Worst salesman that I had ever seen. First, one salesman tell me a price of 17,000 on a Honda H-RV and told me that we can get it for 16,000 or 1,000 dollars of the sales price if we get the deal right now. I check on line and see that that car in their web page was 16,420. So I figure out that the salesman was lying to me in the real price of the car. I ask for another salesman to tell what append and want to talk to a manager and they send another salesman that call him self Oklahoma or something like that and he took our information and was going to work out the numbers to lower the price 1,000 less than the sales price. He say that he has a lot of experience working and the other salesman was new. At the end he make me wait 30 minutes just to tell us he could not honor the sales price quoted by the other salesman be cause the price ended in 20 dollars and that price was the lowest he can go. If he has to much experience selling cars way he make me wait 30 minutes to tell me that. Never going back to that place, they have very bad salesmen, they need to train better their salesmen. First time that I walk into a dealer and walk out without making a deal or a car, I buy cars very often for family and fiends because I know a lot of cars. Vary bad experience.

It’s all sunshine and rainbows when you go in until the crooks step in. They’re all trained crooks. In these times of desperation they just want your money and double at that. Do not be fooled! They will charm you and deceive. Make sure you look at your contract. Watch out for finance. Do not buy unless you’re desperate. Word of mouth from another sales person, best to go to McAllen.

I already had a deal with Toyota of San Antonio but someone else put a down payment on it before me. Called up Toyota of Harlingen, around closing time, since they had the same red Camry SE that I wanted. They quickly matched the deal so I dropped off my trade in and signed the necessary paperwork and was out the door. I felt really bad that the team had to stay past closing time but they all had a wonderful attitude and took excellent care of me. We will definitely return and I highly recommend them.

I had another great experience buying an SUV at Bert Ogden Toyota in Harlingen yesterday. I did not plan on buying a car, but the deal they proposed was so good, I couldnt say no. This is the second car I buy from them. They make it a good and fun experience to shop for a car. Dont waste your time going to any other car lots around the valley. Tell them what you want; theyll get it! Andrew, my salesman, was respectful and friendly always asking me if this was what I wanted. It took less than 24 hours to find my car! Very disappointing. Our salesman was good and we bought a vehicle but thats where the problems begin. They had just gotten the vehicle as a trade in. When we when to see it it was being serviced. We test drove it and liked the way it drove. We went the next day to sign paperwork and left the dealership without knowing when it would be delivered. Two days passed and no phone call as to the status of the vehicle. I had to call in twice and no one could give me a straight answer as to when we would get our vehicle. Then I started getting a little bit more information after a week of trying to get our vehicle home. The vehicle was being serviced again and they were waiting for a part. Im taking it that they put on the car part so then a technician tells our salesman that the vehicle could not pass the state inspection. Our salesman finally told us that after all that, they could not sell us the vehicle after all. So, disappointing. This was the first time we deal with Bert Ogden Toyota and it maybe our last. I might have set the expectation too high for them to meet.

I was just shopping and looking for rebates and deals. I had been looking for a vehicle but since I didn’t have established credit I didn’t want to make any sudden moves. I did not want to rely on any co signer because I wanted and needed to build my credit. I was not budging just window shopping. Then came Albert and he treated me like I was somebody. He has some of the best customer skills I have never seen anywhere before. Long story short Albert Sales Manager and Marcos sales associate, and Arnold Burkholder treated me like royalty and did not stigmatize me because I was a female and did not have the best credit score. I have own a Toyota for the last 20 years. I will not buy a Toyota from this dealership ever! I HIGHLY recommend you don’t either. For the sake of your safety and that of your families, DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership. They sold my mom a truck where the breaks did not work. When we called to tell them about it, they suggested she drive it to a closer dealership. SERIOUSLY?! When she wanted to trade it in, they ensured they got their money worth and more. Heads up to someone who buys a 2020 Gray Toyota Tacoma and the breaks go out. They will tell you “the computer “ didn’t catch anything. Long gone are the days of reliable mechanics and honest people. At least at this Toyota dealership.

The experience I had was very disappointing. I was lied to by the finicial manager and was mislead to purchase the extended warranty when the car i was purchasing already had manufacturer warranty and also has 100,000 warranty by Toyota. I drove around in a car for a month and a half and was called to come in and sign a new contract. I would never do business with Bert Ogden again.

Sales staff was wonderful, not pushy, got us exactly what we wanted. But here’s the kicker- we bought a van on a Thursday, they told us we could pick it up Monday. Monday came and went, we were told we could pick it up Tuesday. WE had to call THEM Tuesday, and we’re EVENTUALLY informed we could pick it up Thursday or Friday OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK. Got a call Thursday of that same week & got told that they just had to detail it and I’d get a call after lunch. Guess what? NO PHONE CALL. It’s Friday now, no one is answering our calls or questions. We have gotten 15 different excuses and no CLEAR answer on when we can even pick our new vehicle up- which, by the way, is already signed for!Got some answers. Will update Monday when we can allegedly pick up our vehicle.

Was really looking forward to buy a truck. Did all my research and finally settled on what I wanted. Went in person to see what offers they had but couldn’t agree on a final price so I left. Later was contacted by online services person and when I asked if we could discuss prices before I went in so as to not waste anyone’s time in case we couldn’t agree again I was basically told just to order online and that was the end of that conversation. Don’t get me wrong everyone I spoke to was friendly and courteous but when it comes down to haggling for a good price I meet a brick wall.
