Within a matter of a few days and a few months of complaining, this store the past few days has really stepped up their game.. way to go Kroger team now keep it up and be amazing like we all know you can be! God bless you all

Quick in and out,little waiting in line,store very clean,always out of drinking water in gallon jugs,great deli,not quite as cheap as walmart but plenty of self checkouts plus always at least three regular lanes running for checkout.Good store.

Absolutely love the employees in this store! I have lived in Hartselle all of my life and shopped in Kroger most of it. Ordinarily if I can’t say something good about someone, well, I just don’t say. We are living in a pandemic of which extreme precaution is necessary. During the busy hours, it appears that every precaution is being taken to protect your valued customers and employees. PLEASE, PLEASE, UPPER MANAGEMENT, as a senior citizen and a loyal customer who so enjoys shopping at Kroger, would you have your employees respect our state law and wear masks while they are receiving and stocking our shelves during off hours. We would love to know that the same precautions are being taken at all times. Thanks in advance!

The manager Pat at this store is rude. She needs to learn how to speak to people if she is going to be in the role of “manager”. I’ve never had such an issue with this place until having to deal with her and basically being called a liar numerous times. Unbelievable. We shop here weekly and are in almost every other day picking up an item or two. We have never had an issue until tonight. I’ve worked with the public countless years and I am in shock that this woman is a manager with how she treats and speaks to people.

This Kroger is generally a very nice store filled with nice people. Fresh produce usually and they have worked hard during the CO19 situation. They deserve medals of courage. If I have one complaint: when Hartselle passed a law that allowed the sale of alcohol, the store replaced entire sections of food displays with booze. It was a big change and didnt settle well with many of the customers. The store isnt that big and filling whole aisles with wine and beer in place of dairy and eggs seemed a bit extreme. I do appreciate the gas station that was added.

Very disappointed and wont be back. I come here at least twice a month. My sister and law and I both come get drinks when they are on sale. We get 25 to 30 in one trip one transaction. Yesterday on 4/23/20 and was watched by 4 cashiers while loading 28-2liters in my buggy. I go to check out and was told there was a limit. Never had a limit before and then man cashier has checked me out numerous times before. They call a manager names Pat up there. She said there has been a limit for the 3 years she has worked there. Really? When and where is that posted??? There was absolutely nothing posted and never had been. I will never go back to Kroger again!

Mrs. Andrea in the deli department solved an almost major Thanksgiving dinner disaster for me ! She did not skip a beat when I called and was frantic because I thought I had placed an order for a turkey dinner for my family .to Come to find out the order did not go through online. She was as cool as a cucumber, she took my order, and said I could be there in 10 minutes to pick it up. She provided a Thanksgiving miracle in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I personally do not ever get this level of customer service anywhere I go and this is customer service at its finest. to She needs to be training other staff and show them how to be kind and caring to every customer . We as customers need to be just as understanding to the workers that are working on the holidays and not spending time with their families to make sure we have what we need for ours. Im sorry I didnt get her last name but I hope she gets credit for this.

The Manager James blake was very rude to a African American customer. I will be reporting his actions with proof to a higher department. Everyone should be treated equally no matter what your skin color is.

I go to Krogers at least once a week when the sales paper comes out & find some really good deals. The store is very clean making it nice to shop there & the employees are very friendly. I always find what I need plus a little bit more.

I like shopping here because they give a lot of coupons both through the mail and with your receipt. If you look around you can always find a few things marked down. The gas points are a great perk too. We always save a dollar a gallon on our gas each month.

The health food section has a pretty good variety. It would be nice if all the vegetarian and vegan products (meat alternatives, etc.), were still in that section, but Im sure there was a logical reason for changing the arrangements.

I have been shopping at this store for over twenty years. The only problem I have is the young baggers. You dont put cereal, suckers and detergent in an insulated bag and the frozen dinners and ice cream in a cloth bag. It is also not good to put ice cream bars in the insulated bag and set a gallon jug of orange juice on top of them. (Better Training). All in all, I love shopping here love the staff. Thank You

Its a great place to shop when in the area! The store is always clean and the staff (for the most part) is nice and helpful! I would recommend shopping here if you live in the area. If there was much more to say I would certainly share but we all pretty much know what the grocery store is like...

Im a regular Wednesday customer. Everyone is friendly from pharmacy to stockers to cashier. New gas station and its cashiers are great. The only drawback is the parking lot is way too small. Five businesses share about 50 spaces.

Friendly folks and Chase keep up the good work! You have no idea who I was and only knew little of my story. You dont know how much it means to have people like you when someone is going through such hard times! Thanks again!

Everyone in the store was very nice and attentive to my needs the prices were great and a gentleman took my groceries out to the car for me because I took a sick spelland thats the first time anyone has offered to do that for me at a grocery store in a very very long time so I gave them five stars and I will be going there from now on for my shopping needs

Some of the staff was friendly checking out but some of the staff stocking will tell you they dont know where certain items are. This isnt their department and not even try to help you locate the item you are looking for. But the clerks at the register was very helpful.

Great store I go to Hartselle specifically to shop here. ...it would be wonderful if there was one in Cullman where I am now ..Come on Google, I asked for grocery stores in Cullman not 19 9 miles away!!

Ive lived in Morgan Co. all my life and Kroger is the most consistent Grocery&Pharmacy Ive found. I can drop off my prescriptions and get my groceries while Im waiting. They also have a walk up-window and parking for pharmacy if Im in a hurry. And they have a Red box&Coinstar and also Western Union..

They need to try and keep in stock milo splenda and unsweetened tea. I dont know how many times I have come to this store to purchase these items and had to go elsewhere. Kroger this would be a great place for a store. You cant sell it if you dont have it in stock.

It was ok but I think they went a bit overboard on their new pickup area. They took up the best parking spots. Personally I would have set that area up at the side of the store. My Mama is threatening to stop shopping there.

Newman Richardson..Been shopping here for twenty years, but on 2/2/18 I was treated rudely by one of the older employees. I attempted to check out in the express lane about one oclock, and was informed by the cashier that I would have to go to another cashier because this was express. I was in a hurry, and felt I had the15 items more or less. As it turns out I paid for 18 items. That lane was not occupied and neither was the other one at the time. Not happy with that employee who should remember that the customer is always right. Doubt I will be back.

Nice people at the Hartselle store. But the manager their ran me down to mask me, even though CDC has now up graded web site, admitting that asymptomatic spreading is even more rare. Evidently store managers are now policing public health in our fair town. Too bad they cant keep the mask on their employees

Kroger is my favorite place to shop. Great sales and app coupons. Collect fuel points also. Example: Spend $300 a month on groceries and get 30 cents off a gallon.

They have the bbq ribs for sale... I normally love them, these were so burnt on the bottom we could not eat them. If I didnt live in the county I would get my money back!!

Its a good store and great for a small town

I have been shopping at krogers since the 70s and yesterday i met the rudest and foul mooded cashier. And i have been thru her register before. But this time, qhat i qas doing had nothing to do with her. She berated the guy trying to help me and without saying a word to me she had him stop helping me.She always is gossiping and stirring up at her job, i have noticed before. This time it included me and right or wrong the young man was almost finished helping me when she just had to put the kabash on it.Why Pat?

It is clean and the people friendly, but it doesnt always have the items Im looking for. Today they were out of my brand of bacon and I couldnt find cherry kool-aid without the artificial color.

Kroger is always a good place to shop. Right now here in hartselle they are doing some construction in the parking lot, so things are a bit crowded.

Very disappointed in the Deli. Not dependable to be able to go in and get the Boars head sandwiches or wraps at lunchtime. When you call ahead, before lunchtime, to see if they have any they dont and wont even make any until that afternoon. Forgive me if Im wrong but wouldnt you want to have them available at lunchtime? Cant wait until Publix opens

The meat is sub par, like it was cut by a first day butcher who also has Parkinsons. Cashiers were generally unfriendly but efficient.
