I came to the Visionworks in Hialeah a few weeks ago for my annual eye exam and to get a new pair of glasses. Dr. Lee was phenomenal! She took her time to walk me through the different tests and explain my results. She and staff were also great about helping ensure I was able to get the right glasses that met my needs, both in look and function. I highly recommend others visit this location and ask for Dr. Lee!

I visited the Vision Works in Hialeah, FL a week ago and was graciously greeted by Mr. James and his supervisor Osmanny. They answered all my questions and concerns throughout my visit. So let me start off by saying how amazing Dr. Singh & James Rubi are! I came in with my 10 year old daughter to get her an eye exam and resulted in her needing to get glasses. Dr. Singh was so thorough and answered all of my questions. After the exam, I went over to the glasses to have my daughter pick out two pairs..(theyre currently having a BOGO deal!) She was looking at the kids selection but was not really liking the frames. I saw cute ones but she was just overwhelmed with the fact that she needed glasses and was still taking that in. James noticed her frustration and without hesitating, he picked out a few frames from the small size in the adults section and she immediately liked about 4 pairs! Although I was super grateful that he was able to prevent an almost panic moment, I told him I would get back to him because I wanted to compare other optical store prices and promotions. So I started to check other places but quickly decided to go back simply because of James professionalism and kindness. I decided to do business there primarily based on service/compassion versus price/promotions. Go to Visionworks and ask for James!

Fantastic place to get a new pair of glasses at a reasonable price, the nurses there are incredibly friendly and have a good sense of taste as well.I have to point out the service of Dr. Anielka, Mrs. Ana, Mr. James and of course Debla! I love this place extremely professional and I felt comfortable the entire time I was there .I have never tried contacts so it took me more then an hour to put them on but the woman who helped me was so kind and patient with me, she walked me through it step by step .Really appreciate that! Ive been going to this location for a few years. But today was horrible.After my consultation with a sweet Dr and her team, I went to purchase new glasses. Before the female employee even showed me options, checked my insurance information, offered help, she said it was about a 2wk wait to get glasses back. I advised I didnt have that time as im moving and she heard phone and literally ran away to answer phone. Im sure her manager can look back at camera 07/26 @3pm and see to confirm. Sad how poorly I was treated🚫 I definitely DO NOT recommend this location 🚫

The staff here is very helpful. I didnt have to wait long for my eye exam. Katie was patient with me as I was trying to find the right frames.

The people are very friendly. There was barely any wait time at all. The cleanliness of the facility is on point! The prices are great and they have so many options of glasses and sunglasses! I’m definitely staying with them. I want to thank Ana, especially she helped me out knowing exactly what my insurance would cover and was able to help me decide which glasses would be better. Mind you I still left with 2 glasses and 1 sunglasses. But she was well aware of what my insurance would cover and not and helped me decide what was best for me with my glasses especially since I work on computers for 12hrs! The eye exam was great and helpful, but I was completely lied to when given the pricing for the lenses. I was upsold on getting the non glare on my glasses. I was told that it was only $40 extra in cost, but after being charged I saw that it was actually an additional $150. So instead of having my insurance cover my new glasses completely I had to pay $115 out of my own pocket. It is one thing if I didnt ask for the price, but to lie to your customers is a terrible business practice.

I went into V.W. and got the super duper deluxe package. Dr. Anieka and Katia went above and beyond my expectations. The whole staff was kind courteous professional and knowledgeable. I couldnt be more happier with my visit. Yes I would recommend everyone. DALE!!! 😁😁

The two girls at check in were on their personal cellphone and didnt attend me until I walked up to the counter. They wanted to over charge me for an eyeglass exam that I did not need. Apparently the doctor there only does both glasses and contacts. This was not listed on the website when I booked my appointment. When I asked the girl at the counter to repeat herself because of her heavy Spanish accent she rolled her eyes and raised her voice as if I didnt hear her. I will also send in a 1 star Google review and tell everyone of how she tried to overcharge me and give me the worst customer service experience. I will never step foot inside this vision works. The facility smelled of dirty water, Noone was wearing masks and they did not check my temperature. They are not following cdc policy what so ever. Shut this place down as soon as possible.

I want to thank Debla who was the employee who took care of me yesterday 9/16/2020. She was very customer service oriented and very polite. She made me feel very comfortable and even help me chose my glasses with lots of patience and dedication. She is asset to your company. Everything was good, I just wish the associates were better trained in knowing what your insurance covers and doesnt cover. Everyone was nice and all and all didnt take too long.

After getting a walk in appt denied by Walmart and America’s best I decided to go to vision works where they greeted me kindly and allowed me to make an appt for my daughter and I as a walk in. The doctor saw us fast and we got our glasses and were done. My only complaint is if your paying out of pocket it can be expensive between my daughter and I I paid $1k for the glasses... over all the service was great !

Over pricing by 200% when you have insurance. Same day I got the same lens for $90 they charged $200. Senior citizen gauging... I’ll never go back reporting them to my insurance company... beware...

The service was absolutely great everyone from the front desk to the exam ladies and the final eye glasses fitting lady was awesome. Honestly downside was did not accept Medicare and the prices were very misleading ended up spending $90 on a exam plus $299 on glasses plus frames . I did not expect to spend nearly $400 for 2 pairs of glasses for my father but lesson learned.

They were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, and it looked like every customer was being attended, even when they were quite a lot! The Receptionists know what theyre doing, they look like working as a team, and they even smile at you (something that I think its missing in this type of industry). Lucy, who was the lady who helped me with the fitting and glasses, was SUPER nice, warm, friendly, and I loved every time she gave me her opinion about how I looked like with a certain glass mount. I will ask for her when Im going back for my next pair. Ooh... Because, I AM GOING BACK FOR MY NEXT PAIR! Great place for your vision needs! 😊

This place is so unprofessional. The rude front desk guy stated that an appointment is needed to be able to go inside the store. He looked at us from top to bottom telling us we need a prescription to be able to look at the glasses and a appointment. Avoid this place!!

My husband and I have been going to Visionworks located in Hialeah for a lot of years. We started going before we got married. When our 2 boys(21 yrs & 18 yrs now)complained about having some trouble with their vision, we also took them to our favorite Visionworks. They have the latest brand styles and an extended variety of frames to accommodate your budget. The first staff member who helped us was Ana, and since then, we called before going just to make sure she is working, if not we ask for her schedule. Not only she has an enjoyable personality, she is extremely professional, and she is an expert at what she does. She is knowledgeable about all brands, what’s on style, and provides her honest opinion regarding the frames matching our face shapes and skin/ hair color. Most of the time we spend more money than planned, but it has always been worth it. Beautiful and durable frames. All staff members are kind, caring, efficient, and they enjoy their jobs. We definitely recommend the Visionworks at Hialeah, and we strongly advice you to meet Ana.

Tatiana is the best! I got my glasses done here a few months ago and she was a grand helper! She helped me pick the perfect frame that matched my taste and my face! Very patient and sweet girl, can’t wait to go back! This place is so clean and put together so well!

Came here yesterday for my 12pm appointment and they were amazing!!! Even with this whole pandemic aggravation they were so nice and got everything taken care of! My eye exam was done in less than 15 minutes and I got new glasses coming! Totally recommend them.

Spent $ 500 in a pair of glasses and I can NOT SEE!!!!! everything is blurry,my eyes are red, have constant headaches, doctor reevaluated me told me that the glasses are not correct and the technician said otherwise in the mean while here Im half blind, should I get a lawyer ?------when again to Vision Works on 49 st, and you know what they told me ...... sometimes we dont get use to a new pair of glasses,,,,,,, thats is,,,, in other words it is what it is....

Ana, the sales executive was fantastic! Its my fist time buying prescription glasses and she was amazing explaining the whole process. Before this place I went to a few other optical stores but couldnt find the right frame, the variety they have is nothing like other places.

I have been going there for two years and cant be happier with the service. Everyone is outstanding and very friendly. I 100% recommend specially if you are looking for good and honest people willing to help you with just about anything.

Never returning back to this place. Extremely rude and unprofessional customer service! First To make an appointment is a nightmare they don’t even answer the phone! I understand that many things have changed due to Covid -19 but it is no what you say to your customers is the way that you say it, Norma was very unpolite with my mother the day that we came to the appointment. She told us since my mom wasn’t there to shop for glasses she can’t stay inside the store even that the store was empty without any customers, just me and three other employees. I would never recommend this location at all. The owner should take the appropriate actions in giving the proper training to his employees so they can give a well deserved care to their customers, since this place is not cheap at all. I spent + $600 dollars in my Glasses.

Tatiana tried to help me as much as possible. She was very nice pleasant person. We changed are mind more than 5 times and she still didnt mind. She was great customer service skills.

The “manager” is really arrogant. There is no intention at all of helping the customers. When you step into the store he is “nice”, but once you pay forget about it, they just don’t care about the customer neither the quality of their service, it’s just money for them.

Just today I was searching for new glasses and a woman named Tatiana really helped me to find the right pair of glasses. I am glad I had her because she had excellent service and she’s very friendly.

Horrible place. I was referred, drove from North Miami and when I arrived they wouldnt let me in even after I explained my mom does not speak English and required my assistance with the purchase. No explanation they just said no. They said no only the person purchasing while no staff speaks creole to assist her. Never going back. Manager didnt even make the effort to speak to me as a paying customer.

Went to this store to get new glasses for my son, it has been 2 wks already and just now rcvd a phone call telling me that there is a delay and I will have to wait another wk to get my sons glasses. Plus the Dr, has no kindly or patience with the kids. Intimidating my son, that I really had to bite my tongue. The worse of the worse. The first and last time to ever visit this store!!!

This location especially in Hialeah has been my favorite, everyone is super friendly and helpful. I really trust the doctors and opticians here with my prescriptions, and they really go the extra mile to make everything easy and pleasant. If you are anywhere in Miami I recommend you come to this Location, the customer service here is worth it.

Ten years ago I had a wonderful experience here when I bought two pairs of glasses, which, as a contact lens wearer, lasted me until just recently as I only wear my glasses at bedtime. I was pleasantly surprised that the same gentleman, Raphael, who waited on me then was still there and waited on me today. Raphael and his colleagues go out of their way to assist you with finding the frames that are best suited for you. Additionally, they do not rush you into a decision; rather, they are patient and accommodating. There are so many places in Miami that I could have gone for my glasses, however, this Vision Works is hands down the best, and I highly recommend them!

Visited this store 07/13/2019. Excellent customer service. The 5 stars are for the staff. Is ashame that the business owners do not care about their staff, and allow the front of the store to be so hot. 82° degrees :-( . One would think that they could afford some tinted windows to help block the sun light...who knows...maybe save some money in the electric bill. The owners get one star.

They are very attentive and work very hard to meet your needs. The doctor is super nice, the guy who attended me Rafael was very helpful and patient. They had my glasses done in less than 30 minutes.

The Doctor did not bother to call to notify the store that she was not coming in due to Hurricane Dorian evacuations, like we didn’t have a week to prepare. It’s not like she had an unexpected incident. If your not going to meet your patients scheduled appointment why not call in advance in consideration to Visionworks customers time, it’s common courtesy.

For the first time, I took my elderly uncle and aunt to get new glasses, and the experience I had was phenomenal. Ana, the assistant who helped us was extremely professional, as well as helpful. I would recommend Visionworks in Hialeah to anyone who needs assistance with their eyewear, especially when being assisted by Ana, who is top of the line.

I always get my eye exams in the Visionworks at hialeah. They always take great care of me. I have been going for 8 years now and I always receive the best attention from the front desk and all the workers. Ana, in particular, helped me fix my glasses and she was very professional.
