JB was awesome they all was eager to help. It took almost 5 hours to get everything done but they all done a fine job from the time we walked in. Michelle greeted us with a smile. Because of Lindsey in the the Lenoir I was about to take my business elsewhere. I hope I never have to deal with her again very unprofessional and started an argument with us and she wasnt the one even helping us. Because of the hickory store Im giving them another chance.

I can’t say enough about how great Orion was in assisting us with a trade in issue that had been going on for several months. He sat and patiently listen to the details of the problem we had. He got with his manager and then spent a great deal of time on the phone and at last our issue was resolved. He was so kind and polite. He truly made us feel valued as customers. The service is pretty good but it is very expensive, I pay $54 a month for 8GB of data and unlimited text and call. Also I have a prepaid account through AT&T and the website is extremely irritating when trying to log into it. Every time I request a temporary 4 digit pin and then create my own pin after, whenever I try to log back into it with my new password that I had just created, it says it is not the right password? They really need to fix their prepaid website.

We spent the afternoon with Kyle in the Hickory, NC store. He was FANTASTIC!! We switched 3 lines from Verizon to AT&T, switched one phone over, added some accessories and had some glitches along the way but he worked it until it was resolved. He walked us through our new plan, was honest about what he thought we would need and what we didn’t. He helped us save at least $50/month on our plan compared to Verizon. Super happy and will return to work with him on our stuff anytime!! Also a shoutout to Ben in the same store who gave us a bunch of details on Saturday when we were in there!!

My MIL (81) had gone to the store to purchase a new phone. The tech proceeds to delete a security/tracking app because he thought it was part of the old operating system! He also signed all devices out of iTunes, the App Store and a few others! Someone needs to not only be re-educated, but FIRED!!!

Waited an hour before got any service, but was told it will be 25 minutes wait. Sale rep have very little knowledge about some of the products that the customer wants. Phone got disconnected without any warning, when phone less until I was able to reconnect my phone when I got home.

Ok... so we ordered online new service! Order went thru and we were getting 4 lines in starter plan with military discount and ap/pb. Which would made the plan cost 26.50 each line! So, point is we get to this location and due to covid they limit the bodies. We didn’t have an appointment (our mistake) so there was this man names Josh at the door that said. “There’s a wait”. Ok great so.... do you need my name?? He said yea what’s your name and number and what car. So we travelled in two vehicles and told him the account owners car. We loved to mine and went back in and told a lady to update it! She said cool gotcha! Mind you we waited for almost an hour till I see Josh waltzing over to the other car. Get out and say we r right here guess she didn’t update the info. That’s the second issue so far. Go in with positive thought and try to keep upbeat! Sit down at a desk with plexiglass and he pulls the phone number I gave him. Which again was my phone number that’s attached to a business account and he starts asking questions about it. (We already said we were there to start a new account). The person with me and myself had to chime up and tell Josh twice this account needs not messed with and we aren’t working with it today. We are starting NEW service. Explain about the cancelled order from previous night and he thank goodness was able to pull that order and see why it cancelled, and to avoid having another credit check ran. (He was knowledgeable of his systems). Thanks for that, however at this point this place was busy busy. Then the store manager come to the floor. This is where this store gave me the worst taste in my mouth. There was a group of 3 that came in and the manager was stationed right behind us with these three people. Behind manager is a tv with sound bar. He then turns on “maddmaxx” movie. It was so loud it was hurting my ears and it m partially deaf. The person I was with had to answer a few credit questions and he couldn’t hear the lady on the phones questions due to how loud this tv was. N out only was the tv blaring but there was also Bluetooth speakers ThT had to be pumping alanis morrisette at high volume as well. I lean over and ask Josh “can you please get the tv volume adjusted down please, it’s really bothering me” he laughed a snarky laugh and says “ha, good luck with that!! He likes it that way!” I was astonished at the fact the store manager was like that. I brushed it off and held my ears to help with the pain I was enduring at the time. Had to leave the store twice. (Mind you I was there to help my nephew open a new account and not get screwed over). Now, the manager leaves the floor and another rep comes out from break and he goes to the tv and turns the volume down. He was great and I wish I had his name! Thank you friend! When I thanked him he said “you’re welcome, I can’t stand when he does that. I can’t hear my customers and I really like hearing them” not even 5 mins later maybe legit a minute later manager comes back to the floor and cuts it back up and higher than it was before. Now we get to what really grinds my gears. We get our phones activated and texts come in telling us that we have hbomax for free with our elite plan! Now again our order was for 4 lines on the starter plan with military discount which we asked about twice. So these retail agents get commission on sales of phones watches plans and features! See photos for the rest of my review! We were lied to! They also are getting commission paid out for his choice to change our order with out our permission or choice int he matter. Josh did not follow policy and procedures set forth by att! Josh fraudulently added these features and rate plan. It was advised what plan we wanted and zero features! We also got free activation due to military discount! Out css states our bill is going to be 700$ josh are you going to use yourCommission to pay out bill that you screwed up? I am livid!!!! How can you sleep at night knowing that you are frauding people??? This should be illegal!

The best experience i had working with an AT&T associate! I added 5 lines to my plan as well as an accessory. Traded 4/5 phones in and was able to get my family the top of the line Samsung device free with their promotion! He worked with us amazingly to where it wasnt a hastle or complicated to be at the store. If you need a new phone or want to change plans go to this branch and talk to Orion!

Salesman was very arrogant and showed little apathy toward my issues at hand. I’ve been there for over 20 years he was very adamant in his ways never smiled once. I hope I never have to go back inside that store. Took my mask off once out of frustration with his slow service and attitude then he asked me to put my mask back on immediately.I do observe social distancing and mask wearing however his comment was staged in such a way as to be very offensive

Purchased a brand new iPhone 11 on 11/20 that stopped working a few weeks later. Returned on 12/5 just to be told they could not help us and had to contact Apple directly although they were the ones who sold us a faulty device right out of the box. Reached out to AT&T online and they helped us right away & sent us a replacement. Dont waste your time coming here. They clearly only care about making that commission money.

Went to the store after receiving my iPhone 12 pro in the mail. I wanted to get my info transferred and activated. I told the door attendant my intentions, he said it would be an hour wait, possibly a little longer. So I said that is fine I have some errands to run. Return to the parking lot 45 mins later, waited another 30 mins to go and she if I was close. He stated I was second in line. But his employees hadn’t had lunch and all were working from different areas due to Covid. He stated that 5 employees had Covid. He told another store patron a particular individual which is against HIPPA laws. Anyways I’m finally called after waiting 2 hours and 15 mins. I set down with the representative to be told they can’t transfer data and that it would be pointless to activate the phone. It would have been nice if the door attendant who is a manger there would have told me that in the first place. He comes over and says activations can be one of my things. I told him at the beginning what I wanted done. So he said I’ve been here since 7 am with customers fussing at me all day and I’m not taking it anymore get out of my store now. I replied I’m a customer who just purchased a phone from and you can’t help me? He said get out of the store now. I wish I knew how I could contact the owner of the store. This is not how you treat customers. I wasted my whole Sunday afternoon to be told get out of the store and nothing accomplished on my new phone. If I could drop AT&T I would. I would never recommend this store.

Never have I been so upset as I am with ATT.I made a appt.for them to help m with my Apple iPhone transfer.Got there and they said they no longer do this service unless I sign up with Apple Support which cost mire money!Told me to call Apple and I did.They list my pictures if my son who is deceased.Then told me to call Google which is NOT doing”cell phone calls because of Covid???Been a long time customer but no more and do nit buy a Apple iphone because they can sell them but will not help you with them!!without paying more money!

ATT makes offer for $700 credit if your old phone qualifies. Sells you new phone then says your old phone doesnt qualify. I walked on the deal then ATT tried to charge $55 restocking fee before ever leaving the store. I mentioned unfair trade practices and the attorney generals office and was refunded 100%. Rep should have qualified my old phone first. Shame on you ATT.

I went in to upgrade my phone and bought an iphone 11.they told me i could take my phone home and transfer my info and bring it back for a trade in if i chose to do so. so i left the store and had to set up my phone own my own because what they did didnt work. i finally get my phone info transferred and went back to trade in the old one for credit on my bill only to find out i couldn’t because it was only certain iphone 11 pro and max. i don’t appreciate being lied to and they couldn’t do anything to make it right other than say sorry ?!?!?

I needed to buy a modem and the Lincolnton store told me to try checking this store to see if they sold any. I called ahead of time to see if they had any in stock before driving 45 minutes there. The employee on the phone told me that they had both modem models in stock and told us that every AT&T store carried modems. So the next day I drive all the way to Hickory to purchase the modem they said was in stock just to be told that they dont sell modems and that no AT&T stores carry them. Not a single AT&T employee seems to know what they are talking about.

I have to write this for a particularly great experience my husband and I had the other night. We went to add a line to our account and we ended up with an employee named Chase. Now, there are two Chases there. He goes by Chase #2. He was extremely honest and helpful. He was aimed at helping us as a customer and not viewing us as a $ sign. Whether he made the sale or not he was professional and honest. My husband and I will always come see him first for anything else we need from the company. I really hope he gets promoted or reaches whatever goals he has for his life. The company in general needs leaders like him. With his respect, honesty and knowledge he has earned my family as loyal customers.

Their manager Robbie Jenkins is horrible!!! She is unwilling to take responsibility for the mistakes that her staff make and expects you to pay for it!!! I ordered two Samsung watches under a BOGO deal and the rep was aware that I was going to put one on my firstnet account and the second on my consumer (at&t) account. When the watches arrived I was able to get the watch up and running on my at&t account with no issues but was unable to get the watch to work on my firstnet account. I went to the store and had help from three different reps and a manager. After about 2 hours they realized I needed a firstnet sim instead of the at&t sim that I had. I had someone waiting in the car that was unable to come in due to the restrictions of the COVID virus so I left to finish the set up at home thinking this would work. Well it did not, so once again back to the store. I had a wonderful representative Michelle help me. I can not begin to say enough great things about her. She was kind, helpful, and tried to fix the problem to come but the management wouldnt hear of it. After several hours I learned that I was sold a watch that was not compatible with firstnet service and told that I could return the watch or watches but would still have to pay 1 restocking fee. So I ordered the watches at at&t bc it was BOGO so if I return one of course I am returning both bc why would I pay the same amount for one watch that I would pay for two at at&t. Side note best buy has these watches for $100 less per watch at the moment. After explaining to the manager the situation and the reasoning for returning both she refused multiple times to wave both restocking fees and expected me to pay $50 to return them bc HER employees sold me a watch that would not work! During my experience at this store I have had SEVERAL of her employees tell me that she was hard to reason with and would not work with people. That is coming from HER employees. After speaking with her this is the absolute truth! She is not willing to take responsibility and to me that is a worthless manager!

When I get there a guy meets me at the door and tells me they are at capacity bc someone was in the store mind you I had just hung up the phone with someone at this store less than 5 mins!!! However, the older gentlemen beside me was done completely wrong, the staff was nothing but insulting to him. The other guy behind me just wanted a phone case and the sales lady said thats awesome but we cant help you. This place needs better employees.... I will not be going back.

Ive been calling for 30 minutes to see if they have a certain phone in stock before I drive 25 minutes. Still havent got anyone on the phone. Called the Gastonia store and was met by an automated prompt that didnt give an option to call the store. Went to the Lincolnton store and the door was locked. Waited a while for the guy to even come out of the back room to unlock the door. That was at 1015 am and the store opens at 9. Is this seriously how Att does business?

Went here about a phone so had it all set up, three phones for $10.00 a month for 36 months with no activation fee they did a credit check came back with 1- phone 0, 2 - $600, 3 - Pay the phobe in full well over $700, a credit score of 805, so then my friend who has credit through the roof did score 840 it came back the same as mine so we werent saving anything at all.
