I went to a couple other places and got quotes that you could tell they were just pulling out of their butts to see if I would go for it. Best auto repair shop I have ever come across. This is a father and son shop run by Bob Cappella who is honest, loves cars, and offers great customer service.During a road trip, I had car trouble and was looking for someone to fix my car. Even though he was busy and it was 2:30 pm on a Friday, Bob agreed to take a look if I could get my car to his shop. Two other shops told me the earliest that they could look at the car was Monday.Bobs mechanic gave it a test drive and put the car on the lift as soon as he heard the bad sounds the car was making.I know nothing about cars and had no idea what the problem was. Turns out that tire was about to fall off. We had recently had the tires balanced and an alignment job by another shop and they did not attach the tire properly. The tire only had 1 lug nut left holding it on loosely. The wobbling scored the rotor. Bob fixed the scoring, put the tire back on, checked all the other tires and had me back on the road in 1 1/2 hours.I thought I was going to have to rent a car and go back to pick up my car on Monday like everyone else was saying.Bob advised that I should get reimbursed from the other shop (which I did).While I was waiting a steady stream of customers came and went. They were clearly regular customers who trust Bob. One guy commented that they are the best in town.I only wish I had a repair shop like this near my home.

Im a student at a local university and Cappella took kindly to that realizing I didnt have the kind of money that was needed to fix my car. Not only did they finish my car in under 24 hours, but they also cut my price nearly in half. At first I thought this was too good to be true, but after researching online, it really was Cappella being so kind. Bill, Bob, and John, are three of the nicest guys youll meet and really make an effort to communicate to you about every move they make. I will certainly be a repeat customer.

Brought my work van to capella because of a nasty noise it had started making. I needed my van back as soon as possible. Bob and the crew were able to fix it and get it back to action in a very timely manner.This is the 4th or 5th time Ive brought one of my cars to Capella auto. I know very little about automotive and used to worry about getting hosed by a repair shop. I do not worry anymore since Ive been going to Bob. These guys are family guys making a living fixing cars. I respect that and trust them fully.Every time Ive taken my vehicles there, its been fast, fair and professional. I recommend getting your work done there, I wouldnt even bother looking elsewhere.

If you havent read Joses review here, you should, because he tells you exactly how it is with this guy. I cant tell you the number of things he has ruined in the course of fixing my car. It makes me sick that I stayed with him for as long as I did, but he was referred to me by a friend. I should have stuck with my first impression of him and run like hell. Dont sabotage your car with these butchers. I had to give him one star in order for this to post, but that is way overrating him.

Seemed nice. Called to set up an appointment for a timing belt change on my 1995 Honda Prelude with 58k miles. Car ran mint but I did it as a precation. Got a reasonable price, brought it in to have it done. Came to pick it up, immediately drove off and noticed it was running odd. Brought it right back, explained, and the guy drives and says Im not saying youre lying, but that couldve already been like this. Plays around with the motor mounts to try and fix it, and after not much resolution says thats about all he can do, but reassures me the car is fine. Car runs funny and has a rough idle but cant do much about it since I just dumped $700 into it. A couple weeks later, car overheats, come to find out the coolant is now completey empty. I fill it up, and the next day the coolant is low and full of brown sludge. I call the place to have them say that there is absolutely no way it was anything they did, but I should bring it down and have them look at it.Yeah right. Let me bring it down to the place that caused my head gasket to blow. But the guy even said, verbatim, Either your car was already having these issues, or it was just a coincidence that it had an issue after we worked on it. Not our fault. So now the beautiful Honda Prelude that ran like a top is on the verge of death all because of poor service from an inexperienced, uncaring, and shady rinky dink shop. Wouldnt even recommend this place to someone that I hated, no one deserves such a bad experience.

Over the years, Ive taken my automobile to Cappellas more than once, as they are the closest mechanic to my home. In recent times, however, I have have come away dissatisfied with their customer service and with the quality of the work that they do. My experience is that Cappellas customer service is now simply terrible. Beyond that, theyve improperly or incompletely installed after-market parts, failed to make completion deadlines and hardly ever return phone messages. From a single other experience with them, I would not recommend the purchase or installation of any rebuilt part from Cappella Auto Repair. After a few disappointing attempts to support this local business, I moved on to another ~ and much better ~ mechanic. Caveat emptor.
