Adam - i just wanted to take a minute and thank you & your incredible staff at IMG - you took away ALL the stress of my recent auto repair & handled it flawlessly... when my Audi broke down on Long Island & AAA gave me a hard time about towing the car back to NJ, you stepped in, set up the tow quickly, ordered the steering system and got it installed - ALL IN A WEEKS TIME!!!!!!! and saved me $ to boot !!! please feel free to use this recommendation publicly and know you have a big fan here !! thanks again,rob schoenbach

I would not do business with International Motor Group LLC in New Jersey…I messaged them about a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo a few days back to try and negotiate a deal… The listed price was just over $139k and after a day or so of going back and forth with the salesman, we settled on an agreed price or $130,000…. This process was all part of an email chain and verifiable.Today, I sent them my drivers license and all the information they needed after doing a FaceTime call to inspect the car. The dealership was writing up the paperwork as I was arranging shipping and other details. There was no financing involved as I was already prepared to transfer them the money.I got confirmation on shipping cost and was told that the paperwork would be done by this afternoon. It did include $795 in fees which I was not thrilled about, but oh well…As I was on my way home from work, I received a phone call from the sales person who informed me that the owner of the dealer said no to the agreed upon price. He said that they had that much in the car and would need an extra $5000 to make the deal happen.I informed the salesperson who was very nice and helpful that raising the price after making a deal was not acceptable… I told him that I would not pay more than the agreed upon price. He said he would talk to the owner and get back with me.The rest of the communication was through text message so all of the following is verifiable.I said that I understand mistakes happen, but when a deal is made, it is the right thing to do to honor it… I stated that if they did not honor the deal, the negative publicity from a bad review could travel fast.I told him that mistakes happen and we are human, but a deal is a deal.I was informed that I had no legal ground for recourse as they had not given me a bill of sale yet. I agreed, but pointed out that I did have the email chain with them agreeing on the price.I then waited another hour or so for the salesperson to get ahold of the owner (who they would not give me the info so I could talk to them personally) who came back and essentially told the employee that he could forfeit his commission to drop the price to $132,500.I informed him that I would only accept the original deal…The salesperson was very nice and I hope he does not get fired over this…. But what kind of dealership commits to a price then changes their mind at the last minute.They may have some good deals, but if ever comes a time to do business with them, remember they have no problem changing their mind and going back on agreed upon prices…According to the numbers I was quoted, they would not have lost any money (or maybe a few hundred dollars at the most)… It would have been an opportunity to get a great review on customer service, but instead they alienated a 100k plus cash buyer over a few hundred dollars.I for one will not bring my business there again.

I just bought a 458 from International Motor Group and it was a great experience from the start. I had been searching for the right version of my dream car and I had missed out on a few of them based on this fast moving market. I would be hot on the trail of one, then it would be gone as soon as I made the move. I saw this car and immediately called and Adam, the owner, called me right back. He was really straight forward and on top of things. He always got right back in touch with me throughout the deal and he was super nice, informative, and easy to deal with. He had other customers wanting the car and, after I purchased it, he told me that they were willing to out bid me quite a bit to get it....he could have made a significant amount more on my car but he honored our deal and treated it in a way that inspired me to write this. I never review anybody but I want potential clients to know how great he and his company are to deal with. He made my experience as good as it could be. I know people that have fallen in love with the car they are purchasing but had a bad enough experience buying it that they never could fully appreciate their dream car. Im lucky that I found this car...at this particular place.
