couldn’t take the loaner out of state, so they were cutting a check for $100 to get the key fixed. I didn’t agree with this because Kalidy Kia told me it’s closer to $250 to get the key replaced. Justin refused to do anything more than $100 & when I told my sales person about the $20 in gas he said we’ll talk about when I get there to pick up the vehicle. Upon arrival, I’m told they filled up the tank on my Kia Soul as compensation for the $20. I told them that’s not even close because I had almost 3/4’s of a tank of gas, so they put in maybe $6-8 in gas. Not only did I not get the full compensation of the $20 in gas, I’m having to spend out of pocket for a key fob that should have been provided with the vehicle. Therefore if you want to work with a company that’s dishonest and as very little customer service, then by all means choose Eskridge.
Im just going to say my fiance and I have bought 3 vehicles from Eskridge in Guthrie. I have never been disappointed. I am valued as a customer. I recommend Eskridge to anyone who wants a reliable vehicle and no harassment from the salesman. I will be back when its time for a new vehicle!

Took my wifes truck in for its oil change. people were very polite and professional. Got me in and out in a timely manner. Very friendly people that work there. Was even offered a breakfast biscuit or burrito.

Went into my regular GMC dealership for an oil change service. I new my brake pads were getting close to needing replaced so I ask my service advisor to check them. He came back and told me the amount of pad left and the price to replace them. He quoted me a price that was 135% higher than the GM web site service special for pad replacement. I ask him about the GM special on their web site and he said, were not doing that now. This dealer has always given good service and was one of the dealers listed on the web as participating GM dealer. I told my service advisor to skip the brakes. I paid and left. I then went across the road to Eskridge and ask them if they were honoring the GM web site brake pad special. They said yes, no problem. I had them put on Front and Rear Pads, which was a savings of @280.00 from their competition across the road. Eskridge was Fast, Friendly, and Fair.
Bull! was my salesman when we bought our 2016 suburban. Outstanding service from sales and financing. I do have an issue with the body shop not calling me a few times now. Still waiting.... All in all I Will buy from them again.
Went in today for an oil change, and scheduled maintenance. They are very proactive, and did the 72,000 mile maintenance though the vehicle only has 53,000 on it. Only $513, so I guess we got their Christmas special. Thats about a third of our Christmas budget. So instead of ho, ho, ho this year; were only going to get ho, ho!

Found my dream truck online at Eskridge and sent them a text to say I was interested. I got a text right back from David and we set up an appointment. I traded in two vehicles. After minimum negotiations I was in my truck in about three hours. Fastest most painless vehicle purchase I ever made. I brought the truck back in for a bed liner and they kept it overnight. They gave me a loaner and put gas in it. My truck was back the next day and the bed looked awesome! Many thanks to David and crew for a great experience. Went in for an oil change and tire rotations. My wife and I just moved to crescent and we are both from small towns. We wanted to move service from the city to a small town like Guthrie. At hudiburg an oil change is 49.00 and tire rotations are included. Youd thing it would be like that at all Chevy dealerships. No not this one. I walked out paying 88.00. Dealership is a joke.

I spent about 2 weeks looking for a nice low miles used Truck when I came across an ad on Auto trader for a 2011 with only 24k miles. There were only 4 pictures on the ad and I couldnt really couldnt tell anything about its condition from the pics provided so I decided to call the dealership. I spoke with Bart and I could tell right off he was a down to earth type salesman, he wasnt pushy or aggressive like most I had talked to at other dealerships. Bart took my phone # snapped about 7 pictures of the truck and text them to me. I liked what I saw and told him I would try to swing by the next day after work. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership around 5pm Bart had the truck waiting by the front door and proceeded to show me some of the features while we did a walk around and I inspected it. After a short test drive my wife and I decided to go inside and see what kind of deal they could make on it. My wife and I are were preapproved through our bank for a low interest rate so we let Tom Pasch the finance director know that up front, after a phone call to my bank Tom explained he used our lender on a regular basis and felt he could beat our rate. He made a phone call to the representative of our lender in which he had a really good relationship with and after it was all said and done he ended up getting us almost a full 1% lower interest rate then what we had received from our online application through our lender. From the very start our whole car buying experience at Eskridge Chevrolet smooth and at no time did I ever feel like I was under pressure. Most dealerships are full of sharks looking for blood, my experience at Eskridge Chevrolet couldnt have been further from that. To top it off, when you buy a vehicle from them New or Used, you get oil changes for life, no gimmicks. This place cant be beat!!Kevin and KristenOklahoma City, OK
I bought a truck from a salesman Gordy the nicest most honest sales person i had ever met. the deal went fast and smooth, i was in and out in less than 45 min!!!
Avoid the free oil changes for life, and probably any service here. We found out that even if they changed the oil with the OEM recommended fluid specification, they did not change the filter. We know this because the filters we had supplied for the last several oil changes were not found when we drained and changed it ourselves. Instead we found the type we had supplied several times before. As dirty as the filter was, we are not even sure it was ever changed, and the ticking we started hearing (prompting us to do it ourselves) was probably due to contaminated oil because the filter was in bypass mode.

I found unprofessional attitude of the sales person. we fixed a deal, made an appointment but when i went to buy the vehicle they had already sold it to somebody. I went there in time as per the appointment. They Didnt even bother to inform me that they already sold the vehicle to somebody. Just wasted my, and my friends time who gave me ride up there. i feel pity for them.
