Terrible experience. I went to sell my car with an appointment and online offer and waited an hour and they still hadn’t even been given a final offer. I asked the manager and they said that I’ll have to wait and they don’t care how long. The manager and sales representative were extremely rude and even yelled at me to leave because I said I was going somewhere else. I have never been treated this way and from the manager to the sales representative everyone was beyond rude and disrespectful.Do NOT go here. Auto buy down the street is MUCH more welcoming and will offer you more money.

Very disappointed in CarMax! They were super disorganized. No one knows whats going on, how to help you or what direction to point you in. Spanish is their first language and English is the second. The moment you come in asking for help speaking English, they look at you like what are doing here. I was very uncomfortable and decided not to continue buying a car from car max. I instead purchased a car from the Mercedes dealer. They were more deserving of my business and those I will refer who are all successful business owners. I rated 1 star but if there was a negative star to choose from, I wouldve chose that. Never again.

Decided to check this place out for the first time and was very impressed at how quickly everything was handled.... Took my grandson to get a car! When he got it home he didnt like it! They have a 30 day /1500 mile return policy! So he brought it back the next day and within hours had another car! Wow! So we went a few days later to sell them a car and they bought it with no hassle and at a decent price!

They have a huge variety of cars here all makes, to me is better I wasnt sure what to buy. 😍

Really bad and unprofessional services, some guy says one thing and other says other thing. Basically they don’t know anything, they leave the paper work all over the places and forget them I had to 2 times and spent like 3-4 hours each time. If you can go yo other CarMax to try I will recommend.

After waiting for over 4 hours to sell my car, at the service office they didnt want to finish the process because they didnt want to use my old Florida ID, I show my residency and other documents that showed my face and name and not even like that they wanted to finish the process wish it doesnt even make sense. Took my 2016 Gmc with 32600 mikes to get an Offer to sell .i was told 40 minutes and sat in the waiting room. My offer came in at 30 minutes and came in at 19000. The associate, Basically told me, how much I was expecting and I said blue book has the vehicle at 23000 to 25000. No interaction, whatsoever. Take it or leave it attitude. I have being doing business with CarMax at that location and sold and bought vehicles there. I will never returnI left the store and went to auto buy and met Erick and what a difference . Offer 20,500.Please do your homework, before you let your vehicle go.

By the time I was done signing all the papers eduardo had already got the car washed, filled with fuel, and even screwed on my license plate for me. They are extremely careless about their customers. I sold my car to them 2 months ago and my lien holder never recieved the payment. All they would tell me if I called was just wait a little longer. After I researched what was going on, I realized that they sent the payment of 18k to the wrong POBOX of a different lien holder!!!! Now Im 90 days past due and in risk of reposession and this has impacted my credit extremely negatively. I called them and told them how badly they messed up and they didint even say sorry. Mazda financial services now has hit my credit with 90 days past due and its ALL CARMAX FAULT and i cant erase that from my credit!!!! They gave me the worst service ever!!!! They messed up my credit and now theres nothing I can do about it!!! Avoid the Miami lakes office. They dont care about anyone.

I had an excellent experience with the help of getting approved and getting the vehicle of my choice transferred to a location closer to me. At that location, I could check out and test drive the vehicle to make sure it was right for me. Also, the agent that helped me doubled checked all information and made needed corrections. He was very helpful in explaining everything, including all available options. He even helped take excellent pictures of us with the car. This is the second time making a purchase with Carmax and will be my #1 auto dealer.

So I went to car max off of I believe 67 Ave in Miami with a coworker. So we walked in and my friend told the front desk what she wanted. They told us take a look around. We she saw what she wanted we came back in and the guy at the front desk sat us with Daniel Nunez. From beginning to end he had no life in him. Meaning he acted like he didnt want to sell a car, he was tired or he was ready to call it a day. He got all this info from my friend. Social, job, gave her a monthly amount, had her to call her insurance company she wanted to trade her car they ran their test offered her $1500. Than he ask does her car run. Uumm thats how we got here. He never took us out to crank the vehicle. She never drove it around the block. We dont know if it drives. We dont know if the AC works nothing. So after we couldnt get in contact with the insurance company (it was after 6:30) We didnt like his Ora. No spunk. Now since we couldnt take the car now the $1500 they gave her for the trade is not valid until they drive it. Which was never said until he found it we couldnt get the vehicle than. Than his next question was cash, credit or debit? Uuummm are you serious? Even though you dont haggle customers at least show some type of interest. At least let us test drive it. Smh

I wanted to purchase a car from them I did all the steps to get the car I wanted transfer down to the Doral location because the car was location 500 miles away. So set up a transfer and they said once the car get to the location they will call and email me to notify me when its ready for me. Waited a few days I called them they said the car is being serviced and they will call me a few day pass by I called again and they told me they sold the car to someone else without even telling me so I wasted my time getting the car transferred and waited for no reason big disappointment.

Quick and fast when it came to purchasing my 2017 Sonata. Whoever did the inspection on the vehicle needs to do a better job because I had to have all 4 of my tires replaced. Replacing the tires was at no cost to me (thankfully). But I had to wait for 2 weeks for the tires to be replaced because of the holidays, and then it took over 8 WITH an appointment to get my car back to me. CarMax did provide me with transportation from CarMax back to my house and from my house to the dealership by Lyft. Overall experience was good except the waiting part. Will be purchasing another vehicle from them when needed.

I came here to sell my 2018 Honda civic. They did my appraisal in less than 30 min. It was lower than the trade in value but was decent enough to sell my vehicle to them. Came in the next day and that process took less than 1 hour. They wrote me a check for the amount and I was on my way. No hassle no changing numbers, they didnt try to sell me on another vehicle which i was not intrested in. So in all id say if you want a stress free way to sell or buy a car this place is good. The bad part i feel like the cars are overpriced. But their trade in offers are usually better than any dealer from my past experience.

Easy appraisal and great customer service. I went in to sell a 2016 Jeep Compass in great condition before moving overseas. I was worried that I would have to take the CarMax offer and then shop around to the many different buyers in the area that were interested in it, to get the best deal. But I was shocked when they came back with an offer that was almost the maximum Kelley Blue Book value. I didnt have a paper title (only an e-title), but they were able to complete all the paper work and cut me a check on the spot. I had no idea selling a car could be so easy! And every associate I interacted with was polite and professional. They were also following all social distancing and sanitization guidelines, so waiting in the office for around 1 hour felt very safe. Id highly recommend going to CarMax first if youre selling a car.

They are good with the selling process but when it comes to service & repair, its not as good. They tried to fix something on my car recently and made a mess!!! It looks horrible. I am disappointed because now I have to take it elsewhere to have that fixed. I have bought several vehicles from this place and everything is fine until it comes to the service & repair.

The representative that helped me was named Sheila.She was very honest from the beginning about the car, what to expect, and walked me through the entire process without any hassle.The entire experience was quick and easy. When I asked her how long it would take, she was very clear: Shouldnt take more than an hour and half, maybe less. But the reason it takes longer than that is usually because of the buyer.Very honest, which I appreciated!
