Went in to get my wife a Nintendo Switch. Employees were very helpful with some game suggestions, my wife has really enjoyed it. I prefer shopping in store so I cam easily compare games and get recommendations from the employees. This location has some real friendly people.

I get that it is the after holiday season and things are busy but it seems really lazy that they didnt even try to help me get a game. I was looking for a specific game. Come to find out they didnt have it but other stores did. I asked if it was possible to have it shipped here since none of the GSs that had the game were close. Nope we dont do that. Youll have to order it offline. It was out of stock online...Fast forward today. I work out in Anderson township. Decided to check out the GS there. We dont have it but another store does. Would you like me to have it shipped here for pickup later? Yes. I would!Every other past experience Ive had here has been negative as well. They always seem like they dont really want to help. Snooty attitudes and just being generally short with customers.

My son got a ton if gift cards for his birthday and we went and cashed them in today. Found plenty if new games but there were two cashiers and one was helping while the other stood and had literally a 10 min convo about who knows what with someone he seemed to have known letting a line back up. This is our regular gamestop and this happens everytime we go there.

On March 24, 2019 I went to the GameStop at the Bridgewater Falls Plaza around 2:30 PM. I intended to trade in my previously owned iPhone 7 256GB AT&T version as I had recently upgraded phones. When I went into the story and after waiting for the employees to finish their conversation (it was quite. obvious that they felt as though I had disturbed their conversation) I gave them the iPhone to trade in. The phone is in complete working order, a perfect screen, and no damage outside of standard wear and tear through over two years of use. On the GameStop website my item met all the requirements of a Working item yet when I went inside, who I assume to have been the manager of the store, looked at it and saw the slight abrasions on the side and said that because the phone was damaged it would need to be considered defective. I said that that was ridiculous as the phone is not damaged; even by GameStops website it would not be considered damaged due to damaging having to consist of: cosmetic damage that impairs functionality. It is standard wear and tear from use and does not impact the use at all.I told the employee I would just take it to the other GameStop that I normally shop at. The employees words were Hopefully theyll actually take it. I replied back that Im sure they would as they arent lazy and are looking for a way out of having to go through the full trade in process. When I said this the employee became violently offensive saying several statements of how I dont take care of my products and he doubts that they will take the phone in trade. I have shopped at GameStop for decades, and shopped at hundreds of stores throughout my life and to say that this was the worst treatment I have ever had at a store would be an understatement.The employee ignored GameStop standards for trades and it was quite obvious that they just didnt want to to go through the process of trading in a phone. I get that a trade in can take a bit of time as I did one last year as they have to plug it up to the machine, check the IMEI, and many other aspects but that laziness and unwillingness to do their job was extremely offensive as a customer and woefully unacceptable. Its made it quite clear that I will never shop at this location again.

Do not attempt to trade in used devices, as the people here will scam you. I was offered $95 for two used iPhones. When I called the manager out on his lowball and terrible customer service, he gave me attitude and threatened to call the police. I took the phones to a used cellphone shop inside Tri-County Mall the next day and got $220 for them. GameStop is a complete waste of time and their company takes advantage of unknowing customers.

They wear helpful.. The only problem is when I got home I did not have all the cords I needed to set up the system

My son absolutely loves going to game stop he can get his top games pre order or just buy reused games with his money he makes. That makes a kid feel good when they can spend their own money on things they like.

This Game Stop is terrible. Bad customer service. So I went in to buy a copy of a game today (just to be clear this game has two versions) and tge game i wanted was tge last copy they had and the right one I was looking for. I picked it up and bought it, went home only to find out it was the wrong copy of the game. So I went back there to get the right one only for them to tell me that they never had that copy of the game so they cant give it to me.Why sell and advertise a game that you dont have? Why would you stand there knowing that youre giving me the wrong game? Ive had too many problems with this game stop and this isnt the first time theyve gave me the wrong game. Not coming here again.

My kid has been saving his money for over six months to buy a tablet. He was super excited to buy the Google Nexus 7 because Gamestop has it advertised for 199.99 in their display case. Today he goes to buy what he has saved for and the clerk tells us that they dont have any at 199.99 only 229.99 and it is only $30 more. I ask for a raincheck for the 199.99 version and was told that they couldnt give me one, that they didnt know when that version would be coming in, if they would every get one in again and that other Gamestop stores didnt have it. I asked why the 199.99 version was the one advertised in their display case if they didnt have it and couldnt get it. All I got in response was a shrug of the shoulders. Classic BAIT & SWITCH!!! Not the lesson I had intended to teach my son today, but the reality of Gamestops business practices I guess.
