Awesome place to find just about anything tool related, friendly staff and a clean store.

I called first to see if the compressor I needed was there. They were very helpful in checking and letting me know that they had several. When I walked in the door they remembered my call and went and got the item and brought it to the front for me. Everybody was very helpful.

What can I say, its Harbor Freight. This location in Hayward is closer to me, but if Im not in a hurry, Ill go to the Fremont location. Way better service and friendlier staff. I must add, that their Icon line of tools are the best Import hand tools Ive ever used. Not Snap On level, but very good for the price.

An affordable place to buy handyman tools.

I was driving through the area and remembered there was a tool I needed so I stopped. Bought a lot of tools again. Not all their tools are worth buying, so these days Im very careful as to what I buy from them. Some of the tools I buy from them I make sure that I dont have to use them everyday, for the daily tools I have to buy the larger brands. I did find a great buy that I couldnt pass up.

My go to place for tools...not always the best made but a continuing improvement is very evident...newest tools are becoming top made and backed up...also very good value.

A very extensive array of specialty automotive tools. Im a self employed mechanic and owe some of my success to their availability. A significant change of pace by comparison to the brand name limited big mainstream stores.

Harbor freight sells budget tools. I go here for the small things that I dont use very often, I know they wont last terribly long. The staff is pretty helpful and the store is well organized.

30% off of anything below $10 this is my go-to spot for impact rated sockets adapters and extensions. I spent less than $20 and I came out with extensions socket adapters and some elbows not bad and theyre all Impact rated.

They were out of the one item I needed. I ended up getting a better one at Walmart.I believe I am not going to ever get a chance to buy anything at harbor freight.

Helpful staff, clean, organized store, good deals, as long as you note the range of dates for certain sales and other restrictions.

Lifetime warranty is good.But they wont give you the price of the yellow tags they show.

Store was clean, not crowded. Masks required. Found what I needed pretty easily and was on my way quickly.

Easy to find the store but they were out of a lot of product. 3 of the 5 items I needed were brought from the back of the store. Other than that it was organized & most employees knew where I could find things & found them for me if they didnt. Great deals but my membership number wasnt used for some reason & ended up paying full price for my loot.

Went to get a tool and proceeded to check out. I was pleasantly surprised that the clerk knew of an on-line coupon of 30% off and he applied coupon for me .i didnt even know about coupon but clerk went above and beyond to help me .now i can buy a whole meal for lunch because of amount i saved...in my opinion...its says alot about management and great staff today.

Now this harbor Freight employee was awesome! This guy helped me out with buying the matching top tool box. I highly recommend you shop that is Hayward store they are fantastic employees!

Neat little store. Found just about everything I was looking for to set up my new apartment.

Store was well kept and the employees were efficient and helpful. A lot of drug addicts or homesless out front though which made it seem very unsafe and a very dirty parking lot/plaza

This tool store has great product at affordable prices. Took a while to get some floor assistance, but when I did the sales representative was knowledgeable and very help. Definitely plan on making H.F a goto store.

As is the case with many home improvement and tool stores these days, HF tools employs young kids that dont have much to offer in experience, or social skills. Staff is usually inching on the side of being rude and mostly act as if they are being forced to work this minimal wage job. Honestly the store itself is nice, clean, well organized and the prices are always a good selling point. I usually dont buy anything at HF if I am ever in doubt that I may need to return it. They have very stringent return policies and the same rude staff will make sure you feel insulted and humiliated for bringing something back because it did not work out for you.Then for the price you paid and to simply keep you self esteem, you are better off just tossing the bad decision tool you bought in trash.

I love this place! I can spend all day in this store. Love the merchandise, love the prices!

Good selection for all my tool needs with generic with low prices. Name brands are not pricey either. They still have better prices than HD or L stores. I gps to a Hayward store, its little hidden but SF bay has many convenient locations...Google for one near you.

Harbor Freight was a bit busy today. So busy that management was using early pandemic tactics to keep the customers safe. You had to wait outside before you can come in to shop. As people were leaving others were allowed to enter.

Great prices as always. The stock is low, but I assume that is the new usual in the Covid lifestyle. Also they had a staff shortage, not sure if this is company implemented, or the inability to hire And maintain staff currently. The people that were working were friendly and doing the best that they could.

I love tools!! But tools are EXPENSIVE!! I didnt know about harbor freight until about a year ago (I know right) some tools are flimsy. But this place is great for getting a good price for other items like jack and some power and specialty tools!

Its ok, they really didnt have what I wanted but made it work.The young ladies need training. Dam. I came from the service industry and this would not stand up. Always Always Customer service First! Weather you have the product or not. In any Industry!!

Located in a small strip mall but very effectively Stocked and Managed. Items are easy to find and check out is a Blast.

Picked up a new 17x10 enclosed with a cut out that rolls up as a garage door portable garage and of course walked every isle picking up another 150$ in random tools/tarps/drawer safe. Not bad just over 300$ when all said and done on this trip.

Went in for hand cleaner, it was all gone. Looks like the trucks just arent coming fast enough to restock the store. Got a nice blade for my table saw though.

Hard to find any help or assistant to find correct item..they donr offer any more coupons...come and bring money to pay full price...off course majority of items are sustandards,made in China..Taiwan.etc..

I recently to this as I had spare to kill waiting for table at near by restaurant. To my surprise they had some pretty good tools at very affordable prices.I work in a mechanical shop for past over 20 years and bought many Snap On and some Mac but Ill tell you. Harbor Freight really is upping there game with quality tools.Staffs here are excellent and assist as they can. Just dont ask technical and detail questions about the tool cause they wont know. Its why they are in store not in shop or field.Recommend this store all day long!!
