John Vance used to be the best. Done business here for over 20 years. Last 3 times in for Services been horrible at best.1)2010 F250 that needed cruse control fix was in there for over a month and John Vance recommended I take it some where else to get fixed.2)2017 Dodge 2500 in for transmission repair in 3 weeks never even looked at it.I was told it fail thru the cracks.3)2017 Expedition pop up door was making noise had it in there 3 times for services and they said bring it in next time and they would have the parts. When they finally fix door was not covered under warranty because it was over miles by 354. What a joke. Good luck John Vance Im taking my business somewhere else.

Dropped my Ram 1500 off on Monday morning at 8am. Received a call at 9:20am after they diagnosed the issue and told me they had to order parts from Dallas that would arrive around 1pm next day (Tuesday). They called at 2:20pm on Tuesday indicating the vehicle was completed. Very pleased with the original suggestions for the problem and how to resolve, the actual time-table to diagnose, and especially the resolution. Extremely satisfied customer.

Recently bought a 2021 ram 3500. The experience was awesome. My saleswoman was a riot and management was polite. I had an issue arise with the title paperwork, the sales and finance team worked diligently and effectively to resolve the issue within the day and somehow made the initially unpleasant second visit a good experience in the end.This is my new dodge dealership.

I recently bought my first vehicle through John Vance, and wanted to wait about a month before writing a review. I can say, the salesman was polite, and most importantly he was a real guy, he listened to me, and only showed me what I wanted to see, and he didnt try to upsell me on anything he knew I didnt want. Love that. His name is David, and hes a good guy. I would allow him to sell anything to my family and trust him, and thats rare for someone like me to say. There was a bit of a fiasco, the detailer hit a pole the day I was supposed to pick it up, and they had to replace my bumper and headlights. While its a bummer to be delayed about a week on buying a new truck, The manager Chris was very prompt and direct in the problem, the solution, and the timeline, of course at no cost to me. Not to mention, they did supply me with a donor truck from the day of the incident, to the day I picked up my new truck. That being said, I cant be mad at that, stuff happens. It was the truck I wanted, the price I wanted, and the type of guys I wanted to buy it from. Now that It has been about a month, I can safely say that the body work was excellent, they used my down payment the way they should have, the financing showed they were honest and accurate about quite literally everything. To the nearest penny.This is the only dealership I can say that actually is honest all the way through, sells no lemons, and has fantastic warranties, and will sell you what you want, not what they think you want. Because of all of this, they still get a 5* review from me, even though the kid in detail slowed down the process. Because in the end, I still got a showroom quality truck, at a great price, from some good people, and all the details fell in to place the way they should have. No call backs, no hunting for financing, no unnecessary credit checks, no surprises. I will return to them, every time I purchase a vehicle, for as long as they stay an option.

Back in December 2020 we sent out inquiries to twelve Jeep dealers within 70 miles of Stillwater (our home). Only six bothered to reply. Of those six, your salesperson, Jennifer Medina, was by far the most enthusiastic and helpful. She sent us two separate videos introducing herself and wanting to take care of our Jeep purchase. Solely because of Jennifer, we recently purchased a new Jeep Sahara from John Vance Auto Group. Jennifer facilitated that purchase. We found the whole process to be quite satisfactory. The Jeep arrived just as we had ordered it, and was transferred to us for the price agreed upon. It appears to be functioning according to spec, and we are quite satisfied with it.We dont normally take the trouble to write a review, but what is really prompting us to do so now is the service provided to us by Jennifer. She was polite, friendly, and attentive on every occasion we dealt with her. When we had questions, she answered them directly and honestly. If she didnt know the answer, she stayed with it until she got one for us. When we took delivery on the vehicle, she suggested a time when she could spend some time with us going over all the things that have changed since our old Jeep. She didnt rush us--let us get the feel of it and ask questions--showed us all the fancy electronic and internet stuff and got answers to questions she wasnt sure of. She is still following up on some of those questions 2 weeks later--bless her. You couldnt have a better representative. Treat her well. Shes a keeper.

Went in to get the oil changed in my 2018 ram. The service manager said it was going to be 2 + hour wait because I didn’t have an appointment so I talked to my good friend Dennis and he lit a fire and got it and the other cars in and it was done in a reasonable time. But when I went to get the keys and pay for the oil change the two service managers informed me that the next oil change would be a bg service and that they would do it wether I wanted it or not to keep my power train warranty (I am not a fan of bg products and will Not use them) then was informed that they used pensoil and not mopar oil!!! The service managers were very arrogant and was trying to treat me like an idiot I am a mechanic of 30+ years. If I treated costumers like they did I would go broke.

Recently, I found myself in a sticky situation. My 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee wouldnt start on morning. All the evidence pointed to a faulty fuel pump relay, which is currently under recall. Sadly, there isnt a part available in the universe to replace this faulty relay. After calling Chrysler customer service, they informed me there is a temporary fix and Chrysler would be happy to pay for the repair. The Chrysler rep put me on a brief hold while she contacted a local dealership to work out the details. When she came back on the line, I could hear in her voice she was MAD. She informed me the dealer she called refused to allow Chrysler to pay for the repair and they required me to pay them $450 to fix my car. In her own words she said Ive never had a dealership treat a customer this way. She quickly informed me she was going to call JOHN VANCE and within a few minutes JANINE from JOHN VANCE called me to inform me they would be happy to help. She arranged a tow truck service to pick up my vehicle, they had my car repaired in a few hours, and JANINE even drove from Guthrie to my job site ON HER LUNCH BREAK to pick me up and bring me back to my vehicle. Needless to say, I will be doing all my business in the future with JOHN VANCE. Thanks to Janine for her over-the-top customer service! Shes a gem!

Purchase experience of our Dodge Ram truck was acceptable and met our expectations. However, every single service experience at the service center has been abysmal. The head of service is consistently rude, dismissive, disrespectful, and condescending, even when asked simple questions and when raising standard concerns. At times, staff has been outright hostile and aggressive when being asked basic questions about service processes. Because of this repeated lack of respect and courtesy, we will not be returning.

I bought my 2018 Ram 1500 from John Vance in 2018. I have had all services done by the service department. The service department has been mediocre from the start, the only reason why I use them is for the life time Drivetrain warranty. Last week I took my pickup in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor came to me with a list of things that were due. One of them is a transmission flush at the cost of $268, I told him would be back next week to have it done. Today I came in to get the flush done, when it came time to pay the bill it was over $400. Im glad I got a copy for estimate and only paid $250. Im looking for another shop even if it means going to OKC.

Instead of leaving a long and scathing review, here is this. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation after my wife buys a used car with brand new tires on it 6 months prior. Whether it was from the road or the service floor, refused to work with me after putting in a fix a flat and tried charging $170 to fix one tire even though the tires were put on the car brand new when purchased 6 months ago. Went to discount tire where they did an easy patch for free.Edit (to response): I had the discussion with the service manager to let him know exactly was wrong and all he did was deflect blame. I even let him know all the details and background of having bought the car from John Vance 6 months prior. The problem was exactly known and whats broken is our trust in your sincereness.

Wish I could give 0 stars, dont even deserve 1. Stay away from this dealer. Wish someone would have told us BEFORE we wasted 6 hours. They make you think your getting the deal just to rip it out from under you after you have cleaned out your vehicle for trade. They said the deal wasnt guaranteed AFTER we left from anger. I own 2 businesses and would never have done a customer that way!

Service DepartmentI went in because my diesel truck was running too cold. They told me right away I was low on coolant. I told them my truck has always told me when I wasnt there low. I fixed the upper radiator hose in July. They told me the problem was that hose that I fixed has a hole in it. I have not seen any coolant leaking or smelt any. I told them to go ahead and fix. The call say its fixed and no check engine light on. It came on a day later so they just cleared it with their computer. $500 later with same problem.

.Got my car, from here, and I live in Joplin, so they delivered it too me. I love my car its so nice and is awesome, there were a couple little snags in the paperwork, but they were very friendly and helpful and help me get what I needed and made it right. Rick was very helpful and any questions or things I needed he took care of very quickly, kelley was also helpful, and they both went out of there way to help me. I would definitely buy a car from here again. Great customer service!!

Amazing customer service!! I took my vehicle in this morning for a tire rotation and oil change. After leaving and getting on the highway I noticed that my vehicle was not driving the same. I pulled over and called to let them know what was going on. Since I was not far from my house they told me to go ahead and take my vehicle home and they would send someone out to take a look at it. The gentlemen arrived shortly thereafter and evaluated the vehicle and then took it back to the shop. They are currently on their way back to my house with my vehicle and stated they had put gas in my vehicle as well so I would not be out the gas money for driving it!! Above and beyond!! Cant thank them enough.

Very disappointing service. Added .5 to air-condition and did some cleaning of vents. Worked less than 24 hours and then wanted over $1000 to repair. Sounds like big turnover in service department from other customers.Later: After looking at it again, they decided it was just a fuse. I am upgrading my review from 1 star to 3. If things get better I will improve the review.

Had heard good things about Vance. Tried to take my Jeep in for repairs. Been trying to arrange a loaner or rental for two days now, four or five phone calls and no one will handle the situation. I was told they would have someone call me back and no one has. My appointment was scheduled for tomorrow morning so I guess I will have to miss as I cannot be without a car.The next day.....Just got off the phone with Randy Squires he apologized for his dealership not getting back to me and made up for the problem to my satisfaction. Mistakes occur when a person tries to correct the situation means a lot to me, Thanks Randy, I will change my 2 stars to 5

How much does John Vance pay for good reviews?Product Knowledge: FI had to figure out how amazing the 2019 RAM is all on my own because neither sales person could answer my questions. Luck for them that truck can sell itself. It did take me three days to figure out all the bells and whistles though.Customer Service: FWaited for literal hours to sign papers for the vehicle. Plenty of people standing around, only to be told that my NEW $70k wouldnt be detailed even though it sat there for 3 hours. I left my truck with them for 4 hours to get detailed on another day only to have them tell me that it would need to stay overnight. Meanwhile...guess who had to scrape stickers off the windshield and wheels and peel plastic off the chrome....definitely no one at John Vance!Customer Satisfaction: FAfter 4 weeks of back and forth on a small plastic snap grommet on the floor mat that was missing when I laid them out, I was finally told that they cant do anything for me because it would have had to be replaced before the truck left the lot. So them not detailing my truck and laying out the floor mats that were smashed under the back seat is MY PROBLEM?? Its not like I bought some old used POS of the lot! ITS A BRAND NEW 2019 RAM! Mind you, I got home at 9:30 PM, installed the floor mats myself, noticed the missing grommet, and called my salesman the next day!Parts Department: FDont expect them to answer the phone even if your salesperson tells you that they have talked to them and they are waiting for your call. Dont expect them to call you back if you leave a message either. THEY DONT WANT YOUR MONEY NOR YOUR BUSINESS!Customer Care: FYou will get plenty of emails from a lady named Julie Peterson, complete with a title, and phone number. The email is asking if you would like more information on your truck or any of the additional products. I called the office and asked for Julie in hopes of getting in touch with the parts department, and was treated like I was stupid for asking for her because Julie is just a computer response. Nice guys...great job.Sales Team: FI was told by both the salesperson and sales manager that there are issues with communication at John Vance, but they would personally take care of me. Dont wait for the phone to ring anytime soon as they take care of your issues.Lifetime Warranty Confidence: FThey say that they are providing a no-cost lifetime powertrain warranty...uh-huh...I cant even get a missing snap grommet on a floor mat valued at $1.50 replaced....how can I trust that they will take care of any powertrain issues!?Do yourself a favor....BUY A 2019 DODGE RAM...IT IS TRULY AN AMAZING TRUCK! JUST DONT GO TO GUTHRIE TO FIND ONE! YOU ARENT WORTH THEIR TIME!
