I switched to My Eye Doctor because my insurance changed and my eye sight has been worse ever since I started coming here. They can’t seem to get my prescription right and they are saying its that my eyes changed after 40 ( I had only been 40 for a month at that point). They say buy a pair of readers to help, but my contacts suck. I never had a problem when I went to a private doctor. They ordered me a trial pair of a new prescription and didn’t call me to pick them up til 2 months later and when I went to pick them up, poodle-hair receptionist had an attitude and kept referring to how long it took me to pick them up. Maybe it’s just this location but the staff is always weird, disgruntled, and unfriendly. I would definitely recommend going to a private doctor. Your eye care will be taken more seriously.

Everyone was nice but the Lady at the front desk.... she did not welcome us when we walked in the door and was rude when we tried to walk over to browse the frames. Would not recommend this particular office. Having worked in customer service for over 25 years, I must say customer service is everything and not everyone has personality for it.

Used to love comeing here but now Im not sure just got new glasses there alredy broke and I cant supper glue them ones wont be ailbe to fix them soi need come up with money or go blind for 2 years

Overall not a good experience. I was also very surprised in the obvious lack of diversity at this location. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable.

Was supposed to have a appointment today at 7:10 Pm Even have a email to prove it and I show up at 7 Pm the door says to call before entering so I call and Say I’m here for my appointment I give my name and info then I’m told I’m in their system but I don’t have a appointment today and the doctors already left and are having issues with online scheduling so I waisted my time and gas. Then all they say is do u want me to make u a appointment a few months later? I said no I need a new pair of glasses badly and I will be going somewhere else. Why not call me and tell me I don’t have a appointment anymore? Or were they lying and to lazy to check out my eyes?

The manager Mitchel was so helpful.They made a warranty replacement for my son super simple. Also in the past when something has been wrong they really have gone above and beyond to make it right. I really appreciate the service I received today.

The receptionist Emily was extremely rude and incompetent. She was more worried about what was on her phone and talking amongst her peers rather than do her job. She rubbed me the wrong way so much I wanted to walk out of there. Sadly, I’ve been waiting for my exam for months and desperately needed an exam. The optician who helped me pushed extras on me without asking or explaining.

Angry, after being misquoted on how much my exam was. Wont be coming back. The eye doctor was plenty nice and I got my prescription. But its a good thing we had extra cash for it was well over 30 dollars more then what we were quoted only to have the woman ringing us up pretty much telling us oh well. Dont need a follow up post from the owner, we have moved on to a better eyecare provider.

For my first visit with them Im really happy with how it went. Staff was friendly and were very easy to talk to and helpful. The eye doctor she was awesome and surprisingly I had more to choose from for glasses then my eye doctor I use to go to. Plus I loved how the doctor didnt complain about my eyes being in the negatives like my old doctor did.

Dr was great and the staff very helpful. Thank you for making my experience a good one! Really helped a high anxiety situation calm down by the employees being so courteous and attentive to my needs.

I’m sorry to report that I have not had a good experience at this store. The optometrist was very personable and professional. However, I’m disappointed in the service I received. When I scheduled the appointment over the phone I provided my insurance information. About a week later I got a call asking for it again and I took my cards to the office. I was asked for my information a third time when I came for my appointment. I was told my glasses would be ready on May 20 and when I called to follow up I was told they wouldn’t be ready until Friday, May 24th. When I called on Friday I was told they just shipped and may be here on Saturday or Monday. When I attempted to get through today I had to leave a message and no one called me back. I know that there are snags in the progress sometimes but no one bothered to communicate with me. In my opinion, the customer service at this store leaves a lot to be desired.

I like the doctor there but I called and the person gave me a 2 month out appointment went online and scheduled the next week for an eye exam. I tried to call 3 times to schedule for my child and got the automated system each time. While holding got hung up on immediately. Been with them for years but the customer service is not what it use to be and items are ridiculously overpriced. In the past with the same insurance my glasses were at best $100 now the price has doubled.

Went here because my insurance changed and this was listed as a location that accepted it.I got there and checked in fine.The girl who checked my eye pressure was nice and competent, the doctor was nice too.Then I got to the check out part and they tell me it’s going to be $90 because the doctor had to ‘fit me for contacts’ when they hadn’t even provided me with new contacts yet, and at that I told them what type I used and that I was happy with them and they still suggested to switch brands.It was covered by my insurance but the contacts that they recommended are FAR too strong for my eyes and hurt to wear and now I’ll have to pay out of pocket for my entire year of contacts.Very disappointed that these things were not disclosed before hand, I’ve never been charged $90+ to be ‘fitted’ for contacts and then on top of it have them not even be comfortable to wear, AND then have to buy my whole years worth of contacts because they took all the insurance money to put towards their ridiculous fees.At my old doctors office they gave you a trial pair and then called you 3 days later to see how they fit and to finish ordering your contacts for you. This process was much better and made me feel confident in what I was getting.

Staff made me feel very uncomfortable. I will not be returning to this business and neither will my family.

If you like paying for contacts then waiting 6 months to get them, this is the perfect place for you. They never return phone calls. They have told us 5 times that the contacts were ordered, and after each follow up, someone forgot. Please go elsewhere.

Myeyedr. has provided me with my glasses the past few years. I have been very pleased with their services and the staff at their Lyles Center office are very helpful and pleasant to work with each time! My husband and I will continue to business with them and also have even told a few friends about the great work the company has consistently done for us.

Its generally very crowded so plan to wait for help or delays in your appointment time. Doctor was very nice and thorough. Ordered full year supply of contacts prior to my approval during trial period. Tried two other trial pairs, then ordered the one I liked and order was never placed. Reordered so hopefully it will be done right this time. Overall not a bad place just usually crowded and understaffed so be prepared.

Staff is friendly and I never felt rushed both with my exam and ordering my glasses. Like many people I had to take awhile to decide on which frames I wanted she (dont remember her name) told me to take my time and let her know when I decided. Ill be back for further vision care.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. I have a 6 year old who we have been glasses from here for 3 years. Anytime he breaks them we bring them in without calling and they fix them right there on the spot. The staff is always courteous and nice. They even rushed my order of glasses without me asking because they knew my son was starting school and needed them bad. I will go back and would suggest them to anyone.

They took me back quickly and Matt was great in helping to pick out frames and explaining my insurance coverage.

I was disappointed in the service I received. I ordered glasses on December 7, 2016. I had not received the glasses by the end of the month. I called twice during that time to check on the status before I cancelled the glasses. It then took two calls to the office to have my credit card refunded. I will not recommend them to anyone in the future. I dont know if the association with The Eye Doctor has had an impact on the services but I do know I received much better service when they were Allegany Optical.

Terrible!!!! I had an appointment today at 9 am. I had to find a baby sitter in the process of buying a home and moving. Got there the one woman remembered me calling but didnt have me on the schedule! Im having eye issues and now cant be seen! I will be contacting my lawyer if my eye gets worse!! Worst service ever I will never be back or bring my 4 children here!!!! I highly recommend you find somewhere else to go!!!!

Friendly, but, Soooooooo SLOW! Finished my exam about 15-20 minutes ago and still waiting for someone to check me out (take my money) so that I can leave. Ridiculous!!!

Front desk staff was friendly, but the Assistant Manager that helped my son was very rude & acted like she couldnt wait to be done with us. Plus the selection of glasses for our insurance has depleted massively. Probably wont be returning, we will stick with LongMeadow.

Staff was friendly greated as soon as i entered I seen a lot of bad reviews didnt have 1 issue glasses even came early and yes they was understaffed but they let me know upfront there my be a little wait which wasnt even that bad of a wait

I have sat here 20 min at least 4 employees walking around no greeted me.
