We searched for Hawaiian shave ice and found Pelicans. It was very close to the island shave ice we craved. Soft and fluffy. Delicious.

I took two of my grand-daughters there for snowballs & all three of us enjoyed it. Nice people running the place too.

Fast and good service. Too much syrup for me but I like this location the best! I can always get in and out very fast!

Pelicans Snowballs is an amazing place to go get a treat with family and friends! They have so many unique flavors and combinations to try. It takes very little time to make and tastes very good.

Dozens of flavors for their shaved ice, and the ice is soft and melts quickly...deeeelicious! They are not course like the ground ice in snow cones. And they offer ice cream, also.

Best place around! Affordable, HUGE selection of flavors, I think over 100! Always clean and the staff is super friendly and nice. They go above and beyond to make their customers happy. If you havent tried it you definitely need to. Its nothing like you expect. The ice is so soft and fluffy not crunchy like most shaved iced places.

If you cant eat ice cream or have sugar this a great treat. They have several options.

This place is awesome! They have so many flavors and even some secret ones that aren’t on the regular menu. The staff is always so friendly and they make you feel right at home. The owner is nice and friendly and is always taking time to talk to everyone. I’ve been to a lot of different Pelican’s but this one is the best hands down.

This place is awesome!! The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful. The SnoBalls are delicious, not to mention they have a whole extra menu in addition to the normal 100 flavors! They always give you so much flavor. It’s good from beginning to end. The place is decorated so cute and is always clean. We love meeting friends there and just sitting in the rockers or playing corn hole. You can’t go wrong with any flavor but my favorite is the Vanilla Snocream.

Super disappointed. We always go to the one on sweeten creek and love it there. Since we were already in hendersonville we stopped by this location instead. We bought 5 and ALL of them only had flavor added to the top half only. The entire bottom half of ALL of our cups was literally JUST ICE. Its a great deal when they do it right. Kind of a rip off for a cup of flavorless ice though. We wont be going back to this location.**edited to respond to pelicans owner whose response to my post was:We are sorry you were disappointed but we have a counting system and there’s always flavor added to the bottom half of ALL our SnoBalls. We are always happy to add syrup if there’s not enough.-Are you implying that I am a liar?? Because we literally bought 5 and they were ALL the same- plain ice on the bottom half without ANY color or flavor!! We were unable to stay, so we got them and drove away- of course Believing we had gotten what we Paid for. Maybe some staff need retrained. Reading your response, obviously you take no accountability for our bad experience and customer service takes no priority to you-TERRIBLE!! In a small town such as Hendersonville, word-of-mouth is almost essential for success. We will not be back.

My grand kids told me about this place. I was impressed with the large variety of flavors. We will definitely be going again!

One of our favorites!! Service is always great and the grounds are always clean. There is a nice outdoor seating area with cornhole and sidewalk chalk, for the kids. We always get the Pelican Coins, $20 for 25.

I mean can you honestly go wrong with the snow cone snow cones are fantastic and really if you get a kitty size its really enough for even an adult Thats typical of me and my daughter get we go there quite often and only spent about 5 or $6 for the two of us so really if you just want a quick little something such as a tree or reward for your child I really think its a good spot to go they have a nice little rocking chairs for the children and taller seats for adults and all the staff always seems to be very polite and nice

Great place to go for a tasty dessert. My only complaint is that the entrance for vehicles has a HUGE bump which will make your car drag unless you have a truck or a very high riding vehicle.

Not enough flavor on the ice and its a shame there are no restrooms. I am comparing to Greeneville TN where I was amazed. I know they are working with an existing building but think of your customers pertaining to the bathroom situation. We will return but would like to see a couple changes.

Your not to old for this taste.it seems likes a kid place but this is a awesome snow cone . Unricorn was what the 5 year old had I got a peach . surprisingly good.

I love bringing my grandkids here. The staff is so nice and friendly. The owner is always there and makes it a point to talk to both grandkids. They have so many flavors it’s so hard to choose. I didn’t get one my first visit because I was thinking it was just like a regular snow cone. I tried a bite of my granddaughter’s and it was unlike anything I’ve ever had. I’m hooked. I even go without my grandkids! There is flavor from the top to the bottom and the last bite is just as good as the first. If you think it’s just an icee you need to go try it you will be surprised. It’s so refreshing and unlike regular icees or snow cones.

Wish I could give this place a ten stars. Ive tried two other Pelican places and this one is nothing like them.
