A very unique shop with fun things to do with friends and family members. The terrarium bar is very interesting and the staffs were super friendly and knowledgeable. They packed my glass globe really well so I could take it with me on the flight. Many thanks. Bravo!

What a place! A lot of kits that you can purchase to build into something innovative. A must visit place for young minds.

Stumbled across this place and ended up spending an hour exploring the store and creating a couple of decorative terrariums (terraria?). Nothing makes you feel more like a kid than paying for activities (like planning for gold or stamping your own dog tags) in doubloons, which cost a certain amount in dollars to purchase inside the store. Fun experience that you definitely dont get to have every day. Check it out!

This is a beautiful store to visit. But stay open minded because during these times with the pandemic a star is taking place outside. Which is very mindful of them. I always enjoy every piece they have. Just today I bought four items. And had a very sweet conversation with the lady who helped me. it feels so good to have human contact other than the usual people I speak to. The three items that I purchased for each a gift. I truly advise anybody to stop by Oddyssea. It is a very sweet and special store.

This is a really interesting shop with an outdoor area where you can make various crafts. They sell a wide variety of great gifts for the person who likes to experiment and make things and likes trinkets that are a little out of the ordinary. Definitely worth checking out while strolling around downtown Half Moon Bay.

This place is such a gem!! I discovered it on my way into town on our road trip and man, I was not disappointed! Traveling with my two daughters (6yo and 9 yo) and we had so much fun!! Prices for the quality of the crafts you could make were extremely fair. I did spend a small fortune because they were so excited for each activity that we ended up doing 5 of them!(pearl necklace, enchanted terranium, message the bottle, open the geode, and treasure hunt) We spent 3 hours doing all the activities. Great family time! The gift shop is so uniquely charming and I was very impressed with the pricing of all the items to purchase there too. I wish there were more places like Oddyssea! Thank you for the wonderful memories and souvenirs we created there! We will be back!!

Love this store and of you have kids this is a must stop kind of place. There are a bunch of activities to do in the outdoor/yard section that are super unique and fun such as crashing gem stones or searching for treasures like you would search for gold. And inside it is just full of scientific type of gadgets with towns of drawers to open full of surprises. Like I said, a must do!

Oddesea is actually two shops, one outside with fun activities such as sand art, where you pour colored sand into bottles in beautiful designs, and it is even home to the worlds largest marble run! Inside is a gift shop with lots of weird gifts, like marbles with insects inside, and entire cabinets filled with rocks and minerals. Both are great, and not too expensive.

Quirky kids store with shells, skeletons, rocks and other natural sciences items that appealed to us seniors. Definitely worth a visit with reasonable prices. Real kids seemed to love it!

Activities outside are clearly marked and fun for kids, and for the adults watching, too. Inside has a myriad of items to look at (and purchase). Great place!

A neat shop with the coolest Knick-knacks, a Zoltar machine and Half Moon Bay souvenir penny machine. They have a mic of things nautical, natural (uncommon stones, e.g.), off-beat, and historical. The layout is open and inviting, and the staff are very friendly.
