I used to come to this bakery when I was in high school (1998) for lunch. I had to see if everything was still the same! I ate a Cuban Sandwich and it was good! Only problem, I dont speak Spanish, so it was hard to communicate! 🤪

The most rude, unprofessional, and laziest people work in this bakery! I called last week to place an order for a party on Sunday. I called Saturday more than five times to confirm my order for the next day. I was placed and hung up in numerous times. One of the times I called I begged the lady not to place me on hold because I was tired of holding and she said, “yeah,yeah” and instead placed the phone down while I heard her help other customers and then placed me on an actual hold and then hung up on me! Do you think they even called me back? Nah, that would’ve been too professional for those low lives. What kind of business are they running there? Do you want business or not?! At this point steam was coming out of my ears because now I have no confirmation for the food for my party the next day and had to go elsewhere. Things do happen for a reason cause first I should just stuck to the best bakery ever, which is the bakery on 183rd street, called 183rd St Bakery. Very nice there and more reasonably priced, plus they are professional and more attentive to their customers need.

I really enjoy the food it’s delicious but sadly the customer service isn’t good at all, which is very important when running a business. The owners need to be training their employers on customer service, they ignore every phone call and hang up on people when they feel like it. It’s really disappointing. Please hire people who actually feel like doing their job.

Beautiful birthday cake and at a great price!!!! I was afraid of buying design cake at a bakery but it turn out great. My daughter loved it!!!!!!

Service is slow. I bought several ham croquetas. They are HORRIBLE. They should change the name to potato croquetas. No ham or ham flavor. Tasted very starchy like potatoes. Next time I want amazing Ham croquetas all drive to The Bakery at 186th. The cheese croquetas were however really good and the sugar señorita was also good . The guava and cheese tequeño was all breading. Barely any cheese and too much guava. You take a bite and have guava excessively spilling all over the place.

You can never go wrong with Vicky bakery! The pumpkin y queso pastelitos are life, right now!

Quality has gone down since when I use to come here years ago. The croquettes are not good at all and the timeliness especially on the weekends is bad. Expect to wait an hour on Sunday.

I would come here almost daily- I work around the corner. The ladies here are the most rude, bitter servers I have ever had to deal with. They do not even lift their eyes when you are talking to them. They do not answer the phone- they get mad when you ask them questions. If you have the time, I recommend traveling 2 miles further and going to the other Vicky Bakery nearby.

I was so excited to try their vegan Cafe con Leche, but they didnt have Almond Milk. The pastries were covered in flies, and did not look fresh, and the fresh orange juice, was pre-made at an earlier time, so it didnt taste fresh either 😢 The worse part was the cashier didnt really care, and she didnt have the best attitude, she dismissed all my feedback by saying they were about to close anyway. The lady that prepared our croquetas was very nice and attentive.

Prompt, friendly service. Sandwiches are good, but pastels y posters steal the show. They have batidos, too.

I called ahead to order one of their party specials for 15 people and was told that it would not be READY by tomorrow at 8:30 am, BUT the special for 25 people would be. (I found it odd, but it was such an insignificant price difference, I said ok). After I was asked by what time did I need this to be ready, she stated that payment would be required upfront. No problem. I gave her my card and she processed the payment. She asked cake color pink or blue and I proceeded to tell her that I needed this to be written on the cake when she stopped me to tell me that I had to tell them upon picking it up tomorrow. Out of concern for the wait time I was anticipating since this place is always jam packed and they also take long to serve customers, I asked her if I needed to make the line and was told no as it was only to pick up an order. Okay, great. Well, today I arrive and went to stand on the side to pick up my order. I was there at least a good 3-4 minutes and nobody said anything to me, so I told one of the girls that I was there to pick up an order. She said it was the other side, so I went to the other side. Again, nobody said anything so I told the girl closest to me area that I needed to get an order and she RUDELY told me that When one of us is free, then we will help you. Confused, I ask how is that when all of you are handling the walk-ins and their orders to which she replied, one of us will. After 1-2 minutes, one of them said I will help you. What is the name? She found my order and I told her what I needed written on the cake. She took the paper and left. After waiting and waiting, she appears with the 3 trays for my order and proceeds to start wrapping them. i said to her I needed this order ready by 830 and it is now almost 9 am, why was it not ready? She replied Order are prepped upon arrival. I was so upset to encounter this as I had never experienced this despite placing hundreds of order at other bakeries for the past 2 plus decades! Needless to say, I told her what was the point of asking for the time I needed it by only to wait a while there while they prepped my order... I was there for about 25 minutes when I could have easily walked in and out as I have always done everywhere else. I will never place another order with this company again. As a business owner myself, the customer service was horrible and the wait time to pick-up an order was ridiculous! Never again! (You get what you pay for too)

Worst place there is when it comes to order. Rarely do they pick up the phone. When they do they put you on hold for about 10 mins or more.. it is not like they are busy.. When you walk in there to pick up they have more workers than customers. Thats when you realize they dont care about your business

Anyone who has come to this location knows it can be pretty busy and that means having to wait. It’s been some time since I’ve been here and to my surprise, the process to be served was very smooth. Taking covid precautions, a number was given outside to assure everyone would be taken care of. The team was very effective keeping the line moving. Very pleased to see them take organized care for everyone’s safety.

Food is good but service is horrible. They take super long to tend to the customers. They take phone orders and skip the physical customers a lot. No one says one second we will be right with you. Girls are too into doing there own thing. They need more hospitality training definitely.

Too long of a wait. And only four customers were there at that time. Other than that, everything looked fresh. What I got was real good.

Been going here for years and years and noticed the quality keeps decreasing. The tostada was horrible. How do you ruin a tostada? No butter: not toasted and not cut in half..just a chunk of bread wrapped individually. Cafe con leche was like water. So disappointed in what has come of this establishment. I am sure the Cao family would be very unhappy as well. Please step it up.

This Vicky bakery has had such poor service lately. Staff is so rude, lazy & unhelpful and on top of it they are always messing up the order. Today is the second time i take my grandmother there and we order something and they give us the wrong thing and still charge us for what they didn’t give us. I have been trying to call them to see if they can fix issue for the past hour and no is answering the phones. When I was in high school this bakery was owned by the Petermans and the service and food was excellent I am not sure if this location has a new owner or what the issue is but it’s very sad that the bakery has been rundown like this........

Great product, horrible customer service, the workers are rude and do not respond the phone and when they do they put you on hold. They should remove the phone service altogether, when confronted about leaving customers on hold they reply rudely saying that they are only 3, getting an on phone order takes less than 5 minutes! They need better customer service training.

Had a meeting close by and decided to stop for coffee and a pastry, what I thought was going to be an in and out thing turned out to be an approximate 25 minute wait, ordered a medium size coffee and a pastry, when I got my coffee, the medium size was the size of a regular cup, I even asked the server if that was medium (see picture compared to my credit card), the pastry was ok but the coffee was a turn off; I order medium size wherever I go so I know my sizes. It really disappointed me.

The food is okay but the service is the worse Ive ever experience. This IS NOT a quick grab and go on the way to work. Ive waited 20 minutes and watch only one person get attended. The service is extremely slow. Most morning there is only one or two people attending the line of customers. It was always packed. I just can never go unless I have 45 minutes to spare before work.

No doubt the food is good. This is not a review for bad food, but for terrible experience. The service is the worst. It seems the customer are the ones working for them, or they are doing us a favor. It shouldnt matter what they are doing or whats going on, being polite should be at the top of their to do list. I mean, you should be polite always in all aspects of your life, but to a customer more so. I just cant write it enough. We live in a society that doesnt know anything about respect, manners and kindness.

Too much waiting and there were only 3 or 4 people when I arrived!!

The place is literally empty except for myself and an UberEats driver. 4 employees behind the counter walking around and not a single one even looked my way for 20min. Then the Uber driver was told to take a number just to pick up an order which was sitting on the counter. This place has gone completely in the wrong direction and should be avoided at all costs.

I am giving a star cause its the minimum but for me is 0. The food here is famous for being really good and tasty but due to terrible services it is beyond awful for me. I ordered take out many times and when you get there, you had to wait more than 20mins to pick it up... an order that is right there in front of you getting cold, they just keep helping customers that just arrived to make an order and yours is just there waiting to be handed to you. It is a joke. They have not organization at all, i doubt there is a manager there, i have never seen it. In case there are, it is not doing its job!

I’ve been to other Vicky’s Bakery’s locations and they were very good, but this one is the exception. I wouldn’t go back. Croquetas were sweet, tasted like sugar. We ordered two sandwiches, both cold, even the pork was cold from the fridge. The two stars are for the cashier because she was nice, but the food was terrible.

Ordered today at 9am through Uber Eats. At 11:30 my order gets canceled. Been in contact with my Uber driver the whole time. Called restaurant 5x, they don’t even say “hold please”. Was told they didn’t have my order. Untrue. Was shown the order. Then told they were wrapping up my order. Driver went in and was told no order. Spoke to manager, Vladimir Navarro. No help at all. So my advice is if you want good service and common courtesy, do not go here. Vicky in East Hialeah can teach Miami Lakes 33014 bakery a thing or 2. I’m only sorry my poor Uber driver working on Father’s Day lost 2 hours of his time waiting for my order.

I just went there before 8 am.I will start by saying I told my family my experience and we decided not to go back ever. Two of your employees serving in the front with RED masks on had their noses out and the mouth part its loose very big. What is the point of wearing it. I made a comment about it and they just looked and did not fix it. Then it got better one skinny guy brought out a tray of meat pastelitos with a little white round mask that once again your employee had his nose out. That mask is so little it barely covered his mouth. Again I made a comment about it, he.just looked and kept walking. Then he comes out again and got a malta. Since you have cameras please check to see who those employees are that are not following guidelines of covid 19. If this is in front of the customers what do they do behind doors. Very disappointed at this place,I just waisted $35.

Horrible customer service. Rude employees. Asked the rude employee for her supervisors name who was also rude and she told me she was not allowed to give customers another employee’s name. She only gave me the managers name.

I have security camera, and i watched ubber driver without gloves, thats first concern, then the food quality super bad... the pizza pastel super mini, they charge me 3.95 each, a rip off, the cafe con leche, the top, unseal, the order itself unseal, could be touch by anyone... No safety at all, nor driver or the bakery... I called the bakery, I let the lady who pick up the phone know my concern with my order and ubber driver unsafety matters and she just answered, that is how they give up orders and about ubber driver is not my problem...waoo...

The food here is AMAZING. One of my best places to just go get a coffee or macaron sit outside on the highchair and just look at the scenery. It is a very relaxing,homey, calm, and amazing place. The sweets are top quality. I seriously have never tasted anything like what they have there. The staff is also very friendly sweet and helpful.

I stopped in to grab some pastries while visiting South Florida. Its been years since Ive had Vicky Bakery and I was not disappointed. Guava and cheese are my go to and they did not disappoint. The coconut were good as well, everyone seemed to love them. The pastries tasted fresh and service was fairly quick, Im glad I was able to get my fix here.

Horrible service, the staff is extremely unprofessional! Never going here again. I waited in line for about an hour and the lady that works there did not give me a ticket and when I told her I did not get a ticket she decided to cut people in front of me after waiting an hour. Very disappointing !

Sill the standard for Cuban pastry and finger food, Vicky Bakerys success is evidenced by their cross-over into more suburban areas where their venues are featuring a Starbucks-like atmosphere. This particular location has gotten a bit too busy where waiting has become the norm, with pricing which no longer reflects the value proposition Cuban food is known for. However, if you want to eat the standard to judge all others by, Vicky is still the place...

Did not get what I ordered through Uber eats. Called and basically they were like there’s nothing they can do. Never again.Update: Had no choice but to eat the food. It was absolutely horrible. They didn’t send a fork so I had to find one, no ketchup for the fries, no napkins.

Very bad experience, cake was hard as a rockthe bocaditos bread were hard toocalled and complained, never again, the bocaditos were no pasta at allgoogle should have stars to the left,(negative), will give them 5 negativei just lost $30.00 and the aggravation.wonder what happened to this place?

They have around 12 people waiting in line and they only have 2 employees serving and extremely slow servers they have all the patience in the world to serve customers it seems like they dont care at all, Took me 30 mins waiting in line and still i couldnt get served and had to leave because it was getting late for work already. They need to improve on their serving time issues because a lot of people were already complaining prior to my arrival.

This honestly is sad.... The Vicky Bakery brand hasnt been the same and this location is a prime example as to why. People waiting over an hour for a cup of coffee. Its the lack of management and ownership. Employees dont care if 1 or 100 people are serviced.

The pastries that are left from the day before gets served the next day. Bought cheese pastries and the cheese was crumbling. A sign of old, also the staff is not allowed to keep the tips and not allowed to say it either. Stay away from this bakery, there are many bakeries with way better quality in south florida.

We ordered from this location and the food and service was absolutely horrible. We placed the order through Uber Eats and were so upset over the order that we called the store and they did not care. The batidos de mamey were made out of expired milk, it was disgusting to taste (and we ordered 3). The chocolate shake is actually hot chocolate that is cold, it is not a shake at all. It is not in any way frozen or anything like a shake. When we called the store, instead of the manager apologizing, Vladimir said that there is no way, that we were wrong. Overall, horrible service. Do not waste your money.

Love the service and the quality of their pastries is awesome! For as packed as this place gets in the mornings they handle the constant flow of customers very well and keep everybody happy. The prices are pretty cheap compared to other bakeries. I ordered 3 platters that brought 25 pastelitos each and they were only 6 bucks each! And definitely make sure to check out the GroupOn offer online which is good for $20.00 worth of items and the offer only costs $12.00! Talk about winning! Love Vicky Bakery! Thank you!

Unbelievable i ordered an egg sandwich and some pastrys i had one pastry while I was waiting for the sandwich. I get to work and ate the sandwich and drank my café con leche come to find out that I get food poisoning !!!!! Unreal i shouldve said never mind when I saw the guy reaching in the cooler grabbing the ham and cheese with his bare hands NO gloves !!!!! Never again will i be visiting this bakery..

Worst service ever. Will never go back. I’m fluent in Spanish. Waited about 30 minutes because all the lady’s behind the counter were socializing and not caring about the 10+ people who were waiting to be served. When I finally get helped I go to the counter and ask for un sándwich cubano No mostaza No pepinillo. She looks at me as if I’m crazy. I tell her now in English Cuban sandwich no pickle no mustard. I get my Sandwich it has mustard. I tell her again I asked for no mustard and she says they are pre-made it’s the only way I can order it. Refused to offer me a refund.

Nice place. Ive been there couple of times and patries and services were awesone. I badly recommend you to go and have a coffee with real Cuban flavor.

I want to start of by saying that the service in this Vicky Bakery is TERRIBLE! I placed an order on a Tuesday September 25th to pick up on September 29th. We told the lady there that we wanted 13 cupcakes that were in LIGHT COLORS, more like Easter colors, we asked for sprinkles and she told us she only had light colors which was perfect, and we asked for a specific way on how they had to pipe our cupcakes and the woman told us that was the only way they piped cupcakes now. I left the establishment happy that day. Comes Saturday in the afternoon and the person responsible to pick up the cupcakes goes. When the person brings the cupcakes, I literally EXPLODED it was a total disaster. As i previously said I wanted lights colors, I think they gave me the darkest colors they had there. I had asked for the lights colors in pink, blue, green, and yellow and those ladies gave me DARK BLUE,RED (WHICH WE DID NOT ASK FOR), LIME GREEN, AND PURPLE! They even gave me three extra cupcakes WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR again!! I called and I told the lady about the incident, she said to bring the cupcakes in and they would give us new ones!! I go to the establishment and we are picking up the correct ones, the woman is all of a sudden mad, when it was their FAULT!! As I am looking at the cupcakes this time they were closer to what i wanted, but they were not piped the way I asked for and the sprinkles they put on them were sprinkles you could buy at your local Walmart. Because of the lady in charged of making the cupcakes apparently makes cupcakes whichever color she likes instead of looking at the ORDER we placed with 5 DAYS OF ANTICIPATED, the cupcakes and myself ended up being delayed at the party!! Also the texture of the cupcakes completely HORRIBLE!! Instead of a real cupcake they gave me a muffin with frosting on top!!!!!! I wouldnt recommend for anyone to attend this bakery at this location!! They only have one job to attend their clients correctly and FOLLOW ORDERS, but they can not accomplish it!! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND QUALITY!!

Bad and terrible experience of this place. Only as answers give you justificaciines that do not give satisfaction to the customer and offer you a service that does not meet and but do not reimburse you the money charged for a service not complete, your administrator does not leave the phone because he is busy with other things that believe this, Justify by their own conclusions.

Called to place an order over the phone since they have a sign stating why wait when you can call ahead. Yet I got put on hold twice for over 20 minutes and actually drove there before they even answered the call to place my order. That is ridiculous!!!
