Went there to turn in a tow dolly from U-Haul.The young man working there was helpful and courteous

Sold us a car that was running. Within 3 weeks transmission was messing up. We notified Cuevas since it was still under 30 day warranty. They told us it might be fuel injectors or some nonsense they wouldn’t look at it. Fast forward two months complete transmission failure they wanted to charge us 75 to get towed with a credit card over the phone first. Wanted us to pay the entire costs and make payments while they keep the car 3-4 weeks to get fixed. Ended up surrendering the car. Not once we’re we offered anything to help us or even maybe waiving the tow fee would have been nice. Never buy from this dump

My mom recently bought a car here and the test drive was okay the car was a good car. then after a couple months it started falling apart the AC leaks water every time we turn.

When you believe that something is wrong or unjust, you want to fight it and try to make it right. Thats what I tried doing today. And I dont know if management is going to read this or not, but I do want to voice my concern about what happened. By the way, Letty...I know that you were just doing your job. So, this one is for management at Second Chance Finance. My policy for Progressive started on Jan. 8, and the CPI insurance coverage ran from Jan. 2 - Feb. 1. Granted that I didnt have Progressive coverage for 6 days, I was willing to pay the CPI insurance coverage to cover for those 6 days. Which would be the RIGHT THING TO DO. HOWEVER...management thought that I needed to pay for the WHOLE month of January, even though I already have insurance covered for January (through Progressive). So, I ended up paying $115 extra because thats what the system came up with as far as the numbers are concerned. VERY disappointed.

No pressure from the sales guy, asked how much I was looking for a monthly payment, how much I had down and showed me what he had available. Straight to the point. Good stuff.

After hearing about Cuevas being under new management I decided to give them another try. Mr Cuevas was able to get me into the car I wanted even though I didnt have much down! Thank you Mr Cuevas!

I went by and only had a bit down the sales man Rita with great attitude full of excitement ND really awesome told me to wait till Friday and come up with a bit more and she got me into a truck and man do I love it thanks RITA and to me cuevas you hired a hell of a sales person better than San benito

GREAT SERVICE!!!! Looking for a car for our son who is 18 with no real credit of course. I mean we have all been there and usually a problem right? Well Cuevas Motors In Harlingen made it easy and affordable, he was able to finance a suv with no problems, now he has the freedom he needs to go to school and work. Not only that they were able to give him a discount with a few thousand off the original price. WOW thanks to the management and staff, we were truly blessed today!!!!! I have been looking for a vehicle and I was contacted by one of the sales men, and I asked for a call back and to send photos of what he had...never heard from him again. I sent an email with a request and I have yet to have any response. I was taking my business here, but now I rather go elsewhere where they actually acknowledge their customers.

Heard about this place from a friend decided to check it out great staff helped me select the right vehicle that was within my budget. If your looking for a car or truck and are on a budget i definitely think you should checkout these guys.

JJ was excellent in helping me with what I needed to know but the man that showed me the “numbers” was out of his mind! Let them tell it they were doing a customer special of $800 down and you picking what you could comfortably pay each month but then I took a Uber up there and everything changed after that. After looking at two cars and seeing these “customer appreciations” they lowered the monthly to what I could pay but then added $600 to the down payment. Like what, how the hell am I supposed to pay all of this plus handle everything I already do?!? So I left. This is ludicrous. This is the one in Harlingen but it has my wife and I scared to go to the one in San Benito. There were so many hidden prices that I had to leave and deny their “specials”. Don’t go here. I don’t recommend it. Too many hidden “deals”. Manager or whoever he was was just trying to get money for cars that are ready to die.

The bad thing is they dont report to any credit bureau. U would think after making payments on time they would help u out by letting the bureaus now to help with credit

DO NOT GO TO THEM !!!This have to be the most shadiest car lot I ever been to . Soon as I got my truck I had problems with it so I took it to their “ mechanic “ 5 TIMES ! For the same problem but they couldn’t fix because obviously they don’t know what they’re are doing so I eventually to it to a legit mechanic and they fix the problem right a away but I had to spend $800 dollars on a car I haven’t even had for a month .& they offer ILLEGALL insurance called cpi and forces you to pay it .

They are willing to help you no matter what your situation is bad credit no credit they’ll help you even if you have had repos real flexible with all your options

Horrible service.. was told my payment was going to be 450 ended up paying 520 a monthThey told me they were going to fix my windshield but never did your better off taking your money somewhere else

They go that extra mile to get you in a vehicle and they make sure that you are satisfied with it.

Let me test drive two vehicles when I told them I had a certain amount and they said it was ok with what I had then saw that I really liked it and raised the amount on me by triple....... With the amount I had I went with TIPTON and I was able to get the same car. !!!
