Kaniz works magic on my eyebrows every time I come to see her. She takes her time with her work and she takes into account how you like your eyebrows shaped. I once made the mistake of going to someone else and it’s taken me years to get them to grow back, never doing that again. The space that Silk and Stone has is absolutely beautiful and clean! It’s the perfect place to come and relax and get pampered.

If I could give more than 5 starts I would! Above and beyond service, had a oil head massage, which is my second time and they are amazing for damaged hair like mine. Also was helped with mirgrane/pain issues, very knowledgeable. Cant wait for next time.

This holistic spa experience is the greatest. I never get to step in a place that dies my hair that does not smell anything toxic ir unpleasant. Every hair salin that dies hair always smells aweful and cause me to feel nauseous but not at Silk And Stone. All their products are natural and mostly all plant base so I do not smell any ammonia or Sulfur r or any toxic scent for that matter. It is a pleasant experience for me.

Petra did a great job at threading. She took her time (which I really appreciate!) and went back over certain areas. I have very fine, very blond facial fuzz so it is difficult to see. I often come home from a session and find whole patches left! But she got nearly everything. She did great on my brows as well. Shaped and cleaned them up, but didnt thin them. Happy with the results, would recommend 🤗

I rarely get to treat myself and havent been to a spa in quite some time. I lucked out when I got paired up with Margaret. I had a mini facial and spa pedicure. It was wonderful. Margaret has over 20 years of experience, a calming personality and didnt pressure conversation. I fell asleep during the pedicure! The ambiance of the spa is beautiful. I enjoyed the complimentary tea as well.

Gorgeous atmosphere and products! Syed generously took the time to share his knowledge and experience about healthy hair. He sent me home with products that will help my hair be stronger and more conditioned. Worth the trip! Plus can buy henna from local business instead of online. 🌈

I had a pedicure here, as a walk-in. I was delighted they were able to get me in quickly without an appointment. Color selection is limited (around a hundred colors; fine unless youre looking for something specific). Pedicure was good, and I greatly appreciated that Margaret tailored it to my specific needs. The only odd bit was that she cut all of my nails at an angle - longer on the left, shorter on the right (on both feet!). I cleaned that up at home a few days afterward. She tells me that her pedicures last for six weeks, but after a week this one seems to be wearing at about the typical rate. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful, and the tea was delicious.

The staff here are very friendly and skilled. Highly recommend the brow threading and hot oil scalp treatments. Their product line is great quality too.

I got a facial as a pre-baby pampering gift and was not disappointed! :) Petra was fantastic! She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even gave me tips on how to handle my combination skin. For years I have visited this shop to buy gifts for people. Family and friends love the quality of the unique products they make and sell. My visits were also just an excuse to soak in the atmosphere. I always love how relaxed, inviting and peaceful the place is. But as a guy, I didn’t think about using any of the services myself.So I just had a massage there and it really was remarkable! And considering the services offered, it was very affordable. I’m grateful to live so close to this place!

I’m so grateful that Silk and Stone provides Henna Hair color services! The permanent, natural color is the best option for me. Syed is so helpful with choosing color, from the strand test all the way through to the finished product. I have long, damaged hair that is coarse and unruly. I went in for a hair conditioning mask and I cannot believe how gorgeous my hair is! It air dried beautifully (I usually have to blow dry and straighten) with gorgeous fat curls at the end. I am hooked. This is now my go-to spot for hair care. Its just totally worth it. Ive never seen results like this before, and I subscribe to two beauty subscription boxes. Plus, all the products are natural and vegan, reasonably priced, and they smell great! Id recommend that you bring a scarf with you if you get the treatment. They mix up an incredible mask based on your needs, apply it, and then you can either stay for awhile and have them rinse it out, or go home and rinse it out. I chose to go home, which allowed me to leave it in for three hours, but it was a little weird walking out with green hair and a shower cap. A scarf would cover it no problem.

Awful experience from start to finish. Called to ask a couple questions and book my appointment and neither person I talked to knew anything. I was looking at their website while talking to them and they didnt know the facial or deal I was referring to even existed. Finally came for my facial and my technician wasnt ready for me even though I was her first appointment of the day. She also tried to up sell me the entire time saying I should add this service and that service and buy this product and that product which was super annoying and didnt lend to a relaxing facial. However, the facial itself was so bad it wouldnt have been relaxing anyway. She got the mask in my eye and nose multiple times and had me clean it out. And she was so rough and abrupt moving from one part of my face to another that it literally felt like she was hitting me. I could go on and on giving more examples why this was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER but Ive already written a novel so I will stop there. Bottom line...dont go here.

I had my first Lavender and Sugar Body Scrub recently. It was a treat to the senses - many aromas as well as touch - and very relaxing. This is not a massage - its more like a facial for the whole body.The environment was peaceful and relaxing and the woman who did the treatment was kind and had a good quality touch. A very nice experience.

I have been going to this woman for years, she used to work out of her home and then moved, and Im always left impressed. The henna is always intricate and beautiful, but expect to pay a good price for the quality. I also get compliments about my eyebrows after I get them threaded. Its less painful then waxing, and I have very sensitive skin so the minimal redness after the treatment is a plus.

This review is only for eyebrow threading with Petra. I made an appointment one week earlier, received reminders via email, and came in 10 minutes early. Parking is scarce (only a couple of spots out in front street). My experience itself was fantastic -- I have never had anyone take their time like Petra did in order to make sure my brows were shaped EXACTLY the way I wanted. Once she shapes one brow, she has you check to make sure its up to par before doing the other. She also let me use some brow powder to fill in before I left!

A friend and I went to a Henna class here--LOVED it! She made it really easy to understand and to try ourselves. It was pretty pricey, but included Middle Eastern food from the restaurant next door, and a percentage off all henna supplies we bought from the shop that day.

I came to Silk and Stone for a henna party and I am really glad that I did. My daughters and their friends and I all had a wonderful time, learned about henna and really enjoyed the designs that the henna artist did for us.As a woman in my 40s, baring my abdomen in public is not something I do easily, especially with some very recent surgical scars. I had an event to go to that the henna work helped me feel confident at. I got lots of compliments and the henna artist very cleverly incorporated my scars in the henna design.I would definitely go back again by myself or hosting or attending a party. It was a really lovely experience.
