My auto parts store were the other guys when Iived in NJ, but now I have been going to Advance bother here and in Enola. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is unmatched! They are so great. The sales are really good, especially with the coupons you get via email. Keep up the good work, Advance.

These two stars are for the day shift guys that were very rude and disrespectful to my brother! My brother came to return some parts, he lost the receipt to but were purchase on his credit card. they could have easily been looked up but instead of giving good customer service, those men that worked there proceeded to be very rude and disrespectful and make my brother feel like a thief in the night! First of all they were the wrong parts to begin with that is the reason for the return. Second, these men, in front of a store full of people proceeded to tell my brother that he was not getting cash back, which was never his intention to begin with, he just wanted the money put back on his card! Then these gentleman, I call them gentleman lightly, proceeded to talk very disrespectful to him. When I called the store to complain I received a very disrespectful response from one of these men and then I was hung up on. So I called the main office in North Carolina! The nice woman I spoke with down there emailed me a receipt which I took down to Advance Auto Parts gave it to them and gave them a very good scolding myself! This is an auto parts store I go to almost every day! these gentlemen in the evening are fantastic! Very polite and very respectful Im not used to the ones like in the daytime! Advance Auto Parts management at Paxton Street really needs to train their daytime employees a little better! They need to tell them what customer service is really about because we did not receive good customer service that day! If it wasnt for the gentlemen in the evening at that store I would not be a customer anymore and I would take all my friends and Associates with me.

Never answer phone calls, Not even from another store calling them. This location Lacks Customer Care Entirely.Called multiple times as well as had other stores call and NEVER ANSWER....THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE ISSUE, THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER A PHONE CALL

Had everything i needed in Stock, just had to correct the quantities though.The ordering online can be confusing as to if your parts will be at store or are shipping to home.The e-mail confirmation of order can take 10 minutes or more, so you may have to be patient ;-)

I do not know much English and was struggling to ask for what I needed. The employee I was talking to knew Spanish but did not want to talk to me in Spanish. Then after decides to scream at me in front of everyone in Spanish. Can even check cameras this happened on June 6 at around 7:20.

I wouldnt want to go again. Small store. I asked if the sunshade I was going to buy was returnable. The guy was hostile and defensive. Huh? Might be an indication of the type of customers hes used to dealing with? He looked kinda rough, like he needed a shave and a bath. Luckily I had left my wallet at home b/c I didnt feel comfortable spending money there.
Not the friendliest group of people
Very good experience. Went in to see if my battery was still under warranty since it wouldnt hold a charge. They had to go some testing for about a half hour, which is understandable. It came back with a failure in the battery, and they had me back on the road in no time.
They knew exactly what I needed and service was prompt

Prices are high a lot of lower Quality Parts if you have the extra time shop to get internet even through advanced sight you can get cheaper prices more products and probably faster shipping then special ordering through the store

I went to Advanced Auto on Paxton St in Harrisburg to buy a jump box. The woman at the counter was extremely rude to my husband and I. She was flirting with other customers and eating a McDonalds sandwich but would not give us the time of day. We will never return. Horrible customer service. Beware.

I purchased a battery from this store 2 years ago. It comes with a 3 year warranty. Two weeks ago my Lincoln MKZ decided not to start. I jumped it and it started right up. Two days later its dead again. I jumped it again and took it to the store so they could exchange it. They tested it, the alternator and the starter but everything came up good. The woman that tested it tells me that I HAVE to START my car EVERYDAY for the battery to work correctly. The next day it again wont start. I had to take it in to get new tires, the tire place tested the battery and said it needed to be replaced. I took it back again to Advance, again the battery and such tests fine. He then proceeds to tell me that it is NOT the ALTERNATORS job to CHARGE THE BATTERY!!! Are you kidding me?!? I may have been born at night but it sure as hell wasnt last night! I called corporate to see what I could do as I know its the battery and not something else in the car. They told me they were unable to force the store to return the battery but I could go to another store. I did exactly that, I took it to the wonderful people in Lemoyne, they tested it and BAM its a bad cell. Imagine that! Swap it out for a new one, no more problems. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS STORE EVER! I SUGGEST YOU STOP GOING THERE AND GO TO THE LEMOYNE STORE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Always have the parts I need
For my personal situation, living within walking distance of both Advance Auto Parts and their competitor across the street, I can compare prices between the two retailers online, but Advance Auto usually comes out the least expensive for the same item or part after online discount promo codes. Just buy the part(s) on the website using whatever promo code (last example I can remember is buying a set of front rotors for $41 out the door using coupon code USABBX which took $14 off of the original $55) then select the Pick Up In Store option and within 30 minutes the parts are ready for pickup.The only gripe is that they really should stay open the extra hour later like their competitor access 16ththe street. That hour does actually make a big difference wTheir regular prices arent the least expensive on their own, but their online promo codes almost always make Advance Auto the least expensive and best choice.
