I was extremely upset when I hit a steel girder mailbox post when avoiding a wreck. I really like the car and was worried about anyone working on it, that it wouldnt be right. I knew that due to the pandemic it would take longer than normal to repair. I was kept informed along the way about the progress and what parts they were waiting to arrive. Thankfully the amazing team at Enterprise helped me out with the extended rental. The inspection revealed additional damage to which I didnt know, even multiple nails in a tire from the off-road adventure, which got replaced. Im extremely picky and after four attempts to get it just right, I was satisfied. Tina and Adrian did an awesome job dealing with me being picky and a little irritated at times. Bottom line is my car was fixed and Im happy and it looks great. Thats what you want in a body shop, and please have patience if you are having a repair done, the supply chain is fubar currently.Which side had the work?

Had to change my review. We were in a small fender bender and it was basically a brand new car had 20k on it. They totalled it. Tina was nice and helpful... but I referred my father there shortly after our visit and oh man do I feel bad for recommending them to him.His car was hit while parked at his house is was a very small amount of damage. Well he dropped it off at k&m and the car was hit in parking lot. Naturally there cameras mysteriously didnt work that day! Needless to say his insurance is having to pay for damage done on their property, and to make matters worse its been 3 months and not done! Insurance wont pay for rental so hes putting miles on my car for weeks now! Thanks k&m! Ill never go there or refer you again!

After my accident, everywhere was booked until after October. Tina managed to find a space to squeeze my car in so I wouldnt have to drive around with my five year old in a potentially dangerous vehicle.They went over and beyond, explaining how the process would go with my insurance and how to make sure my insurance treated me fairly.Though my car ended up as a total, the whole process took less than four days and was made more comfortable by their team.Would 100% recommend.

K and M is great! From the first phone call to checking in, Tina made is an absolute pleasure. Good customer service is hard to find, but you’ll still find it here. They are one of the few shops that can work on Teslas and so far I’m very happy with everything!

Tesla isnt quite known for their build quality or factory consistency - we never had major issues but I think the car is in better condition than when I dropped it off!

I am the happy owner of a Tesla model S which was involved in a minor, very minor, side-swipe. Since this is a shout-out for K&M, I will not go off on any rants about how long Tesla takes to send out parts, and how seemingly lousy they pack the parts that they do send out. Warning to Tesla owners...body work on Teslas is difficult and not like any of the dozen or so cars I have owned. Minor issues to the rear sides of the car can be MAJOR work, and the parts take a long time from Tesla.Okay, this is about K&M... I will first say that they did a fantastic repair job, on what turned out to be extensive work. The paint was perfectly matched, and the car is like new. The customer liaisons (in my case Adrian and Tina) kept me updated on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for the entirety of the job. When I noticed a small programming/calibration problem after I accepted the car and drove it 100 miles back to my house, K&M came with a flatbed truck, delivered me a loaner car, and took my car back to Hickory at no cost to me.Bottom line is that the customer service is every bit as good as the quality of the work they perform, and the facility is basically best described as a hospital OR with respect to cleanliness and orderliness. As a small business owner myself, I wish my workplace was as tip top perfect as this body shop. No offense to the owner, but he/she is clearly OCD, but in this case it is a great benefit to the customer. If I had another accident in any of my vehicles, I would return to K&M for the repairs. if I have another accident in my Tesla (and to all Tesla owners within 300 miles of Hickory), trust me...BRING YOUR CAR TO K&M for any body work.

Took my audi in for hood and windshield damage. When Tina did a walk around the car she notice every problem some I did not know about. The first thing she notice is the paint chipping on the grill. Without share details I told her that I was replacing it down the road. These people are so particular they fixed everything including most of the things I didnt initially notice, and tried to get me a new grill. Thats when I talked to Kyle about what I wanted to do to the front end and he took the liberty to order the grill I wanted and the euro tag with it. I really appreciate these people because they are just as particular as I am. Yea it took 8 weeks to get my car back but most of it was out of their hands plus you cant rush perfection.

They will fix your car but it will cost triple what it should. Had them fix my Tesla model Y for a deer hit that damaged the front bumper, hood, and left fender. The damage should have cost around 8,000 from what I have seen online for similar damage, but they charged 24,000 and held onto my car for 2 months. Would strongly recommend you go somewhere else.

So my family has known K&M collision for years, we’ve had a total of 3 cars go to them so far. They by far are the best quality around, and according to an adjuster for the insurance company, K&M are the 5th in the nation. My truck a 2018 F150 Platinum looked better after they took it in, than the day I drove it off the lot.This company is a true leader in customer service, not only will they fight for you but they will bend over backwards to help you out. Its very rare nowadays when you find someone at a company who cares as much about your situation as a close friend or family member would. This is the second time Ive dealt directly with Tina Walling and without question she is the most helpful, sincere and knowledgeable person Ive dealt with a long time in a customer service/support situation. Unfortunately my car was totaled in a collision and Tina walked me through the entire process which armed me with the information I needed to deal with the insurance company and negotiate from a stronger position. My Range Rover was hit from behind recently and the frame needs welding but is probably going to be a total loss. My Land Rover mechanic in Greenville told me to go to K&M in Hickory but State farm told me I had to work with calliber collision luxury in Charlotte. After three weeks of silence from the caliber collision luxury body shop I was fed up to hear I could have went to K&M from the beginning. Caliber collision luxury and state farm were trying to pigeon hole me into things I didnt want. The amount of professionalism and insight I was given from Tina at K&M collision turned this nightmare into a much easier process. Tina worked swiftly to get my issues resolved with amazing communication. K & M was wonderful to work with. I was in a car accident and being my first I honestly was clueless of how things worked with a vehicle in the shop. The insurance adjusters from the at fault party were awful and my car ended up at the wrong shop. After two trips in to that shop my car was not fixed. It was not fixed because the repair was based upon inadequate diagnostics by the insurance specified shop. My car was wrecked so we had it towed to K & M Collision 67 miles from where we live because of a recommendation. Tina answered the phone when I first called and she communicated with me every few days while my car was at this business. She was so friendly and gave wonderful advice as I had never had a wreck. The car ended up being totaled so this business stored the car until it was released to my insurance company. Everyone here was so easy to work with plus one man, I didnt get his name, helped me clean the car out and explained the severe damage of the car. One other thing, I have to say I have never seen such a clean auto body repair business.

From the first phone call with Tina to getting the entire car taken care of perfectly was the easiest and smoothest experience that I’ve ever had with a body shop. My vehicle was taken to K&M collision on Feb 3rd, along with insurances estimate of record. We were greeted by Kyle at the front desk, who was professional and originally assured us we were in good hands. GREAT START!11 days later we were informed repairs are complete and we were Next in line to be painted! AWESOME!2 days later we were informed the car couldnt be released yet, as they needed supplemental payment from the insurance company. OK?7 days later, they were still waiting, 11 ADDITIONAL days no progress. 12 MORE ADDITIIONAL days no progress.March 25, approximately 55 days with no vehicle, I was now informed I have additional repairs to be done? WHAT?FAST FORWARD: After OVER 75 days with no vehicle, which you can imagine is quiet frustrating and expensive, we finally broke down and demanded resolution. 5 days later we were told they need to fight for more money with the insurance company, bc they repaired additional things we didnt even request to be fixed. I was asked to bring $900, which they would be able to get back for us in a few weeks after fighting with insurance, which we did because at this point the whole situation is just ridiculous. We left with the vehicle at this time. We were also told they would continue to fight with the insurance company and get us this money backWe were then contacted that they had made a mistake and we needed to bring an ADDITIONAL $1,602? UM? We also were told that they proceeded to not fight on our behalf for the $900 and now we are just suppose to be out that?Throughout the process, things started very well and professional. As a customer I was drug on at MY EXPENSE for over 2.5 months!!!! Our dealings with Tina? Not the greatest but up until our last conversation where she threated to sick a lawyer on us for the $1602 they were at least professional. On the other hand Our dealings with Michael the owner have to date been extremely unprofessional. People shouldnt have to come to google to vent to get a business owners attention. Its a very sad situation.Hopefully we can conclude this and both parties move forward, however to date its not looking very promising.I hope this review can reflect the importance of taking care of clients. A female should not have to be without a car for 75 days and pay additional money for repairs that were not even originally asked for.

While it did take a bit for K&M to start work on my vehicle, they did a fantastic job. My Telsa Model S had extensive damage and K&M made my car look like new. Decided to use K & M Collision after my 2020 Acura NSX was rear-ended and it is now my go to place if I ever need them again and I live almost 3 hours away. K & M Collision did an amazing job fixing our car. It was brand new when someone backed into it and didn’t tell us. The passenger side door was dented, and some of the surrounding areas were also damaged. K&M said 3 weeks, and because of Covid it took a bit longer but they did an awesome job. They had to replace trim, all the goodies inside the door, blend paint, replace a logo or two, and we are super happy with the job. The employees were great, and the shop itself looks like a showroom. We definitely recommend these guys!

I have probably worked with over 10 different body shops over the years and K&M Collision was by far the BEST shop I have ever worked with. My insurance company gave me so many delays through the process but Tina at K&M called me at least twice a week, every week with updates. K&M Collision did everything they possibly could to ensure I had a great experience, and they were very quick and efficient once the insurance company gave them the green light. Kyle (manager) even gave me his personal phone number so I could text him a few times and ask questions. Unbelievable service, they picked up and dropped off my vehicle over an hour away in Charlotte. K&M was a breath of fresh air after getting into an accident that wasnt my fault. Knowledgeable staff reassured me that if my car was repairable they would be able to get it back to factory specs. Kyle really felt like an advocate for me throughout the process. After evaluating my car, K&M came up with a more thorough estimate than the initial one performed by the insurance companys appraisal app called Snapsheet. My car was determined to be a total loss. Staff at K&M took the time to explain what my rights were in dealing with the other persons insurance at this time. This empowered me to be able to negotiate a substantially larger settlement amount than I was intially offered because I knew what my car was worth.

My car was originally quoted as a 1700 fix. KM asked for a supplemental repair Audit and was awarded an additional $6,200 of repairs. Now the bill is over $16000 the whole process but as of today I am beyond frustrated at my experience with this company.

I cant brag enough on the Team of professionals at K & M! Although the greeting / intake staff as a whole are superb, Tina has always recognized my voice by phone, as well as worked tirelessly with the shop in addressing my questions, concerns, and ensured I was completely satisfied! Will also made himself available to review my pickup, address questions, and took extra time to explain processes that considered my perspective. Finally, Kyle has been behind the scenes in some cases, wrestling with Insurance coverages, making the cases for returning my vehicles to factory specs, with a look usually only found in showrooms while they were new!

I just want to start off saying I’ve never had to deal with a situation like this before. The insurance of the person that hit my car said it would only cost 1,600 to repair but the damage was far worse which puzzled me since I can tell even tho I’m not a car pro. I called k and m and spoke to Tina who was awesome and informed me all I need to do and what to tell the insurance to be able to get this taken care of and a rental. 20 min later I have the paper that k and m needs to be able to start the inspection process, and a rental number! After that I dropped the car off. A week later they inform me of the damage done to the car and the estimate totaling 5,700 which sounded more like the actual amount and that the insurance company would make a decision if it’s worth it for the repair or not. Few days pass and they decide to total it due to the higher mileage (230,000 mile 2007 bmw 530i) which made sense to me.All in all I want to say that k and m has been fantastic and that Tina is very knowledgeable and friendly. She definitely helped give me the peace of mind that I was in safe hands!Thank you K and M and most of all thank you Tina! You rock!

I had a very horrible experience with this company. The customer service was extremely poor and the delivery time was never met. Promised it would be about 3 weeks...took over 75 days!

Tina worked with me so well! Explaining the process and how it works with the insurance company. I was a complete mess when I found out my baby was totaled and she helped me along the process which gave me a great deal of relief. I am very hard to handle and she was able to be very professional with me and that goes a long way in customer service!

Today my 2019 Dodge Challenger needed some minor paint repair, and the team at K & M Collision did a great job ! This is the second time I have used K & M Collision in addition to body work on my wifes VW. They are pleasant and professional and you can always count on them to use OEM parts and fix your car the right way . They do factory work on a lot of high end cars . They are also great at working with insurance companies, and do a good job of taking you out of the middle with the agent. I would highly recommend K & M Collison for both minor and major work .

Very expensive cheaper to replace vehicles

Would not recommend unless you like giving up your car for weeks on end.I brought my truck in to replace a small plastic panel on the rear door. After 2 and half weeks they still had not done the work. They really didnt make any effort to communicate to me or the insurance and get my truck back to me in a timely manner.Only when I called and complained loudly did they actually get moving.To their credit the work is well done and they paid my $100 deductible for me to make things right. So when they are paying attention to you they do right. Just be prepared to nag them.

Outstanding customer service, the work performed was exceptional, and there were frequent updates to let me know status of the insurance claim, as well as the repairs progress.

I just had my 2020 Mazda repaired at K & M collision and couldnt be happier! A few years ago I had a bad experience at a local mechanical shop and left me with a bad taste about any shop period. I have a good friend that owns Allisons body shop in Charlotte and called him as soon as it happened. I was referred to K&M Collision Center from my insurance company. Allisons body shop talked to me about keeping my repairs close to home so it was convenient for me with rental vehicles and being close to the repairs. I had cold feet about it but my body shop friend said that would be the best thing to do. That makes sense, seeing how the body shop I normally use is an hour in a half away. I truly trust my friend. Not very many shops that push business to other shops but my friend Jason said that was the easiest thing for me to do. I value his judgment and he saved me a lot of time and money running back and forth. After picking up my car from K&M Collision I made a trip to my good friends body shop today. He and I looked over my car and he said this was some of the best paint and craftsmanship he has ever seen. Color was spot on every bolt and clip was in its proper place, color was spot on and he was very impressed with the job they had done. That makes me feel really good knowing my car is in the same condition as it was when I bought it. So I give K&M Collision 5 stars for doing such an amazing job on my car!!!! I also have to mentionTina Walling (Customer Care Supervisor) and the entire team at K & M who were great… very courteous and professional! Thanks Guys!!Just wanted to add that I was back in the shop (1/25/2021) for some paint touch-up and Tina Walling and the team were great as always. I didnt have an appointment but they still made time for me and got me in quickly.

I sent my car to K & M after a year and a half long nightmare between my insurance company and the body shop in Asheville who had repaired my car after an accident. Kyle is very experienced and I must say his customer service is outstanding. I could not say enough good things about my experience. They helped me in finally getting my car totaled (which should have happened from the start) With his expertise and thoughtfulness my nightmare is finally over and I cant thank him enough!!! Tina was super nice to work with and she went above and beyond to mail my tag back to me!!! I hope to never have another accident but if I do, K & M will be my first call!!!

Recently took my Audi Q5 to K&M Collision. The damage was extensive. From the onset communication with me and the insurance company was excellent. Tina, the customer services manager, was extremely attentive. Kyle, the lead person on the repair, was also excellent in this regard. The final result is outstanding-no evidence that an accident occurred.

We had just purchased a 2019 Armada that only had 323 miles on it when we were hit by another driver. I looked online to find a body shop that could do the repairs. After speaking with both Tina and Leeandra I choose to let K&M fix my new car. This turned out to be a great experience. The kept me informed from week to week on the status of my vehicle. K&M made this a hassle free experience on their end. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wanted quality work and showroom factory results. Everyone there was super professional, kind and courteous. The paint job was A1 you cannot even tell that the front was painted and the pearl white tri-coat is not an easy color to match. Trust me the last time I had another shop do any work it took them 2 times to get it right. But not K&M they got everything right the first. time. Thank you.
