I am so happy with my purchase, from the level of service in the sales team (buying my car was an easy snap), to the service center (I had a part replaced within the first couple of days of purchase that was beautifully done by the mechanics there.) We visited other dealerships looking for our 2017 Subaru Forrester and were twice disappointed. Honda of Hackettstown was a very professional and well organized dealership and we felt really confident to buy our car. We do not regret it! We are in love with our certified pre-owned car.

I just had my suv for oil change. It was a bad experience. I took the appointment and right on time. After waiting in the area for 20 minutes a guy showed up. I thought it’s done already and was happy. In fact he just checked me in. I was watching him for those 20 minutes and he was surfing the internet and chatting with another rep about a resort vacation. Oil change was done in 30 minutes. I was happy to pick up the car but this guy was missing again. He showed up in his office after 20 minutes. They should give more importance to customers time. There is a reason why I took the appointment. Zero stars

Heres a picture of my new 2022 Civic Sport picked up from another dealer today after leaving Hackettstown because of their absurd practices. This same vehicle at Hackettstown was advertised as MSRP. After the test drive I was ready to purchase. The salesman brings me paperwork for MSRP + $5,000 adjusted market pricing bringing the sticker to $29,315 which was never disclosed or advertised prior. I stepped outside and called another dealer I knew had the same car in stock but was further away. They assured me over the phone they sell at MSRP with no markups. I drove to the other dealer was in and out in 1 hour with my 2022 Civic for advertised MSRP. Stay away from this place!!! 0 stars.

The staff are fantastic. Very nice people. Unfortunately the prices they have posted online are not accurate. You should add about $1200 to every car (give or take). The dealership will not budge on these hidden fees and costs. So the real price is a non negotiable $1200 more. Keep this in mind because it inflates what they have available when other options can be better. First dealership I ever went to that wouldn’t drop those fees so they are very serious about them.

My car went into this dealership for a routine oil change and came out with damage to the back bumper as well as the electronics not working properly. I was told about the damage and they offered to repair which was acceptable to me. After I picked up the car a second time, the damage was fixed but the electronic fuel gauge was not working. Keep in mind the car went in for an oil change and came back with 2 new issues. I reached out to my contact who was not in the shop and I was told would call me back the next morning. After 3 days and no return call, I asked to speak to the service department manager, Brian Kelly, and was told he was not in the office. But, they would have him call me back the next morning. He never called me back so I called again and was told he was not available. Instead, I get a call back from my original contact who asked how he can help me. No explanation as to why no one has contacted me. Their customer service is awful. Brian Kelly should have reached out to me regardless. I left Joyce Honda after 25 years (I have 4 Honda cars) only because this dealership was closer to my new home. I may be going back to Joyce after this experience.

Horrible service department. DO NOT LEASE FROM HERE. Roadside assistance is not reliable, only tows you to closest location and doesn’t provide a loaner vehicle. Pretty much a money maker and not a good service. Get AAA instead of Roadside Assistance. Mike Hoffman, from the service department, hung up on me when my car broke down and told me to Uber home. Also made an EXTREMELY degrading comment about tow truck drivers. Unacceptable service from the service department. Wish I could give them 0 stars as they don’t deserve 1 with the customer service provided in an emergency situation.

The sales staff is friendly the service people not so much. The best car salesman ever there is Roy Buyers. He sold me my BMW & he was transparent & got me the best deal. He was super nice and went above & beyond for me. There salesman dont get paid by commissions they get paid hourly.

In 2019 this place was fine. Fast forward to 2021, they tried to charge me more than the sticker price by a cool $7k.Very disrespectful.

I was recently in an accident and very shook up and overwhelmed with a new need for a new car. When I arrived I spoke with Terri about a car I had seen on CarFax, she was wonderful and I fell in love with the car. It was my first time needing to take out an auto loan so we briefly spoke with someone else about possible financing options. Im from PA and was told we would pay PA taxes, and we discussed the registration and plates. That was it. So when I got a breakdown of the bill I was a bit overwhelmed with the additional (costly) fees. My mother had questions about it so she called and the man she spoke with, Tom, insured her he had talked to me about EVERYTHING that would be on the bill. This upset me as that is not what happened during my first visit. It was suggested I walk away from the deal, if they were dishonest about the conversation we had then what else could be going wrong. I trusted my gut and my initial impression of Terri and went through with the deal. I picked up my car today and have no regrets trusting Terri or my love at first sight with my car.So thank you Terri for being a genuinely wonderful person!!

I cannot say enough great things about this place! Sal Manfredi was incredible. It was our second dealership after a terrible experience at the previous place, Sal came to the rescue. Went to Honda of Hackettstown a few weeks ago to check out some of their used and new Honda Civics as I was in need of a new car, and I ended up leaving with a brand new 2020 Honda Civic that I am absolutely in love with! My previous vehicles that I had were both used cars and I didnt go through the whole dealership process when I got them, so I was a little nervous on how everything would go when I went, but both Kevin and Kai-Sun were super helpful throughout the whole process which made the overall experience a great one. If anyone is considering getting a new car and arent sure which dealership to choose, I would definitely recommend going to Honda of Hackettstown!

I really hate when mechanics takes advantage of women that dont know much about cars stuff... My mom went yesterday to get her regular oil change and they also did a rear differential fluid replacement in a car that only has 14,000 miles, just to get more money. I hate dishonesty and whoever is in charge in this place should monitor this kind of behaviors... If you as mechanic dont know that this service is supposed to be done between the 30,000 and 60,000 miles. Worst service ever...

There was a recall on a vehicle I had purchased at another dealership, but Honda of Hackettstown was the one that notified me. Took my Civic there for that reason, and traded it in later for an Accord. Recently I traded the Accord in for a CRV. Id recommend this dealership to anyone who expects the best. You wont be disappointed!

Ive been a client of Honda for 9 years. Since day one Ive been treated like family. Most recently, given my nighttime hours at work, I contacted Matt Furman ahead of time, when I arrived he set me up with a Salesman, Earl. Matt explained my situation to Earl on how I sleep during the day. Earl sat down with me asked what I was looking for. Test drove number one and when I got back number two was ready and waiting for me. After that, they were very quick with the paperwork process and the bank loans. Jerry was great to work with, was so helpful, kind and caring too! They do have the greatest prices around along with a huge lot of used cars. They will work with you, so it is helpful to wait on your deal, as they will come down as most car dealers will. I found the car on carfax, no accidents, one owner. It’s worth the drive for sure, and there are so many 2018 cars to choose, not only Honda’s. I decided on the Equinox which was rated high on Carfax. I didn’t even have to put any money down, along with not great credit, although my interest rate is too high. I’m happy with the car although I did rush a bit as I just assumed all newer cars have heated seats but mine does not!

I just bought my first Honda after years and years of driving Chryslers, and I couldnt be happier. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Terri Campagna who was so terrific to work with. The complete opposite of the stereotypical high pressure car salesperson, Terri answered our questions, quickly arranged test drives of the two models I was interested in, and shared her knowledge of both vehicles and what wed be encountering if we did decide to buy. I would 100% go to her again for purchasing. Then came Kai Sun who handled all the financial paperwork. Upbeat, positive, and fun, I even enjoyed this part of the process, and the last part was Marion who like everyone else I encountered was delightful. It may have been my first Honda, but it wont be my last!

Service is great. Sales experience was not the best. Hurried me out. I forgot my EZ PASS, the salesman grabbed it but never called me? I called a week later and it was on his desk. Weird. Also very fast finance process but they left out discussing details about handling my last payment. Weird. 2 sales managers argued with me and finally I got to a sane one who didnt treat me like a rube. Great service so so sales and finance experience.

This was probably the best, easiest experience I have ever had getting a new car. I worked out the details ahead of time on the phone (COVID) and really just needed to test drive the car to be sure it was right for me. I loved it and was able to complete the deal in just over an hour and be on my way. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. I felt like we were treated fairly and would absolutely recommend Honda of Hackettstown.

The sales rep, Greg Sanger, worked with my schedule, was professional, was willing to negotiate, got me a great rate, and now i have my first car and im in love with it. If you want a great buying experience and a nice car, I highly recommend going to see him. Already spread the word to my friends if they ever wanted to talk to someone purchasing a car.

Staff was nice enough but we drove about an hour and were hit with over 1k in doc fees and used car prep fees which I think should be included in the price of the listed car not added as extras to surprise you when you get there. Either way we didnt purchase and left but the staff was polite. It just would have been nice to know about those fees before hand when we were emailing and calling.
