What a nice experience at the Fletcher location today! This is why I always return to this store when I need shoes! I found several pair of shoes I really liked and could use today. However, I had only planned to get one pair. I had left a coupon in my car and mentioned this. The kind young woman (Wish I knew her name!) at the register said not to worry about it, and she looked up my membership info. She then gave me a discount on each pair of shoes, making the total much less than expected! I thought this was was so kind and just wanted to share this! Thank you!

GB Shoes has a wide variety of quality, brand-name footwear as well as handbags, jackets, shirts and other accessories. Getting the members discount card is certainly worthwhile because it offers discounted prices on most of their merchandise. I recently got the cutest pair of boots that were $150 marked down to $30 with the discount card!

Having a great selection is of little value when not paired with excellent customer service. I have tried to shop here a few times because they do have a wonderful selection and a clean store. Each time though the experience leaves me feeling as if my business is seen as having little value to the staff. Yesterday evening was no exception. We walked in 4 minutes before closing, the doors were still open and frankly I didnt notice that they closed at 7 pm on Saturday evening. We were met by a very nice lady that told us we would have to leave because they were about to close and are winding things down for the.day, but please come back tomorrow. How very nice it was to be invited back to spend what will amount to at least $250.00 on shoes when its convienent for the staff. No thank you I get better service at your competition or even online then I have experienced in your store. I wont bother you again.

Their prices are a little steep but if you look you can find some good deals. I got some vans for my son on sale there and he loves them.

Found the pair of Hokas on the Hoka website for $100. They were $150 here and no price matching. Huh? Cheaper from the manufacturer website, but it was good to be able to try them on.Found a casual pair we liked too and they were double the price when I did a quick Google search. What’s wild is I found them half price online from Houser shoes which I believe is this store’s parent company.The store is big, bright, and clean and the staff friendly but the prices are sky high. Nothing discount about them.

Its a great place to go shopping for shoes and boots. They have a large quantity to choose from. The employees are nice and very helpful. About the only problem is that because they are so busy sometimes its difficult to find your shoe size or boot size.

Went to get a water proof, wide with shoe in the Merrell, ect brands, my Daughter is a dog groomer. She has to have surgery because of wearing what we thought were good shoes Nike, ect., we were in the store for about 10/15 minutes before a salesperson asked if they could help. She was friendly and helpful. But out of that whole store the were only 2 they care with what she was looking for, and we left without getting anything for her.

Went there today to purchase a pair of Birkenstocks. Was trying on a few styles when a woman, with 2 teenagers, walked right in front of us with her mask down around her chin!!! We are seniors and she actually stepped right in front of us, within 2 feet, talking to the girls. No regard for us, mask wearing customers. Put our shoe boxes back, went to the desk and told the workers about the non-wearing mask woman. Told him he just lost a sale, due to non-complacement woman. We walked out!!! Nothing was said to us. There is a sign at the entrance: MUST WEAR MASKS.

Selection looked great. Prices are too high on most items. Clearance prices are even too high. They did have some really nice shoes if price is no issue for you. I did find some Keens for my daughter that were more reasonably priced but I really had to look hard to find them. You should check the store out for yourself if you are in the area.

Noone in the whole store approached me to ask if I needed help. they all stood around in a group talking to one another. They were not considering to acknowledge a customer but what they thought was important, themselves

I brought in a shoe voucher from work for womens steel toed shoes. They had several choices (maybe 6) and found a good pair in my size. Then I took advantage of the 2nd pair 1/2 off deal and got a nice pair of Nike for $30. #winning!

What a great store to browse in. I found a white, fleece Columbia vest I didnt know I desired for a wonderful price, since its summer. I tried on lots of shoes before settling on the ones that look and feel best for my purposes, and I found a great purse that will serve me well. I highly recommend this store as a place to find a few treasures.

The store has a great selection of different brands and styles. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. This made it much easier to find a shoe that was comfortable for me. They also have alot of great discounted shoes on the back wall. I felt like that I got a really good shoe for a fair price. As a customer thats a good feeling to have when you leave a store.

My family has bought shoes at this discount store for at least 7 years. They are high quality name brand shoes. Im glad we have such a convenient store in Hendersonville NC to shop at for shoes I would otherwise have to drive far to get.

My husband loved this place. Me not so much. I love, love, love shoes and walked out without buying a single pair. My husband bought three pairs. The selection for mens shoes was pretty awesome although a little more pricey then I was expecting from a shoe warehouse. To me, the womens selection was great if youre looking for sensible shoes. If you are looking for heels or fashionable shoes, this is not the place.

Great for womens and mens dress shoes. All kids shoes are together on two rows and you just figure out if its boys/girls. I felt like it was a great selection for adults, but not necessarily kids. If you sign up for their discount card, it really is worth it. I bought 4 pairs of womens dress shoes for $150 and saved $128.36 using the discount card.

Large shoe and boot discount superstore not far south of Asheville. Merrell shoes and hiking boots one of their features. We found both womens and mens shoes and boots to our liking, with the small brands deeply discounted and the national brands somewhat discounted - as with most stores like this. We were satisfied with our experience.

Wow! Stopped to browse. Bought a pair of KEEN closed toe sandals for $19.99... they were $79.99... one pair and they were my size!

Really have to watch the sales and discounts. The back wall may not be as good a sale since the discount is taken of the original price, not the discounted GB Shoes price. The shoes on the floor end up being just a little more and give you a greater selection. Also, will not give you the military discount on something that is already discounted. You need to know what you are looking for and do your own research since the people working there are only sales people. Dont expect to get real advise on running shoes, etc. Sometimes I wonder if the shoes they sell are seconds, since the last two pairs of running shoes I bought didnt last as long as expected.

I purchased shoes today and had a great experience. I was greeted when coming in the door and was allowed to shop but with someone every so often asking if I needed and help. The check out person was really nice and friendly and I will go back for any shoes that I need in the future. They had everything I could want in shoes without having to go from store to store.

I was just in this store, I am sitting in the parking lot writing this review. I asked one of their salespeople about price matching Amazon and he said he couldnt, which I understand. No big deal. He did offer 20percent off which was nice. I then pointed out that their (GB Shoes) sign stated that the pair of Merrells I was looking at were waterproof. They are water shoes not at all waterproof. I said that your foot would get soaked if you stepped in water. He then stated that waterproof meant that water would not damage the material. Dont insult my intelligence by making up a dumb answer to something that is wrong. To fix the sign would take all of two minutes. I guess lying and laziness are part of the culture at this store.

Great selection and helpful staff ***** addendum I have frequented this business for many years and have spent thousands on shoes.. I have had several negative encounters with the manager on previous visits. Today was the last straw. I asked the manager if he could find information about a shoe I bought there previously. He hemmed and hawed so I went to the look at the shoes to see if I could figure out what I bought previously. He then yelled my shoe information across the store. I found those shoes and then looked for shoes for my husband. They didnt have his size so I brought a box of the type of shoe up to see if they could order it. The sample shoe on display was not what I wanted and I did not realize I brought the wrong shoe box up to the counter. The manager and worker bee pummeled me with questions and belittled that I brought the wrong shoe up to counter. Overall, a very unpleasant experiance and I will not be returning

What an unexpectedly huge selection of brands! This place has attractive prices but is not exactly what Id consider a discount store. Its not in a shopping district but rather on a major through fare. Get the Preferred Customer loyalty discount card. Keep in mind that they have way more than shoes (other apparel too including Kavu) and dont forget to check the back wall for The Best of the Rest clearance priced items.
