Great place to get an eye exam and lenses all in one stop. The staff here are great at helping to pick out frames and giving honest opinions. If new frames ever need to be adjusted or anything they are super helpful. Mel helped me today and was so patient. Angie has helped me pick out frames for the past 5 years though and she is always awesome! Love my new frames!

This is my 1st visit to LC and I was blown away from the warmth and friendliness of the welcome staff to the in depth and funny Dr. Frye and lastly the patience and thoroughness of the eyeglass associate, Angie. Everyone, truly everyone made the experience worth raving about. Then I come back the following day because I changed my mind on the frame I chose, Shelle took care of exchanging it w my insurance with a smile! Outstanding customer service all around.

Angie always takes care of me and does a spectacular job. This location has been doing my glasses for years and they are always professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was recently out of town and went to a different company and came running back to LensCrafters after a bad experience. I am thankful for their help and timeliness as I had a major prescription change. They were very understanding and did their best to get me a fantastic pair of glasses that I am very impressed with. Their frame selection is awesome. The lenses are so thin and polished for my prescription (a -8.25 😬) and they look fantastic. LensCrafters always gives me great quality frames and lenses.

I have never had such a pleasing experience when being fitted and purchasing eye glasses. The staff was happy to be there. So many are cutting back on customer service but not this LensCrafters. They were so engaging and helpful. Service with a smile is not over-rated... Its soooo appreciated! Thank you!!

I purchased glasses in April 2021. Unfortunately, they were a little too narrow for my face. I had perfectly cute glasses, but they weren’t comfortable to wear. After coming back to LensCrafters to get them adjusted, the assistant manager, Mel, patiently worked with me to find a solution to my problem. Turns outs I paid for the protection plan and after paying the $50 deductible, I got a brand new pair of glasses that fit me face and are even cuter than my original glasses.

I cant say enough about Kayla and the team at Lenscrafters. We are very new to the Medicare scene and didnt know what we were doing. She figured everything out for our benefits, spent a lot of time helping us pick out frames, and got everything organized and put in a folder. The glasses came in less that a week, and fit perfectly. I can see again and everyone on the streets of Hendersonville is a little safe today. I can recommend them without reservation!

Started wearing lens crafters since 2018 their glasses feel pretty good.

The wife and I both were seen by their docs. The visit and exam was one of the best we have ever had. The staff were all very professional and explained every detail of the exam thoroughly. From the receptionist all the way down to check out all were very polite and made the visit a pleasurable one.

The staff is polite and friendly, much like the others say. But it has been aggravating working with them. I dont know how much is the fault of the locals vs. the national company. I took my prescription and two sets of glass frames, and ordered new lenses for two pairs of reading glasses on 7/13. They called me 8/13, and tried to give me two pair of DISTANCE glasses in frames I had never seen before. [???] They apologized and placed my order again. Early September, I called them and they said there were delays. Two weeks later I dropped by, and they gave me the same line - there were delays. In early October I called and got no word. Notice - I was having to contact them, they had simply dropped me. They did not reach at to me from mid-August to October. So again I went to the store. They apologized, refunded my money but did not take back the insurance claim, and said my glasses would be free. Today, Oct. 29, they said my glasses were ready! I drove there right away, but they had only one pair ready. They acted surprised that I had ordered not one but two. So they ran around looking for them and said they hoped the second pair would be there in a few days...Bottom line: After ordering lenses for two IDENTICAL pairs of glasses, and after I having to call them repeatedly, in more than 3 months - they delivered two completely wrong pair, then months later only one pair and one is still on hold. Their confusion of their own orders still abounds.

Great experience! I went in today and Jolene helped take care of me and was Amazing! I truly appreciate the wonderful customer service and how kind she was when helping me in the store. Always have a problem when I come here. The staff is friendly and I want to make that clear up front but. . . Waited a month for glasses only to find out they sent in the wrong frames. Now I’m being told I have to wait another month! I need these glasses for work. I Can’t get in touch with a real human being on the customer service line. Every time I go there seems Systems are down. Wait times are long already for glasses so hopefully they just don’t mess up 🤷🏻‍♀️. Just make sure if you go here you triple check your getting the right frames/ prescriptions. When I got contacts here it was a disaster I kept telling them that having only one lens was throwing off my vision and instead of helping me they told me it was all in my head. “Psychosomatic” to be precise on the terminology they used. Just be cautious if you go here.

Best eye appointment I’ve ever had! Staff personable, up to date technology, quick and painless. During COVID there are less frames available & wait time to receive glasses might be longer than usual but that is no fault of the establishment. I recommend this place.

Busy place. I went to have an eye exam for myself and my son. The place was very clean, open and modern. I did end up waiting a while before I got seen, even though I had an appointment.The doctor and staff were really great though. I truly enjoyed my appointment with them. They all were very informative and educational. I will definitely be going back!

The retail store was fine and the employees there did a good job, but the optometrist store was not so good. They had me scheduled for Sunday 8/16 and when I showed up they were closed and didnt let me know ahead of time-wasting at least an hour of my time and I had to reschedule. Not happy and left a bad Facebook review. I also don’t appreciate them telling me that I must wear certain items to do business with them- this infringes on my personal ride so I thought I had in America.

Great experience in every way! Finally I found someone who took time to find the right glasses and lenses I needed and made sure they fit correctly when I picked them up. The only negative was while everyone was very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful they seemed a little under-staffed for the volume of customers I saw each time I was there. Still it was well worth the wait. Thanks to everyone!

Dr Johnson explained everything and was able to give me a pair of contacts on the spot (my previous eye doctor didn’t do that). My contacts were slow to come so they had given me another pair of contacts til the ones that I ordered come in. Every one was very nice to me and was very professional.

Mr. Bishop who did my exam displayed exemplary professionalism as well as Kayla my sales rep who made the mundane task of choosing frames and lens options a fun experience. Something that tends to be out of the ordinary instead of the norm these days.

They messed up my bifocals ...the lenses were crooked and too high and when I went to take them back the red headed lady at the desj wants to get smart... I will be calling my insurance company today. Also asked if I wanted to wear them until the other new pair comes in... Why would I want to wear glasses that I cant see out of

I ordered my first pair of glasses and was told it would take 2 weeks to get them. Seriously, 2 weeks?!? Its 2019 folks, Amazon can send orders same day for junk people dont really need, but I have to wait 2 weeks for glasses that I really need, for something as important as, BEING ABLE TO SEE!

My dog chewed up my glasses last night. I came to LensCrafters because I knew I could get a replacement the same day. I then found out that they pulled out all of their labs from Tennessee. I was so distraught. But the ladies at this location pulled together to help me out. Yes, it did cost me a little more but they were able to get me my glasses today. People are so quick to complain about bad experienses.. and there are so few to compliment the good ones. Ive dealt with LensCrafters for years now! Theyve never let me down! The two ladies that helped me today were excellent! Thank you! I will definitely recommend yall to my friends and family. By the way Dr Johnson and his staff were awesome too!

Today I stopped in Lenscrafters to update my glasses prescription. I was weary of getting upsold on lenses and frames, but I worked with Josh and he was courteous, friendly, and super easy to work with. He catered to my needs and made me feel like I was getting the best options for me, and I was out in about 15 minutes. Overall a great experience!

Had a very pleasant experience, despite some of the negative feedback. Just had my first visit. Dr. Frye was very informative. I’ve worn glasses for 18 years and this it the first place to properly fit me for contacts. Received both contacts and glasses quickly. I will be returning!

I bought eye glasses and sunglasses at Hendersonville Lenscrafters. I was shocked to find the cost at $636.96, but being a former satisfied customer, I paid for the glasses on 2/15/20. I did receive my eye glasses timely and they are fone, however when my sunglasses came in, and no one notified me they were in, something was wrong with them and they had to be returned. I asked to please expedite and was assured they would. A week later, still no sunglasses. O was basically told they were within their 10 biz day quote and she would check with the lab. This is not the quality of service I remember from Lenscrafters and I will never use them again. What a RIP off and the very poorest level of customer service. I will tell everyone I know dont go there.

I truly think all of these people with their 1* reviews are full of it. I have never had a poor interaction in here. I swear the only people who leave reviews are snobby, impatient people. All of the employees here have their own quirks, as human beings all do. They have all been kind to me, you just have to be understanding as a person. The optometrist guy was super funny and talkative. Very informative. The front desk girl even at the Johnson eye care went above and beyond to make our experience effortless. Thanks guys.

I REALLY dont like how they switched up the lab model. It used to be that every store had a lab, but now there is just one lab and every order has to be fulfilled there. But the problem with that is that a LOT of orders that are just lost in the system. Its sloppy. Im not going to try and point fingers either, but Im fairly sure this was a move to increase profit and ultimately did but decreased customer satisfaction. So its not the store, but the company as a whole.

I went to another eye doc in Hendersonville last year and wasnt happy at all with the service so I tried Lens Crafters because i was after Oakley frames. Lens Crafters took very good care of my needs and the sales people definitely know what they are doing. My glasses were supposed to take a week but they arrived in 3 days. I will definitely return for my future glasses.

They have quality glasses, but if you want to get good glasses for a better price (and a shorter line), go to Pearle Vision around the corner. We waited 40min both times were were there, and their selection is no better than Pearle.

Great customer service. Had called 3 weeks straight for glasses i ordered and every time they said two days and they will be there. Still waiting blind as a bat.

Eye exam was fine. Then I get glasses. No one from there informed me of the out of network. Tye Manager Joshua Davinport took my glasses order and totally rushed through EVERYTHING didnt talk about my options going through. On my reciept the insurance coverage wasonly a third of what it should have been and I paid almost 300.00 for what should have been closer to 175. Then when I called to cancel my order the lady told me to call a number. Which led told me to go to a wevsite (which I cannot figure out what website from the recording). Terrible service! I wouldnt send anyone here! They just want your money. Now I have to wait for a day or more to get my glasses ordered from an in network company AND i have to wait who knows how long just to get my money I have spent since they wont put the money back on my card. I have to show up in person instead of them just refunding since nothing went through.

This doesnt deserve a 1 star took my wife to get her eye exam and new glasses and they refused to take he we provided them a NEW vision insurance and NEW number for them to call on the day of. When we got there they said they called and said she was not added which i know she is on the vision, the Hispanic lady got smart with my wife so we left. It turns out they were calling a old number. The number we provided was never called to verify.. That lady needs to read a file correctly before touching anything especially someones eyes. Walmart does a better job..

Very disappointed with Lenscrafters... Ever since they moved from Goodlettsville this company have raised their prices, They no longer offer offbrand more cost efficient frames only name brand. The only reason I gave them 2 stars because Angie is so wonderful.

Experience of picking out the frames and especially talking to the ophthalmologist who was the manager over a manager who happened to be in that store that day who gave me great advice is to what specific type of lenses I needed for the problems that I had had before with glasses was fabulous. I was told the glasses Would-be in by Friday, to day. I called to see if they were in Yet. And I spoke to a very rude girl who was bothered by me calling to find out if they were in yet when she found I hadnt received a call or a text. I told her they were supposed to be in by to day. She went to check to see and told me well it could-be a few more days. I told her that was On acceptable to be told that they Would-be in by a certain time and then be told by somebody that well it could-be a few more days. Especially considering how much they cost. It was a real snit and does not need to be in customer-service .

This Johnson i-Care is the WORST optometry provider I have ever been to & Ive had glasses since I was 6. Do NOT waste your time- because they WILL waste yours. The first day I walked in & had my consultation, they told me it would be one price & then it ended up being much more expensive! Not only that, but the optometrist was being quite snobby/unfriendly. I ended up not buying anything that day because the prices were much higher than expected, even with my insurance. I just called (1yr 6 mo later) to get my prescription so I could buy a much more cost-efficient pair of glasses (only SIX dollars compared to the hundreds you have to spend at that store.) I called at 10 am after they had already opened at 9 am - went straight to voicemail. Had a friend call later on for me while I was working; they said they would send over the prescription through email (after INSISTING he come in person?). Hours later it is still not in my inbox. I call on my break to see if the email address was incorrect - it was (with letters that do not even sound alike - I am suspicious) & they say they will send it now. Hours later it is still not in my inbox. My friend calls again - they say they will send it again to TWO different emails so at least one of the addresses will receive it. They send the email alright - WITHOUT the RECORD - reminding me that by law an expired prescription cannot be used. EITHER WAY by law I have the right to a free-of-charge copy of ALL of my medical records (HIPAA Law.) My friend calls again - they say Hold on, and leave him on hold for half an hour. While still on hold, he drives over there to see that three employees are not doing a thing. They say they mistakenly thought they transferred the call? Hm. They print off the prescription FINALLY in under a minute. I call later to complain & TK Johnson (manager) says she will send an email with the history of the emails that were sent & that there was no dishonesty involved. I can see that is completely a made-up forwarded email with the attachment. There are other misconsistencies but you get the point. Go somewhere else where they actually care about your i-care and not come off as the epitome of GREED.

The people who work here are wonderful, however, its always a very long wait every time I come in.

This is the WORST Lenscrafters store I have ever experienced. I will NEVER use this store or possibly even Lenscrafters again. Everyone from the staff the manager had no idea what they were talking about and were rude and extremely unhelpful. I have purchased at least three (3) pairs of sunglasses and probably an equal amount of regular glasses (albeit at a different location, except for the last pair of glasses I purchased) from Lenscrafters. My customer loyalty was appreciated, except at this store. I called and asked for a quote on simple lenses (frames were purchased elsewhere), the store manager, Josh quoted me $298 - for STANDARD lenses and would not be bothered to contact my insurance company to see if I had any available benefits that could be used. However, when I contacted my optometrists office for a quote on the same lenses they quoted me $99 (without any insurance benefits). This location needs a staff overhaul. I would NOT RECOMMEND them.
