Excellent variety, straightforward staff, excellent price.

Our experience was disappointing to say the least. We ordered carpet for a stair runner. The installer was supposed to arrive at noon, and by 2PM, still had not shown up or called to provide an update. When I called to inquire about the installation time, the man I spoke to was very disrespectful when I said that I was no longer available for the installation that day. When the installer finally made it to the house, the installation went smoothly and looked very nice. We were left with extra carpet, so I took it back to the store to have a rug bound. I requested a 56 x 8 rug. The salesman refused to communicate with me, and only interacted with my husband, even though I was the one placing the order and paying for it. When I picked it up and brought it home a week later, I realized that it was cut to 61 x 89 and was too big for the small room that it was intended for. When I called to report the issue, the salesman was again rude and disrespectful. He did not offer any discount, refund, offer to pick it up and deliver it back to the house, or even an apology for the error. When I mentioned how frustrating the entire process had been with all of the delays and errors, the only offer they gave was that theyd be willing to give me $10 for my gas to bring the rug back and forth. We spent nearly $2,000 on the carpet, so $10 felt almost ridiculous. Overall, I love the carpet we chose, the installation was done well, and the corrected rug looks nice. However, I will never recommend M&Z carpet due to their terrible customer service.

We have purchased from M&Z several times in the past. We have ALWAYS been very happy with the entire experience. We did stop a a nearby competitor this time because they were new, just to test the water. WOW! We really realized just how good M&Z Costumer service and product knowledge is in comparison. From now on we won’t even bother looking elsewhere. The entire process was a breeze. The installer did an amazing job and did not mark up our walls or baseboards at all. We LOVE our new carpet! We are loyal customers for life and will refer everyone to M&Z. Thanks 😊

Of all the flooring companies weve experienced, M&Z was the best. The salesman, Doug, was attentive to our needs, dropped by to measure that same day, and was careful to explain contract and answer questions. Installer, Athan, was an outstanding Craftsman, showed up on time both days and even performed some touch-ups not included in contract. A+ all around.

I needed carpet for our steps when completing our basement renovation. I was on a very tight schedule to have it purchased and installed and the staff immediately went to work to call and see what install date was available. It was purchased, scheduled and installed in a week. Very pleased with the carpet and service. Other carpet stores laughed and said there was no way to help. Thank you M&Z!

My overall experience of working with M&Z was a great experience. I can recommend to anyone to have their wood floor installed by M&Z. Installer Sean and Gary are great people and also good workers. I want to thank M&Z for their great work.

Great selection of rugs. We bought two from them. However, it took much longer than they suggested for the items to be delivered to their store. They were pleasant to work with, though.

1. Sales representative offered a 10% discount on Saturday if I purchased by Sunday2. Sales neglected to ask me necessary questions relating to my living situation - I guess they assume all their customers live in the suburbs - she added $25 ($75 up to $100) onto delivery after we happened to discuss that I lived in an apartment building and she said now that I learned information about your living situation, I have to charge more for delivery3. Purchased Sunday - discount promised Saturday to get me to come back was never applied4. She called a few days later to say that they calculated my bill incorrectly which makes sense since they hand write them - I reminded her of the discount she forgot to give me - she argued that it was taken off so I noted that the price on my invoice matched the original price tag on the rug - she immediately agreed to take the discount5. During the conversation by phone she wanted to take payment by credit card, again writing down my information - they dont invest in secure payment options.6. At the end of the day I take away that they dont collect all information necessary to give an accurate price, if they make a mistake their customer pays even for marginal amounts and they will conveniently forget they promised a discount to get you back to their store. Its clear they are focused on every cent, even to the point that they will embarrass themselves and lose a customer over a $24 margin.If I owned the store, I would run it much differently. If you are interested in buying, dont offer any premium on goodwill - you can see from their reviews that there is none.Note: Sales represented was quite nice overall - I suggest a back office rep completes the calculation (in excel) as the sales rep focuses on the customer.

Many bad experiences with this company. I dont know where to start. They added over $2000 dollars of extras onto the job at the end. They didnt replace the padding (which I paid for), They sent people that didnt speak any English at all. They left my house a mess which is uncalled for.-Jerry

Drove 40 miles, said they close at 6pm. Got here at 5 pm and theyre closed!
